Background: Anxiety in children who will undergo circumcision is recognized as part of the trauma experienced by children due to actions that are considered dangerous for themselves. Excessive anxiety in pre circumcision can be prevented through one of the techniques of deep breathing relaxation.  Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of relaxation techniques on anxiety in patients with pre-circumcision surgery at the Circumcised House Sarirogo, Sidoarjo. Design: The population target was all of the patient for the circumcision in the Circumcised House of Sarirogo, Sidoarjo as many as 28 respondents. The technique sampling in this study used Consecutive Sampling technique. The sample size obtained 22 respondents. The independent variable in this study is relaxation techniques and the dependent variable is the anxiety of pre-circumcision patients. Data were taken using a questionnaire about anxiety given to respondents before and after relaxation techniques were carried out on 1–15 September 2020. This study used Wilcoxon Statistic Test and this research design used a pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest design. Results: The results showed as many as 7 respondents (31.8%) experienced severe anxiety levels before the relaxation technique was applied, while after being given relaxation techniques, the respondent's anxiety level decreased to 3 respondents (13.6%o). Based on statistical analysis result, it found that relaxation technique affects to the level of anxiety positively (p-value = .000). Conclusion: Relaxation techniques in nursing interventions are to divert or distance the client's attention to something that is being faced. While the benefits of this technique, that is, so that someone who receives this technique feels more comfortable, relaxed, and feels in a pleasant position.

Abstract :Among preschoolers,  illness is  a scary thing. Children have limitations in coping mechanisms to overcome the crisis. Audiovisual intervention in watching cartoons is a distraction technique to reduce anxiety in children. The purpose of the study was to analyze the effect of audiovisual cartoon movie on anxiety levels during injection procedures in preschool children. The design of this study was using Pre-experimental pretest and posttest one group design. The research collecting the data using purposive sampling technique on 28 respondents. Independent variable audiovisual watching cartoons, while dependent variable is anxiety level. The instrument used is SOP and HAR-S anxiety scale. Statistical tests using the Paired Sample T-Test, with significance p <0.05. From the results of the statistical analysis, the sig value was obtained (p = 0.001, t=11.71) which means an audiovisual intervention by on watching  cartoons movie was effective to reduce  anxiety levels during the injection procedure in preschool children. We suggest that audiovisual intervention by watching cartoons movie  can be applied as one of the nursing interventions to reduce anxiety during injection procedures in preschool children.   Keywords: Anxiety, Audiovisual, Injection Procedure, Preschool Children

Pain and hospitalization create a crisis for the lives of children, because in hospitals children have to face a strange environment and meet caregivers they do not know. In this process the child can experience various events or experiences of hospitalization that are traumatic and full of anxiety. Professional nurses can play a role in reducing feelings of fear, anxiety and pain that are felt by children through service using therapeutic communication. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between therapeutic communication of nurses and anxiety levels of preschoolers age. The study design used correlational analysis with a cross-sectional approach. The population is parents with children who experienced hospitalization 67 respondents with a sampling technique using purposive sampling. The results of this study were nearly half the nurses had deficient therapeutic communication (44.8%) and almost half of the patients had severe anxiety levels (44.8%). The results of the Spearman test were obtained (r count) amounting to -0,904 and p value 0,000 so it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between therapeutic communication nurses with anxiety levels of hospitalization in children. This study is expected so that nurses can improve therapeutic communication skills in providing nursing services through therapeutic communication training programs.

Appendectomy is a surgical procedure for appendicitis. This action can cause the perception of pain so that it has an impact on the healing process and triggers further complications if left untreated. Deep breathing relaxation techniques combined with aromatherapy is one of the treatments done to help overcome post appendectomy pain. This study purposed to determine the effect of deep breath relaxation with lavender aromatherapy on the level of post appendectomy pain in the Janger Room RSD Mangusada. This study is a pre-experimental research with one group pretest and posttest design involving 32 samples selected through purposive sampling technique. Collecting data using a research instrument in the form of the Numerical Rating Scale observation sheet. The results showed that there was an effect of deep breath relaxation with lavender aromatherapy on the level of post appendectomy pain in the Janger Room at RSD Mangusada (p-value = 0,000). This research can be applied in the provision of nursing services as one of the nursing interventions to reduce post appendectomy patient pain.

