Research of development that held to produce student worksheet (SWS) based on valid inquiry, practice, and effective to complete courses of chemistry learning strategy. The method that used is research of development. The research used consists of four steps, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate, because the limit of time and cost, research just used until to development step. Data of research collected through evaluation sheets filled by validator. Internal validation of SWS describe that SWS writing contain indicators assessment, writing use capital letters, the distance between topic letter with information letter was different, but still used more than 10 words in line. For contain assessment can used by students with various understanding, yet include steps to find, but give various activities (read, discuss, and answer). SWS give opportunities to find different information because instruction that used in exercise requires students to read paper and another book. This activity can develop social and emotional relation, because students werediscuss in their group. Language that used has same with intellectual level of students. Format assessment describe that SWS have a title, purpose, resume, work steps, questions and include reference, also table. It requires students to implement the examples in learning activity.

Abstract Development research has been carried out to produce teaching materials for basic chemistry learning materials based on STEM in a wetland context to improve scientific literacy that is valid, practical, and effective. This type of research is Research and Development (R & R&D) with a 4D development model modified into 3D (define, design, and develop). The trial of the developed teaching materials was carried out in a class in the first Basic Chemistry course consisting of 28 students. Data collection techniques used validation sheets, readability questionnaires, response questionnaires, observation sheets, and scientific literacy tests. Data analysis used descriptive analysis. The results showed that the developed teaching materials had met the following criteria: (1) Valid; judging from the value of the feasibility aspects of content, presentation, language, and media, each of which obtained very valid criteria. (2) Practical; reviewed from the results of the readability of teaching materials in individual and small group tests, the criteria are practical and very practical. Students’ responses to teaching materials have very practical criteria, and observations of the ability of teachers to use teaching materials and manage their respective classes get very good criteria. (3) Effective, seen from the results of the N-gain scientific literacy showing a high increase. With the results of this development, it can be said that the STEM-based teaching materials for basic chemistry learning to improve scientific literacy in the context of wetlands are suitable as teaching materials.

This study aimed to improve the activity and learning outcome of the eighth grade students of Al-Ulum Islamic school Medan through the TAPPS learning strategy based on STEM education. The research method was a  classroom action research as much as two cycles. Each cycle consisted of 4 stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data analysis technique was a descriptive analysis model. Data collection methods were observation and tests. The results showed that the implementation of using the STEM-based TAPPS learning strategy could improve learning activity  of the eighth grade student of Al-Ulum Islamic school Medan on the subject of geometry flat side (Bangun Ruang Sisi Datar). This was shown by the percentage of group activity of students in the cycle  I was 50.71% or in a good category, the percentage of student group activity in the cycle II was 85.04% or in an excellent category. Thus, the enhancement of  students' learning activity  using the TAPPS learning strategy based on STEM education could  also improve students' learning outcome. This was shown by the percentage of learning mastery in the cycle I was 65,6255% or in the criteria of learning mastery was achieved but it was still classified as low and the percentage of learning mastery, in the cycle II was 90,625% or in the criteria of leaening mastery was achieved. The conclusion of this study is the use of TAPPS-based STEM education learning strategy can improve the activity and learning outcome of students. Practicum is a form of learning activity relates to assessment, which is part of a series of learning processes. Assessment in practicum not only consists of cognitive aspects but also emphasizes affective and psychomotor aspects. Psychomotor is a domain related to skills or ability to act after receiving learning experiences. An authentic assessment of the psychomotor domain is needed to determine each student learns and apply their learning outcomes into life. The study aimed to determine the procedure for developing an authentic assessment instrument of the psychomotor domain for physics learning on measurement material in class X SMA and describe the teacher's assessment toward the developed the authentic assessment instrument. The study used Dick and Carey developmental model consisted of ten stages. They are (1) analysis the learning objectives, (2) learning analysis, (3) analysis of students and their environment, (4) formulating specific objectives, (5) developing assessment instruments, (6) developing learning strategy, (7) developing and selecting learning materials, (8) formative evaluation, (9) revision, and (10) summative evaluation. But, the article used only nine of ten stages. The validation sheet was assessed by two expert lecturers. The product of the psychomotor assessment instrument was validated by two expert lecturers through 2 revisions. The developed instrument was tested in small groups, namely class X MIA 7, SMA N 1 Muaro Jambi. The validation obtained a total score of 136. Means, the score included in the category of 136 ≤ N <150: "Very Good." The teacher's responses were 82% of very good (positive). In short, the developed instrument was feasible to continue to trial steps. The trial to 10 students obtained a mean of 82.1. Based on the range of student scores, seven students were classified as highly skilled, and three students were classified as skilled. Based on results and discussion, it concluded that authentic assessment instruments of the psychomotor domain for the physics learning on measurement materials were feasible to use for teacher class of class X MIA in SMA N 1 Muaro Jambi.

