Sharf  is one of the most important branches of knowledge in Arabic, by which a learner can know and understand the form of a word, its origin, its changes, and its meaning, so that it is hoped that he will be able to understand the Arabic text he reads and hears. The substance of  the Sharf  is to discuss the forms of words with the aim of knowing the meaning  of each of these word changes. The goal of learning Sharaf  is to teach students about changes in the form of a word to another word to find out its true meaning. Sharf  science is one of the scientific principles in Arabic which is one of the media (intermediaries) to master language skills. Therefore, the Sharf should be taught by paying attention to the following matters: 1) Teaching the Sharf science is not a goal (learning the science of  Sharf  for the Sharf) but as a instrumen (tool) to get competence and language skills, 2) Teaching the Sharf requires a lot of practice and not only focus on teaching the rules and forgetting the basic function, 3) it must be taught in stages according to the students' abilities, for example from Mujarrad to Mazid and practice in perfect sentences (Jumlah Mufidah).

Abstract Reading is a process carried out and used by the reader to obtain a message, which the writer wants to convey through the media of written language. A process that demands that groups of words which are a unity be seen at a glance, and so that the meaning of individual words will be known. If this is not fulfilled, then the explicit and implicit message will not be captured or understood, and the reading process will not be carried out properly. A process that demands that groups of words that represent a group will be seen in a glance, and so that the meaning of individual words will be known. This study aims to describe the language skills of Uswatun Hasanah Middle School students in Buru Regency. The research location is in the Islamic boarding school of Uswatun hasanah Namlea. data and data sources namely students of class VII Uswatun hasanah. the method in this study is PTK or classroom action research. The results of the study showed that the language skills of the seventh grade junior high students were very prominent as evidenced by the assignment of language assignments, namely. This study aims to increase courage children to speaking English using implementation of game in Dahanrejo village, Kebomas, Gresik. The author as tutors and teachers for children in Dahanrejo village in this research. The problems refer to in Dahanrejo village, many children are afraid to speak English because there are no motivation to increase knowledge related studying English, therefore they have lack vocabulary and also teachers can’t explore the other media to teaching English in the classroom. The results of the action research given by the authors are the application of the media can improve the English language skills especially speaking of students and be able to provide variations in indoor learning that are not only fixed on the Package Books and Students Worksheets (LKS). Not only that, but the authors also found that the media was able to change the mood of students who did teaching through the media and were more interested in English.

The purpose of this study was to describe the use of the Oral Reading Fluency (ORF) method and to show the effectiveness of its use in Arabic reading at Muhamamdiyah University Malang. The method used in this research was descriptive quantitative with the Arabic education department students as the objects. The instruments used for the data collection were questionnaire and observation sheet, while the data analysis used the percentage of student responses. This research was conducted on four meetings. Each meeting had different text with a range of 125 - 140 words and a different final evaluation. This method implements a bear-back manner of reading quickly and at a specified time. The results of this study indicated that the ORF method is very helpful for students to be able to read Arabic texts fluently and accurately. It is proven that 50% of students give positive response to the application of this method. This method can also help improve the ability to understand the contents of Arabic text which has been one of the problems in learning Arabic language skills. It was proven that at the end of the meeting 85% of students completed the material with perfect scores.

Al Waqfu and al Ibtida’ is one of important part an Arabic languistic principle that every student of Arabic language have to understand clearly. Al Waqfu wa al Ibtida’ is a principle that arrange how to stop how to begin when reading sentences. This principle is guidience that assure the student of Arabic language catching the true meaning of the Arabic text that she or he reads, especially the Qur’an text. The implemementation of this principles may lead to missunderstanding the true meaning of a text. The implementation of this principle not only critical for the reader its also critical for the listener, they also could missunderstand the meaning of the text that they hear.The aim of this study is to analyse the methods that used by the islamic scholars to build the principle, especially tht related to the Qur’anic text. Second, this study will disscus the benefit of implementation of this principle in Arabic language study. This research is based on library research and discriptive analysis.The study several that  Al-Waqaf is catagorized to four category that is; perfect stop, sufficent stop, good stop, and bad stop. Al- Ibtida’ is categorized to two category that is; good begining, and bad beging in Arabic language studies this knowladge could be use as parameter to evaluate the capacibility of a student in understanding the true meaning of the text that he or she reads. And teaching Arabic could be use for four skill especially reading skill. Arabic teaching in reading skill can use reading text because it one method to identify the means where he stopped reading  and it could use dialogue reading. And the teacher can use onther method for this theaching.

