Therefore, the aims of study are to investigate the implementation of the standard process, analyze the discrepancy rate and design the solution toward the issue of discrepancy. This research uses the quantitative descriptive approach. There are several aspects investigated; (a) lesson plan, (b) learning process, (c) evaluation of learning result, and (d) headmasters control. To collect the data, the methods of observation, interview, and documentation are used. The result is explained in form of criteria. It is no discrepancy for lesson plans, means that most of the lesson plans are in accord with the Basic Principles issued by Ministry of Education and Culture Number 65 in 2013. The learning process has a quite discrepancy rate, means the standard process is incompletely applied; so does the evaluation which ignores several principles to apply. It is also noted that some headmasters ignore their function as an internal supervisor. To sum up, the discrepancy issue needs further concrete solution.

The purpose of this study was to develop an instrument to measure the knowledge and skills of fourth grade students in conducting scientific activities on the sub-theme of animals and plants around my house. The instrument consists of a number of items that lead the students to scientific activities (e.g.observe, ask, gather information, process and communicate information) that is equipped by a scoring rubric. The development model used is a model 4-D consists of 4 stages, namely define, design, develop, and desimanate. The validation and limited testing result shows that the scientific approach based-assessment instrument is feasible to use. The developed instruments can be used to evaluate the learning process and assists teachers in developing the competences of the students’s knowledge and skills in conducting scientific activities.

The research was Development Research with limited test which aimed to develop Mathematics learning devices with Cooperative Model with The Combination Of Experiences, Language, Pictorial, Symbol, Application (ELPSA) and Scientific Approach in Inequality Absolute Value, Fraction, and Irrational material which covered Lesson Plan, Students Book, and Students Worksheet. The subjects of the research were the students of class X at SMAN 2 Polewali Mandar District with the total of 35 students. The Development procedure of the research employed Thiagarajan Model (4-D) which covered four stages, namely defining, design, development, and dissemination. The result of limited test showed that (1) the average score obtained by the students in learning result test is 75.42 from ideal score by 100 with deviation standard 8.69 where 29 from 35 students or 82.85% met individual completeness which shows that classical completeness had been reached; (2) by using Mathematics learning devices with Cooperative Model with the Combination Of Experiences, Language, Pictorial, Symbol, Application  (ELPSA) and Scientific Approach, the students are more active in the learning process; (3) in general, the students gave good responses on the learning devices used; and (4) the level of teacher’ abilities in managing learning process of Cooperative Model with the Combination Of Experiences, Language, Pictorial, Symbol, Application  (ELPSA) and Scientific Approach is in good category, meaning that the teachers’ performances can be maintained. Based on the results of the research, it can concluded that Mathematics learning devices with Cooperative Model with the Combination Of Experiences, Language, Pictorial, Symbol, Application  (ELPSA) and Scientific Approach developed has met the requirement of valid, effective, and practical criteria.

This research employs a case study qualitative research design. The data were obtained from classroom observation and teachers lesson plan analysis and interview. The findings showed that the teachers implemented the scientific stages in English Language Teaching. They conducted observing, questioning, experimenting, associating and communicating in the sequence activities. Besides, the teachers can demonstrate the student-centered learning strengthened by collaborative, cooperative, active and meaningful learning. However, concerning the conformation of the implementation with lesson plans, based on the indicators, learning objectives, learning materials, learning media, scientific stages and Scientific Approach model (discovery learning, inquiry leaning, problem based learning and project based learning), the teachers still have to underline and mention the Scientific Approach model and state learning objectives. Furthermore, the other components have been presented well in both teaching and lesson plans. Keywords: English language teaching, lesson plan, scientific approach, teaching practice, the 2013 curriculum

This research was conducted to describe the results of the analysis of the implementation of IT-based learning at the Bunga Bangsa Islamic Kindergarten Bekasi. The analysis includes the understanding concept of IT-based learning implemented in Bunga Bangsa Islamic Kindergarten, knowing the obstacles in the implementation of IT-based learning there, and describing the strategies carried out in implementing IT learning there. This research was conducted for 3 months with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection is done by interviews, observation, analysis of documents in the form of curriculum documents, lesson plan (RPPH), assessment of children's learning outcomes and documentation of the usege of IT tools in learning there. Data analysis begins by describing the findings of the study and then conducts an objective discussion with a theoretical approach. In this study the learning process was described in the Bunga Bangsa Islamic Kindergarten and the usage of technological tools in various aspects of learning components such as media, learning resources and also as learning support. The learning process is more interesting and not monotonous, thus creating a fun and interactive atmosphere. The constraints found were that there was still lack of teacher references for using IT tools for learning in some activities in specific theme and the lack of teachers' skills in using existing IT tools. Current efforts to overcome these obstacles are by providing various references in the form of videos, books and workshops on the use of IT in learning.
