  En la presente investigación se evaluaron aspectos de la gestión de calidad y mejora continua de procesos con el objeto de alcanzar la excelencia institucional, realizando un análisis de los procesos de asignación y ejecución presupuestaria de proyectos de investigación de la Escuela Superior Politécnica Agropecuaria de Manabí “Manuel Félix López” (ESPAM MFL). La presente investigación se desarrolló a partir de una metodología no experimental con el propósito de examinar los procedimientos enmarcados dentro de los procesos de asignación y ejecución presupuestaria de proyectos de investigación, en donde se aplicaron los métodos inductivo y deductivo para conocer a fondo la situación actual del problema que ayudaron a detectar las inconsistencias existentes, entre esta se encuentra análisis del valor añadido (AVA), a fin de conocer el índice de valor de cada proceso, con un 50% de eficiencia para el proceso de definición de presupuesto para ejecutar proyectos de investigación, consecuentemente revelo un 40% de eficiencia para el proceso de redistribución de presupuesto para ejecución de proyectos, mientras que el proceso de ejecución oportuna y planificada de los recursos de los proyectos de investigación y su cumplimiento en el cronograma reflejo un 41.66% de eficiencia en su ejecución, mostrando parámetros relativamente bajos los cuales dan apertura a una propuesta de acciones correctivas en la restructuración de los procesos, para la obtención de optimización de los recursos y la búsquedas de mejores resultados, con el objeto de mejorar continuamente y contribuir a la consolidación de la excelencia académica e institucional.   Palabras clave: Análisis de valor añadido, gestión por proceso, restructuración, mejora continua, gestión de calidad.   ABSTRACTIn this research, aspects of quality management and continuous improvement of processes were evaluated in order to achieve institutional excellence, carrying out an analysis of the budget allocation and execution processes of research projects of the Escuela Superior Politécnica Agropecuaria de Manabí “ Manuel Félix López ”(ESPAM MFL). This research was developed from a non-experimental methodology with the purpose of examining the procedures framed within the budget allocation and execution processes of research projects, where inductive and deductive methods were applied to fully understand the current situation. of the problem that helped to detect existing inconsistencies, among this is added value analysis (AVA), in order to know the value index of each process, with 50% efficiency for the budget definition process to execute projects of research, consequently I reveal a 40% efficiency for the budget redistribution process for project execution, while the process of timely and planned execution of the research project resources and their fulfillment in the schedule reflects a 41.66% of efficiency in its execution, showing relatively low parameters which give opening to a proposal for corrective actions in the restructuring of processes, to obtain optimization of resources and the search for better results, in order to continuously improve and contribute to the consolidation of academic and institutional excellence.   Keywords: Value-added analysis, process management, restructuring.

The study aimed to conduct a cost-value analysis of the production process of a newly introduced batch of external doors in the context of value-added creation and to identify redundant processes that do not create added value and for which appropriate corrective actions could contribute to their elimination. The result of applying improvement actions following the lean management concept was the optimization time nationalized analyzed by eliminating, among others, operations related to unnecessary transport and storage of products. In addition, the optimization production process impacted both shortening the process implementation time and reducing the costs of its implementation. Further activities will be related to the use of the presented methodology to analyze the processes implemented in the company in order to increase their efficiency.

ABSTRACTAgroindustry is an agriculture based industry that has an important role in economic growth in Indonesia. One of the agricultural subsector is horticultural crops, namely onion. The need for onion consumption in Indonesia has always increased. In the Bengkulu city there is a company engaged in the industry of fried onions are "UD. Safari Bawang Goreng". This research is done with consideration of the company has long standing, big enough company, and produce about 336 kg/day. Fried onions are processed products that are processed from the main source of raw material is onion. The processed onion comes from Brebes Java. To know the process can be done by the method of observation, and participation. Processed red onion products produce added value that can be analyzed by Hayami method. The process of onion processing into fried onions consists of several stages, namely the provision of raw materials, onion gaebage, sorting, slicing onion, affixing onion with flour, frying, pressing, packaging. The process of onion treatment into fried onions is called value added. The added value obtained in this study amounted to Rp 9549.65 / Kg BB.Keywords: Fried Onion, Hayami Method, Added Value.

