Religious activities in the village of Kalidilem are already running but there are still some residents, especially teenagers, who get drunk and promiscuity. To overcome this problem a Kampung Qur’an program is formed. Kampung Qur'an is one of the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU, Islamic Organization) Lumajang programs that synergizes with JQH in the form of a missionary institution tasked with spreading the message of da'wah with the Qur'an. The village of the Qur'an was fully surrendered to the NU Autonomous Agency in charge of al-Qur'an. In the process of da'wah an important thing to consider is the da'wah strategy. This research uses descriptive qualitative method, with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. The conclusion of this study is the da'wah strategy used by the Qur'an Village there are 5 namely: 1) Sentimental strategy: conducting regular recitation, giving advice with good words, such as calling mad'u as "O my brothers, O my children" . 2) Rational strategy: invite people to discuss together. 3) Sensory Strategy: direct the practice of worship. 4) Ta'lim strategy: holding al-Qur'an illiteracy eradication program, development of tahfidzul quran, qiro'atul quran, art of calligraphy, organizing majlis of Qur'an interpretation and interpreneur of the Qur'an. 5) emulate the Prophet's strategy. The inhibiting factor of the preaching strategy of Kampung Qur'an is the lack of capable human resources in the field of al-Qur'an studies, understanding community psychology and having metacognitive abilities and philosophical thinking. The implementation of Ngaben is one of the Balinese Hindu traditions for the ceremony of a death. The implementation of Ngaben is a ceremony with a series of many activities and invites a crowd of people. The COVID-19 pandemic period requires people not to carry out gathering activities so that they do not become the cause of the spread of the virus and how to keep ceremonial activities running without reducing meaning. The purpose of this study is to qualitatively identify the culture of gathering during cremation and the solutions offered so that gathering activities do not occur and become the spread of covid-19. This study used a qualitative method through a phenomenological approach, using 4 participants (people who are directly related to religious activities, including the community, community leaders namely head of the ward, 1 participant is a religious leader from the Indonesian Hindu Dharma Association in the Buleleng area). Sampling with nonprobability sampling and using purposive sampling. The results of the study found that there were 3 major themes that were found (1) Ngaben is local wisdom or as a very rigid culture, (2) Ngaben as a form of spreading covid and forming a covid cluster, (3) Changes in Ngaben cultural behavior from conventional to Crematorium. The conclusion is that the community cannot stop cremation activities because it is local wisdom, so to prevent new clusters of covid at the cremation ceremony, the community is required to change their behavior and slowly change the cremation that can be done in the crematorium.

Kampung Tajur is a unique village located in the village of Pasanggrahan, Purwakarta. Kampung Tajur has a variety of ecotourism potentials, but Kampung Tajur needs to improve the quality of service, especially in terms of guiding services. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the interpretation of the material for guidance in Kampung Tajur. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interviews and literature study. This research has several key informants in Kampung Tajur, such as tour guides and informants from the tourism industry, pokdarwis and community leaders in Kampung Tajur. Based on the research results, it was found that at this time the guides in Kampung Tajur did not have any reference material for interpretation. Interpretation is only done as it is. Meanwhile, the development of interpretation material faces several obstacles, one of which is the lack of human resources as a tour guide, especially as a guide for foreign tourists, so it is necessary to make a bilingual guidebook containing interpretation material for guides. Therefore, it is necessary to produce a bilingual guidebook containing translated material for tour guides. This is necessary to anticipate differences in interpretation between guides and clarity of interpretation for tourists.

This study explains empowering Indonesian Migrant Workers (IMW) through Productive Migrant Village Programs (PMVP) in the Banyumas Regency. PMVP is a program of the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia held since 2016. The program aims are to empower, improve services and protection for IMWs starting from the village. The paradigm of the study is a constructivist paradigm by using a critical model. The research method used is a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, which explores data to get the meaning of the basic and essential things of the empirical phenomena experienced by the research subject. The results of the research are 1). In providing information about the process of migrant workers faced with challenges from recruitment agencies/recruitment companies (Private Indonesian Migrant Worker Placement Agency). 2). In the stage of the production process, there are obstacles that the equipment provided by the Ministry cannot use. 3). The care of children of migrant workers is still individual only to their families. The community even still stigmatizes them as children who deserve problems since their parents abandoned them. 4). Late initiation of the migrant workers’ cooperatives. Procedures for establishing migrant workers cooperatives, mentoring, and guidance specifically related to migrant workers are needed.

