The article examines the problem of using information technology in the training of future doctors. The expediency of their introduction is substantiated for the integration of natural and professional knowledge. It is demonstrated that the use of these technologies in education increases the motivation of students to the chosen profession and promotes the formation of professional thinking and creativity in practice. The possibility of using information technologies in the medical university for effective distance learning and independent work of students is analyzed. The main tasks of studying the discipline are: formation and development of knowledge, skills and knowledge bases necessary for effective use of modern general-purpose applications in educational and cognitive activities and everyday life; acquainting students with the role of new information technologies in professional activities, with the prospects for the development of computer technology and the importance of continuous self-improvement; development of the ability to independently master various software tools and update and integrate the acquired knowledge. At the present stage of development of higher medical school there is a tendency to use fundamentally new integrated technologies of educational activities, which allow teachers to effectively manage the learning process. Thus, on the example of the considered disciplines it can be argued that the integration of scientific knowledge and professional skills by means of modern IT ensures the development of professionalism of the future doctor and creates favorable conditions for continuous self- development and self-improvement throughout practice.

The article considers the feasibility of integrating artificial intelligence technologies into school education and identifies a problem in identifying didactic elements in the field of artificial intelligence, which must be mastered in a school informatics course. The purpose of the article is to propose variant of the content of teaching the elements of artificial intelligence for the general education of schoolchildren as part of the curricular and extracurricular activities in informatics. An analysis of the psychological, pedagogical and scientific-methodical literature in the field of artificial intelligence made it possible to identify the appropriateness of teaching schoolchildren the elements of artificial intelligence in the framework of a comprehensive informatics course, as the theoretical foundations of modern information technologies. Summarizing and systematizing the learning experience of schoolchildren in the field of artificial intelligence made it possible to form variant of the content of teaching the elements of artificial intelligence, which can be implemented in a compulsory informatics course for 9th grade, as well as in elective classes. The results of the study are the theoretical basis for the further development of the components of the methodological system of teaching the elements of artificial intelligence in a school informatics course. The research materials may be useful to specialists in the field of teaching informatics and to informatics teachers.

AbstractThis project was designed to enhance the academic success and profiles of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) through increased proficiency and awareness of computer technology. The program attempted to establish a community of practice with technology, that focused on teaching and mentoring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students by supporting their use of computer technology. Prior to this project, there was no sound base of support for encouraging the use of technology with this group of students in the university and thus they were reluctant and apprehensive about its use in their studies.Initially, we focused on the development of the students' proficiency in word processing so that they could apply their newly learned skills directly to their coursework and assessment in the specific degree that they were studying. Secondly, we introduced the students to the Internet and finally we assisted them with the location of information in the Library and from other sources. Consequently, the key notions of the project related primarily to improving the students' skills in writing, communications, and searching and accessing information.

The paper deals with the cross-cutting tasks system use for the university education as a necessary condition of professional education orientation. The application of the cross-cutting tasks system promotes holistic students thinking and helps to master the means of action in a particular work situation. The paper contains a fragment of the system developed by the author for the course Subject-oriented economic information systems for bachelor students majoring in Applied Information Technologies in Economics. The course consists of several modules, the cross-cutting tasks system is used in the module Information systems of personnel management. The fragment of the system contains multiple plot lines that show methods of standard operations for personnel documents maintaining and enterprise personnel management, calculation and salary payment in the automated system. Specific tasks help to demonstrate continuity and connectivity of all sections in the module. The author of the paper considers some difficulties of the cross-cutting tasks system application: strict sequence of the methodology; difference in time that students need to perform the tasks; inability to include some tasks in the system; dependence on the results obtained during previous classes. The paper also contains possible ways of overcoming these difficulties.

The article focuses on the professional orientation in studies of modern information technologies by future technology teachers. The main positions of formatting the content of the program of this discipline are outlined, as well as demonstrated the ways of possible use of information resources for studying technical and technological disciplines. As an example of a professional direction, the problem of developing teaching programs on technical and technological disciplines, which realize the ability to control knowledge of students, the implementation of complicated technical calculations, assessment of student knowledge for reporting, as well as the implementation of virtual laboratory work in the format of simulation is presented. In the process of developing educational programs, psychological requirements to them have been taken into account, the essence of which is the formation of a holistic image of the solvable problem, step-by-step solving the programmed problem situations, strengthening semantic, logical and spatial activity, which makes it possible to shift the emphasis in the learning process from finding the necessary information to conducting own research. The monitoring of the effectiveness of the introduction of the professionally directed content of the course "Modern Information Technologies" into the educational process has been carried out according to the following criteria: cognitive, motivational, activity, value-reflexive. The positive dynamics of qualitative indicators (with high and sufficient level) of the formation of technical competence of technology teachers in experimental groups were traced. For grounded students’ acquaintance with modern information technologies, it is proposed to include an autonomous course "Computer Design and Modeling" in the cycle of selective academic disciplines for professional training of technology teachers, which has summarizing and generalizing functions in the context of modern information technologies.
