ABSTRACTCreative strategies benefit the students in order to guide them to the achievement of a meaningful learning, because they help to a greater concentration by presenting the content of the class, understanding then the nature, reach and sequence of the information provided. The present field practice was carried out with a group of university students of the third semester of the Faculty of Languages at the Autonomous University of Baja California. Starting with the theme of motivation, five educational strategies are implemented to later know the perspective of the students through a survey.RESUMENLas estrategias creativas benefician a los alumnos para poder orientarlos al logro de un aprendizaje significativo, pues ayudan a una concentración mayor al presentar el contenido de la clase, comprendiendo entonces su naturaleza, alcance y secuencia de la información proporcionada. La presente práctica de campo fue realizada con un grupo de jóvenes universitarios de tercer semestre de la Facultad de Idiomas en la Universidad Autónoma de Baja California. Partiendo con el tema de motivación, se implementaron cinco estrategias educativas para posteriormente conocer la perspectiva de los alumnos mediante una encuesta.

This chapter looks at how José Antonio Echeverría, president of the Federación de Estudiantes Universitarios (Federation of University Students, FEU), prepared the public to back the violent overthrow of the regime that he and his FEU allies were secretly plotting by appealing to Cubans with the claim that an armed challenge to Batista's power could only renew and refresh the national collective union. Castro and his supporters took this argument several steps further, couching their own movement's already proven commitment to violence in discursive histrionics of “making love, not war” in defense of la patria. In adopting the prose and pose of reluctant revolutionaries who loved rather than hated, Echeverría, Castro, and their respective movements attempted to undercut the very claims Batista had made all along, since the very day of his coup.

The College of Public Accountants of Baja California A.C is a civil association affiliated with the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants which was constituted through the protocol act dated July 18, 1958 following the regulations of the Civil Code of the state of Baja California. It is an organization that though its diverse regulated commissions have conjugated the academic improvement of the students in the Accounting program of multiple educational institutions dedicated to higher education in Tijuana Baja California Mexico, guiding the future professionals of the career into an adequate environment for their growth and consolidation of the standards of educative quality. In the presented work, the results such as that students have improved their academic achievements adhering freely and voluntarily to this collective body elevating their sociocultural level. This causing positive impact in the terminal efficiency and the placement in the labor market. They describe occurred actions through the Government Commission of Accounting that has caused an impulse in the students to develop favorably their integral formation, promoting them in theoretic workshops offering dictated materials fortifying the conditions in order to endorse various stages from social services, the professional practices where they provide their educative knowledge to solve company problems. Lastly, they are promoted, among the collage, the labor insertion under appropriate conditions that will better their economy and promote the students to participate in their communities once obtaining the experience of the accounting profession. This alignment allows for the Educative Institutions to count on enough evidence in order to allow the process of evaluation and accreditation in a solid and sustainable manner. Allowing the students to move forward hand in hand with the professional practices with ethics and values that the College of Public Accountants of Baja California A.C promotes.

Este artículo forma parte de una investigación sobre el uso de cuestiones socio-científicas a fin de promover las competencias para el pensamiento crítico en estudiantes universitarios. La primera parte presenta las apreciaciones de un grupo de estudiantes en formación docente acerca de la criticidad de la ciencia y lo que entienden por ciencia crítica. También, se presenta y se discute sobre las experiencias de algunos investigadores perseguidos debido a sus contribuciones científicas, ya que tuvieron implicaciones sociales, o cuestiones sociocientíficas.Alternatives to Reflect on Critical Aspects of Science in the ClassroomThis paper is part of a research about the use of scientific-social issues to promote critical thinking skills in university students. The first part presents the considerations of a group of teacher training students about the criticality of science and what they understand about critical science. It also presents and discusses the experiences of some researchers who were persecuted because of their scientific contributions with social implications or scientific social issues.Alternativas para refletir aspectos críticos da ciência na sala de aulaEste artigo é parte de uma investigação sobre o uso de questões sociais científicos, para promover habilidades de pensamento crítico dos estudantes da universidade. As a result of the rapid online expansion of digital learnscapes, resulting in university students regularly engaging in online learning communities, cyberbullying has increasing potential to become a serious issue for higher education institutions. The effectiveness of educating students and staff in higher education on the elements and impacts of cyberbullying has driven this innovative study, which involves the development of an action research-led and student-directed interactive educational website to inform higher education students and staff about the consequences of cyberbullying. In describing the ongoing development and generalisation of the site, this chapter highlights the third cycle of an action research inquiry, and more generally the need for such resources to support higher education so that users understand what constitutes cybersafety and cyberbullying. As such, the research is directed toward understanding, sharing, participation, reflection, and change. Findings are discussed in relation to the information on the site for users in higher education.