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, pengevaluasian yang dilakukan majlis ta’lim as-sanusiyyah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa majlis ta’lim as-sanusiyyah dalam menerapkan  pola manajemen sudah cukup berhasil melalui Perencanaan yang diterapkan. Dalam merealisasikan perncanaan program kegiatan majlis ta’lim melakukan beberapa tahapan; dimulai dari perumusan tujuan, manajemen administrasi keuangan, sumber dana, sumber daya manusia, kerjasama dengan lembaga lain, sarana prasarana pengidentifikasian program, kebijakan pengambilan keputusan, dan penentuan program mulai dari program mingguan, bulanan, dan tahunan. Pengorganisasian; yang dilakukan oleh majlis ta’lim as-sanusiyyah meliputi pembagian kerja pengurus adapun pembagian kerja di majlis ta’lim as-sanusiyyah untuk pembina, pengawas, sekretaris, dan bendahara masa jabatannya tidak ditentukan oleh waktu atau kondisional berdasarkan kesepakatan bersama. Pelaksanaan aktivitas keagamaan; majlis ta’lim as-sanusiyyah mempunyai beberapa tahapan yaitu pemberian motivasi, bimbingan, pelatihan, penyelenggaraan komunikasi, dan menjalin hubungan. Pengevaluasian; yang dilaksanakan oleh Majlis ta’lim as-sanusiyyah terbagi menjadi dua yaitu pengawasan langsung dan pengawasan tidak langsung.   The purpose of this study was to find out how to plan, organize, implement, evaluate the majlis as-sanusiyyah majlis. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview, documentation. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the majlis ta'lim as-sanusiyyah in implementing the management pattern was quite successful through the applied planning. In realizing the planning program, the majlis ta'lim activities carried out several stages; starting from the formulation of objectives, financial administration management, funding sources, human resources, cooperation with other institutions, infrastructure facilities for identifying programs, decision-making policies, and determination of programs starting from weekly, monthly and annual programs. Organizing; what is carried out by the as-sanusiyyah majlis ta'lim includes the division of work of the board of directors as well as the division of labor in the as-sanusiyyah study council for supervisors, supervisors, secretaries, and treasurers whose term is not determined by time or conditionally based on mutual agreement. Implementation of religious activities; majlis ta'lim as-sanusiyyah has several stages, namely giving motivation, guidance, training, organizing communication, and establishing relationships. Evaluation; implemented by the Majlis ta'lim as-sanusiyyah is divided into two, namely direct supervision and indirect supervision.

The purpose of this research is to investigate the implementation of Kurikulum <br />Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (School-Based Curriculum) in MTsN Yogyakarta <br />II. Using descriptive qualitative method, the research successfully reveals that the MTsN II Yogyakrta provides some steps for implementing the School-Based Curriculum: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The first step, preparation, is started from making rules, regulations, technical guidelines and socialization, continued with organizing documents I and II of the curriculum. The second stage is the implementation of the School-Based  Curriculum itself. The result of the research shows that MTsN II Yogyakarta performs the curriculum according to the document I and document II. The last step is evaluation. Some supporting factors for the implementation of the curriculum are facilities and infrastructures, instructional media, teaching  materials, learning resources, and qualified human resources. While the  only inhibiting factor is the fact that some teachers find difficulties in applying  multi learning media.<br /><br />

The village has the right to budget as regulated in Law no. 6 year 2014 on the Village, the village is also given the responsibility to report it accountably, cleanly and transparently. Technology, Information and Communication (ICT) along with its supporters are prepared to make the village have a fast, efficient, transparent governance by sticking to local wisdom. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Taking data through participatory observation, indepth interview and literature study to explore more deeply how the utilization of communication and information technology in Kesamben Village Kesamben District Jombang.Utilization of Technology, Information and Communication (ICT) in its identification appears on several aspects such as human resources, facilities, infrastructure. The limited human resources capable of Technology, Information and Communication become obstacles in the utilization of Village Information System along with the lack of Internet network.

