Subject of the paper: professional training of future specialists in technical fields. Object of the paper: modern aspect of competencybased approach in professional training. Work objective: analysis of subject matter and contents of the modern aspect of competencybased approach in professional training of future technical specialists. Work methodology is to identify the practical application of competency-based, student-centered, metadisciplinary and reflexive approaches in personal enhancement of technical specialists in their preparatory process. Work results contain theoretic and methodological rationale of the need for the implementation of a set of modern approaches in the training process of highly qualified technical specialists. Essential approaches needed for forming the integrative set of students’ competences and for development of professional and personal qualities required in work activities have been identified and rationalized. The area of application of results is the process of training of specialists in technical fields for the successful performance of job functions. Conclusions: The issue of particular importance in training of competent, highly competitive specialists capable to fulfill professional tasks effectively and to lay out own self-development path is the use of modern approaches in the process of teaching the disciplines within technical studies curriculum. The implementation of specified approaches in the educational process promote enhancement of students’ educational and creative abilities, professionally significant personal qualities and value systems, critical thinking, readiness for rational planning, work activity management, fulfillment of certain types of activities corresponding to fields of study, development of competences referred to in the Federal State Educational and Professional Standards and the requirements of the employer.

The article deals with the problem of improving the quality of professional training of cadets of military educational institutions of higher professional education of the National Guard troops of the Russian Federation (hereinafter referred to as military universities of the VNG RF), the solution of which determines the level of security of the Russian Federation. In connection with the changes that have occurred in the educational process on the basis of the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education 3 ++, as well as in the structure of the troops, the need to revise the content of military education, as well as the choice of more effective methods for its implementation, has been identified. After analyzing the current state of affairs, the possibilities of frame methods were studied, the main advantage of which is the intensification of the educational process through the structuring of educational information. The authors have developed frame schemes, the effectiveness of which has been tested experimentally. All this made it possible for the teacher to devote more time to explaining the educational material of a lesson, eliminating the excessive amount of information, and for the cadets - to study the subject in more detail, to comprehend the information received, and then apply these methods in their future professional activities when training the personnel of their unit in the army.

The main tasks of the Olympiad of diploma projects of the Federal Agency for Railway Transport are to improve the quality of training, develop the creative abilities of students, increase the interest of students and teachers in the development and improvement of the railway industry, and form highly qualified human resources. The practice of participation of branches (structural units) of secondary vocational education of the Irkutsk State Transport University shows that not all indicators can be achieved.The educational process in secondary vocational education is focused on preparing for practical activities in production. In accordance with federal state educational standards for secondary vocational education programs, a student must master general and professional competencies, acquire certain knowledge, skills and practical experience. It is proposed to make a number of changes in the system of evaluating the Olympiad of diploma projects in terms of criteria. The assessment system of the Olympiad must be adapted taking into account the possibilities of secondary vocational education to stimulate the participation of structural units in their conduct.

The article provides a theoretical analysis of the current state of the specifics of professional activity of lawyers. Questions about the essence of professional activity in relation to the lawyers themselves and their personal qualities are analyzed. The article describes the peculiarities of lawyers ' work, taking into account the subject-subject interaction. Theoretical and applied research directions of professional activity of lawyers are outlined: implementation of professional selection procedures, taking into account the requirements of Federal state educational standards of higher education and standards of professional training and professional development of lawyers; taking into account modern social and educational conditions and labor market requirements-a refined professionographic description of the profession «lawyer», professionograms and psychograms; the possibility of building a psychodiagnostic technology for predicting the success of a lawyer's professional activity and a model of a multi-level system of psychological and pedagogical support and support for a lawyer's professional activity.

The purpose of the work is to theoretically substantiate the system of professional training of futurebachelors of social work and analyze the main trends in modern education in Russia. On the basis of theoretical and empirical research methods, the author presents a comparative characteristic of qualification requirements in federal state educational standards, identifies trends that provide modern professional training for bachelors of social work. The results obtained create the basis for scientific and methodological support of the educational process aimed at optimizing the system of professional training of future bachelors of social work, and can be included in the educational practice of Russian universities that provide professional training for bachelors of social work. The article is addressed to teachers leading the training of students studying in the areas of a social profile, as well as specialists working in institutions of social protection and social services for the population.

This paper examines some aspects of professional training in linguists specialising in “Translation and Translation Studies” within competence-based approach that are of importance for competence development in translation/ interpreting. Professional competence is developed through knowledge acquiring and mastering the skills graduates need to translate and interpret. The content analysis of professional training and training in translation / interpreting allows of exploring methods to increase effectiveness of the educational process as well as correlate competences in the federal state educational standard in linguistics and competences required in translation market.

