The education sector is subject to significant changes due to the increasingly active spread of digital technologies. Usually, the trends in the implementation of digital technologies in educational and research activities are set by commercial organizations – private universities, business schools, corporate universities. But public universities and institutions start to think more and more about digital transformation. However, evolutionary path of universities’ digitization was destroyed by the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19). It was decided to completely close universities, all students started to study from home. In this paper, we aimed to start a discussion about distance learning satisfaction among professors and lecturers; understand their vision about e-learning and the current stage of universities’ digitization. After examination of the current state of university digitization, we have identified major problems which become an obstacle during pandemic.

Evolving digital technologies are infiltrating schools wave after wave. The changes taking place are viewed as the schools’ digital renewal process (SDRP). The SDRP is complex (multidimensional). It includes changes in the educational environment (physical and virtual), the educational process, and the way the school operates. The SDRP goes uneven, with individual schools at different stages. One-time observation of the SDRP allows you to fix its current state (statics). The longitudinal observations allows you to see changes in the schools’ digital renewal (kinematics). The connection of the observed changes with the impact on the general education system makes it possible to discuss the development of digital renewal under the influence of individual control actions (dynamics). The stages of penetration of digital technologies into the work of the school: computerization, early and mature informatization, digital transformation (transition to the “Smart School”) can be considered as the stages of maturity of the SDRP. The article discusses a framework for describing the processes of digital renewal of schools in an evolving digital environment and an assessment of the SDRP’s maturity.

There is increasing implementation of digital technologies in construction. However, the transformation effects encompassing digital technology implementation are yet to be fully comprehended within the context of construction. Therefore, this study was aimed to provide a holistic understanding of digital transformation in construction. The study drew on extant literature by studying 36 journal publications published between 2016 when digital transformation emerged in construction from the information systems field and 2020. This led to the development of an inductive framework using a grounded theory methodology (GTM) to highlight digital transformation in construction as a process where the implementation of digital technologies creates transformation effects that trigger strategic considerations for putting in place the enablers that facilitate transformation effects and for suppressing the barriers to it. Building on the framework, this study described and presented the strategic considerations for facilitating specific enablers and those for suppressing specific barriers as digital transformation guideline in construction. This study demonstrated how the implementation of digital technologies has increased the understanding of and provided the basis for digital transformation in construction.

This article presents our e-learning, e-test, examinations, certificates and online positioning tests for the benefit of establishments at Hassan II Mohammedia Casablanca University. This platform meets three needs: the integration of new Internet and Web technologies in teaching and research activities to improve their quality, the production of digital educational resources and services accessible to students and teachers, and rationalization of human resources, material and logistical resources. The application of a two-dimensional approach: pedagogy centered on learners and technique based on a Web architecture, guaranteed us a simple, effective, reusable, extensible and interoperable e-learning solution. Our platform can easily be extended to all Moroccan universities. Our platform exploits the economic and functional advantages brought by digital technologies in educational contexts. It provides an effective solution to the problems of increasing student enrollment and insufficient resources. The E-Test solution also made it possible to increase the productivity of the university by setting up a rapid process allowing to take online exams, significantly reducing vacation costs and reducing room overload. .
