This study aims to determine the relationship between conformity and consumptive behavior at football supporters of Semen Padang FC. This type of research is quantitative correlation with 70 subject which are Spartacks football supporters who were in Padang city. Subject retrieval is using incidental techniques. The data is processed by using a Product Moment Correlation technique. The hypothesis test results prove that there is a significant positive correlation between conformity with consumptive behavior at Semen Padang FC football supporters. There is a very significant positive relationship between conformity and consumptive behavior So it is advisable to football supporters to selective in buying the football attribute, both in quality and quantity Keywords: Conformity, consumptive behavior, supporter   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara konformitas dengan perilaku konsumtif pada kelompok suporter sepakbola Semen Padang FC. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Kuantitatif korelasional dengan subjek 70 orang Spartacks yang berada di kota Padang. Pengambilan subjek menggunakan teknik incidental. Data diolah menggunakan teknik korelasi Product Moment. Hasil pengujian hipotesis membuktikan bahwa terdapat korelasi positif yang signifikan antara konformitas dengan perilaku konsumtif pada suporter sepakbola Semen Padang FC. Terdapat hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan antara konformitas dengan perilaku konsumtif sehingga disarankan kepada suporter sepakbola agar selektif dalam membeli atribut sepakbola, baik secara kualitas maupun kuantitas.  Kata Kunci: Konformitas, perilaku konsumtif, suporter

This study aimed to know the relationship between hedonic lifestyle with consumptive behavior among adolescents. The hypothesis in this study there was a positive relationship between hedonic lifestyle with consumptive behavior among adolescents. The subjects of this study were 141 Psychology students who were 18-21 years old. The data were collected using the hedonic lifestyle and consumptive behavior scale.The data analysis of this study using Product Moment correlation technique. The result of this study showed that there was a positive correlation between hedonic lifestyle with consumer behavior of adolescence (rxy = 0,595 dengan p = 0,000 ( p < 0,05). Based on the result, the hypotesis in this study can be accepted.

This research aimed to examine the relationship between religiousity andsubjective well being among coronary heart patients in X hospital. It was hypothesizedthat there is a positive relationship between religiousity and subjective well being. Therewere 67 coronary heart patients in this research between the ages of 40 and 80 years old.Data analysis using Product Moment correalation technique showed r = 0,417 with p <0,01 pointing out that there is significant positive correlation between religiousity andsubjective well being. That result proved that hypothesis was accepted. Anotherconclusion of this study is religiousity and subjective well being of coronary heart patientsare at the medium category.

