The development of information and communication technology has penetrated various sectors, one of which is the education sector, especially in learning. The application of technology in the learning process is in the form of using virtual laboratory media to explain concepts that require a practicum, particularly in ab-stract materials. This study aims to determine students' metacognitive skills after applying the e-learning-based virtual laboratory media in physics experiment courses at the Department of Physics Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Papua. This qualitative research went through the stages of a lesson study. The data were collected from tests and questionnaires on stu-dents' metacognitive skills, observation sheets, interview guidelines, and video recordings during the open class. Further, the data were analyzed through Rasch modeling technique utilizing the Winstep application to analyze the students' met-acognitive activity questionnaire after learning. The lesson study encompassed three stages of a series of activities, namely Plan, Do, and See. In the Plan stage, discussions were held with the lecturer team to develop learning tools in the form of chapter designs, lesson plans, and learning media. In the Do stage, the model lecturer performed the learning process based on the media that had been estab-lished. In the See stage, the reflection was done to examine the learning imple-mentation carried out by the model lecturer in order to uncover weaknesses and strengths to be followed up on further learning. The results show that the quality of learning and students’ metacognitive skills at each meeting are improved. It is proven by the good and very good category of the aforementioned results. To sum up, e-learning based virtual laboratory media are able to improve learning quality and develop students' metacognitive skills in the physics experiment courses.

Electronic Learning (e-learning) is an inventive approach to offer education using electronic means of learning contents. e-learning is an online education or distance education, which means that it can deliver education to everyone around the world online through the electronic means such as the internet from different distant countries. The success of E-learning process in universities needs some factors that should be fit with the revolution of technology and enhance the learner’s knowledge. In order to adapt to the rapid growth of technology, Universities in Iraq needs to collaborate with other international universities and industries to develop e-learning tools and methods. In addition to that, Iraqi universities have to adopt collaboration culture with other universities and industries and adhocracy culture to follow the innovation in e-learning process. This paper suggests a framework that could contribute to enhancing and success e-learning in Baghdad. The IS success model of DeLone and McLean and the open innovation model will be essential in our developed e-learning framework. The developed framework relies on adopting a collaborative and innovative culture among universities to promote the e-learning process in universities in Baghdad and Iraq.

Electronic Learning (e-learning) is the process of using the electronic educational shapes of information and courses contents in an inventive way. E-learning is the process of education that offered can be divided into online or distance education, which means that it can deliver education to everyone around the world online through the electronic means such as the internet from different distant countries. In order to promote the e-learning process universities in developing countries such as Iraq, the enhancement of the e-learning success needs to some factors that should be fit with the revolution of technology and enhance the learner’s knowledge. Universities in developing countries such as Iraq, in order to be fit with the rapid growth of technology, it needs to collaborate with other national and international universities to develop e-learning tools and methods. In order to contribute to the success of the e-learning process in universities in Iraq, these universities have to adopt collaboration culture with other universities and innovative culture to follow the global innovation in e-learning process around the world. This paper developed an integrated framework of e-learning through an organizational innovative collaboration environment, analysed it qualitatively through the interviews with students, staff and e-learning centres and found strong relationships between its elements which could participate to improve and add values to the e-learning process in universities in Baghdad.

Learning media is very useful to help students understand the concepts of learning material provided. The use of innovative learning media is still limited to the learning process, especially thematic learning. Thematic innovative learning media is more specifically developed with STEM-based learning based on 4C capabilities, namely the Media Electrical Tandem Roller (ETR). Media development is carried out using the Focus General Discussion (FGD) Method with a qualitative approach. The process of implementing this FGD stage involved the development team of STEM learning tools that aims to validate the media produced without going through field trials. ETR media based on the ability of 4C in elementary schools has been produced for STEM learning. This innovative learning media is expected to be used, especially for teachers in thematic learning in elementary schools.

