Prediabetes was a condition where a person has abnormal blood sugar levels but was not yet categorized as diabetes (140-199 mg / dl). The increased incidence of prediabetes affects the increasing number of cases of diabetes, unhealthy diet and irregular exercise models are factors that cause weight problems and blood sugar levels that increase cases of prediabetes to have an impact on diabetes cases. The research purpose was the effect of diet menus and exercise models on reducing blood sugar levels and body weight in the prediabetes group. The method research was the analytical method with the design of quasi-experimental, the population was 20 people, and the sample was total population or sample of 20 people by dividing 2 groups with different interventions, the technique with accidental sampling, and tool with SPSS 20, the data analyzed with independent t test. The result of research was the influence in group jasmine (diet and exercise menu (jogging)) (P value = 0.001 <α = 0.05), and in group rose (diet and exercise menu (casual walk)) (P value = 0.004 <α = 0.05) to reduce blood sugar levels and body weight. The conclusion of research was that the diet control and exercise menu models were able to influence the decrease in blood sugar levels and body weight in the prediabetes group, group a had a more significant effect because of jogging so that more calories burned.

DM management that is more effective and efficient requires prevention and control programs that are on target. There are several risk factors associated with the incidence of DM, one of which is a behavioral factor. The behavior or lifestyle in question is eating habits. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of tempe consumption on blood sugar levels of DM sufferers in the exercise groups of women in the Talang Banjar Village, Jambi.The research method used was a quasi-experimental one group pre and post experience test. The population is group of gymnastics mothers of gymnastics mothers who suffer from diabetes mellitus, amounting to 6 people, using total sampling techniques, and analyzed using T Test.The analysis showed that there was no effect of tempe consumption with blood sugar levels with a p value (p value 0.201).Although the results of the study did not show any influence, it is likely that this was caused by several things such as the small number of samples, and it was not determined whether the N sample was a type 1 or type 2 diabetes sufferer. diabetes mellitus as a controller or helps control blood sugar levels in the body.

The prevalence of gestational diabetes mellitus in Indonesia is 1.8% in general pregnancy.One of the prevention of diabetes mellitus in pregnancy is sports interventions, including low impact aerobic exercise, such as swimming, jogging and pregnancy exercises. Benefits of pregnancy exercise reduces the risk of gestational obesity.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of pregnancy exercise on body weight and blood sugar levels of third trimester pregnant women.The type of the study was a quasy experiment with a post test control group design.The study population was all trimester III pregnant women and the sample was 15 people for each intervention group and the control group was taken using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection in the form of weight measurements after pregnancy exercise which is measured 1 time / week for 3 consecutive weeks and measurement of blood sugar levels before and after pregnancy exercise. Bivariate analysis used the Independent T-test and Mann Whitney U. The results showed the influence of pregnancy exercises on body weight (p-value 0.04,) and there was no effect of pregnancy exercises on decreasing maternal blood sugar levels (p-value 0.404). It is recommended for midwives to socialize and improve health services, namely pregnancy exercises for pregnant women regularly and periodically, and provide counseling about the benefits and effects of pregnancy exercises on weight and blood sugar levels of third trimester pregnant women.

ABSTRACT   Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease that increased every year and caused many complications. There are four pillars in the management of DM, namely education, nutrition, pharmacology and physical training. According to PERKENI, physical exercise for people with DM can be done 3-4x/week with a duration of 30 minutes. This study aims to determine the effect of exercise moderate activities carried out by Diabetes Mellitus in Muhammadiyah Hospital Palembang on blood sugar levels at a time. This study uses a quasi-experimental method with a total sample of 30 people who were obtained by total sampling. The research data was taken by checking blood sugar before and after physical activity with aerobic type, which is done 1x/week for four weeks by using Easy Touch GCU. Wilcoxon test results found a p-value of 0.285 which means moderate exercise activities carried out by people with diabetes in Palembang Muhammadiyah Hospital which is carried out once a week for four weeks does not affect blood sugar levels at the time.

