Teaching materials playing a vital role in supporting the learning process in a classroom. The right teaching materials will make the learning process more effective. The problem that is often faced by students is the teaching materials that are not appropriate, so that it lowers student learning outcomes. This causes the low learning outcomes of students in class XI economics MA Madinatusallam. For this reason, researchers try to investigate the effectiveness of e-pocketbook teaching materials. Field test results showed that the experimental class obtained higher learning outcomes than the control class, with a significant difference (p = <.05).

This study aims to produce the valid SETS-based science teaching materials for the practical and effective use in improving student learning outcomes on environmental pollution materials. This research is Research and Development with pretest-posstest one group design implemented at VII class’ students of MTsN 1 Kendari in the second semester of academic year 2015/2016. The instruments of the study are valid and reliable observations, questionnaires and cognitive tests to obtain the required data. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique is using descriptive and inferential analysis after meeting the normality and homogeneity requirements test. The results indicate; 1) the results of the validity of the SETS-based science test materials by the material and media experts which are valid and highly feasible materials to use, 2) the product practicality test results in small and large group samples which include all aspects considered to be generally implemented as a whole, and 3) the product effectiveness test results obtained through the average test of student learning outcomes before and after treatment which is significantly different, meaning that students' learning outcomes after treatment is increase. While the response of students and teachers on teaching materials used both in small and large group samples are both very good and suitable to use as a learning material on environmental contamination material in MTsN 1 Kendari.

Abstrak: Penelitian dan pengembagan ini bertujuan: (1) mengambangkan bahan ajar mata pelajaran PPKn; (2) mengetahui efektifitas produk bahan ajar pada mata pelajaran PPKn yang dikembangkan. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan menggunakan model Borg and Gall. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan; (1) validasi untuk kelayakan isi  bahan ajar PPKn adalah baik, (2) validasi untuk kelayakan penyajian  bahan ajar PPKn adalah baik, (3) validasi untuk kelayakan isi  bahan ajar adalah baik, (4) validasi untuk kelayakan penyajian bahan ajar adalah baik, (5) validasi untuk kelayakan bahasa bahan ajar adalah baik,  rentang validasi akhir dari bahan ajar PPKn hasil pengembangan adalah baik, yang artinya bahan ajar PPKn hasil pengembangan dinyatakan valid. Hasil pengujian hipotesis membuktikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan bahan ajar PPKn hasil pengembangan dengan hasil belajar siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan buku teks. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan hasil pengolahan data dimana diperoleh thitung sebesar 8,666  sedangkan ttabel = 2,042 , pada α = 0,05 dengan dk 98 . Hasil perhitungan dimana  thitung > ttabel, thitung yaitu  8,666 >  2,042. Disimpulkan bahwa jumlah rata-rata nilai postes hasil belajar kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan bahan ajar PPKn hasil pengembangan adalah sebesar 80,667 dan lebih tinggi dari kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan buku teks, yaitu  sebesar  55,333. Kata Kunci: bahan ajar  pada mata pelajaran PPKn Abstract: Research and pengembagan aims: (1) floating the subjects PPKn instructional materials; (2) determine the effectiveness of the product instructional materials on subjects PPKn developed. The research method is a research and development using the Borg and Gall models. The results showed; (1) validation of the feasibility of the contents of teaching materials PPKn is good, (2) validation of the feasibility of presenting instructional materials PPKn is good, (3) validation of the feasibility of the contents of teaching materials is good, (4) validation of the feasibility of the presentation of teaching materials is good, (5) validation of the feasibility of language teaching materials is good, the ultimate validation range of teaching materials PPKn result of the development is good, which means the development of teaching materials PPKn result declared invalid. Hypothesis testing results prove that there is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students that learned to use teaching materials PPKn results with the development of student learning outcomes that learned to use textbooks. This is indicated by the data processing which gained tcount of 8.666 while the table = 2.042, at α = 0.05 with 98 hp. The results of calculations where thitung> ttable, thitung namely 8.666> 2.042. It was concluded that the amount of the average value group posttest learning outcomes of students that learned to use teaching materials PPKn development results amounted to 80.667 and was higher than the group of students that learned to use textbooks, which amounted to 55,333. The problem in this study is the learning process and learning outcomes of students in social studies learning in Class VI SD Negeri 81/II Muara Bungo is still low, this is evidenced by the results of preliminary observations made by researchers of 37 students only only 7 students (18.91%) who obtained value in the completion criteria. The reason is that teachers only use conventional approaches in the classroom, which causes the learning process and student learning outcomes to be low. The subjects of this study were students of class VI of SD 81/II Muara Bungo, amounting to 37 students. In the implementation of this study consisted of two cycles carried out by researchers. Each cycle consists of planning activities, implementation accompanied by observation and reflection in each cycle. This study aims to describe the application of the NHT model in improving the process and learning outcomes of social studies in SD Negeri 81/II Muara Bungo classes. The research data was collected through observation, documentation and test results. The results of the analysis of the research data indicate that the use of the NHT model can improve social studies learning outcomes of Class VI SD Negeri 81/II Muara Bungo. This can be seen from the results of the second cycle students' tests have reached KKM 75, seen in the learning outcomes of completeness of the learning outcomes of the first cycle is 29.72% in the second cycle increased to 83.78%.