The current study attempts to explore the relationship between public perceptions of National Integration in Pakistani Television Dramas by the viewers. The hypothesis that there is likely to be significant positive correlation between tendency to watch television and National Integration was approved as the value of correlation-Coefficient is significant p< 0.005. The hypothesis, there is likely to be a significant positive relationship between PTV dramas showing Cultural cultivation and National Integration was also approved as results showing positive significant relationship between variables. The hypothesis, compliance of code of ethics by PTV and other Private channels and National Integration was approved showed by Coefficient significant p<0.005. Demographic characteristics of the participants as a predictor for National Integration showed predictable variance and was significant F (25,375) =2.56, P<0.005. Tendency of watching TV dramas, efforts by PTV dramas positively predict National Integration, variance of the prediction F (34,366) =3.4.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) hubungan antara keterlibatan dalam organisasi BEM dengan keterampilan berpikir kritis, (2) hubungan antara keterlibatan dalam organisasi dengan sikap demokratis, dan (3) hubungan antara keterampilan berpikir kritis dan sikap demokratis mahasiswa STKIP Weetebula. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasi. Jumlah populasi 30 orang pengurus BEM STKIP Weetebula. Data diperoleh melalui penyebaran angket pada 30 mahasiswa tentang keterlibatan organisasi dan sikap demokratis, serta angket observasi untuk mengetahui keterampilan berpikir kritis. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis korelasi. Uji hipotesis adalah uji parametric dengan rumus korelasi product moment untuk menguji hubungan antara variabel, yaitu keterlibatan dalam organisasi dengan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan sikap demokratis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara: (1) keterlibatan organisasi dengan keterampilan berpikir kritis. (2) keterlibatan organisasi dengan sikap demokratis. (3) keterampilan berpikir kritis dengan sikap demokratis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut maka keterlibatan mahasiswa STKIP Weetebula dalam organisasi BEM memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan sikap demokratis.Kata kunci: keterlibatan organisasi, keterampilan berpikir kritis dan sikap demokratis mahasiswa THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE INVOLVEMENT IN THE ORGANIZATION OF STUDENTS' EXECUTIVE BODY AND THE CRITICAL THINKING SKI1LS AND DEMOCRATIC ATTITUDES OF STUDENTSAbstractThis study aims to find out the relationship:  (1) between the involvement in the organization of SEB and the critical thinking skills, (2) between the involvement in the organization of SEB and their democratic attitudes, and (3)  between the critical thinking skills and their democratic attitudes. This  research was  a correlational   study using  the quantitative approach. It was a population study; the population comprised 30 students who were board members of SEB of STKIP Weetebula. The data were collected by distributing questionnaires on the involvement in the organizations and democratic  attitudes to 30 students and those on their critical thinking skills to several lecturers. The data analysis technique was the correlation technique. The hypothesis testing employed a parametric test using the product moment correlation formula. The results of the study are as follows. (I) There is a significant positive relationship between the involvement in the organization of SEB and the critical thinking skills. (2) There is a significant positive relationship between the involvement in the organization of SEB and the democratic attitudes of students. (3) There is a significant positive relationship between the critical thinking skills and the democratic attitudes. Based on the analysis finding, the result show that the involvement in the organization of students’ executive body has significant positive relationship with the critical thinking skills and democratic attitudes of students of STKIP Weetebula of the regency of Sumba Barat Daya).Keywords: involvement  in organization, students'  critical  thinking skills and democratic attitudes

ABSTRACT           The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between brand image and making the decision of choosing Departement.          Subjects in this study were students Departement UST Psychology Yogyakarta. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The method of analysis used in this study is from Karl Pearson Product Moment.The results of the analysis of decision-making variable data with variable pick Faculty  brand image in showing the value of r = 0,619 with significant level p = 0,000 ( p < 0,05). Based on the results of correlation can be stated that there is a significant positive relationship between brand image by selecting the decision-making department of psychology UST Yogyakarta.          Correlation test test results showed that the variables of brand image to decision choosing faculty has determinant coefficient of 0,383. Means variable brand image in contributing effectively to decision making choosing Departement by 38,3 %,  while the remaining 61,7 % is influenced by other factors such as external factors which consist of prince and promotion or marketing and internal factors consist of motivation to decision making and attitudes towards decision making. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara kohesivitas kelompok dengan komitmen organisasi pada Financial Advisor di agen asuransi “X” Yogyakarta. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan positif antara kohesivitas kelompok dengan komitmen organisasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah sejumlah Financial Advisor di agen asuransi “X” Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua skala, yaitu Skala Komitmen Organmisasi (18 Aaitem) yang mengacu pada aspek-aspek komitmen organisasi yang dipaparkan oleh Allen and Meyer (1990) r = 0,943 serta Skala Kohesivitas Kelompok yang disusun berdasarkan dimensi kohesivitas kelompok oleh Forsyth (1999) r = 0,942. Analisis data menggunakan teknik korelasi product moment dari Pearson. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan antara kohesivitas kelompok dengan komitmen organisasi (R = 0,680 dan p = 0.000, p< 0,01), makin tinggi tingkat kohesivitas kelompok, makin tinggi pula komitmen organisasi. Kata kunci : komitmen organisasi, kohesivitas kelompok  GROUP COHESIVENESS AND ORGANIZATION COMMITMENT AMONG FINANCIAL ADVISORS IN INSURANCE FIRM “X” YOGYAKARTA Abstract This research objective was to verify the relationship between group cohesiveness and organization commitment among financial advisors in insurance firm “X” Yogyakarta. Hypothesis of this study was there is a positive relationship between group cohesiveness with organization commitment. The subjects of the research were some financial advisor in Insurance agent “X” Yogyakarta. This research used two scales, namely : (a) Organization commitment scale (18 items) that refers to the aspect that presented by Allen and Meyer (1990) r = 0,943 and (b) Group cohesiveness scale (20 items) that refers to group cohesiveness dimension that presented by Forsyth (1999) r = 0,942. Data analysis employed Pearson’s product moment correlation technique. The result showed that there were very significant positive relationship between group cohesiveness and organization commitment (R = 0,680 and p = 0.000, p< 0, 01) the higher group cohesiveness level, the higher organization commitment. Keywords: organization commitment, group cohesiveness