This study aims to determine whether the application of e-learning in problem-based learning can improve the problem solving abilities of FMIPA Unimed students. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative research by actively involving through e-learning the actors in the learning process, namely lecturers and students, as well as other related subjects. This study's design consists of three stages: (1) the development of learning tools and research instruments, (2) the testing of learning tools and research instruments, and (3) the implementation of experiments. <em>One of the problems in our education world is the weakness of the learning process, which has an impact on metacognitive skills and critical thinking skills of students. One of the contributing factors is that the teacher only provides existing material without any development related to the real world of students. Thus the effort that can be made is that before carrying out the learning process the teacher as an educator must have a learning plan, which is included in the learning tool. Because in a learning device a teacher can design learning methods and materials that are considered innovative when used. One of the innovative learning methods that can build active learning conditions for students is to use a local wisdom-based learning model. The research objective was to determine the validity of learning tools through a learning model based on local wisdom of South Kalimantan to improve metacognitive skills and critical thinking of students in the classification concept of living things. This study develops products in the form of RPP, LKPD and Questions. The development method used refers to 4-D development which has 4 stages, namely define, design, develop and disseminate. The type of data used is qualitative and quantitative data. The instrument used was a validation sheet that was declared valid based on the results of the expert team's assessment. Data analysis techniques were carried out by matching the results of empirical validation from experts with predetermined validity criteria. The results of this study indicate that local wisdom-based learning tools are worth trying out, because the scores obtained from the validation results show validity with a percentage of&gt; 67.19% which is considered valid enough and has no revised information</em>

The development of information and communication technology (ICT) in the 21st century makes it easier for students to be more active in the learning process. Physics learning materials are needed to support the problem-based learning process in high school. This study aims to produce e-learning models for problem-based learning on Heat and Thermodynamics topics. The result shows media can be used in learning in high school class XI. We uses the research and development method, with the Dick and Carey model. The study was conducted in a digital media laboratory, Physics Education Department of Universitas Negeri Jakarta from January to June 2018. E-Learning models have been produced for problem-based learning in the topic of Heat and Thermodynamics. This WordPress-based E-Learning model can display physics material enriched with images, graphics, animations, simulations, and videos. Students are facilitated to understand the concepts learned. The e-learning model is equipped with assessment tools that can be used online. Students are facilitated to learn independently without limited space and time. The E-learning model developed was also equipped with discussion groups in the form of chats for all registered users. The media validation obtained the results of system evaluation, content, and e-learning infrastructure with 78.9 points average. The material validation gives an 81.55 rating. Concerning media and material, e-learning media is declared feasible as a medium for self-learning. The e-learning model for problem-based learning is feasible to use to train the ability to critical thinking, creative thinking, collaborative, and communicate for students in high school.

This study aims to describe and analyze deeply the use of Moodle's open source e-learning at Syafi'i Akrom Pekalongan Vocational School. This is a kind of field research and the process of collecting the data uses observation, interviews and documentation techniques. Data analysis was conducted using analytical description and comparative method (Constant Comparative Method) techniques. The results showed: (1) Moodle-based e-learning at Syafi'i Akrom vocational school has not been utilized properly and optimally by all teachers and only IT teachers knowing how to use it; (2) Moodle-based Arabic E-learning at Syafi'i Akrom Vocational School also has not been utilized properly and optimally in Arabic learning process. It still uses conventional methods and media by having face to face meeting with the provided media; (3) The aim and objective of e-learning at Syafi'i Akrom Pekalongan Vocational School is realizing the media as one of the alternative media in learning to create more independent learning process without problems of place and time. Besides, the teacher has more flexible time due to the Internship Program for the XI graders; (4) The supporting factors of Arabic e-learning in Syafii Akrom vocational school are sufficiently complete facilities, the existence of elearning.ponpes-smksa.sch.id as the e-learning website, sufficient funding support, IT training, and student ability in the use of ICT. The obstacles of the e-learning in this vocational school is the lack of ability and interest of teachers in using IT that enables the lack of ability to provide more interactive material for the students, the complexity of the features in Moodle, and the students’ who come from non Madrasa / Islamic boarding school backgrounds which have low ability in understanding Arabic.