Writing Skills is one language skills that must be mastered by the student. Civilizing expressing ideas or students’ ideas in written form can be developed througheducation. However, unfortunately this habituation is not taken seriously in the education system, so that the culture of writing in the student still low and thereare still many students who find it difficult to carry out writing stories. The purpose of writing skills in school is that the students have the ability to speak Indonesian to develop an idea or ideas in writing through essay they create. Lyrics in song are intended to send a message to the audience or music lovers.  Composers use figurative language as the media to convey their message. One of the figurative languages that is mostly used in song’s lyrics is Metaphor. This study was intended to investigate the types of metaphor used in One Direction Album. The objective of this study to identify the types of metaphor found in the song lyrics and to analyze metaphor meaning in One Direction song. This study adopted a descriptive qualitative research design. Three songs by One Direction had been chosen as the data of this study; Story of My Life, Steal My Girl and Drag Me Down. The data were analyzed its metaphor by using Lakoff and Johnson theory, while in investigating the meaning, Chaer’s theory of contextual meaning was used. The result of the study showed that based on the three types of metaphor, structural metaphor becomes the most frequently used in the song lyrics, meanwhile 2 of 3 songs used all of the three types of metaphor; Orientation, Structural and Ontological Metaphor. In answering the second research question about the meaning of each metaphor, each lyric has been analyzed through content analysis to know the true meaning of what the song writer want to express in his/her lyrics and each lyric has different contextual meaning which is elaborated further in this study. Keywords: Metaphor, Meaning, One Direction’s Album

The lack of a unified dictation system among all classes of society today created a major problem for the Kurdish dictation system, especially in the field of education, and this problem appears more clearly in the form and technique of writing. The lack of a strong linguistic center to supervise this thing facilitated that each party, according to their personal information, change the form of writing and use it according to their desire, or that the language of the media often does not pay attention to the language and the laws of the language, and the goal is that their main purpose is to deliver the message to readers in a simple and fast manner. Therefore, the language side is neglected, even though the language of the media is a powerful tool for preserving and developing the language because in the easiest way, all parts of society can benefit from new words and terms provided that this language is free of grammatical and spelling errors. That is why this language must be analyzed academically and accurately, and acceptable and normative examples must be shown and become a basis for the development of the language. This research is an academic scientific attempt to determine the correct and scientific principles of a correct spelling system in terms of dictation and technique

Flash cardboard is one of the media used for speaking, especially in storytelling. Teaching by using media is very necessary for learning because it greatly influences the results of the learning process. This research wants to know English as a Foreign Language (EFL) students’ perception after they learned storytelling using flash cardboard as a media. This was phenomenological research. This research used semi-structured interviews with some students who used flash cardboard in learning storytelling. Purposive sampling was used in this research. The result shows that the student got positive impacts facilitated by the flash cardboard media, they became more confident in speaking in front of the class, they were not involved because flash cardboard helped them, students also supported speaking fluently, they can produce more than 190 words per minute (wpm) but not necessarily perfect command of intonation, vocabulary, and grammar. By using flash cardboard as the media, the media can be an alternative method in learning English specifically speaking class because it forces students to speak (really make them speak) following the target language. In the end, it can also be concluded that learning English using flash cardboard media can improve students' language skills and speaking skills. The students maintain their ability in speaking smoothly not necessarily perfect command of intonation, vocabulary, and of course the grammar. The recommendation for further study is the other researchers can add the respondents with another English skill.

