Community Service Activities have been carried out in Kelapa Lima Village. This activity aims to provide information and knowledge to the public about the dangers of dengue hemorrhagic fever and its preventive measures through the use of potential mosquito repellent plants. Mosquito repellent plants can be found in the yard of the house so that the community can provide land in the yard of their house to plant these plants that have the potential to act as mosquito repellent. The method used in this service activity is in the form of counseling, training, and cultivating plants as an anti-mosquito agent that causes dengue hemorrhagic fever. The conclusion obtained is an increase in the knowledge of the public's understanding of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever, an increase in public understanding of the bio-ecology of the vector that causes dengue hemorrhagic fever, utilizing plants that have the potential to act as mosquito repellents.

ABSTRAK Deteksi Dini penyakit Dengue Haemoragic Fever di Dusun 1 Desa Sukabanjar Kecamatan Gedong Tataan Kabupaten Pesawaran Bandar Lampung belum dilakukan dengan baik di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Bernung. Hambatan yang ditemukan yakni pengetahuan kader kesehatan tidak adekuat, belum tersedianya informasi yang adekuat tentang deteksi dini penyakit dengue haemoragic fever (DBD) pada kader kesehatan. Pelibatan kader kesehatan dalam edukasi mengenai deteksi dini penyakit DBD menentukan keberhasilan dalam penanganan awal DBD. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan dalam pendampingan kader kesehatan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan peran kader kesehatan dalam masyarakat dalam deteksi dini DBD. Kegiatan dilakukan di Kantor Kelurahan Dusun 1 Desa Sukabanjar Kota Bandar Lampung pada bulan Desember 2018. Metode yang dilakukan yakni ceramah, diskusi, praktek cara  melakukan rumpled test. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini didapatkan peningkatan pengetahuan kader kesehatan tentang deteksi dini DBD. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan adalah bentuk upaya dalam deteksi dini DBD dengan melibatkan kader kesehatan. Kata Kunci : Deteksi Dini, Kader Kesehatan, Rumpled Test  ABSTRACT Early detection of dengue hemorrhagic fever in Dusun 1, Sukabanjar Village, Gedong Tataan Subdistrict, Pesawaran Regency, Bandar Lampung, has not been carried out properly in the Work Area of the Bernung Health Center. The obstacles found were inadequate knowledge of health cadres, inadequate information on early detection of dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) among health cadres. The involvement of health cadres in education regarding early detection of dengue disease determines the success in the initial handling of dengue. The purpose of community service activities carried out in mentoring health cadres is to increase knowledge and the role of health cadres in the community in the early detection of dengue fever. The activity was carried out at the Subdistrict Office of Dusun 1, Sukabanjar Village, Bandar Lampung City in December 2018. The methods used were lectures, discussions, practice on how to do a rumpled test. The results of this community service activity were found to increase the knowledge of health cadres about the early detection of dengue. Background: Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is still a major health problem in Indonesia. Community participation is a key component of DHF control. The group of schoolchildren is part of a group of people who can play a strategic role, considering the number is very much around 20% of the population. Through this Jumantik, the elementary school children are trained as a mosquito larva (jumantik) in their school. Objective: Establishment of larva monitoring group (Jumantik) and implementation of mosquito nest eradication activity at home and at school Method: A community service activity is conducted by recruiting and providing the training for Jumantik School Children and the teachers. Before the training, the students were given with the pre-test. After the training, the students followed the post-test and were given the mosquito eradication kit to undertake the mosquito larva monitoring at school and home. Result: As much as nine elementary students and three teachers were formed as jumantik volunteers from three different elementary schools namely Malewang, Palleko and Pangembang . The result of pre-test of 9 students, the average score of 8.67 (maximum points 15) with the highest score 11 and the lowest score 6. While the post test results obtained an average value of 11, 89 with the highest value 14 and the lowest value 10. The forms of activity for this program were: establishment of Jumatik school children, distribution of mosquito eradication kit, distribution of leaflet and stickers as the media of health promotion, provision of certificate of training of Jumantic school children and the teachers, the establishment of Plan of Action (POA) of the program and the production of second-hand good products. Conclusion and Suggestion: There are six activities that was implemented in this community service activity. It is suggested that the school to carry out routine activities according to the POA that has been agreed and the community health center can supervise the activity undertaken by the Jumantik school children. Keywords: Jumantik, Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever, school children, mosquito eradication

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a disease caused by the dengue virus which is transmitted through the bite of the Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquitoes. Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is caused by the dengue virus and is transmitted by the Aedes aegypti mosquito, which is characterized by a sudden fever of two to seven days without a clear cause, weakness or lethargy, restlessness, heartburn accompanied by signs of bleeding on the skin in the form of bleeding spots, bruising or rashes. sometimes nosebleeds, bloody stools, vomiting blood, decreased consciousness or shock. This PKM aims to provide detailed information about DHF and how to prevent DHF using lemon grass. After participating in this lesson, participants are expected to be able to understand what dengue is, the benefits of lemongrass and know how to plant lemongrass in their neighborhood. The method used in this research is to conduct counseling and distribute pretest and posttest. The results show that this community service program can increase students' knowledge by 64.3% related to the dangers of dengue fever, the benefits of lemongrass as a mosquito repellent plant and how to plant lemongrass correctly.

