The objective of this study is to understand how employee EI is a critical factor for improved organizational performance. Adopting a qualitative approach with a case study research design, a sample of 40 employees was selected from the organization; data collection was done through a questionnaire after pilot testing. An analysis is done using SPSS, within an interpretative research paradigm using thematic analyses. Findings reflect that understanding and knowledge on EI and its influence on the performance may add value to the organization as employees become aware of the best practices and contribute better for organizational performance. Further, it was also noted that EI is a significant predictor of job and organizational performance only if it is advocated and spearheaded through individual performance classified into the task and contextual performance.

Conflicts between engineers and technicians in maintenance departments of hotels can be impacted on both individual and organizational performance either constructively or destructively. Generally, the destructive impacts of conflicts on organizational performance are severe than constructive impacts. Therefore, understanding the nature of the major conflicts between engineers and technicians in maintenance departments is significant to provide high- quality maintenance services within hotel facilities to deliver the best hospitality services to foreign and local guests. Thus, this study aimed to investigate the nature of existing major conflicts between engineers and technicians in the maintenance departments of Sri Lankan hotel facilities. A qualitative approach was adopted by using the case study research strategy (five nr of cases) and empirical data was collected via two expert interviews in each case, and document review within selected cases. Manual content analysis was used to analyze the data. The findings of this study revealed that 13 existence major conflicts between engineers and technicians in maintenance departments of Sri Lankan hotel facilities were based on seven conflict categories with comparing the literature findings.

In the VAT Act taxable entrepreneurs have the obligation to calculate, calculate, deposit and report using the VAT Period VAT. The implementation must be fulfilled by taxpayers as a form of compliance and compliance with the Taxation Law. At present the taxable entrepreneur (agent) of 3 kg LPG cylinders, especially Malang Raya, is in the midst of an issue related to the debt owed and the non-payment of VAT on delivery. The purpose of this study is to evaluate in detail the facts or phenomena related to the implementation of VAT on subsidies for 3 kg LPG cylinders applied to PT. Gunawan Migas and PT. Lancar Putra Jaya in accordance with the VAT Act. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. This research is a case study research with descriptive analysis technique with a qualitative approach. The results of the study are: a) Differences in the implementation of VAT applied at PT. Gunawan Migas and PT. Lancar Putra Jaya. b) Differences of opinion between taxpayers, tax authorities and practitioners in the field of taxation between VAT payable and VAT unpaid for submission. c) Taxpayers consider that the tax authorities only pursue the budget function compared to the regularend function. This research is important to be conducted as a study material for the Government and the Tax Service Office (KPP) to follow up on policies related to the regulation of subsidized LPG 3 kg cylinders. ABSTRACTTraffic accidents involving minors are increasing every year. It was recorded that in the period 2015-2019, more than 139,000 underage motorists were the perpetrators of traffic accidents or an accumulation of around 16% of the total number of accidents in Indonesia. This study aims to discuss the behavior of children after being allowed to ride a motorbike and how parental supervision is concerned with this. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study research design. Data collection techniques were carried out through field observations and direct interviews with informants. The results of the study show 1) The licensing factor from family or parents, the efficiency of time used, as well as invitations from friends and lifestyle, affect minors who already use motorbikes, 2) The impact of underage motorists is a manifestation of self-existence by following the tracks and daring to modify the motorbike on the pretext of making it look cooler. 3) Parents have a very important role in supervising underage rider.ABSTRAKKecelakaan lalu lintas yang melibatkan anak di bawah umur semakin meningkat di setiap tahunnya. Tercatat dalam rentang tahun 2015-2019, lebih dari 139.000 pengendara di bawah umur menjadi pelaku kecelakaan lalu lintas,atau diakumulasi sekitar 16% dari jumlah total kecelakaan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas perilaku anak pasca diperbolehkannya mengendarai motor dan bagaimana pengawasan orang tua dalam menyikapi hal tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus.Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi di lapangan dan melakukan wawancara secara langsung kepada informan. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan 1) Faktor perizinan dari keluarga atau orang tua, efisiensi waktu yang digunakan, serta ajakan dari teman dan gaya hidup mempengaruhi anak di bawah umur sudah menggunakan motor, 2) Dampak dari pengendara motor di bawah umur ini merupakan wujud untuk menunjukkan eksistensi diri dengan mengikuti trek-trekan serta berani memodifikasi motor dengan dalih biar terlihat lebih keren.3) Orang tua memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam mengawasi pengendara di bawah umur, Pola pengasuhan yang diterapkan oleh orang tua sangat mempengaruhi pola perilaku dan juga proses pembentukan karakter anak.