Language skills in PAUD Terpadu Mutiara Yogyakarta children are still low. This matter is caused by less attractive and varied educational procedures and media. The use of exciting techniques such as telling is expected to improve children's language skills. This research aims: to identify the skills in telling children in improving the language skills of children PAUD Terpadu Mutiara Yogyakarta; to recognize the increase in language skills of children in PAUD Terpadu Mutiara Yogyakarta through telling. This research's procedure involves action research, which consists of 2 cycles, the first cycle of 8 actions and the second cycle of 3 steps. The study subjects were children in group B, with 16 children consisting of 5 boys and 11 girls. Methods of collecting information through observation, interviews, and documentation. The method of information analysis was tried descriptively, qualitatively, and quantitatively. The action's success criterion is if the average class score in improving language skills reaches 75%. The research results show that: the media implementation process includes three stages, namely preparation, implementation of activities, and assessment; in Cycle I, it increased from the results of pre-action by 27% to 36%, and in Cycle II, it increased to 75%. So it can be concluded that the implementation of telling can improve PAUD Terpadu Mutiara Yogyakarta children's language skills.

ABSTRAKPembendaharaan kata merupakan kunci utama dalam keterampilan berbahasa. banyaknya jumlah kosakata yang dimiliki seseorang, mencerminkan kualitas bahasa yang dimilikinya. Dari sekian jumlah kosakata yang sangat banyak, pembelajar suatu bahasa harus mempunyai daya ingat yang baik untuk menghafal kosakata sebagai suatu dasar untuk terampil berbahasa. sering kali dalam menghafal kosakata baru  pembelajar mengalami suatu kendala. Kendala tersebut merupakan masalah yang sering terjadi, yaitu karena kemampuan mengatur atau menyimpan ingatan seseorang belum maksimal. Dengan adanya permasalahan ini, diperlukan media untuk memudahkan pembelajar untuk memudahkan mengingat kosakata dengan baik. Salah satu media yang efektif untuk pembelajaran kosakata adalah menggunakan media foto. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil peningkatan kemampuan mengingat kosakata nomina bahasa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media foto . Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen, dengan desain penelitian one group pretest posttest. sample dalam penelitian ini adalah 24orang siswa SMAN 15 bandung kelas XI lintas minat bahasa Jepang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes dan angket. Berdasarkan hasil data penelitian, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan awal dan kemampuan akhir pada siswa kelas XI lintas minat. hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil nilai t-hitung sebesar 17,21> t-tabel 2,07 dengan taraf signifikan 5% dan t-hitung 17,21> t-tabel 2,81 dengan taraf signifikan 1%. maka dapat disimpulkan hipotesis diterima. kemudian dari segi keefektifitasannya menggunakan normalized gain diperoleh nilai 0,90, dimana nilai tersebut membuktikan bahwa penggunaan media foto efektif untuk pembelajaran kosakata nomina bahasa Jepang, dan dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu media alternatif. selain itu, dari hasil data angket bahwa penggunaan media foto efektif membantu siswa dalam pembelajaran kosakata nomina bahasa Jepang.ABSTRACTVocabulary is the key in language skills. A large number of vocabulary that is owned by someone, it reflects the quality of the language which is owned by him. From the large number of vocabulary, the learners of a language should have a good memory to memorize vocabulary as a basic for the skillful in the language. Often in a memorizing a new vocabulary, the learners encounter an obstacle. These obstacles are a common problem, because the ability to set or keep someone memory is not maximized. With the existence of these problems, it needs a media to facilitate the learners for make it easier to remember vocabulary nicely. One effective media for learning vocabulary is uses the photos of media. The purpose of this research was to determine the result of an increase in the ability to remember the vocabulary of nouns language before and after using the media of photos. The method used in this research is quasi-experimental, with the design of the research one group pretest posttest. The samples in this research is 24 students of class XI SMAN 15 Bandung cross-interest Japanese language. The instrument used in this research is the tests and questionnaires. Based on the results of research data, there are significant differences between the preliminary results and the final results on the students. This is evidenced by the results of the t-count by 17, 21> t-table 2, 07 with significant level of 5% and a t count 17, 21> t-table 2, 81 with a significant level of 1%. It can be concluded that hypothesis was accepted. Then, in terms of effectiveness using a normalized gain obtained a value of 0, 90, where the value is proven that the utilization of photo media is effective for the learning noun vocabulary in Japanese language, and can be used as one of the alternative media.