In Indonesia, currently they are still fighting the Corona / Covid 19 Virus, as well as in other countries. The number of cases affected by patients continues to grow. In several reports reported recovery, but not a few who died. Information dissemination aims to change people's attitudes, beliefs and behavior through providing information and raising awareness that a problem that arises can be overcome, especially in terms of preventing the transmission of Covid 19 through the selection and use of good and correct masks.Providing correct knowledge to the public can be done in various ways, one of which is by directly socializing the knowledge that will be given. This community service activity is carried out by extension methods, distributing information brochures, distributing masks and directly teaching the community how to use masks and choosing the right and good masks.After health education was carried out, the community understood and wanted to choose masks and use masks correctly. The public also understands the importance of taking preventive measures so as not to be infected or exposed to the Covid 19 virus.Health education activities should be carried out routinely by health workers in order to improve public health by changing people's life habits to be clean and healthy ones

Health is a healthy state, both physically, mentally, spiritually and socially that allows everyone to live productively socially and economically. Health development as one of the national developments designed for the achievement of awareness, willingness and ability to live healthy for every population to realize an optimal degree of public health. Self-medication is an attempt by someone to overcome a problem of illness or disease without prior agreement with a doctor or health worker. More than 60% of members of the public swarmed the legal basis Permenkes No.919 / MENKES / PER / X / 1993. Swamedication was more focused on handling quickly and effectively without prior intervention by medical consultants, pharmacists, to reduce the workload on the limited resources and labor. The target audience for this community service activity is 30 health cadres obtained through collaboration with the state visited by the health cadres to provide information and understanding to other community members in their neighborhoods. From this dedication activity obtained 1) Increased knowledge and understanding of health cadres about self-medication 2) Increased knowledge and understanding of health cadres about managing drugs in the household.

The number of Covid 19 cases is increasing and cannot be ignored considering the increase every day continues to increase. The impact of the Covid 19 pandemic has an impact on various fields, especially the economy. To avoid the increasing number of sufferers, the government limits activities that cause crowds, maintains distance and maintains hygenicity in the community in carrying out daily activities known as health protocol regulations. The behavior and actions of the community must change completely from the usual actions that are often carried out, for that it is necessary to have socialization on how to prevent the transmission of Covid 19 by implementing the health protocol that has been advised by the government. The purpose of this community service activity is to remind and help public understanding of the implementation of health protocols during the Covid 19 pandemic. The form of activities is in the form of counseling, giving hand sanitizers and masks. Lack of public awareness and knowledge about Covid-19 can be overcome by providing knowledge, through socialization about the importance of implementing this activity protocol in order to help people face New normal conditions, by helping people live by complying with health protocols. The results of the activity obtained the enthusiasm of the residents in following the activity until the end with the many questions asked. Suggestions for the Lebak Bandung Village to hold outreach activities about the prevention of Covid 19 in their environment because there are still many residents who do not understand about prevention which is only done

Public speaking skills for church community is very important in facing the new challenges in the digital age. Faculty of Social and Political Science Universitas Kristen Indonesia organized community service activity in the form of public speaking workshop to HKBP Karawang community member on Friday, 23 April 2021. The public speaking was conducted by the presentation and the simulation. After the training was completed, the participant filled the project satisfaction survey. The survey was analyzed using SPSS. There are several problems in the community with children in the fields of Education, Law and Health. There are still children under 18 years of age who are exploited as commercial sexual workers; children in conflict with the law, children aged 10-18 Years work in the informal sector, children who leave primary school before graduating or do not continue to the next level due to access and economy; adoption cases are carried out outside the standard population administration procedures; the discovery of stunted children. So, it is necessary to increase public understanding regarding child protection. One of those who have the responsibility of providing protection to children is the parent, the service program is carried out by providing material related to the role of parents and society in providing protection to children. The delivery of this material aims to provide an understanding of child protection in terms of education, law and health so that the public can understand the importance of protecting children. This service activity in Tambun Village can be said to be successful. There was a request from the participants to continue this activity. The people of Tambun Village hope that for further activities, further training is given regarding the skills needed by parents and the community. To increase community understanding, the WA Group was also created, whose members are parents who have participated in the Socialization program, this group aims to be a forum for communication between the Service Team and the local community.

Community service focuses on outreach activities regarding the urgency of the trademark for UMKM, especially in Sumberejo Village, East Lampung Regency. The community, especially the women of the recitation group in the village, started the business of making soap from the waste that was around them, namely used cooking oil. The soap product is expected to have a brand so that it will increase selling value, facilitate promotion, guarantee product quality, and show the origin of the product. The purpose of carrying out community service activities is to make the community economically empowered with products that have markings to distinguish goods produced in trading activities. The implementation of community service uses the lecture method to convey socialization material about the urgency of the trademark for UMKM, after that a discussion is held in the form of questions and answers with the audience. The output of this activity is to increase public understanding of the urgency of trademark  on products and the public to have registered trademark  for their products.
