This study aims to find out: 1) Differences in lecturer organizational commitment based on gender on permanent lecturers at University of Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara, 2). Differences in lecturer organizational commitment based on experience or period of work for permanent lecturers at University of Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara 3). Differences in lecturer organizational commitment based on interaction between gender and experience or period of work for permanent lecturers at University of Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara. The study used a comparative descriptive method that is to analyze organizational commitments that are bound variables based on two sample groups namely the characteristics of lecturers of both gender and experience. Data was collected from a sample of as many as 40 male lecturers and 38 female lecturers using likert scale model quesionaries. The selected research design is a factorial design that is 2 x 2. A 2 x 2 factorial design using ANAVA analysis. His research results showed that gender, experience and interaction co-determined commitment to the organization.

Resilience by disaster need to be grown in individual’s self in order that does not become problem in the development of individual to become a better person. Many factors affect resilience, including gender, cultural background and attachment of parents. This study aims to test the relevancy of resilience with several factors. This research uses quantitative approach with comparative descriptive method. The population  is 912 students with a sample amounts 278 students with using Proportional Random Sampling. The instrument used is Likert scale model. Data were analyzed by three way ANOVA technique. The results showed that gender and attachment of parents affect individual’s resilience while culture significantly has no relevance resilience. The implications of this research will be discussed.

ANALYSIS OF CATTLE FARMERS PERCEPTION ON THE ROLE OF EXTENSION AGENTS IN SANGKUB DISTRICT NORTH OF BOLAANG MONGONDOW  REGENCY. There are about 596 cattle farmers in Sangkub county North of Bolaang Mongondow Regency.  Two hundreds and ten farmers from them are being corporated in 21 farmer groups. From those twenty one farmers, seven farmer groups that are actively categorized in farming operation, while others are considered inactive anymore. The reason for that might be due to the lack of capital or farm management misconduct, or the lack of knowledge in the value of cattle farming. The present study was designed to elaborate the perception of cattle farmers on the role of extension agents in Sangkub County North ofBolaang Mongondow  Regency.            The research was conducted in a descriptive method that delineated phenomenon of research variables. Cattle farmers group samples were choosen purposely and finally farmers in the village of Tombolango Induk, Busisingo, and Sangkub II were included in the study. All of thirty cattle farmers were  taken as samples. Variables measurement were conducted using ‘Likert Scale’ and scoring at each indicator.            Research results showed that perception of cattle farmers on the role of extension agents in Sangkub County North  of Bolaang Mongondow  Regency can be rated as follow: in term of extension agents as facilitator: 96.67% good, 3.33% very good; extension agents as mediator: 83.33% good enough (fair), 3.33% good; extension egents as motivator: 83.33% good enough (fair), 16.67% very good; extension agents as educator: 93.33% good, 6.67% very good; extension agents as communicator: 100% good.  Overall, it can be concluded that perception of cattle farmers on the role of extension agents in Sangkub County of Bolaang Mongondow Utara Regency rated 93.33% as good and 6.67% as very good. Keywords: Perception,Cattle Farmers, Extension Agents, North of Bolaang Mogondow  Regency

The research objective to identify, analyze and obtain empirical evidence on the Influence of expertise, independence, adherence to a code of ethics and motivation partially and simultaneously to the quality of auditors on Financial Oversight Inspectorate Bogor regency. The method used was survey by using instrument in the form of a questionnaire with Likert scale model. The population in this study were all officers of Regional Financial Oversight Inspectorate Bogor District who participated in the task of inspection, as many as 60 people. From the research results obtained: Skills significant effect on the quality of auditors. The independence of a significant effect on the quality of auditors. Compliance with the code of conduct a significant effect on the quality of auditors. Motivation significant effect on the quality of auditors. Expertise, Independence, Compliance with the code of ethics and motivation simultaneous effect on the quality of the auditor, the better the expertise plus good independence and has adherence to a code of ethics, the better the quality auditor.

Abstract Farmers in Landak Regency more frequently face uncertainty and risk of rice farming failure. Therefore, a program that can protect the farmers from the risk is required. Rice farming business insurance (AUTP) is an alternative to overcome the risk of loss due to crop failures. The limited information and knowledge of farmers regarding the AUTP have led to different perceptions among farmers and have affected the farmers’ enthusiasm to become the insurance participants. This research aimed to analyse the farmers’ perceptions of the AUTP program and its implementation mechanisms in Sengah Temila Subdistrict, Landak Regency. A descriptive method with Likert scale was used to analyse the farmers’ perceptions. The research results show that the farmers’ perceptions are at high category with the total score of 3048, indicating that they agree with the AUTP; the highest indicator (195) was that the program objective is protecting the farmers from crop failures, and the lowest indicator (153) was that the program gets success when the farmers agree to pay the insurance premium fully. In general, the implementation of the AUTP in Landak Regency was in accordance with the 2018 AUTP Premium Assistance Guidelines.

This research is used quantitative approach and descriptive method. Instrument used by the research is skala Survey of Study Habits and Attitudes questionnaire to describing media social using by students and Likert Scale questionnaire to describing student’s political literacy. Data analysis using Rank Spearman Order.The result show that social media used by students 48% good, 26% fair, and 15% poor. Student’s political literacy are 36% good, 43% fair, and 21% poor. The role of social media in the development of student's political literacy is 54,79% affected by social media, and 45,21% affected by other factors.