<p>Fracture is a crack on bones that is caused by trauma, or other physical energy so that the medical fracture patient will experience start from light until a heavy level of pain. According to data RSI Siti Khadijah Palembang, the number one of patients fractures tend to increase in 2016 as many 423 people. The aim of this study is to see whether there is or is not any breath relaxation technique in case of relieving the pain of fracture patients. This study is using the pre-experimental design in an involving a subject group, with One group Pretest-Posttest project. Sample taking technique is performed with Purposive Sampling method that consumes 30 respondents. This study is performed on 15th of June- 14th of July 2017 in RSI Siti Khadijah Palembang. The summary of the research shows that before the internal breath relaxation technique is done from 30 respondents, 10 of them experience the pain on scale of 4 as equal as (35,7%), either experience the  reduction after the breath relaxation technique is done on scale of 2 and 3 each 8 respondents or as equal as (28,6%). The statistics test result that is using the Wilcoxon check (p-value=0.001) &lt; α (0,05) is obtained which that means there is an effect of breath relaxation technique according to the pain revelation of medical fracture patients in RSI Siti Khadijah Palembang on 2017. With this study, it is expected that health workers can implement deep breathing relaxation techniques to reduce pain in fracture patients.</p>

Murottal therapy is one type of music therapy that has a positive influence on listeners, where when someone listens to murottal therapy it will provide stimulation to the eardrum which will then be transmitted through the auditory nerve to the auditory cortex in the brain so that there will be a decrease in cortisol which can cause a relaxed feeling. and comfortable. This study aims to determine the effect of audio murottal al-qur'an relaxation therapy on the anxiety level of patients treated in the ICU. The research method used is quantitative research with quasi-experimental design and one group pretest posttest design and statistical test using Wicolxon test. The population studied were patients who were treated in the ICU room of Aminah Hospital and the sample studied was 38 people who were taken by using purposive sampling technique. The results of the study using the Wicolxon statistical test, obtained p value = 0.000 (p < = 0.05), it can be concluded that there is an effect of anxiety levels before and after giving murottal Al-Qu'an therapy to decrease anxiety levels. From the results of this study, it is hoped that all health workers in the ICU will continue to improve their performance and routinely provide Ar-Rahman letter therapy to patients who experience anxiety while being treated in the ICU.   Abstrak Terapi murottal merupakan salah satu jenis terapi musik yang memiliki pengaruh positif pada pendengar, dimana saat seseorang mendengarkan terapi murottal maka akan memberikan rangsangan pada gendang telinga yang kemudian akan diteruskan melalui saraf pendengaran ke korteks pendengaran di otak sehingga akan terjadi penurunan kortisol yang dapat menimbulkan perasaan santai dan nyaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi relaksasi audio murottal al-qur’an terhadap tingkat kecemaasan pasien yang di rawat di ruangan ICU. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen semu dan rancangan one group pretest posttest serta uji statistik menggunakan Uji Wicolxon. Populasi yang diteliti adalah pasien yang di rawat di ruangan ICU Rumah Sakit Aminah dan sampel yang diteliti sebanyak 38 orang yang diambil dengan cara menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan uji statistik wicolxon di dapatkan p value = 0.000 (p<α=0.05), maka dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh tingkat kecemasan sebelum dan sesudah pemberikan terapi murottal Al-Qu'an terhadap penurunan tingkat kecemasan. Dari hasil penelitian ini diharapkan kepada semua petugas kesehatan yang ada di ruang ICU agar tetap meningkatkan kinerja dan rutin memberikan terapi surat Ar-Rahman kepada pasien yang mengalami kecemasan saat di rawat di ruang ICU.

Appendicitis is an inflammation of the appendix. Post-appendectomy patients often experience pain from the surgical wound incisions. Pain will have an impact on daily activities. Therefore, independent nursing action is needed by performing simple and easy pain management; one methods is finger grip relaxation. To measure the effect of finger relaxation techniques on pain reduction in post-appendectomy patients, this study used a literature review method. The data was collected by searching on Google Scholar website with the following keywords: Finger Grip Relaxation Techniques, Pain, and Appendicitis. It was found that in post-appendectomy surgery patients before being given a finger grip relaxation technique, the patients experienced moderate pain, then after being given a finger grip relaxation technique, the pain intensity decreased and effectively. Data were analysed by Paired T-Test with a significant value α=0.005. The results showed the average result before intervention was 4.80 and the average result after intervention was 3.87. The bivariate results obtained p-value 0,000. It shows that there are differences in pain intensity before and after finger grip relaxation techniques are performed in post-appendectomy patients [3]. It can be concluded that finger grip relaxation techniques can be used as an intervention in the hospital or at home to reduce pain in post-appendectomy patients.     Keywords: Finger Grip Relaxation Techniques, Pain, Appendicitis.