The Effectiveness of Group Investigation Learning Models on Student Learning Outcomes in Subjects of Fiqh. The purpose of this research is to find out whether the group investigation learning model class XI MIPA is more effective than the conventional learning model class XI IIS 1 on the learning outcomes of students of class XI Aliah Al-Ihsan Kalikejambon on Fiqh subjects. The research is in the form of experiments with the type of experiment conducted is quasi-experimental research (Quasy Experiment Research). Based on the results of statistical calculations from the average post-test results of the control class 68.35 and the average post-test results of the experimental class 72.75 obtained calculations using the SPSS program with a significance of significance (Sig 2-tailed) is 0.034, a significance value of 0.034 <0.05. Then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the results of the post-test of the control class and the experimental class. Thus, it can be said that the teaching and learning process carried out with the group investigation learning model in class XI MIPA is more effective than conventional learning models in class XI IIS 1 on student learning outcomes in the subject of Fiqh.   Keywords: Fiqh lessons, Group Investigation, Learning Outcomes   Abstrak Efektivitas Model Pembelajaran Group Investigation Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Fiqih. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran group investigation kelas XI MIPA lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional kelas XI IIS 1 terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI Madrasah Aliah Al – Ihsan Kalikejambon pada mata pelajaran Fiqih. Adapun penelitian ini berbentuk eksperimen dengan jenis eksperimen yang dilakukan adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (Quasy Experiment Reasearch). Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan statistik dari rata-rata hasil post-test kelas kontrol 68,35 dan rata-rata hasil post-test kelas eksperimen 72,75 diperoleh perhitungan menggunakan program SPSS dengan signifikansi signifikansi (Sig 2-tailed) adalah 0,034, nilai signifikansi 0,034 < 0,05. Maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil post-test kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Dengan demikian, dapat dikatakan bahwa proses belajar mengajar yang dilakukan dengan model pembelajaran group investigation di kelas XI MIPA lebih efektif daripada model pembelajaran konvensional di kelas XI IIS 1 terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Fiqih.   Kata kunci: Pelajaran Fiqih, Group Investigation, Hasil Belajar

The learning process cannot be separated from the use of teaching materials that play a role to achieve the competencies that must be achieved by the learners. The purpose of this research is to identify the developmental stages of Predict Observe Explain (POE)-based thematic teaching materials, quality, and effectiveness of teaching materials to improve the learners' learning outcomes. This is a research and development technique. The development of this product is done through the design model of ADDIE learning system, i.e. (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, (5) and evaluation. The results show that the POE-based thematic teaching materials has excellent quality on aspects of graphics and material with the score 4,52 and score 4,75 respectively from the aspects of readability, linguistic, and presentation according to the learners as the users of the product. Furthermore, the effectiveness test results show that the average class score that does not use POE-based thematic materials is 75,72, whereas that using POE thematic materials is 82,08. Therefore, the average score in the experimental class is higher than the control one. The Sig. shows 0,010 0,05, then H0 is rejected and H1 accepted. It is concluded that there is a significant value difference between the control and experimental class.

This study aims to analyze whether student discipline affects physics learning outcomes in physics subjects at SMAN 8 Jambi City. The population in this study were all students of class X at SMAN 8 Jambi City. The sample of this study was students of class X IPA 1, X IPA 2, X IPA 3, totalling 79 students at SMAN 8 Jambi City. The regression test results stated that there was an influence between students' disciplined attitudes towards physics learning outcomes by 65%, while the remaining 35% was influenced by variables other than the variables studied. Based on the research results above, it can be concluded that there is a positive influence between learning disciplines on physics learning outcomes. Students who have a good discipline attitude will also experience an increase in obedience and perseverance in learning so that it has a good impact on learning outcomes. Vice versa, if students do not have a good learning discipline attitude, it will make students disorganized in the learning process and cause student learning outcomes to be not good.

Abstract: The development of thematic teaching materials for comic-based picture stories is one of the tools to help students understand learning. Facts in the field indicate that the learning process has not proceeded as desired, this is because the teacher and students only hold on the textbooks (student books and teacher books) provided by the teacher without being accompanied by supporting media when the teaching and learning process takes place so that children feel bored, unhappy, sleepy and lazy because there are no exciting media to support thematic learning in which there are several subjects. The purpose of this development is to produce products in the form of fun comic-based teaching materials making it easier for students to deepen the understanding of the environment around my home. The kind of research used by researchers is descriptive with qualitative and quantitative data analysis. This type of research is Research and Development, which refers to the Dick and Carrey model. The results of the research development of thematic teaching materials based on pictorial stories meet interesting criteria with the results of the content expert tests reaching 86% eligibility level, design experts reaching 92.5%, linguists reaching 80%, learning practitioners reaching 86%, and the results of field trials reaching 93 %, student learning outcomes on average post-test scores 72.68 and pre-test scores 97. From the explanation above, there are significant differences in student learning outcomes using thematic materials based on comic-based pictorial stories and those who do not use thematic-based thematic teaching materials pictorial. This shows that the product being developed has appropriateness of qualification because the concepts are in accordance with the characteristics of the child. Hence, the teaching material is suitable for use in learning.

