This paper provides an Extended Client Based Technique (ECBT) that performs classification on emails using the Bayessian classifier that attain in-depth defense by performing textual analysis on email messages and attachment extensions to detect and flag snooping emails. The technique was implemented using python 3.6 in a jupyter notebook. An experimental research method on a personal computer was used to validate the developed technique using different metrics. The validation results produced a high acceptable percentage rate based on the four calculated validation metrics indicating that the technique was valid. The cosine of similarity showed a high percentage rate of similarity between the validation labels indicating that there is a high rate of similarity between the known and output message labels. The direction for further study on this paper is to conduct a replica experiments, which enhances the classification and flagging of the snooped emails using an advanced classification method.

The research aims to examine how positive review disconfirmation (i.e., a positive deviance between a hotel consumer’s poststay evaluation and the average review rating by prior consumers) affects subsequent consumers’ willingness to post online reviews and their own review ratings. By employing an experimental research method, this study reveals that positive review disconfirmation increases hotel guests’ willingness to post online reviews, and increases their online review ratings through the mechanism of concern for others, demonstrating an act of altruism. In addition, comparatively the positive review disconfirmation effects are stronger when the variance of prior review ratings is smaller. This study enhances the online review social influence literature, and the consumer’s altruistic motivation of posting online reviews.

OBJECTIVE: To test a reliable and easily administered frustration-induction procedure for experimental research. METHOD: One hundred volunteers (81 women, mean age ± SD 34.2 ± 8 years) physically and psychiatrically healthy submitted to the frustration induction procedure were prevented from reaching reward level scores. Subjective aggressiveness feelings related to frustration were self-rated in a 13-item visual analogue scale before and after the procedure. RESULTS: Significant increases in aggressiveness-related feelings were detected in 12 of the 13 items. This was consistent with the observed overt behavior of the subjects during the task. CONCLUSIONS: The frustration-induction procedure is a simple, easy to administer frustration-induction procedure that can be used in experimental studies in normal subjects.

Going to the advanced countries for higher education has been in vogue for long. There is a considerable rise in the number of international students in USA universities. This paper explores how Shamsie portrays interaction among international students. It is delimited to the analysis of Shamsies two novels: Salt and Saffron, and Kartoghraphy applying textual analysis as a research method. The insight gained through this research about friendship among international students is in keeping with the findings of the psychological research about three predictable patterns of friendship: friendship with the students of ones own country, friendship with other foreign students and friendship with students of the host country. In Kartoghraphy all three patterns of friendship are found while in Salt and Saffron only a strong bond of friendship between a Pakistani international student and her American counterpart is portrayed. Shamsie presents easy assimilation of Pakistani diaspora students.

AbstractHigh rate of mutation and structural flexibilities in viral proteins quickly make them resistant to the host immune system and existing antiviral strategies. For most of the pathogenic viruses, the key survival strategies lie in their ability to evolve rapidly through mutations that affects the protein structure and function. Along with the experimental research related to antiviral development, computational data mining also plays an important role in deciphering the molecular and genomic signatures of the viral adaptability. Uncovering conserved regions in viral proteins with diverse chemical and biological properties is an important area of research for developing antiviral therapeutics, though assigning those regions is not a trivial work. Advancement in protein structural information databases and repositories, made by experimental research accelerated the in-silico mining of the data to generate more integrative information. Despite of the huge effort on correlating the protein structural information with its sequence, it is still a challenge to defeat the high mutability and adaptability of the viral genomics structure. In this current study, the authors have developed a user-friendly web application interface that will allow users to study and visualize protein segment variabilities in viral proteins and may help to find antiviral strategies. The present work of web application development allows thorough mining of the surface properties and variabilities of viral proteins which in combination with immunogenicity and evolutionary properties make the visualization robust. In combination with previous research on 20-Dimensional Euclidian Geometry based sequence variability characterization algorithm, four other parameters has been considered for this platform: [1] predicted solvent accessibility information, [2] B-Cell epitopic potential, [3] T-Cell epitopic potential and [4] coevolving region of the viral protein. Uniqueness of this study lies in the fact that a protein sequence stretch is being characterized rather than single residue-based information, which helps to compare properties of protein segments with variability. In current work, as an example, beside presenting the web application platform, five proteins of SARS-CoV2 was presented with keeping focus on protein-S. Current web-application database contains 29 proteins from 7 viruses including a GitHub repository of the raw data used in this study. The web application is up and running in the following address: http://www.protsegvar.com.

Based on the explanation of the theory by Gardner the state is motivation comes from within a person as a driving force to achieve goals for more advanced change. This study aims to determine how enthusiastic student's Eighth grade in the SMPN 03 Bengkulu Tengah are in learning English, especially speaking English. Researchers used a quasi-experimental research method, namely a control group posttest only design which showed a significant difference between 74, 92%, and 61.96% of the experimental class in the control class. From this hypothesis, the researcher obtained a comparison of the experimental class in the treatment using the storytelling method of 4.34% and the control class with the narrative picture method of 3.58%. So the researcher can conclude that there is a significant difference between the two methods with or without the use of treatment compared to the motivation to learn English in class VIII students at SMPN 03 Bengkulu Tengah.

At this workshop, the transdisciplinary research group H.A.U.S. presented a new experimental research method (TPT) for the first time. Classic methods like “Living Lab” and “Wizard of Oz” are widely used and well established in social robotics research, but they imply explicit limits and raise methodological concerns. The epistemology of TPT’s performances draws on concepts related to Hans-Jörg Rheinberger’s “epistemic thing” and Michel Serres’ “quasi-object”. These theoretical underpinnings are discussed, alongside limitations of TPT and benefits of this approach compared to classic methods.

In this colloquium, the author responds artistically to Bone and Blaise’s article ‘An uneasy assemblage: Prisoners, animals, asylum-seeking children and posthuman packaging’, published in Contemporary Issues in Early Childhood in 2015, continuing their trajectory of ‘different kinds of images than those usually seen in an article in an early childhood journal’. Here, I employ the practice of making as an experimental research method to reconsider the relational and ethical issues raised in Bone and Blaise’s primary article.
