The education of Tahfidz Al-quran is a trend of Al-qur’an education in modern era. It is a flagship program for elementary schools / madrasahs under the auspices of the Islamic boarding school foundation. This study aims to find out more about what, why and how the process of memorizing the Qur’an students at House of Qur’an Rowotengah was carried out. From the results of observations that have been made, problems arise from parents' concerns about their children who are addicted to gadgets / smartphones. So, parents choose to force their children to join in this program. It used the qualitative research method.  The process of extracting data and gathering the information used interview, observation and documentation. The results of this study prove that the memorizing the Qur’an’s education program for children in elementary school / Madrasah at House of Qur’an Rowotengah provides many benefits for students, parents, and the environment / society. The conclusion of this study shows that there are two methods of teaching tahfidz Al-quran, namely; the process of memorizing Al-quran with peer review and by teachers. As well as participating in routine competitions at the sub-district, district and national levels. Thus, this learning program must be cultivated in the community to create students' love for Al-quran. Pendidikan Tahfidz Al-qur’an merupakan sebuah tren-pendidikan Al-qur’an di era modern saat ini. Program kegiatan ini menjadi sebuah program unggulan bagi sekolah dasar/ madrasah yang berada dibawah naungan yayasan pondok pesantren. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui lebih dalam tentang apa, mengapa dan bagaimana proses kegiatan Tahfidz Al-qur’an anak didik di Rumah Qur'an Ar-Roudhoh Rowotengah dilaksanakan. Dari hasil observasi yang telah dilakukan, permasalahan muncul dari kekhawatiran orangtua terhadap anak mereka yang addicted terhadap gadget/ smartphone. Sehingga, orangtua memilih untuk memaksa anak mereka mengikuti program Tahfidz. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, proses penggalian data dan innformasi menggunakan tekhnik interview, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa program pendidikan Tahfidz Al-qur’an pada anak di bangku sekolah dasar/ Madrasah di Rumah Qur'an Ar-Roudhoh Rowotengah memberikan banyak manfaat bagi peserta didik, orangtua, serta lingkungan/ masyarakat. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat dua metode pengajaran tahfidz Al- qur’an, yaitu: proses hafalan Al- qur’an dengan tijauan sejawat dan oleh ustadzah. Serta mengikuti lomba rutin di tingkat kecamatan, kabupaten dan nasional Sehingga, program pembelajran ini harus di budidayaka

The finding result of Alfred Binnet dan Theodore Simon (1905) about IQ (Intelligence Quotient) is perceived by many people as a determined factor of an individual success in various life sectors. Therefore, the emphasizing on academic activities in schools including elementary schools is based on intellect/IQ and hard skills over soft skills. However, IQ and / or intellect approach has not succeeded yet in improving a student’s learning achievement in academic performance results, hard skills, moreover soft skills. This research is aimed to understand deeply on the importance and the need of soft skills development in schools especially elementary school. The study employs qualitative research method with multiple case study design, in which a meaning making activity is underlined as the first objective of interpretive research in understanding social phenomena of education activities. The phenomena of soft skillsoccurs in real-life events andcurrent situation, as well as programs and activities. In this qualitative research method the researcher conducted three main activities such as in-depth interview, observation and to get relevant data collection in order to enrich and complete the previous obtained data. Based on findings, it is known substantively that students’ soft skills will not be developed if the instructional management focuses on academic. Besides, soft skills will enhance significantly students’ academic results, because soft skills will enable and improve students’ potentials to reach the best learning achievement. In Islamic perspective, the quality of soft skills within akhlak-adab domain will be more better if soft skills’ development are referred to a sound heart (qolbun salim). Finally, it is shown in formal finding that the instructional management of students’ soft skills is a must and it is importance to be implemented in education particularly in elementary school.

Arabic has a special place among the other languages of the world because Arabic is the language of the Qur'an and the Sunnah of Rasulullah SAW. To learn it, ulama agreed to put sharf and nahwu (qawaid) as the basis. One book that discusses is Alfiyah which is the book of Imam Jamaluddin Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Malik. In presenting qawaid in that kitab, the teacher requires special methods and strategies. For that by using descriptive qualitative research method, this research illustrates that a teacher at Madrasah Diniyah Wustha Al-Muayyad Surakarta using three methods, 1) qawaid wa tarjamah method, 2) Tahfidh wa Tasmi' method, and 3) lecturing method. Then, within each of these methods are translated into several strategies. The implementation of this strategy tailored to the Madrasah Diniyah Wustha at the environment Al-Muayyad boarding school in Surakarta.