Based on the violent behavior, the data obtained in the last 6 months using population of psychiatric inpatients with violent behavior of 64 patients. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of forgiveness therapy that focused on emotions of violent behavior in post restrain schizophrenia. This research method used a Quasi-experimental design. The independent variable was forgiveness therapy that focused on emotions. The dependent variable was violent behavior. The populations were 64 patients with violent behavior using a simple random sampling technique and for the sample were 52 patients. Collecting data using general adaptive function response score (GAFR) observation sheets with Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney statistical tests. Wilcoxon test showed (p-value 0.002) after being given forgiveness therapy. The Wilcoxon test showed (p-value 0.513) after being given therapy that focused on emotions it can be concluded that there are differences in violent behavior before and after therapy of forgiveness and therapy that focused on emotions. Mann Whitney test results obtained (p-value 0.016) remission therapy was more effective in reducing the violent behavior of post restrain schizophrenia.

ABSTRACT The object of this research is to determine the effect of deep breathing relaxation techniques on the intensity of maternal pain during the first latent phase in Anatapura Midwifery Clinic. The research method used pre-experimental pretest-posttest design. The research sample was a part of maternity mothers who were selected based on the criteria determined by researchers at Anatapura Midwifery Clinic. The number of samples were 15 respondents. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed by univariate and bivariate analysis with the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that, from total 15 respondents, before the deep breath relaxation technique, there were 11 people (73.3%) who had average pain and 4 people (26.7%) who had high pain and after deep breathing relaxation techniques, there were 12 people (80%) who had low pain and 3 people (20%) who had average pain. The Wilcoxon test results showed p value 0,000 (P <0.05). As conclusion, there is an effect of deep breathing relaxation techniques towards the intensity of maternal pain during the first latent phase in the Anatapura Midwifery Clinic. It is suggested for midwives at PBM Anatapura to actively use the deep breathing relaxation methods to reduce labor pain and to improve patient care.Keywords : Pain relaxation techniques, intensity, maternity

Background: Outcome expectancy could mediate the psychological effects of exercise-related interventions, which implies that part of the psychological benefits of physical activity could be ascribed to placebo effects. (Szabo & Kocsis, 2017) Purpose: Knowing the effects of relaxation breathing on Anxiety in patients with psychosocial problems in the family during the pandemic Methods: The type of research used is quantitative quasi experimental, non-equivalent, control group pretest and posttest design. The population in this study was some family members who have anxiety problem with the sample of 39 respondents. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique. Results: The average levels a score before 61,08% and after 60,82% deep breath of relaxation with p value = 0.043 (<0.05). It can be concluded that deep breathing relaxation techniques has effects on the reduction of anxiety in some of family member Conclusion: Deep breathing relaxation techniques can reduce reduction in effects on the reduction in some of family member. Recommendation to reduce management to be applied a deep breathing relaxation techniques as standard of operational procedures (SOP) in the context of nursing care, especially to effects on the reduction in some of family member especially at pandemic

Background: Fracture is a break of tissue continuity caused by trauma or physical exertion. Surgery or operative action is a management of fracture that can cause anxiety. One of therapy to reduce anxiety can use deep breathing relaxation techniques to reduce tension especially preoperative moment. Objective: To determine effect of deep breathing relaxation techniques on anxiety level of  femur fracture preoperative patient in Karima Utama Surgical Hospital. Method: The type of research used quantitative research with a Quasi Experiment with Pre Test and Post Test Nonequivalent Control Group design. Sampling technique used Accidental Sampling as many as 30 respondents. Analysis data used Mann-Whitney test with  confidence level of 95%. Result: Obtained P-value = 0.000 means there is a significant effect on the administration of deep breathing relaxation techniques on the anxiety level of femur fracture preoperative patients. Conclusion: There was a significant effect on the administration of deep breathing relaxation techniques on the anxiety level of femur fracture preoperative patients in the Karima Utama Surgical Hospital.