This study aims to determine the Sundanese culture-sensitive family nursing model's effectiveness in increasing family knowledge and reducing blood sugar levels in older people with diabetes. The research design used in this study was a quasi-experimental pre and post-test. The results showed an increase in the mean family knowledge and blood sugar levels of older people with diabetes in the intervention group was higher than the control group with a p-value of 0.000. In conclusion, the Sundanese culture-sensitive family nursing model can increase family knowledge in caring for older people with diabetes and impact controlling blood sugar levels after the model intervention.   Keywords: Sundanese Culture, Older People with Diabetes, Blood Sugar, Knowledge

Abstract Background. Prevalensidiabetes mellitus in Indonesia potentially increased dramatically from 8.4 million people in 2000 to 21.3 million people in 2030. Diabetes mellitus may develop so bad with various complicated, diabetus mellitus of year to year growing a wide range of treatment options including non- medicinal chemistry ( Hebal ) . One type of therapy is continuously studied using mangosteen peel efectivitness. Research Objectives. Knowing the effect of the consumption of mangosteen rind to decrease blood sugar in the Village District of Boja Meteseh Kendal This is a research Methods. Quasi experiment with pre- post design eksperimental.Responden study are all patients with diabetes mellitus in the village of Boja Meteseh many as 17 people , as many as 16 samples taken. Sampling technic used was simple random sampling . Data obtained by the method of observation of assessing the results of measurements of blood sugar levels before and after taking of mangosteen skin . The data were processed with pairet t - test ( p = 0.05 ) using SPSS 18 . Results : ( 1 ) blood sugar levels before taking mangosteen peel at the most in the range of 301-400 mg / dL with a percentage of 43.75 % , the lowest blood sugar levels in the category of 501-600 mg / dL , with a percentage of 12.5 % , with an average value of 392.63 . ( 2 ) Blood sugar levels after consumption of mangosteen peel at the most in the range of 200-300 mg / dL , the percentage of blood sugar levels are the lowest in the category of 501-600 mg / dL , with a percentage of 12.5 % , with an average value of 371.31 mg / dL ( 3 ) There are significant differences in blood sugar levels before and after consuming mangosteen peel with a value of 0.001 t - Test Conclusion : Consumption of mangosteen peel significant effect on lowering blood sugar levels by t - test results of 5 % ( 0.05), obtained P value of 0.001. ABSTRACT UTERI FUNDUS HIGH RELATIONSHIP, BLOOD SUGAR AND CONDITIONSHEMOGLOBIN MOM WITH A NEW BORN WEIGHT  Background : Maternal and infant mortality rates are indicators commonly used to determine the degree of public health, assessment of the success of other health development programs. Low birth weight accounted for 51% of neonatal deaths throughout birth. The size of the birth weight depends on how the intrauterine fetus develops during pregnancy. This birth weight is one of the indicators of newborn health.Purpose: This research to find out the relationship between Uterine Fundus Height, Blood Sugar Levels, Hemoglobin Levels of mothers with weight and newborns at Puskesmas Sindang Jaya Year 2020.Method : This research is an Analytical Survey research with Cross Sectional design. The sample in this study of pregnant women who gave birth from june to August as many as 40 people.Results : In the results that there is a statistically significant relationship between high fundus uteri, blood sugar levels, and hemoglobin levels of mothers with baby weight born in the puskesmas sindang jaya with p value of 0.013 for high fudus ureteri, p value 0.042 for blood sugar levels, and p value of 0.069 for hemoglobin levels. Which means that all three variables have a p value of <0.05). With the variable that most affects the baby's weight is a high variable fundus erteri with a value (OR : 24).Conclusion : There is a link between high uterine fundus, blood sugar levels, and hemoglobin levels of mothers with newborn weight at Puskesmas Sindang Jaya Year 2020Suggestion  It is hoped that the next researcher can conduct further research because there are still many factors that can affect the weight of the newborn. Keywords : Baby Weight Born, Uterine Fundus Height, Blood Sugar Levels, Hemoglobin Levels. ABSTRAK Latar Belakang : Angka kematian ibu dan bayi adalah indikator yang lazim digunakan untuk menentukan derajat kesehatan masyarakat, penilaian terhadap keberhasilan pelayanan kesehatan program pembangunan kesehatan lainnya. Yang artinya dari ketiga variabel memiliki nilai p value <0,05. Background: Diabetes mellitus (DM), a metabolic disorder characterized by an increasing of blood sugar (hyperglycemia). Medication is one of the seven pillars of diabetes managementt. Garlic (Allium sativum), an alternative herb, also has an antidiabetic effect. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of garlic on the blood sugar level in type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods: This study was a quasi-experimental design with two group post-test design. The participants were DM patients who only take medication without any supplemental herbs. The respondents were divided into two group; intervention group, given antidiabetic drugs and consume garlic 3 pieces of garlic/day for 2 weeks and control group only got antidiabetic drugs. Data were collected by performing blood sugar measurement using glucose-check on all respondents using capillary blood in the fingertips. Second measurement were taken after monitoring the consumption of garlic together with drugs for two weeks. Hypothesis testing used independent T-Test test.Results: The study result found that the average of blood sugar level after administering the treatment is 240 mg/dl in the intervention group, and 284 mg/dl in control group. It can be concluded that the administration of 3 pieces of garlic combining with antidiabetic drugs for 2 weeks has not been able to reduce blood sugar levels into normal limits.Conclusions: This combination found to lowering the blood sugar levels in a significant amount compare to only drugs. The length of the therapy could consider as a significant predictor.