ABSTRAKTujuan dilaksanakan kegiatan ini yakni untuk meningkatkan soft skill mahasiswa dalam (1) menentukan topik penelitian yang akan diajukan sebagi tugas akhir (skripsi), (2) mempermudah mahasiswa dalam menelusuri hasil penelitian relevan yang mendukung penelitiannya, (3) menghindari kegiatan plagiasi selama penyusunan hasil penelitian, dan (4) memudahkan mahasiswa dalam menulis rujukan dan menyusun daftar pustaka. Kegiatan ini diikuti sebanyak 80 mahasiswa semester akhir. Workshop merupakan metode yang ideal dilakukan oleh tim abdimas sehingga berjalan dengan lancar. Pada tahap akhir, peserta mengisi angket Skala Likert dengan 4 option untuk mengukur pemahaman dan kemampuan mahasiswa selama workshop berlangsung. Hasil angket menunjukkan sebanyak 91,27% mahasiswa sudah paham terhadap strategi penyusunan dan menyelesiakan tugas akhir, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 8,73% belum paham pada bagian menentukan uji statistik yang digunakan untuk menjawab hipotesis penelitian. Kata kunci: soft skill mahasiswa; referensi berbasis digital; penyusunan skripsi. ABSTRACTThe purpose of this activity is to improve student soft skills in (1) determining research topics to be submitted as a final project (thesis), (2) making it easier for students to trace relevant research results that support their research, (3) avoiding plagiarism activities during the preparation of results research, and (4) make it easier for students to write references and compile bibliography. This activity was attended by 80 final semester students. The workshop is an ideal method carried out by the Abdimas team so that it runs smoothly. In the final stage, participants filled out a Likert Scale questionnaire with four options to measure students' understanding and ability during the workshop. The results of the questionnaire showed as much as 91.27% of students had understood the strategy of preparing and completing the final project, while the remaining 8.73% did not understand the part of determining the statistical test used to answer the research hypothesis. Keywords: student soft skills; digital based reference; thesis compilation.

This study aims to determine the Effect of Professionalism and Organizational Commitment on Internal Auditor Performance on DKI Jakarta Representative BPK. The method used to determine the Effect of Professionalism and Organizational Commitment on Internal Auditor Performance uses multiple regression statistical analysis. Based on the research results and hypothesis testing it can be proven that partially the professionalism variable has a positive effect on the performance of the Internal Auditor. While the Organizational Commitment variable significantly influences the performance of the Internal Auditor. Simultaneously the variable Professionalism and Organizational Commitment significantly influence the performance of Internal Auditors. The ability of the variable Professionalism and Organizational Commitment to explain changes in Auditor Performance is equal to 60.8% and the rest is caused by other factors not examined. Of the three variables that most dominantly affect the performance of the Internal Auditor is Professionalism, based on the value of the regression coefficient and the t-level of significance of the Professionalism variable is higher than the Organizational Commitment variable. Thus the Auditor Professionalism really helps the Auditor to improve his performance.

The sar culture is the pre-existing culture of the Kanum tribe whose implementation is aimed to maintain and preserve nature. Sar culture not only has a positive influence on the environment, but it also represents symbolic violence against women and the Kanum people. This research is aimed to describe sar culture based on the theory of habitus and symbolic violence by Bourdieu. This research involved a qualitative descriptive method, in which the data was obtained from in-depth interviews with Kanum tribal head, Kanum tribe elders, and some village residents involved in sar, observation in Naukenjerai district, and supported by literature review. All collected data were then analyzed descriptively according to the concepts of habitus and symbolic violence by Bourdieu. The research results show that sar culture is a habitus resulting from an interaction between human beings and their nature that has existed for long before. Besides that, there is symbolic violence to the Kanum women and also to the Kaum people, which done by the Kanum men and the leaders of the Kanum tribe as the dominant actors.

This article discusses the using of risalah of tajwid digital apps in increasing the students of SMA Negeri 4 Pinrang abilities in reading al-Qur’an. The using of risalah of tajwid digital apps was by optimazing the technology of computer that running by risalah of tajwid digital apps, that able to create the learning environment to prepare the options that can stimulated the students to use the potential cognitive. The objectives of this research was to get the empirical data about the students’ ability in reading Alquran before and after taught by using risalah digital of tajwid science and to get the empirical data about students’ ability in reading Alquran before and after using text book as well as to get the information about the difference in students’ level of ability in reading Alquran at the experiment class and the control class. The research design is used nonequivalent control group design, it means that in this design the experiment class nor the control class was not selected randomly.The research results are: (1) The level of students’ ability in reading Alquran in the experiment class before the treatment was classified in poor category, however, after given the treatment it was in good category. (2) The level of students’ ability in reading Alquran in the control class before the treatment was in poor category, however, after given the treatment it was in good category. (3) There are difference of students’ level ability in reading Alquran in the experiment class and the control class.

This study aims at analyzing the violation of the maxim of quantity produced by undergraduate students in research seminar and the reason why they violate this kind of maxim. The researchers applied qualitative research design by using observation and in-depth interview. Four undergraduate students were the participants of this research recruiting using purposive random sampling. The results show that most of the participants violated the maxim of quantity by doing circumlocution (not to the point), providing more explanation, and talking too much. They considered that it was valuable for them to provide more information than needed to obtain the attention of the examiners. They assume that the more they speak the good outcome for their research seminar will be accomplished because having more explanation means they master their research content well.