This study aims to improve student achievement in Aqidah Akhlak subjects, especially KD Understanding Sufism. The assessment of this Sufism material is not only in the realm of knowledge (cognitive) but includes the entire domain of attitude (there is a change in attitude) and skills (application of religious understanding) for each student. That's why researchers formulate strategies that can generate student achievement, where in this learning activity, apart from being able to achieve all the aspects that are expected, students are also able to instill social traits in each of them. The learning strategy offered is cooperative learning (Cooperative Learning Strategy), namely by using the Team Games Tournament (TGT) type. Conducted in class XI IPS1 MAN 1 Jombang. This research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of two face-to-face meetings. Before carrying out the research action, the researcher conducted a pre-test in the class being studied (before the implementation of cooperative learning strategies, in this pret test the results obtained by students on this material with an average of 79. Furthermore, after the cooperative learning model through the TGT type (Teams Games Tournaments) then in the second cycle obtained an average learning completeness of 84, and in the third cycle the increase in the average score became 95, very significant. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Aqidah Akhlak khususnya KD Memahami Tasawuf. Penilaian pada materi tasawuf ini bukan hanya padah ranah pengetahuan (kognitif) melainkan mencakup seluruh ranah sikap (ada perubahan sikap) dan Ketrampilan (penerapan pemahaman religi) pada setiap siswa. Karena itulah peneliti merumuskan strategi yang dapat membangkitkan prestasi belajar siswa, dimana dalam kegiatan pembelajaran ini selain mampu mencapai seluruh aspek yang diharapkan siswa juga mampu menanamkan sifat social dalam diri mereka masing-masing. Strategi pembelajaran yang ditawarkan adalah pembelajaran kooperatif (Cooperative Learning Strategy), yaitu dengan menggunakan tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT). Dilakukan pada kelas XI IPS1 MAN 1 Jombang. Penelitian dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran cooperative learning melalui tipe TGT (Teams Games Tournaments) ini dilakukan dalam dua kali siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari dua kali pertemuan tatap muka. Sebelum melakukan tindakan penelitian, peneliti melakukan pre test terlebih dahulu pada kelas yang diteliti (sebelum diterapkannya strategi pembelajaran kooperatif, pada pret test ini didapatkan hasil nilai yang didapat siswa pada materi ini dengan rata-rata 79. Selanjutnya setelah model pembelajaran cooperative learning melalui tipe TGT (Teams Games Tournaments) maka pada siklus kedua diperoleh rata-rata ketruntasan belajar 84, dan pada siklus ke tiga peningkatan nilai rata-rata mejadi 95, sangat signifikan.


This study aims to examine the effectiveness of interactive entrepreneurship activity in mathematics learning towards students’ mastery in mathematics concepts. The objective is to look at the impact of implementing an active learning strategy combined with technology on mastery of mathematics concepts after engaging in a learning activity. The combination of technology in interactive learning and games kits in the form of interactive entrepreneurship activity has resulted in the innovation of learning strategies to enhance the learning interest, enjoyment and to influence the mastery of students' mathematics concepts. The effectiveness study of the strategy was conducted using an experimental study design that involved 109 students from 2 secondary schools who had participated in a 4-week mathematics learning treatment session. The experiment group was exposed to interactive entrepreneurship activity through the use of a learning kit while the control group followed conventional learning for a selected mathematics topic. Post-test were conducted to see differences in understanding and achievement of mathematics concepts for both groups of students. The results show that there is a significant difference between the mastery of mathematics concept of the experiment group students and the control group students. This shows that the integration of technology in learning activities has a positive impact on student learning. The implications of the study indicate that teachers need to constantly improve pedagogical knowledge based on current technological developments and improve teaching strategies in order to improve student competencies. The parties also need to provide the latest technology to improve the quality of education in line with global developments.