The purpose of this study was to determine the strategies, approaches, stages and results of the life value education program in the education of supernormal children in MAN 2 Madiun City. Qualitative research method was conducted by direct observation and gained the results of this study which were that the Living Values Education Program (LVEP) acceleration class of MAN 2 in Madiun City is done by habituation, lecture, hands-on practice, discussion, performance, assignments, and visits to religious places, and uswah hasanah. The holistic approach (integrated and synchronized) in which the development of character values is integrated and interconnected in all aspects of the madrasa environment. The stages of reviving the value in children accelerated starting with the quarantine process. Through this LVEP, it is certain that children have personalities based on religious and cultural noble values. The conclusion of this research is that the LVEP approach has delivered supernormal children of MAN 2 Madiun City to have an awareness of high values, virtuous character and aware of the importance of exemplary and practice of values themselves in appreciating "good value" in children, as well as reflect on it. Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi, pendekatan, tahapan dan hasil program pendidikan nilai kehidupan dalam pendidikan anak-anak supernormal di MAN 2 Kota Madiun. Metode penelitian kualitatif dilakukan dengan observasi langsung dan diperoleh hasil penelitian ini yaitu bahwa kelas akselerasi Living Values Education Program (LVEP) MAN 2 di Kota Madiun dilakukan dengan pembiasaan, kuliah, praktik langsung, diskusi, kinerja, tugas, dan kunjungan ke tempat-tempat relijius, dan uswah hasanah. Pendekatan holistik (terintegrasi dan tersinkronisasi) di mana pengembangan nilai karakter terintegrasi dan saling berhubungan dalam semua aspek lingkungan madrasah. Tahapan menghidupkan kembali nilai pada anak dimulai dengan proses karantina. Melalui LVEP ini, dapat dipastikan bahwa anak-anak memiliki kepribadian berdasarkan nilai-nilai luhur agama dan budaya. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa pendekatan LVEP telah menjadikan anak-anak supernormal dari MAN 2 Kota Madiun untuk memiliki kesadaran akan nilai-nilai tinggi, karakter berbudi luhur dan menyadari pentingnya teladan dan praktik nilai-nilai itu sendiri dalam menghargai "nilai baik" pada anak. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the role of the Serang Regency Education Office in implementing the 9 (nine) year compulsory education program in Serang Banten Regency, to determine the obstacles faced by the Serang Regency Education Office in implementing the 9 (nine) year compulsory education program to fulfill their rights. learning children, and to find out the efforts made by the Serang District Education Office. This study used a descriptive qualitative research method with depiction of facts, data in the form of language expressions and appropriate and systematic interviews. The results of this study indicate that the role of the Serang Dalan district education office in implementing the 9 (nine) year compulsory education program to fulfill children's learning rights has carried out its main duties and functions, namely carrying out regional government affairs in the education sector. AbstractThis research is motivated by the lack of application of spiritual and social values which are considered important in the implementation of congregational prayers in order to achieve the goal of perfect worship, both physically and mentally. The purpose of this study is to determine the meaning of the spiritual and social values of students in congregational prayers at the La Tansa Islamic Boarding School. To find out the process of applying the spiritual and social values of students in congregational prayers, as well as their implications for the lives of students at the La Tansa Islamic Boarding School. The research method used is a qualitative research method. The data collection tools used observational analysis, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that spiritual values are values contained in the human soul, which in the human soul has a spirit. The essence of spiritual value is the spirit. Everyone must have a spirit and that spirit is in their own soul. The only one who knows about the spirit is Allah while the creatures do not. While social values are values held by society, regarding what is considered good and what is considered bad by society.Keywords: Social Values, Spiritual Values, Islamic Boarding School

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the management of the school operational assistance fund (BOS). This research was conducted at SDN 34./1 Teratai. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method. Where the focus of this research is to describe / describe the Implementation of BOS SD Fund Management in 34 / I Teratai Public Elementary School, Muara Bulian Subdistrict, Batang Hari Regency, 2017. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the analysis carried out, it can be concluded that the implementation of the management of BOS funds at SDN 34 / I Teratai has been running as it should in accordance with the Responsibility instructions for the use of BOS funds in 2017 even though the management of BOS funds has been carried out as well as possible but errors and shortcomings are still found even though only a small scope such as misplaced position and tax issues and even then it does not happen again but it is not an intentional element of the BOS funds manager and the problems encountered can still be corrected and resolved properly.

This article aims to determine the learning objectives of the Kitab Kuning (Books in Arabic Script used in Pesantren/Dayah) for the beginners of Santri Dayah Darul Huda Langsa City, to find out the responses of students in learning the Kitab Kuning for Santri beginners Dayah Darul Huda Langsa City, and to find out implementation of the method of learning the Kitab Kuning for Santri Dayah Darul Huda Langsa City. This article's research method is a descriptive qualitative research method that produces data in the form of written and oral words of the subject under study. This article results are: The purpose of learning the Kitab Kuning in Dayah Darul Huda Langsa City is to improve students' quality in understanding and reading the Kitab Kuning well. The students' response is outstanding in learning the Kitab Kuning as a lesson that students must follow and must be passed according to the minimum standard of a grade determined by the curriculum and teaching of Dayah. The dominant methods used by teachers are the sorogan and bandongan method. The research implication is how students can read the Kitab Kuning correctly and adequately to achieve the learning objectives according to the institution's wishes.