ABSTRAKMedia pembelajaran berbasis online atau kelas virtual cukup populer dikalangan para guru dalam proses pembelajaran, karena mudahnya akses dan ketepatan penyampaian informasinya. Salah satu media yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran ialah Edmodo. Media berbasis aplikasi belajar ini diyakini menyediakan dan menyesuaikan pembelajaran secara virtual. Disamping itu, Edmodo juga hadir dengan fitur-fitur seperti: diskusi, quiz, agenda pembelajaran, pemeriksaan tugas, dan pemberian nilai pada setiap pembelajaran. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan pemanfaatan media pembelajaran Edmodo bagi guru dalam menunjang aktivitas pembelajaran di SDIT NU Telukjambe Timur Karawang. Selain itu pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi dalam menanggulangi kurangnya media pembelajaran berbasis online agar proses ajar-mengajar lebih luas, cepat, dan menyenangkan. Pelaksanaan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi dan praktik penggunaan Edmodo. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah guru memperoleh wawasan terhadap E-Learning dengan menggunakan media Edmodo. Selain itu pelatihan media ICT “Edmodo” ini, guru merasa senang dan puas dengan adanya pelatihan ini, karena dengan adanya memanfaatkan media Edmodo sebagai media pembelajaran, mereka dapat mengemas pembelajaran menjadi lebih efektif, efisien, dan menyenangkan. Kata kunci: pelatihan; media ICT; edmodo. ABSTRACTOnline-based learning media or virtual classes are quite popular among teachers in the learning process, because of the easy access and accuracy of delivering information. One of the media used in the learning process is Edmodo. This learning application-based media is believed to provide and adapt virtual learning. In addition, Edmodo also comes with features such as: discussions, quizzes, learning agendas, examination of assignments, and giving grades for each lesson. This training aims to introduce the use of Edmodo learning media for teachers in supporting learning activities at SDIT NU Telukjambe Timur Karawang. In addition, this training is expected to be a solution in overcoming the lack of online-based learning media so that the teaching-learning process is wider, faster, and fun. The implementation of this community service program is carried out using the lecture method, question and answer, discussion and practice of using Edmodo. The result of this activity is that the teacher gains insight into E-Learning by using the Edmood media. In addition to this "Edmodo" ICT media training, teachers feel happy and satisfied with this training, because by utilizing Edmodo media as a learning medium, they can package learning to be more effective, efficient, and fun. Keywords: training; ICT media; edmodo.

Abstract:This study aims to determine the perceptions of English Language Education students of UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya on online learning via Zoom during the Covid-19 pandemic. The qualitative descriptive method was carried out by distributing questionnaires using Google Form to 45 English Education students at UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya after completing the learning process for 3 months. The results of this study show that (1) the use of Zoom application provides new experiences in online learning activities, (2) students can easily operate some of the Zoom application features, (3) the learning process expects students to use the Zoom application, (4) the Zoom application is one of the e-learning tools that can support online learning activities continuously, (5) the use of Zoom application because the classmates agree to use the Zoom application, and (6) students can use the Zoom application easily in carrying out of online learning activities. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya terhadap pembelajaran daring via Zoom pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Metode deskritif kualitatif dilakukan dengan menyebar angket kuesioner menggunakan Google Form kepada 45 mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya setelah menyelesaikan proses pembelajaran selama 3 bulan.   Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa (1) penggunaan   aplikasi Zoom memberikan pengalaman baru dalam aktivitas pembelajaran daring, (2) mahasiswa dapat dengan mudah mengoperasikan beberapa fitur aplikasi Zoom, (3) proses pembelajaran mengharapkan mahasiwa untuk menggunakan aplikasi Zoom, (4)  aplikasi Zoom merupakan salah satu e-learning yang dapat mendukung aktivitas pembelajaran secara daring,  (5) penggunaan aplikasi Zoom karena para teman sekelas menyetujui untuk menggunakan aplikasi Zoom, (6) serta para mahasiswa dapat menggunakan aplikasi Zoom dengan mudah dalam melakukan aktivitas pembelajaran daring.

Electronic learning is nowadays a reality that has been possible due to the recent advances in technology. Different new Web tools have been developed to be directly applied to the teaching/learning process at all levels, especially in higher education. In fact, e-learning tools are the key elements for carrying out educational innovation when dealing with overcrowded groups of students. This e-tools applied to assessment are analyzed in this chapter. In particular, diagnostic and formative e-assessment implemented on a Moodle-based VLE environment has been introduced in different basic Mechanics subjects, with similar contents but taught in different engineering degrees, in diverse years or with various group sizes. The benefits and underlying problems of this introduction are described here. This has been made in order to compare results of different subjects and to extract general conclusions, which could be extrapolated to any other engineering disciplines.
