Growth monitoring is an activity to detect early growth irregularities (malnutrition or poor nutritional status, short children), developmental deviations (late speaking) and mental emotional disorders (impaired concentration and hyperactivity). The purpose of this community service is to increase public knowledge about the normal growth and development of toddlers, increase awareness of mothers about the importance of stimuli for toddler growth and development. The survey that was conducted by the Community Service Team for mothers with toddlers stated that the lack of education provided by posyandu officers, especially regarding toddler growth and development. The method used in community services is discussion, question and answer, and weight checks on toddlers. The service was carried out at the Beringin Posyandu in Kenali Asam Bawah for mothers who have toddlers, implemented in December 2019-January 2020. After counseling activities, participants who attended understood about how to monitor growth and development in toddlers and can monitor ideal weight in toddlers

Monitoring of growth and development is an activity to detect early growth irregularities (malnutrition or poor nutritional status, short children), developmental deviations (late speaking), and mental emotional disorders (impaired concentration and hyperactivity). The rapid growth and development in the first 1,000 days of life makes monitoring of child development very important at this age. The first 1,000 days of life are counted from the time of conception in the mother's womb until the child is 2 years old. In children aged 2 years, the height has reached half of the adult's height and the brain development has reached 80% of the adult brain. Since March 2020, Indonesia has been hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. This resulted in the temporary suspension of posyandu activities in various regions in Indonesia. Fears of a pandemic condition make parents afraid to bring toddlers to clinics and puskesmas. One of the easiest steps for mothers and caregivers to take to stimulate the growth and development of toddlers at home is baby massage. Solutions and targets The outputs offered in this activity are growth and development stimulation education, infant massage demonstrations, and assistance to mothers of toddlers for infant massage for 2x a month. The output targets are publication of articles in the journal Community Service, print media publications, and increasing community empowerment and strengthening knowledge and developing community habits in healthy behavior

Observations over a period of 6 years are reported on 10 children in whom the diagnosis of congenital sucrase isomaltase deficiency (SID) was confirmed by quantitative estimation of disaccharidase activity of the small intestinal mucosa. Repeat biopsies were performed on eight of the ten patients and showed no evidence that sucrase isomaltase activity is acquired. Sucrose tolerance tests (2 gm/kg) showed no significant rise in blood glucose in the seven patients in whom they were performed. This condition may appear in young infants with severe diarrhea resulting in a malabsorption syndrome and failure to thrive. It may also be manifest in a milder clinical presentation with bothersome diarrhea in spite of normal growth and development in the older infant or young child. The diagnosis in this latter group can be difficult, and is frequently missed.