Este estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la asociación entre la aptitud motriz de estudiantes universitarios de primer ingreso y su desempeño académico en los dos periodos lectivos de inicio de la carrera de Educación Física, Deporte y Recreación. Participaron 83 voluntarios (Hombres = 60, Mujeres = 23) de la Universidad Veracruzana, México. La aptitud motriz se evaluó con ocho pruebas y el rendimiento académico se midió con el promedio ponderado de dos periodos consecutivos. Los análisis de regresión múltiple mostraron que el salto sin carrera (modelo 1), y gimnasia y encestes de baloncesto (modelo 2) predicen el rendimiento académico. En conclusión, la aptitud motriz predice parcialmente el rendimiento académico en estudiantes de primer ingreso.AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the association between the motor skills of first-year university students and their academic performance in the two initial academic terms of the Physical Education, Sports and Recreation degree. Eighty-three volunteers participated (Men = 60, Women = 23) from the Universidad Veracruzana, Mexico. Motor skills were evaluated with eight tests and academic performance was measured with the weighted average of two consecutive terms. Multiple regression analyses showed that standing jumping (model 1), and gymnastics and effective basketball throws (model 2) predicted academic performance. In conclusion, motor skills partially predict academic performance in first-year students

Se considera comida rápida a toda clase de comida preparada de manera rápida, cómoda y por lo general barata y de amplia comercialización. El presente artículo contribuye con definiciones, características, ventajas y desventajas del producto, así como sus consecuencias en la salud en las personas. El objetivo fue identificar cual es la comida rápida de mayor consumo y a partir de este obtuvo el valor nutricional de la comida rápida que resultó consumida en mayor cantidad, así como también se conocieron cuáles son los factores que influyen en su consumo. La metodología que se empleó fue el enfoque cuantitativo y cualitativo, se aplicó encuestas a los estudiantes de Facultad de Ciencias Pecuarias de la Escuela Superior Politécnica de Chimborazo, periodo académico abril – agosto 2018, también se analizó los productos de mayor consumo en el laboratorio de la Facultad de Ciencias Pecuarias. El resultado obtenido demostró un alto porcentaje de estudiantes que consumen comida rápida a pesar de estar conscientes que es de mala calidad y que afecta a la salud. It is considered fast food to all kinds of food prepared in a fast, comfortable way and in general cheap and of extensive marketing. The present article contributes with definitions, characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of this product, such as its consequences related to people´s health. The aim was to identify which is the most consumed fast food and obtained its nutritional value that turns out to be mainly eaten, as well as knowing which are the factors that influence on its consumption. The methodology used is the quantitative and qualitative approach, surveys were applied to 108 students of the Career of Agroindustries of the Escuela Superior Politécnica de Chimborazo, during the academic period April - August, 2018, also the most consumed food were analyzed in the laboratory of the Animal Ground Sciences Faculty. Obtained results demonstrate a high percentage of students who consume fast food in spite of being conscious about its poor quality and health issues. El artículo, derivado de la investigación “Caracterización del consumo de medios de los jóvenes para el diseño de una propuestade espacios de educación en valores y convivencia ciudadana apoyado en TIC”, aborda las relaciones interculturalesque se establecen entre estudiantes universitarios, de la ciudad de Santa Marta, pertenecientes a grupos seguidores de lacultura metal y estudiantes universitarios no pertenecientes a este tipo de cultura. Cuyo objetivo es caracterizar el consumode medios de los jóvenes para diseñar una propuesta de espacios de educación en valores y convivencia ciudadana apoyadoen TIC. El análisis que se realiza de estas tribus urbanas es de carácter cuantitativo, y se construye desde las categorías deesfera pública, hegemonías y contrahegemonias propuestas de la politóloga Chantal Mouffe.

The purpose of the article is to study the influence of emergency factors on the tenden-cy to aggressive behaviour among students. We conducted a study in Ukraine during 2016-2020 in emergency situations. In 2016, for the third year in a row, a military emergency situation con-tinued in eastern Ukraine, which left its mark on all the country's youth. In 2020, young people were exposed to a medical and biological emergency due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We made two diagnostic sections, respectively, in 2016 and 2020 using the same method of "Aggressive behaviour" (according to E. Ilin and P. Kovaliov). The results of the study show that there is a direct connection between a young person's stay in an emergency situation and an increase in the level of aggressive behaviour, in particular direct, physical one. Therefore, in emergency situations, it is necessary to develop and implement programs for the socio-psychological and pedagogical rehabilitation of young people.