The problem of elderly diabetes mellitus is complex and various interventions in the form of education have been carried out in controlling blood sugar levels but the results have not been optimal. Based on this, the researcher wants to know the effect of coaching intervention on controlling blood sugar levels of the elderly with diabetes in Indonesia. The quasi-experimental research design uses a treatment group. Sampling with consecutive sampling in which the intervention group was selected according to purpose, with 38 respondents. Independent t-test was used. The results obtained were significant differences in blood sugar levels after being given an intervention. Coaching interventions affect blood sugar levels of the elderly with diabetes. It was concluded that coaching interventions reduce blood sugar levels and provide opportunities for nurses to develop promotive and preventive efforts.  Keywords: blood glucose levels, coaching intervention, elderly

The rising threat of Plasmodium falciparum resistance to Monotherapies has prompted the world health organization (WHO) 2006 guidelines to recommend the use of different anti-malarias. In this study, the anti-malaria and hypoglycaemic activities of Diosgenin, a potent, yet poorly reported saponin was investigated on P. falciparum inoculated and Alloxan-Induced, Diabetic Wistar Rats. Fort two (42) adult male wistar rats of between 100g and 150g were procured, acclimatized (for two weeks), and grouped into seven of six (6) rats per group. While Group 1 (Normal control) received normal rat chow and water ad libitum, groups 2 – 4 received no treatment (untreated), 10 mg/kg body weight of anti-diabetic Metformin and 25 mg/kg body weight of diosgenin respectively after inducing diabetes mellitus (DM) with alloxan monohydrate; whereas, groups 5-7 (all malaria infected) were untreated (negative malaria control), 25 mg/kg body weight of diosgenin and 56 mg/kg body weight of anti-malaria coartem respectively. Following treatment period, blood samples were obtained and assayed for fasting blood sugar, packed cell volume (PCV) and total white blood cell count (TWBCC). From the result, P. falciparum exposed rats showed lowered PCV values than control with observed improvements in coartem (significant at p < 0.05) and diosgenin (insignificant) treatment groups. Also, diabetic, diosgenin treated rats showed an insignificant reduction in blood sugar levels compared to control, even though this change was apparently improved compared to diabetic, untreated group. Again, TWBCC caused notable decrease in diosgenin treated, though this decrease signified a huge recovery compared to untreated rats. Corroborative studies on diosgenin with other systems is recommended.

Introduction: Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease that occurs because the pancreas cannot produce enough insulin or the body cannot effectively use the insulin produced by the pancreas. There are 4 ways to maintain blood glucose levels, namely; pharmacological therapy, nutritional therapy, diabetes self management education, and physical activity. Walking exercise is the most often described as the modalities of physical activity to improve health. Objective: The research objective was to determine the effect of walking physical activity on blood sugar levels in diabetes mellitus patients in the work area of ​​the Cianjur Kota Health Center in 2021. Method: This study used a design quasi-experimental with an approach one-group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study was all 620 people with diabetes mellitus who were taken using a simple random sampling technique, which was 17 respondents. Results: Analysis of data using test paired sample t-test. Statistical test results obtained a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05 so that Ha is accepted, which means there is an effect of physical activity on foot on blood sugar levels in diabetes mellitus patients in the work area of ​​the Cianjur Kota Health Center in 2021. Conclusion: This study found that walking exercise as far as 2,5 km for 30 minutes can lower blood sugar levels significantly in patients with diabetes mellitus.