This study aimed to determine the relationship between tawadhu'and self adjustment to interpersonal communication among the students of University X in Yogyakarta. Respondents in this study are 166 students at University X of Yogyakarta. Analisys data used assumption test, hypothesis test and different test. Interpersonal communication was measured using the scale of Yulianto (2010) based on the theory of De Vito (1997), tawadhu 'was measured using the scale of Thalib's (1991) theory and self-adjustment was measured using the scale used by Wahyudi (2012) based on Fatimah (2010). The results of the study have shown that there is a significant positive relationship between tawadhu'and interpersonal communication on the new students at University X of Yogyakarta, and there is a positive relationship between self-adjustment and interpersonal communication to new students at Universitas X of Yogyakarta.

This study aims to determine the relationship of loneliness with problematic internet use on boarding students on Silaberanti street in Siantan jaya Opposite Ulu 1 Palembang city. Research subjects numbered 220 people using random sampling methods. Data was collected using a 60 item problematic internet use scale and a 60 item loneliness. Realibility is generated on scale of problematic internet use of 0,955 and loneliness of 0,946.Hypothesis testing uses product moment correlation analysis techniques. Hypothesis test results showed a positive relationshif between loneliness with problematic internet use on boarding students on Silaberanti street in Siantan jaya Opposite Ulu 1 Palembang city r= 0,684 with a significance level of 0,000 (p<0,01). Loneliness in this study made an effective contribution of 46,8% to problematic internet use which can be seen from the coefficient of determination (r²) that is equel to 0,468.

Love is more than a close friendship. It acts as a major facilitator of interpersonal relationship. Love is positive in nature and leaves a positive affect on every individual. An individual in love not only feels positive but spreads positivity around. They smile, be kind to other people, behave compassionately with everyone. If the person is happy then he is likely to be psychologically and emotionally healthy. The current study aimed at understanding the relationship between love, affect and wellbeing among young females aged between 20-25 years. The study reported a significant positive relationship between love and positive affect with the significant correlation of 0.29 at 0.05 levels (p<0.05). It was also found a significant positive relationship between love and wellbeing with the significant correlation of 0.58 at 0.01 level (p<0.01). This means that people in love experience positive emotions and healthy wellbeing. The correlation between love and negative affect came out to be insignificant. The correlation turned out to be -0.13. This means that people in love do not experience negative emotions.

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between students’ personality and environment with their Indonesian Language ability. This research was conducted in South Tangerang City involving 392 2nd grade students. This research method used correlational method with quantitative approach by using descriptive statistics. Data was collected using an assessment scale instrument and analyzed by using correlation technique (regression). The results of this study showed that: (1) There was a positive relationship between personality and students’ Indonesian Language ability with a significant level of α = 0.05, obtained tcal 8.77 ˃ ttable 1.97. (2) There wasa positive relationship between the environment and the students’ Indonesian Language ability with a significant level of α = 0.05, which obtained 9.03 ˃ t table 1.97. (3) There was a positive relationship between personality and environment with the students’ Indonesian Language ability; with a significant level of α = 0.05, obtained tcal 7.92 ˃ t table 1.97. The Implications of the study identified that Indonesian Language ability of the students can be influenced by their personality and environment.
