The analysis shows that the degree of implementation of digital technologies differs in different countries, with Russia significantly lagging behind the leading countries. The purpose of the research is to analyze the current state of digitalization of agriculture, identify problems of its development in the process of digital transformation of the agricultural economy and ways to solve them. The factors that hinder the digitalization of agriculture are highlighted. These are limiting grain production and difficult to predict, psychological barriers and insufficient training (including IT specialists), the availability of investment, the multidimensional component of production, and the availability of digital infrastructure. The solutions of selected problems are proposed: installation of local weather stations; training of IT specialists in the agriculture and learning agricultural workers the skills to work with modern technology; creating a single portal for farmers, with the possibility of exchanging information; improving the information infrastructure; creating strategies to implementing digital technologies.

Evolving digital technologies are infiltrating schools wave after wave. The changes taking place are viewed as the schools’ digital renewal process (SDRP). The SDRP is complex (multidimensional). It includes changes in the educational environment (physical and virtual), the educational process, and the way the school operates. The SDRP goes uneven, with individual schools at different stages. One-time observation of the SDRP allows you to fix its current state (statics). The longitudinal observations allows you to see changes in the schools’ digital renewal (kinematics). The connection of the observed changes with the impact on the general education system makes it possible to discuss the development of digital renewal under the influence of individual control actions (dynamics). The stages of penetration of digital technologies into the work of the school: computerization, early and mature informatization, digital transformation (transition to the “Smart School”) can be considered as the stages of maturity of the SDRP. The article discusses a framework for describing the processes of digital renewal of schools in an evolving digital environment and an assessment of the SDRP’s maturity.

There is increasing implementation of digital technologies in construction. However, the transformation effects encompassing digital technology implementation are yet to be fully comprehended within the context of construction. Therefore, this study was aimed to provide a holistic understanding of digital transformation in construction. The study drew on extant literature by studying 36 journal publications published between 2016 when digital transformation emerged in construction from the information systems field and 2020. This led to the development of an inductive framework using a grounded theory methodology (GTM) to highlight digital transformation in construction as a process where the implementation of digital technologies creates transformation effects that trigger strategic considerations for putting in place the enablers that facilitate transformation effects and for suppressing the barriers to it. Building on the framework, this study described and presented the strategic considerations for facilitating specific enablers and those for suppressing specific barriers as digital transformation guideline in construction. This study demonstrated how the implementation of digital technologies has increased the understanding of and provided the basis for digital transformation in construction.

Аbstract. The current state of the implementation of digital technologies in Ukraine and the world in the context of the information economy development is studied. The key differences are identified, the need for systematic action at both regional and national levels for the effective implementation of digitalization is substantiated. Data on the level of the digital economy development in Ukraine in general, and in the regions in particular, as well as examples of successful implementation of digitalization in some countries, are presented. It is investigated that Ukraine is one of the first places in Europe in terms of population with the Internet access. It is established that the process of digitalization of Ukraine’s economy is qualitatively different from that in developed countries. In the context of rapid development of information economy in order to bridge the existing gap with developed countries in the digitalization process, Ukraine needs to implement a number of measures, including: creating a regulatory framework for digital economy, introducing and promoting digital platforms and services for business and population, establishing education systems in order to effectively train specialists in the digital age, creating an effective digital infrastructure, promoting the implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies in industry, etc.  The implementation of the proposed actions will bring Ukraine closer to the digitalization level of developed countries and increase social and economic development of the state. The article outlines the components of digital transformation of the regions of Ukraine, among which the emphasis is on creating an effective digital infrastructure; the introduction of Industry 4.0 technologies in industry; e-government and training of the workforce according to the requirements of digital economy. It is noted that the digitalization process should be systemic in nature at both national and regional levels. AbstractIn this interview, Werner Dorfmeister, a Vice President at DasLab and a former Global Sales Director at Karl Storz, reports on the current developments of digital technologies in the field of medical instruments and services. It is a sector where digitalization affects all processes within hospitals as well as pre- and post-surgical activities. Due to the many actors involved, who use different information systems, and the strong regulation of the entire healthcare sector, crafting digital solutions is complex, but nevertheless promising and necessary. Among the key areas mentioned in the interview are telemedicine, hospital and patient management and a sector-wide digital infrastructure. platforms are described as important enablers to address current inefficiencies and to leverage future potentials towards patient-orientation, such as digital patient pathways.

The education sector is subject to significant changes due to the increasingly active spread of digital technologies. Usually, the trends in the implementation of digital technologies in educational and research activities are set by commercial organizations – private universities, business schools, corporate universities. But public universities and institutions start to think more and more about digital transformation. However, evolutionary path of universities’ digitization was destroyed by the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19). It was decided to completely close universities, all students started to study from home. In this paper, we aimed to start a discussion about distance learning satisfaction among professors and lecturers; understand their vision about e-learning and the current stage of universities’ digitization. After examination of the current state of university digitization, we have identified major problems which become an obstacle during pandemic.