Цель исследования установить эти факторы, причины, условия и охарактеризовать их роль в повышении эффективности профессионального образования. Детерминанты по отношению к процессу образования классифицированы как внутренние и внешние. Материалы исследования могут быть использованы руководством технических университетов, преподавателями, занимающимися проблемами качества образования. Modernization in the education system is aimed at increasing the efficiency of vocational education and is enshrined in regulatory laws and acts. These include the latest editions of federal state educational standards. Their implementation should ensure the formation of universal, general professional and professional competencies and the development of students' personal qualities. Thus, a new level of quality of training of future specialists is achieved and, ultimately, the efficiency of the vocational education system is increased. This process depends on various factors, reasons and conditions that can be identified as pedagogical determinants of vocational education. The aim of the study is to establish these factors and conditions and to characterize their role in increasing the effectiveness of vocational education. We consider the issue of personal and professional development of future educational psychologists. We present theoretical approaches of Russian and foreign scientists to the issues of the correlation of professional training and the professional development of a person. We consider the process of professional formation in general and in the psychological and pedagogical sphere of activity in particular. We focus on the federal state educational standards of higher education of the latest generation – the master’s degree in psychology and pedagogy, and on the corresponding professional standard as a normative basis for the organization of the educational process in a modern university. The expediency of modernizing the modern educational system in higher education, the reasonableness of the transition to the current competence-based approach as a methodological basis for the organization of the educational process in higher education is argued. The development of professionalism and, most importantly, socially important personal qualities is essential when organizing a developing educational space in higher education. We analyze the volume of the personal component of a specialist as an important component in the concept of professionalism. In conclusion, the expediency of taking into account the basic psychological and pedagogical conditions when designing the professional development of a future educational psychologist is proved.

The article focuses on the problem of creating conditions for the preparation of university students for their future professional activities in the foreign language classroom. For this purpose, we took into account the external and internal factors of the organization of the educational process. The external factors include the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education, the Cultural Studies syllabus; the combination of competence-based, environmental, professionally oriented and intercultural approaches. The internal factors include the conditions of the educational process in the first year, the level of the development of students’ personal and subjective qualities. These factors are determined by the principles of selection (intercultural and professional orientation, informational richness) and organization (personal and subject individualization, comparison, problematic sufficiency of educational material and its adequacy to components of the intercultural competence). The aim of the article is to present a methodology for the intercultural competence formation in a specifically selected and organized professionally oriented informational educational environment and the results of its experimental verification. The methodological basis of the research is a combination of competencebased, environmental, professionally oriented and intercultural approaches. The research methods include the analysis of literature, designing polls, experimental verification, quantitative and qualitative analysis of the results, statistic data verification. The article presents the methods of the intercultural competence formation in the professionally oriented informational educational environment designed for foreign language learners majoring in culturology. As a result of the purposeful selection and organization of the environment, the methodology is filled with the intercultural professionally oriented information and instrumentally equipped with the system of exercises to achieve the expected results. Controlling and evaluating tools for diagnosing the level of the intercultural competence formation are created. The process and results of experimental verification are described for determining the efficiency of the designed methods of the intercultural competence formation, which the future culture expert needs in order to take part in the professional foreign language communication. The results of the research and the statistic data verification have proved the efficiency of the designed methods of the intercultural competence formation in the purposefully selected and organized professionally oriented informational educational environment and its contribution to the professional training of students majoring in culturology.

The indication of the need for the formation of universal competencies in students in the current FSES HE 3++ has activated the scientific and pedagogical community to search for ways to solve this problem. The article reveals the possibilities of the «Training professional communication» discipline in the formation of universal competencies in the process of professional training of bachelors at a university in the direction of 44.03.02 «Psychological and pedagogical education», «Psychology and Social Pedagogy» direction. The purpose of the research is to reveal the experience of the formation of universal competencies in students as a factor in increasing the effectiveness of the educational process. The research methods are represented by a set of theoretical methods of cognition, such as generalization, design, comparison, forecasting. The research results. The category «universal competences» and its indicators have been clarified; the planned learning outcomes in the discipline of «Training professional communication» in the context of a competence-oriented approach have been proposed, a criterion scale for assessing UC-3 universal competence formation in the field of training of 44.03.02 «Psychological and pedagogical education» in the framework of the discipline of «Training professional communication» has been developed. Key findings: universal competencies are certain qualities, types of behavior that people tend to exhibit, striving to achieve work goals; the list of planned learning outcomes in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education 3++ correlates with indicators of achievement of each universal competence through the triad «knows; knows how; owns» for each indicator of achievement of competencies. The criterion scale for assessing UK-3 universal competence formation in the corresponding direction of training includes four levels: unsatisfactory, satisfactory, good and excellent, which are revealed in the process of current and intermediate control of knowledge among students in an academic discipline.

Fundamental government documents set the priority of the educational system in public policy, declaring the need for successful scientific and professional training and innovative educational activities of future specialists. The article is aimed to propose a solution to the formation of professional competence of future specialists of technical universities at the stage of modernization of education in modern Russian society. The work reveals the essence of the leading methodological approaches to solving the problem under study: competency, creative, personality-oriented, system-activity, technological, task-based approaches. A retrospective analysis made it possible to reveal the pedagogical conditions, simulating the real professional activity of students of a technical college. The ways of successful development of professional competence of future specialists are described (establishing innovative-creative environment; developing the subject position of a personality; strengthening practice-oriented activities; organizing reflection and self-reflection; using computing, information and telecommunication technologies, and systems; effective management of students' academic, scientific, and professional activities). Based on the leading principles, the methodological approaches, the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education for the preparation of future specialists in the Russian Federation, the article presents the innovative experience of the organization of educational process, which is aimed to form a professional competence among graduate students of Ryazan Institute of Moscow Polytechnic University, as well as Ryazan State Agrotechological University named after P.A. Kostychev. This study made it possible to develop and implement a block-modular structure and content of engineering and construction training of students, which includes design, organizational and managerial, information-applied, creative competencies corresponding to the types of professional activity.