This study aims to describe the social competence of homeschoolers, learning tutors visit program at ANSA School Semarang, and the influence of the learning program on the social competence of homeschoolers. The research was conducted using descriptive qualitative research method involving four homeschoolers equivalent to Junior High School (SMP) grades VII and VIII and some relevant resources. The results show that the social competence of the four homeschoolers is good enough according to some indicators in this resarch, for instance their openness to others. Moreover, the learning tutor visit program organized by ANSA School is a highly structured and systematic learning program with the aim to provide learning facilities for children who have special need, so the learning program visit tutor could be categorize to be one of the homeschooler competency forming factors. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kompetensi sosial homeschooler, program pembelajaran tutor visit di Ansa School Semarang, serta pengaruh antara program pembelajaran tersebut terhadap kompetensi sosial homeschooler. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, melibatkan empat homeschooler setara Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) kelas VII dan VIII, serta beberapa narasumber terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi sosial yang dimiliki oleh keempat homeschooler cukup baik yang ditunjukkan dengan terpenuhinya beberapa indikator-indikator dalam penelitian serta keterbukaan mereka terhadap orang lain. Kemudian, program pembelajaran tutor visit yang diselenggarakan oleh Ansa School merupakan program pembelajaran yang sangat terstruktur dan sistematis dengan tujuan untuk memberikan fasilitas belajar bagi anak-anak yang memiliki kebutuhan khusus, sehingga program pembelajaran tutor visit dapat disimpulkan menjadi salah satu faktor pembentuk kompetensi sosial homeschooler. Abstract:. One of the goals of mathematical education is for students to have the ability to solve problems that include the ability to understand problems, design math models, complete the model and interpret the solutions obtained. So that students are expected to solve the problems that they encounter in their daily lives. However, difficulties can not be avoided when students are faced with the problems they encountered. The purpose of this study is to explain 1) Student difficulties in completing problem-solving question based on Polya's approach; 2) The cause of student difficulty in completing problem solving. Research method used is descriptive qualitative research method. The subject of this research is the fourth grade students in one elementary school in West Bandung Regency with a total of 30 students. Once analyzed, the results obtained are that students are having difficulty at 1) Determining the way in which the solution should be done to solve the problem; 2) Perform correct count operation 3) Conclude from result obtained. Abstrak: Salah satu dari tujuan pendidikan matematika adalah agar siswa memiliki kemampuan untuk memecahkan masalah yang meliputi kemampuan memahami masalah, merancang model matematika, menyelesaikan model dan menafsirkan solusi yang diperoleh. Sehingga siswa diharapkan mampu menyelesaikan permasalahan yang ia temui dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Namun, kesulitan-kesulitan tidak dapat dihindari ketika siswa dihadapkan pada persoalan yang ia temui. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan 1) Kesulitan-kesulitan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal pemecahan masalah berdasarkan langkah menurut Polya; 2) Penyebab kesulitan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal pemecahan masalah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV di salah satu SD di Kabupaten Bandung Barat dengan jumlah siswa 30 orang. Setelah dianalisis, hasil yang diperoleh bahwa siswa mengalami kesulitan pada 1) Menentukan cara penyelesaian yang seharusnya dilakukan untuk menyelesaikan soal tersebut; 2) Melakukan operasi hitung secara benar 3) Membuat kesimpulan dari hasil yang telah diperoleh.

Pondok Pesantren in Bengkulu Province in the Dynamics of Modern Civilization. This paper aims to determine what the potential of pondok pesantren in Bengkulu Province is and how its strategy is in order to face the values of modern civilization. The research method used is qualitative research method with the type of descriptive-analytic research and with data sources are the leaders and caregivers of boarding schools in Bengkulu Province. According to his approach, this study uses sociological and phenomenological approaches. The results showed that pondok pesantren  in Bengkulu Province has potential that is divided into several things, firstly the potential of the majority Muslim community, the internal potential in the form of tradition of pesantren  consisting of kiai, santri, pondok, masjid and kitab kuning, then the potential of science development and technology based on tauhid and the last economic potential through the development of charity business pondok pesantren of various sectors in order to grow the independence of institutions, independence of managers and independence of students in the face of the values of modern civilization. The strategy of boarding school in facing the values of modern civilization can be seen from the strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats (SWOT). This paper mentioned that the strategy undertaken by boarding school in Bengkulu Province is modernization in education management, including on administration, organization, educators and education, supervision and evaluation.