ABSTRAK The World Health Organization menetapkan outbreak SARS-CoV-2 sebagai Kedaruratan Kesehatan Masyarakat yang Meresahkan Dunia dan dinyatakan sebagai pandemik. Penyebaran dan penularan penyakit Coronavirus Disease-19 (COVID-19) sangat tinggi, dengan jumlah penderita lebih dari 117 juta di seluruh dunia. Diperlukan berbagai strategi dan tindakan yang dapat dilakukan untuk pencegahan, penanggulangan dalam rangka mengatasi COVID-19. Tujuan Pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh Stikes Achmad Yani adalah ikut berperan serta dalam pencegahan dan penanggulangan COVID-19 di wilayah Kota Cimahi dan Kota Bandung. Metode yang digunakan adalah partisipatori dalam berbagai aktifias pencegahan dan penanggulangan COVID-19. Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat yang dilakukan selama pandemic COVID-19 diantaranya adalah demontrasi pembuatan handsanitizer, penyemprotan disinfektan, mengirimkan tim relawan pemeriksaan Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) antibodi Cluster Lembang dan relawan Check Point pada kegiatan Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar di Kota Bandung. Pemberian donasi kepada masyarakat terdampak pandemik COVID-19 dan donasi Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) ke fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan seperti Rumah Sakit dan Puskesmas. Pelaksanaan Rapid Test Diagnostic (RTD) antibodi dan RTD antigen bagi mahasiswa, dosen dan Karyawan. Stikes Achmad Yani juga berperan serta dalam gebyar Vaksin COVID-19 bagi tenaga kesehatan dan mengirimkan relawan sebagai vaksinator yang diselenggarakan oleh Rumah Sakit Hasan Sadikin berkerjasama dengan PPNI. Partisipasi Stikes Achmad Yani Cimahi dalam berbagai kegiatan yang terkait dengan COVID-19 diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam rangka pencegahan penularan, pengendalian dan penanggulangan COVID-19. Kata Kunci: COVID-19, disinfeksi, relawan, Rapid Diagnostic Test  ABSTRACT The World Health Organization recognize the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak as a public health emergency of Internasional Concerns and declared it as a pandemic. The spread and transmission of Coronavirus Disease-19 (COVID-19) are very high and reported that over 117 million people have been sufferers worldwide. Several strategies and actions can be carried out to prevention, controlling and overcoming COVID-19. The purpose of community service carried out by Stikes Achmad Yani is to participate in the prevention and control of COVID-19 in Cimahi and Bandung district. The methode used in community services are participatory methods in several activities for prevention and control of COVID-19. Community Service activities carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic included demonstrations of making hand sanitizers, spraying disinfectants, sending a team of volunteers to examine the Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) antibody for the Lembang Cluster, and volunteer Check Points at Large-Scale Social Restrictions activities in Bandung. Providing donations to people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and donations of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to health service facilities such as hospitals and health centers. Implementation of Rapid Diagnostic Test (RTD) antibody and RDT antigen for students, lecturers, and staff. Stikes Achmad Yani also participated in the COVID-19 Vaccine for health workers and sent volunteers as vaccinators organized by Hasan Sadikin Hospital in collaboration with PPNI. Abstract– Most of the people in the district of Sungai Kunyit are engaged in the business of seafood including udang ebi. Udang ebi's monthly production in this district reached 5000 kg. Although the potential of udang ebi processing in Sungai Kunyit dsitrict is quite large, it's benefits still not improve the lives and welfare of the local fishermen. The low of education level may directly affect welfare of society that in general are still categorized as underprivileged families. Partners in this community service activities are the drying group of udang ebi in the territory of Sungai Kunyit district. The partners were Usaha Bahari Terpadu and Karya Bersama. These drying groups of udang ebi are generally running their business still use the traditional way by relying on the natural sunlight for drying udang ebi catches. So that during the rainy season, where the sun shines not too good and often cloudy, their income declined up to 40%. The above problem encouraged the team Community Services in the Sungai Kunyit district to conduct socialization and pilot project in construction drying oven for udang-ebi. Through this science and technology for Society (Ibm) program funded by Directorate of Research and Community Service (DP2M), it is expected to give significant effect on improvement in live and welfare of the local fishermen, especially drying group of udang-ebi, and finally increases the health, education and economic levels of society in general. Working mother factors, lack of knowledge about the benefits of breast milk, and the low support of assisting health workers are factors that influence the achievement of exclusive breast milk targets. The method of implementing community service activities was carried out with health counseling and assistance in the manufacture of milk bag milk milk cooler for 20 breastfeeding working mothers. Making cooler bags using cork as a material that is easily available and economical, is a breakthrough that can be made in helping to achieve exclusive breastfeeding programs. The purpose of this community service is to empower mothers through making cooler bags that are expected to improve the skills and confidence of working mothers in providing breast milk. The implementation of community service shows the results that mothers understand about the benefits of breast milk (80%), the statement of the attitude of mothers who are willing to milk breast milk in the workplace (80%), and all mothers are able to play a role in making cooler bags independently. Communities can learn independently (self learning) and can share experiences in preventing and tackling infant health, especially in fulfilling breast milk for infant growth and development