AbstractPurworejo is one of the districts in Central Java which is rich in natural and human resources. One of the various regional cultural traditions that is still preserved in Purworejo Regency, precisely in Somongari Village, Kaligesing District is merti-deso or village-cleansing and commonly called Jolenan. This study was dissected using a qualitative method with an ethnographic communication approach. For the deepening of the analysis observations and interviews were conducted with respondents who were involved in the Jolenan Customary Ceremony. The results showed that the communicative situation in the Jolenan Customary Ceremony was walking in a sacred manner. The traditional Jolenan ceremony is a tradition that is carried out every two years on the Javanese calendar, Seloso Wage Day in Sapar Month. Communicative events in Jolenan Traditional Ceremony are traditions that contain myths in them. Broadly speaking, the purpose of the Jolenan Traditional Ceremony is as an expression of gratitude and thanks to Allah SWT for the abundant produce of the earth and also as a tribute to the ancestors of the Sumongari Village, Eyang Kedono-Kedini. In the Jolenan Customary Rite there are ten stages in it namely: environmental cleanliness and tombs, making and decorating Jolen, tirakatan night, festivity of the Rukun Tetangga, installation of offerings, performing arts, welcoming events, Jolen carnival, large festivals, and tayuban. Communicative actions in the Jolenan Customary Ceremony namely regarding the statement of the people of Sumongari Village on the crops given by Allah SWT and the request of the people of Sumongari Village so that the village occupied is always given an abundance of crops continuously.Keywords: Traditional Communication, Jolenan Traditional Ceremony, values, social, religious, symbolic AbstrakPurworejo merupakan salah satu kabupaten di Jawa Tengah yang kaya akan sumber daya alam dan manusianya. Satu dari berbagai tradisi kebudayaan daerah yang sampai saat ini masih dilestarikan di Kabupaten Purworejo, tepatnya di Desa Somongari, Kecamatan Kaligesing adalah merti-deso atau bersih-desa dan biasa disebut Jolenan. Penelitian ini dibedah menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi komunikasi. Untuk pendalaman analisis dilakukan observasi dan wawancara dengan para responden yang berperan dalam Upacara Adat Jolenan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa situasi komunikatif dalam Upacara Adat Jolenan yaitu berjalan dengan sakral. Upacara adat Jolenan merupakan tradisi yang dilakukan setiap dua tahun sekali pada penanggalan Jawa yaitu hari Seloso Wage pada Bulan Sapar. Peristiwa komunikatif dalam Upacara Adat Jolenan merupakan tradisi yang mengandung mitos di dalamnya. Secara garis besar tujuan dilakukannya Upacara Adat Jolenan yaitu sebagai ungkapan rasa syukur dan terima kasih kepada Allah SWT atas hasil bumi yang melimpah dan juga sebagai penghormatan kepada leluhur Desa Sumongari yaitu Eyang Kedono-Kedini. Dalam ritual Upacara Adat Jolenan terdapat sepuluh tahapan di dalamnya yaitu: kebersihan lingkungan dan makam, membuat dan menghias Jolen, malam tirakatan, kenduri Rukun Tetangga, pemasangan sesaji, pentas kesenian, acara sambutan, kirab Jolen, kenduri besar, dan tayuban. Tindak komunikatif dalam Upacara Adat Jolenan yaitu mengenai pernyataan masyarakat Desa Sumongari atas hasil bumi yang diberikan Allah SWT dan permohonan masyarakat Desa Sumongari agar desa yang ditempati selalu diberikan kelimpahan hasil bumi secara terus menerus.Kata kunci: Komunikasi Tradisional, Upacara Adat Jolenan, nilai, sosial, religious, simbiolik

This study aims to investigate the continuance of village unit cooperative, the management, and preparation in facing business competition and globalization. This study employed a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach to gain an understanding of the phenomenon. Three village unit cooperatives were involved as a research subject in the area of oil palm plantations in Muaro of Jambi municipalities. The findings indicate that the village unit cooperative has been able to provide better prosperity for its members. Second, the village unit cooperative does not have a more advanced and modern business plan to compete in the current era. However, the business undertaken is a monopoly that makes it village unit cooperatives difficult to compete with other parties.

