The current research aims to investigate the skills of the intended meaning beyond the context when reading poetry among fifth literary students. To achieve the aim of the research, the researcher has followed the descriptive approach and used two tools: an open questionnaire that includes an inquiry about the skills of the intended meaning beyond the poetic context, and a closed questionnaire that were examined by the juries, and modified accordingly. Besides, its validity and stability were examined by applying the study on an exploratory sample of (15) teachers to reach its final version and determine the time required to answer it. Then, the researcher applied it on the research sample of (96) male and female teachers selected from various schools in the center of Babylon Governorate, who teach fifth grade of the literary branch. After processing the responses statistically, the research has concluded the following: three intended meaning skills have been identified to determine the intended meaning beyond the poetic context. Regarding the item (training students to be able to determine the meaning of difficult words in the text) of the first item of the skill, it has the highest score, as its intensity reached (4,41) and its percentage weight reached (%88,3). The item (training students to be able to understand the hidden meaning of the text and the recognition of its aesthetic value) of the second item of the skill has gained the highest score which amounts to (4.33) with a percentage weight of (%86.6). The item (training the students on the use of educational aids related to the text, which may be pictures or phrases) of the third item of the skill has received the highest score, as its intensity reached (4.5) a percentage weight of (%90). According to these results, the researcher has recommended that students should be given enough time to be able to consider and understand the meaning of a text.

Abstract:
The study aimed: (1) to describe the steps of PBL with model materials, (2) to improve mathematics, and (3) to describe the constraints and solutions. It was a collaborative classroom action research (CAR) carried out in three cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects were teachers and 20 students. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and tests. Data analysis included data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that: (1) the steps to the application of PBL with model materials to improve mathematics about solid figures to fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Danasri in academic year of 2019/2020 were: (a) examining problem orientation with the model materials, (b) preparing the students to work in groups, (c) having the students to investigate individually or in groups with the help of model materials, (d) having presentation and discussion by using model materials; (e) analyzing and evaluating problem solving process with the help of model materials; (2) the application of PBL with model materials improved mathematics about solid figures. The average percentages of mastery learning were 85% in the first cycle, 90% in the second cycle, and 95% in the third cycle: (3) obstacles in each meeting were (a) a few students used the model materials as tools while learning process and having group discussions, (b) a few students asked questions. The solutions were: (a) the teacher introduced the model materials, (b) the teacher stimulated the students to ask questions.

The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of Montessori learning methods based on mathematical props made from sponge rubber waste in developing active participation of fifth grade elementary school students. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods using instruments in form of observation sheets, interview sheets, questionnaire sheets, and documentation. The collected data is analyzed by triangulation. The results showed that Montessori learning based on mathematics teaching aids made from sponge rubber waste can develop active participation of fifth grade students. Active participation of fifth grade students looks better when teachers apply Montessori learning method. This can be seen from the increase in the average value of students' active participation at each meeting. At the first meeting the average value of active student participation was 66.67, the second meeting was 73.91 and the third meeting was 81.52. This study recommends implement the learning methods needed with interesting tools, so that it can increase students’ active participation.

The present study assessed the effects of tempo differences on listeners' ability to recognize previously heard rhythm phrases. The effect of audible beat on subjects' response accuracy also was examined. Three hundred twenty third-, fourth-, and fifth-grade students and nonmusic-major undergraduates heard one of two versions of a 20-item paired-comparison test and indicated whether the second rhythm in each pair was the same or not the same as the first rhythm in the pair. In one test version, a second “voice” accompanied each rhythm at the rate of the steady beat. Rhythm performances at the rate of 100 beats per minute (bpm) were compared to performances at 50, 75, 125, and 150 bpm. The mean number of correct responses for undergraduates was significantly higher than the corresponding means for the third-, fourth-, and fifth-grade subjects, which were not significantly different from one another. Response accuracy across all groups was affected significantly both by the comparison tempo and by the direction of tempo change between the first and second rhythms in the test item. The mean number of correct responses for items with a 50-bpm comparison tempo was significantly lower than the correct response means for items with 75-, 125-, and 150-bpm comparison tempos, which did not differ significantly from one another. Subjects were better able to identify paired rhythms as identical when the tempo of the second rhythm was the faster of the two examples in the pair than when the second example was the slower of the two examples. There were no differences in response accuracy attributable to the presence (or absence) of an audible steady beat in the stimulus, and there were no significant interactions between main effects.

This study aimed at identifying the teachers' teachers' perception toward factors hindering learning phonetic transcription of Received Pronunciation. The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach to suit the aims of this study. The sample consisted of (150) male and female teachers at the governmental schools in Palestine. The instrument of the study is a questionnaire. Also, the tool has three domains in which the first domain is the teachers' factors. The second domain is the language factors, and the last is the curricula and courses factors. Validity and reliability were conducted for the questionnaire, therefore, the reliability is good. Data were collected through a link prepared through Google Drive. The responses were collected and treated by SPSS statistics. The results showed that the domain of language factors occupied the first rank with a percentage weight of ( 72.37%), Then the domain of teachers factors occupied the second rank with a percentage weight of (66.95%). Finally, the domain of curricula and courses factors occupied the third rank with a percentage weight of (63.41%). The total degree of the domains reached a percentage weight of (67.58%. In addition, the results showed that there are statistically significant differences at (0.05) in the curricula and courses factors in favor female and there are no statistically significant differences in the other domains. Besides, there are no statistically significant differences at (0.05) due to years of experience variable.