Barchan types of sand dune region (barchanoid dunes) is a geographic landmark that is formed by the activity of wind that precipitated to form resembles a crescent moon. In general, sandbanks formed in the desert area, however, but uniquely, it is formed in Indonesia wich is tropical zone and has high rainfall. Therefore, the formation of sand dunes in the Parangtritis village is the only one in Indonesia, and even in Southeast Asia. The purpose of community service program are (1) improve the understanding of the community and the partners on sustainable development through the implementation of Community Services; (2) promote knowledge-based Conservation of sand dunes to local partnerships, cooperation, society, government, and other stakeholders.The methods in the implementation of community service programs include: (1) the initial observation, (2) mapping the problems, (3) dissemination, (4) FGD by involving sand dunes users, (5) assistance program to the public, i.e advocacy on “rembug warga” to determine the programs that will be organized in order to use sand dunes wisely (6) workshop on the conservation of sand dunes and creative economic activity, and (7) the documentation and exploration.Output of this community service programs are: (1) increasing the capacity of institutions and stakeholders; (2) increasing the involvement and range of universities in community service programs; (3) the increased adoption of expediency results of research activities and community service for the wider community; and (4) dissemination of activity results in the form of products publication. Outcome obtained from this activity is a collective commitment to develop Desa Parangtritis in order to realize the vision of "Among Tani Dagang Layar".

Abstract: All children experience the process of growth and development in life. In order to reach optimal development, the child needs to get the appropriate stimulation provided with the right method. At the age of 0 to 7 years, children learn to use limbs so that the most appropriate stimulation for children aged 0 to 7 years is to use limbs as a medium of learning. This is in line with the techniques performed on sensory integration programs. But unfortunately not many parents know this. This issue often creates problems in child development. The purpose of this community service is to raise the awareness of parents to conduct teaching and learning process in ways appropriate to the age and stages of development owned by children so that children can be optimally developed. This activity is done by making activity planning, determining the location of activities and doing psychoeducation program on the parents of children at Darul Syifa Wal Aitam Foundation that located at Kranji, Bekasi. This activity is an attempt to improve parental knowledge about the importance of sensory integration and the impact it gains when the child's sensory is not well integrated. The benefit of this community service is the increased knowledge of parents about the use of sensory integration methods so that it can be used to optimize the growth of their children.   Abstrak: Semua anak mengalami proses pertumbuhan dan perkembangan dalam hidupnya. Agar perkembangannya dapat optimal, anak perlu mendapatkan stimulasi yang sesuai yang diberikan dengan metode yang tepat. Di usia 0 sampai 7 tahun anak belajar menggunakan anggota tubuhnya sehingga pemberian stimulasi yang paling tepat untuk anak usia 0 sampai 7 tahun adalah dengan menggunakan anggota tubuhnya sebagai media pembelajaran. Hal ini senada dengan teknik-teknik yang dilakukan pada program sensory integrasi. Namun sayangnya belum banyak orang tua yang mengetahui hal ini sehingga sering muncul permasalahan dalam perkembangan anak.Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah meningkatkan kesadaran orangtua untuk melakukan proses belajar mengajar dengan cara-cara yang sesuai dengan usia dan tahapan perkembangan yang dimiliki oleh anak sehingga anak dapat berkembang dengan optimal. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan membuat perencanaan kegiatan, menentukan lokasi kegiatan dan melakukan program psikoedukasi pada orangtua anak-anak pada yayasan Darul Syifa Wal Aitam Kranji, Bekasi. Kegiatan ini sebagai usaha untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan orangtua tentang pentingnya sensori integrasi dan dampak yang didapatkan apabila sensori anak tidak terintegrasi dengan baik. Manfaat dari pengabdian ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan orang tua tentang penggunaan metode sensori integrasi sehingga dapat digunakan untuk mengoptimalkan tumbuh kembang anakanaknya .
