This research conducted caused by students' score at class X MIPA 4 very low in the vector material. The avarage of score of the daily test obtained by students was 60,5 and it had not yet reached mastery learning. One of the efforts to improve learning outcomes was to use powerpoint as a learning media. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in activity and mathematics learning outcomes on vector material in learning using PowerPoint. This research design used the classroom action research. The research subjects were 36 students of class X MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Lubuklinggau in the 2019/2020 academic year. Data collected by using tests and observations. The test used to obtain student learning outcomes in each cycle, while observation used to determine the learning process in each cycle. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the average score of student learning outcomes in the first cycle was 62.2 and 77.3 in the second cycle. The percentage of student learning completeness in the first cycle was 52.8%, in the second cycle it was 80.6%. The percentage of improvement in student learning outcomes after being given action was 15.29%. So it can be concluded that learning mathematics by using powerpoint media can improve student learning outcomes in class X MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Lubuklinggau in the 2019/2020 academic year.

Kata kunci: Kecerdasan Emosional dan Prestasi Belajar Matematika The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence with mathematics learning achievement of VIII grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Palu. The population of this study is all students of VIII grade at SMP Negeri 8 Palu consisting of 5 classes. The sample was obtained by using random sampling technique. The total number of the sample was 44 students. The data collection used two instruments, namely, emotional intelligence questionnaire and documentation of learning achievement from the report card. The results of data analysis using product moment correlation test obtained correlation value r = 0.417. Value of rtable = 0,297 for N = 44 with significance level 5%. The value of rcount (0.417)> rtable (0.297) then decided to accept the alternative hypothesis (H1) and reject the initial hypothesis (H0). This means there is a positive and significant relationship between emotional intelligence and mathematics learning achievement of VIII grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Palu. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the ELPSA (Experiences, Language, Pictorial, Symbols, Application) learning design in terms of the mathematics learning outcomes at VIII grade student of SMPN 1 Utan on the material relations and functions in the academic year 2020/2021. The type of this research is experimental research with posttest only design. The research was conducted in 4 meetings with 3 meetings for the learning process using all ELPSA components and 1 meeting for the implementation of the posttest. The samples were determined by using cluster random sampling technique. The sample is class VIII-1A as an experimental class which is given treatment using the ELPSA learning design. Data collection using observation and test techniques. Instruments include: observation sheets and learning outcomes tests. Learning outcome data is used to find out how far students understand the material being taught and observation data is used to determine the implementation of learning which is analyzed descriptively. Indicators of the effectiveness of the ELPSA learning design, namely if student learning outcomes with a percentage of classical learning completeness of ≥85%. The results showed that there were 14 students who had completed their studies or equal to 87,50% and 2 students who did not complete their studies or 12,50% with an average grade obtained of 82,38. The results of observations of student with active criteria with a percentage of 74% and teacher activities with good criteria with a percentage of 71%.

This study aims to improve critical thinking skills and mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade students of SD Tingkir Tengah 02 Salatiga in the second semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. Critical thinking and learning outcomes are low because the teacher uses the lecture method. The author chooses the Open-Ended model assisted by powerpoint media as a solution. Research procedures include planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results showed an increase from the initial condition with 9 students or 25.71% completed and 29 students or 74.29% not complete. The implementation of the first cycle results obtained 29 students or 82.86% completed and 6 students or 17.14% did not complete. Cycle II as a follow-up and improvement of the first cycle with the acquisition of achieving attainment of 35 students or 100%. The results obtained by the conclusion of the application of Open-Ended learning assisted by powerpoint media can improve critical thinking skills and mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade students of SD Tingkir Tengah 02 Salatiga second semester of the 2018/2019 academic year.

The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between study habits and mathematics learning outcomes, the correlation between learning motivation and mathematics learning outcomes, and the correlation between learning habits and motivation to learn mathematics outcomes during online learning. The total population is 185 students and the sample size is 123 students with the sampling technique using the Slovin formula approach. Hypothesis testing using multiple regression analysis techniques, Pearson Correlation test, F test, and a coefficient of determination of 5%. Learning habits and motivation are measured by a questionnaire that has been declared valid by the validator and has been tested for validity and reliability on 60 respondents outside the research subject. Data collection to measure learning habits and motivation is done by distributing questionnaires, while for student achievement it is obtained from documentation of math scores. The results showed that: there was a positive and significant correlation between study habits and students' mathematics learning outcomes. The correlation between the two is moderately correlated; there is a positive and significant correlation between learning motivation and student outcomes in mathematics. The correlation between the two is strongly correlated; there is a positive and significant correlation between study habits and learning motivation with students' mathematics learning outcomes. The correlation between the two is strongly correlated. The contribution of study habits and learning motivation simultaneously to mathematics learning outcomes is 30.7%, while 69.3% is influenced by other factors not examined by the researchers in this study.
