Abstract This study is to determine the effect of financial literacy on consumer behavior by using a quantitative approach. The subjects of this research were students of the Accounting Study Program Department of Accounting, STAN State Polytechnic who are representatives of generation Z. Descriptive and regression to analyze. The results are, (1) the level of student financial literacy is 62%, (2) financial literacy has a significant negative effect on consumer behavior. Thus, the generation Z consumptive behavior can be minimized through increased financial literacy.

This study aims to analyze the influence of hedonism and religiosity on the consumptive behavior of students at the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, State Islamic Institute of Bukittinggi, West Sumatera, Indonesia. The population in this studi was 3,900 students and the sample was 363 of them that were selected by using the cluster sampling techniques. The results showed that hedonism has a positive influence on the consumptive behavior of students, it means that the higher of the level of hedonism, the higher the consumptive behavior of students. Meanwhile, religiosity was found to have the negative effect on the consumptive behavior of students, its meant that the higher the level of religious students, the lower the consumptive behavior of students, this study suggests that hedonism and religiosity explain variations in student consumer behavior by 64.5%, while the remaining 35.5% % is explained by other variables not explored in this study. This finding shows that to manage consumption properly, students must control their hedonism and increase their level of religiosity so that they will far from consumptive habits.

Research on the impact of VAT literacy on consumptive behavior has not been studied in Indonesia. Most studies link financial literacy to consumptive behavior. To find out whether VAT literacy has an effect on consumptive behavior, this study uses simple linear regression analysis. The validity and reliability of the questionnaire instrument was confirmed first, which resulted that all questions on the questionnaire were valid and reliable. Then, the classical assumption test was carried out to ensure that the linear regression model was reliable which concluded that the data were normally distributed and there was no heteroscedasticity. Simple linear regression analysis shows that the predictor has a negative and significant effect on the consumptive behavior of Generation Z. The coefficient value of -1.130 indicates that an increase in VAT literacy by 1 point will reduce the consumptive behavior of Generation Z by 1.130 points. In other words, someone who knows and understands the VAT regulations will have the potential to reduce the consumption of goods and services.

The approach used in this research is quantitative approach. The object of this research is PT BRISyariah, Tbk. The research used quarterly period annual report of PT BRISyariah Tbk since 2011-2018 and data from OJK. The data analyzed by multiple linear regression and completed by a classic assumption and descriptive statistics. Hypotheses test used t-statistic and f-statistic at level significance 5%. The result has shown that FDR and NPF variables has no effect significant to ROA. While BOPO has a significant negative effect to ROA. The value of coefficient determination showed that the result is 82% of the variation of the dependent variable can be explained by the independent variables in the model. While the reduce 18% is explained by other causes that are not included in the model.

Academic dishonesty is still a concern of researchers in various parts of the world. this is because there are still many academicians doing this unethical behavior. We examine how Grit plays a role in academic dishonesty. Does grit guarantee students not to commit academic dishonesty? A quantitative approach is used in this research. A total of 408 students in Indonesia participated (M = 95; F = 313). The measuring instrument used is the Academic Dishonesty Scale adapted from Ampuni et, al (2019) with α = 0.860 and the Grit Scale for Children and Adult used by Wahidah (2019) with α = 0.727. The results show that Grit has a significant negative effect on academic dishonesty. The more gritty, the lower the academic dishonesty will be. We also discuss the implications in relation to education

Consumptive behavior is actions taken to fulfill various types of human needs. If consumption is carried out excessively and not just based on needs, then it is not a reasonable consumption anymore, but it has become a consumptive behavior. Millennials are considered as the most consumptive generation, especially online shopping and prioritizing short-term needs rather than long-term needs. Theoretically consumptive behavior is influenced by low financial literacy. This research was conducted in the millennial generation in Bandung, which in 2019 was 19-38 years old. The sample used in this study was calculated using Slovin formula so that there were at least 400 respondents. Technique used in this research is nonprobability sampling with a purposive sampling approach. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study concluded that financial literacy had a significant negative effect on the consumptive behavior of millennial generation in the city of Bandung. With the level of financial literacy and consumptive behavior included in the medium category.