Tulisan ini mengkaji tentang eksistensi Surau Suluk dan tradisi Ratik Togak yang menjadi salah satu amalan pengikut tarekat Naqsabandiyah di Rokan Hulu, Riau. Rokan Hulu dikenal dengan julukan Negeri Seribu Suluk, memiliki sekitar 122 Surau Suluk yang tersebar di seluruh wilayah. Bagi pengikut tarekat, Surau Suluk merupakan wadah untuk menjalani aktivitas keagamaan sebagai jalan mendekatkan diri kepada Allah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi untuk melihat tradisi keagamaan para pengikut tarekat Surau Suluk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Surau Suluk di Rokan Hulu eksis dan berkembang melalui peran Syekh Abdul Wahab Rokan dengan ajarannya tarekat Naqsabandiyah. Salah satu amalan yang menjadi tradisi dalam ajaran tarekat Naqsabandiyah adalah Ratik Togak. Ratik bermakna zikir atau ratib merupakan amalan berupa zikir dan istighfar yang dilakukan untuk mencari puncak kenikmatan berzikir. Ratik Togak dilakukan pada event keagamaan tertentu di ruang publik sebagai medium penting bagi mereka untuk mendekatkan diri kepada Allah. Ratik Togak merupakan salah satu bentuk dari ibadah keagamaan Islam yang bersifat sosial. Tradisi ini semakin istimewa karena menjadi ikon bagi Surau Suluk yang melibatkan unsur masyarakat awam dan dukungan dari pemerintah. Tradisi ini merupakan amalan bagi pengikut tarekat Naqsabandiyah sebagai bentuk kesalehan mereka dengan Sang Pencipta.This study examines the existence of Surau Suluk and the tradition of Ratik Togak, which is one of the practices of the Naqsabandiyah tarekat in Rokan Hulu, Riau. Rokan Hulu is known by the nickname ‘Negeri Seribu Suluk’, having approximately 122 Surau Suluk which are spread throughout the region. For followers of the tarekat, Surau Suluk is a place to undergo religious activities as a way to get closer to God. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach to see the religious traditions of followers of the Surau Suluk congregation. The results showed that Surau Suluk in Rokan Hulu existed and developed through the role of Sheikh Abdul Wahab Rokan with his teaching of the Naqsabandiyah order. One practice that has become a tradition in the Naqsabandiyah tariqah is Ratik Togak. Ratik means dhikr or ratib is a practice in the form of dhikr and forgiveness which is done to find the peak of enjoyment of dhikr. The Togak Ratik is performed at certain religious events in public spaces as an important medium for them to get closer to God. Ratik Togak is a form of social Islamic religious worship. This tradition is increasingly special because it has become an icon for Surau Suluk which involves ordinary people. It also gets support from local government. This tradition is a practice for followers of the Naqsabandiyah order as a form of their piety with the Creator (God).

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between minority Muslim families and those of non-Muslims in Banjarasri, Kalibawang, Kulon Progo Yogyakarta; and to find out the religious diversity motivation of the Muslim families. This study used descriptive qualitative method by applying a phenomenological approach. The data were garnered using observation and interview. This study revealed that the acculturation of arts, cultures, and social community made Muslim families and non-Muslim families live side by side. The religious motivation of Muslim minority for the sake of maintaining their faith rested upon both extrinsic and intrinsic motivations. Extrinsically, it could be seen from the strong influence of the mosque administrators, the power of various religious activities to enhance religious awareness, and the solid cohesiveness of the group to strengthen as well as protect religious motivation. Intrinsically, the religious motivation of Muslims in Banjarsari was basically the effect of self-awareness by reasons of their minor position, so that such motivation yielded strong inner capacity from each Muslim family to revive and get more deeply into Islam.