Teacher creativity to create a fun teaching and learning atmosphere plays an important role in developing the potential of students. For example, teachers can develop an effective learning media to engage students in meaningful learning. However, few teachers can develop learning media as is the case in MIN 4 Jember. From the preliminary study, they found it difficult to develop an effective instructional media which caused student learning outcomes low. Thus, this study aims to develop an effective pop-up book based media to improve the learning outcomes of natural event themes of students in class I of MIN 4 Jember. The present research employs the development study by modifying the Brog and Gall development model. The model consists of several stages, namely: finding a problem; collecting data; design / product development; design / product validation; design / product revision; and trial use. The final product of this research is in the form of pop-up book based media developed from two aspects, material aspects and media aspects. The results of the validity trials obtained from experts on learning materials were 88% and experts on learning media were 82% with valid qualifications. The t-related test results also showed a significant difference between the acquisition of the learning outcomes of the control class and the experimental class that was 25%. It can be concluded that this pop-up book based media is appropriate for use in learning and is effective in improving the first grader students learning outcomes of natural event theme of MIN 4 Jember.

ABSTRACTThis research aims to produce learning instrument of social science oriented model of problem based learning aided of video media and can improve student learning outcomes fourth grade of elementary school.  Planning phase was aimed to develop instruments with 4-D Model by Thiagarajan (1974) which is reduced into 3-D (define, design, and develop). Action phase is learning process in the classroom using one-group pretest-posttest design. The results showed that the develop instruments fit for use because it has met the criteria of a valid, practical, and effective. Valid seen from the validity of the content of the lesson plan, student teaching materials, students worksheet, media, and learning outcome test with an average value of 3,19 has a good category, student teaching materials legibility and students worksheet respectively 82,5% had both categories, the sensitivity of items categorized as sensitive. Practical implementation of learning can be seen from the percentage of 91,04% has a very good category, the problems encountered uring the learning can be overcome. Effective learning is seen from the increased activity of students in each meeting, student responses 90,83% have a very good category. Student learning outcomes increased with N-gain average of 0,65 is considered a moderate increase. Based on the research results can be concluded that the application of the model of Problem Based Learning aided video media can improve student learning outcomes and the development of the Sosial Science oriented learning model of Problem Based Learning aided video media fit for use in the learning process because it has met the criteria of a valid, practical, and effective.  Keywords: Learning Instrumen, Problem Based Learning. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran IPS berorientasi model Problem Based Learning berbantuan media video yang layak dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua tahap, yaitu tahap persiapan yang bertujuan mengembangkan perangkat mengikuti rancangan 4-D model dari Thiagarajan (1974) yang direduksi menjadi 3-D (define, design, and develop). Dilanjutkan dengan tahap pelaksanaan pembelajaran di kelas menggunakan rancangan one group pretes-posttest design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat yang dikembangkan layak digunakan karena telah memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Valid terlihat dari validitas isi RPP, BAS, LKS, media, dan THB rata-rata 3,19 berkategori baik; keterbacaan BAS dan LKS masing-masing sebesar 82,5% berkategori baik: sensitivitas butir soal dikategorikan peka. Praktis terlihat dari persentase keterlaksanaan pembelajaran 91,04% kategori sangat baik; kendala-kendala yang ditemui selama pembelajaran dapat diatasi. Efektif terlihat dari peningkatan aktivitas siswa dalam setiap pertemuan; respon siswa 90,83% kategori sangat baik. Hasil belajar siswa meningkat dengan N-gain rata-rata 0,65 dikategorikan peningkatan sedang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan media video dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan perangkat pembelajaran IPS berorientasi model Problem Based Learning berbantuan media video layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran karena telah memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Kata Kunci: Perangkat pembelajaran, Problem Based Learning.

The aims of this study to determine student  learning outcomes in mathematical logic material after the application of logic pipe props. This research was conducted in class X.3 of SMA Muhammadiyah Pagaralam. The research method used was the experimental method with the category of one group pretest posttest design. Data collection techniques used in this study was documentation, observation, interviews, and tests. From the results of the study it can be seen that student learning outcomes in mathematical logic material using logical pipe props can be said good. This can be seen during the learning process through observation and the Student Worksheet  that is done by students. In these learning activities, students in the group are active in completing the Student Worksheet  and students look skilled in using the logic pipe props, so students can find out for themselves the concepts of conjunction, disjunction, implications and implications. In addition, student learning outcomes that can be seen from the post test results are classified as having a high average where the average post test score of students is 83.00. From the average score obtained by students and the activeness of students in the learning process, it can be concluded that the logical pipe props are well used in learning mathematical logic material.