The purpose of this study was to calculate the financial analysis of seaweed cultivation operation and count the number of value-added processing karaginan flour mill in the District of Southeast Maluku Regency Kei Kecil. The method used in this study is descriptive with qualitative and quantitative approaches. Determination of the location of the study was conducted purposively with its population was seaweed farmers from ten villages in Kei Kecil as the villages of seaweed production centers. The method of analysis used is the operation analysis of financial and added value analysis method Hayami. The results showed that the cultivation of seaweed and flour mills karaginan feasible to develop. The ratio of added value of 9.05% and in 1997 Hubeis magnitude of the ratio of value added is calculated in accordance with the criteria of low added value ratio <15%.Keywords: Financial Analysis, Added-value, Seaweed, Flour Caragenan

ABSTRACT The research conducted in home industry “Kanaan” in Tuak Daun Merah District of Oebobo Sub-district in Kupang City in July 2019 aims to the amount of revenue, cost of production, profit and loss reports and value added of the maize processing business in the “Kanaan” Home Industry. The determination of the research area was intentionally carried out (Purposive) and the research method used was the case study method. Primary data was collected through interviews, the collected data was analyzed descriptively, followed by an analysis of revenue, profit and loss account using the full-cost method and added value analysis. The results showed that the Kanaan home industry achieved an income of in July 2019 from each unit of production of 350 gr spicy fried corn in the amount of Rp27,300,000, - for 25 gr spicy fried corn in the amount of Rp23,520,000, while the balado fried corn in size 25 gr in the amount of Rp 11,760,000, - and for the profit of fried corn in the Canaan Home Industry in July 2019, namely 350 grams of spicy fried corn in the amount of Rp 17,174,226,- on the other hand25 grams of spicy fried corn in the amount of Rp 13,094,372, while the fried corn balado size of 25 gr amount to Rp5,684,699, - of processed corn products. The added value in July 2019 was Rp 13.242,-/kg with an added value of 51% for large-packed of spicy fried maize, an added value for small-packed of spicy fried maize was Rp 9,657-/kg with the added-value ratio of 43.11%, while the added value for small packaged of balado fried maize was Rp 8.857,-/kg with an added value ratio of 39.58%.

Crowdfunding (CF) is considered to be an innovative source of funding, and research into its effects on CF participants is being conducted from many different angles. In our article, we propose a qualitative analysis of CF’s impact on creating added value for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). This paper is a conceptual study based on the theory of value co-creation, the Norton–Kaplan value model, and the concept of economic value added (EVA) to identify the areas (perspectives) of business activity where crowdfunding may stimulate the growth of company value. Based on the map of co-relations in crowdfunding that we have created, we propose a new model of crowdfunding value analysis from the entrepreneur’s point of view. Our research demonstrates that crowdfunding not only presents an alternative financing option, but also affects all perspectives relevant to value creation. As compared to the existing literature, this analysis is the most comprehensive take on the importance of crowdfunding for increasing the value of small and medium enterprises to date, thus offering a material contribution to the fuller understanding of crowdfunding from the financial standpoint, as well as pointing to the importance of crowdfunding as a financing method influencing sustainable decision-making by small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The added value of the study is the proposed method of analysing the impact of CF on the value of enterprises by using the Norton–Kaplan model and EVA.