<p>The study buddy is a learning strategy employed in a graduate distance course to promote informal peer reviewing of assignments before submission. This strategy promotes student-student interaction and helps break the social isolation of distance learning. Given the concern by Arum and Roksa (2011) that student-student interaction may be distracting from instead of contributing to academic achievement it was felt important to examine the way peer interaction can contribute to learning in a well-structured collaborative learning activity. This mixed-methods study (n=31) examined both quantitative and qualitative aspects of student perceptions of the study buddy activity. While quantitative findings regarding depth of processing were inconclusive due to the small and homogeneous sample, qualitative analysis showed very high levels of learner support for the activity as well as evidence that the activity encouraged learners to approach their learning with greater depth. 88% of study buddies said they found the activity well worth their time, and would recommend it for other graduate courses. It is thought with greater scaffolding, the quality of buddy feedback might be improved. The few who did not appreciate the activity felt let down by a lack of buddy commitment to the process.</p>

The expansion of online nursing education with learner-centered pedagogy provides opportunity to build knowledge as well as demonstrate caring toward learners. A learning strategy using a criterion-based critique model is presented as an exemplar of a caring learning activity. Nursing as caring theory is critiqued using the model as a didactic tool. This application stimulates aesthetic knowing for learners and demonstrates respect and value for learners’ contribution to nursing knowledge.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan hasil belajar kimia siswa yang diajarkan dengan Strategi Pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray dibandingkan Teams Games Tournament dengan media Power Point, pada pokok bahasan Larutan Elektrolit dan Nonelektrolit. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas X MAN 2 Model Medan, yang berjumlah11 kelas dan setiap kelas terdiri dari 36 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 2 kelas yang diambil secara acak. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes hasil belajar dalam bentuk pilihan berganda dengan jumlah soal sebanyak 22 soal yang telah dinyatakan valid dan reliabel serta lembar observasi tanggung jawab. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan Hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan strategi pembelajaran TSTS dengan media Power Point dibandingkan siswa yang diajar dengan kooperatif tipe TGT dengan media Power Point (sig. 0,480 > 0,05).   This study aimed to determine the differences of the increase in student chemistry learning outcomes taught with the Two Stay Two Stray Learning Strategy compared to the Teams Games Tournament with PowerPoint media on Electrolyte and Nonelectrolyte Solutions subjects. The population in this study was all the first grade students in MAN 2 Medan with 11 classes and each class consisted of 36 students. The samples in this study were 2 classes taken randomly. The instrument used in this study was a test of learning outcomes in the form of multiple choices with 22 questions that have been declared valid and reliable as well as the observation sheet of responsibility. The results showed that there were no significant differences of student learning outcomes taught with TSTS learning strategies with PowerPoint media compared to students taugh with a cooperative TGT type with PowerPoint media (sig. 0.480> 0.05).

The purpose of this study was to determine the difference of implementation the Course Review Horay (CRH) model on learning activities of students grade X SMA Negeri 1 Muntilan, academic year 2017/2018 in nomenclature of chemical compounds material. This research is an experimental research. Population of this study was all class X students of  SMA Negeri 1 Muntilan on 2017/2018 school year, with a total of 7 classes. Samples were taken by purposive sampling technique consist of 2 classes. Data collection techniques used non-test methods. Form of assessment used are observation sheets. Data analysis techniques using the Mann Whitney-U test. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded: There was different of  chemistry learning with the CRH model on student learning activities in Nomerclature of Chemical Compounds material.

This study aims to examine strategies used by Islamic education teachers to increase learning interest and practice of Islamic education on students of SMPN 1 Lanrisang, Pinrang. Increasing interest to study and practice Islamic education course on public school’s students is important for academics and practitioners. Therefore, a proper design of learning strategies is needed to increase interest and practice of the course. This article employed a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach by looking at the phenomena in the field. The results of interview and data analysis show some factors causing students’ low interest in learning Islamic education, including students’ low awareness during the learning activity, memorization system and indoctrination, tight schedule, national exam, a monotone learning strategy, and lack of family support. In addition, students seldom perform worship of mahdhah, while they often perform mu’âmalah. To increase the learning interest, the teachers of SMPN 1 Lanrisang used specific learning strategies such as lecture, debate, role-play, simulation, demonstration, contextual-based, problem-based, habituation and togetherness.