This study aimed to analyze the raw material procurement system based on six components, the performance and the added value of the palm sago agro-industry in Natar subdistrict of South Lampung Regency. The research was a case study in which location was chosen purposively in four Sago Aren Agroindustries by considerating that there were only four agro-industries that were still actively producing sugar palm sago in that area. The reseach data collection was conducted in March - April 2018 and analyzed by qualitative and quantitative descriptive and added value analysis. The results showed that the six components of raw material procurement namely time, place, quality, organization, quantity, and price in Sago Aren of Adi Putra, Oblak, and Surahmat Agroindustries were appropriate because they have been in line with expectations. There was still a component of material procurement standards that have not been matched or did not in line with the expectation in Kartim Agroindustry namely quantity. Production performance in the Sago Aren Agroindustries could be classified as good, because four of the five indicators in production performance namely productivity, capacity, quality, and speed of delivery were appropriate, while indicators of flexibility in the four sago palm agroindustry was not optimal, and the four sago palm agroindustry was feasible because it provided positive added value. Key words: sagu aren, performance, value added

The value-added analysis is one of the most important investors instruments in determining the type and level of technology that will be used in the production process. The Food products added-value analysis of food products calculate the product added value due to the addition of technology types and or levels in the food processing process. The value-added analysis method used to analyze fresh edamame in this research was Hayami and Kawagoe. Edamame post-harvest processing is an important critical point in the production of fresh edamame. Abiotic contamination, presence of pesticide residues, vitamin C oxidation,  food fiber ingredients, sensory value, and color stability in post-harvest handling are some of the quality criteria that are important to be met. This research aim was to compare the fresh edamame value-added products handling using ozonated water technology with chlorine disinfection that has previously been used. Based on the research results, the added value of edamame minimal processing with ozone was  145 IDR/kg higher than chlorine processing. The addition of 45 IDR/kg as ozone technology effort investment in the edamame minimal processing has increased the edamame value-added ratio by 0.19%.

Business Process Analysis can be used to eliminate or reduce a waste cost caused by non value added activities that exist in a process. This research aims at evaluating activities carried out in the natural material procurement process in the PT XYZ, calculating the effectiveness of the process cycle, finding a way to improve the process management, and calculating the cost reduction that can achieved by activity management. A case study was the approach of this research. The researcher obtained research data throughout deep interviews with the staff who directly involved in the process, observation, and documentation of natural material procurement. The result of this study show that the effectiveness of the process cycle of natural material procurement in the factory reached as much as 87,1% for the sand material and 72% for the crushed stone. This indicates that the process still carry activities with no added value and still contain ineffective costs. Through the Business Process Mechanism, these non value added activities can be managed so that the process cycle becomes more efficient and cost effectiveness is achieved. The result of the effective cycle calculation after the management activities implementation is 100%. This means that the cost of natural material procurement process has become effective. The result of calculation of the estimated cost reduction as a result of management activity is as much as Rp249.026.635,90 per year.

This study aims to compare financial performance through profitability generated by two market participants in the witness transportation service industry in Jakarta, namely PT. BB compared to PT. ETU, this assessment is measured not limited to the profit generated but more than that by measuring financial added value through the concept of Eonomic Value Added produced by the two companies. The population in this study were all taxi transportation service companies in Jakarta. The sampling method selected two taxi companies that have the largest market share in DKI Jakarta, namely BB Taxi and ETU Taxi. The test analysis used in this study is ratio analysis through profit calculation and economic added value from the annual income statement. This study shows that there are (a) determination of the ratio of profit levels, (b) Determination of the comparison of economic value added of the two companies. Abstract Data resources at the European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI, https://www.ebi.ac.uk/) archive, organize and provide added-value analysis of research data produced around the world. This year's update for EMBL-EBI focuses on data exchanges among resources, both within the institute and with a wider global infrastructure. Within EMBL-EBI, data resources exchange data through a rich network of data flows mediated by automated systems. This network ensures that users are served with as much information as possible from any search and any starting point within EMBL-EBI’s websites. EMBL-EBI data resources also exchange data with hundreds of other data resources worldwide and collectively are a key component of a global infrastructure of interconnected life sciences data resources. We also describe the BioImage Archive, a deposition database for raw images derived from primary research that will supply data for future knowledgebases that will add value through curation of primary image data. We also report a new release of the PRIDE database with an improved technical infrastructure, a new API, a new webpage, and improved data exchange with UniProt and Expression Atlas. Training is a core mission of EMBL-EBI and in 2018 our training team served more users, both in-person and through web-based programmes, than ever before.