<p><em>This article describes the process of implementing the Overlapping Yasindo Islamic SDLB, using a qualitative approach and type of case study research. Sources of data come from informants and documentation tailored to the focus of research. For data collection techniques using interviews, observation and literature studies. The data analysis is done by reducing data, presenting/displaying data and drawing conclusions. To check the validity of the data is done by triangulation of sources and methods, as well as discussions.</em></p><p><em>The results of the study show that: 1). PAI extracurricular activities carried out at Yasindo Islamic Elementary School Malang include daily programs including 4S (Smiles, greetings, and greetings), praying together, reciting the shahada and daily prayers before starting the lesson and after the experience is finished, the Dhuha prayer in congregation, mauidah hasanah, religious knowledge quiz, reciting the Qur'an, memorizing short letters, PHBI (Mawlid Prophet and Muharram 1 st Warning) PHBN (Commemoration of independence and other national holidays). 2) The moral development activities in the Yasindo Islamic SDLB Malang are conducted in 3 stages, the stage of strengthening the concept of morality (knowing), the application stage (doing) The step of being (being) and the creation of a religious atmosphere. 3). Supporting factors in the extracurricular implementation of PAI at Yasindo Malang Islamic SDLB include; active participation and enthusiasm of students, Collaboration with all teachers, support of student guardians, funding from schools, support from all parties. The inhibiting factor includes; The diverse needs of students so that the teacher must pay attention to each, facilities and infrastructure specifically for children with special needs that are less supportive.</em></p>

This study aims to measure the interest of students of SMA Negeri 6 Muaro Jambi towards physics subjects. The subjects in this study were 59 students majoring in science class XI MIPA at SMA Negeri 6 Muaro Jambi. The object of this research is interest in learning physics. The method used was a case study research method with a qualitative approach. Data collection was done by using an interest questionnaire. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results of this study indicate that students of class XI MIPA at SMA Negeri 6 Muaro Jambi have a good interest in studying physics. The average interest of class XI MIPA students is 89.9%.

Abstract: Symbolic Violence Representation in the Mechanism of Euphemism and Sensori-zation of Lecturer Speech. This study aims to describe the representation of symbolic violence in the mechanism of euphemism and censorship of lecturers' speeches to students in the class. This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of case study research. Data in the form of sentences in lecturer speech to students. Data collection techniques used are observation, recording, and recording. Bourdieu's social class theory which was constructed in the mechanism of euphemism and censorship became the basis for studying this research data. Symbolic violence is represented in the mechanism of euphemism and the censorship mechanism. The results of the study show that symbolic violence through lecturer speech inspired by institutional authority shapes the behaviors, thoughts, and beliefs that can be accepted in certain social spaces. This is done on the basis of "to educate" students to behave and act better.

Abstract. Divorce often produces both positive and negative influences in all aspects of children’s life. This research intends to seek whether parents’ divorce can affect a child’s health condition, psychology and spiritual which are referred as a bio-psychosocial and spiritual tools. By utilizing these tools, it is expected that a better understanding can be drawn to what extent divorce may affect children of divorced parents. This thesis uses a qualitative approach with a case study research methodology where data collection techniques includes interviews, observation and documentation. The findings indicate that biopsychosocial and spiritual tools can provides information on the impact upon children with divorced parents. These impacts can be comprehended through the biological aspects, how health conditions of children altered prior to and following the separation of parents. The psychological and spiritual conditions can be perceived through how a child interacts with the environment. Abstrak. Perceraian kerap kali membawa pengaruh dalam segala aspek kehidupan anak baik pengaruh yang bersifat positif maupun negatif. Penelitian ini perlu dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah perceraian orang tua dapat mempengaruhi kondisi kesehatan anak, psikologis anak serta spiritual anak atau dapat disebut sebagai biopsikososial dan spiritual. Dengan memperhatikan aspek tersebut diharapkan perceraian tidak menjadi momok yang menakutkan bagi anak karena meskipun orang tua mereka berpisah, mereka masih dapat merasakan kasih sayang seutuhnya dari kedua orang tua. Pendekatan yang peneliti gunakan dalam skripsi ini adalah metodologi penelitian kualitatif dengan penelitian studi kasus, dimana teknik pengumpulan data penulis dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Adapun hasil temuan yang peneliti dapatkan mengenai dampak biopsikososial dan spiritual korban perceraian orang tuanya, adalah dapat dilihat melalui aspek biologis yaitu bagaimana kondisi kesehatan anak sebelum dan sesudah perceraian orang tuanya, aspek psikologis yaitu bagaimana konsep diri seorang anak dengan perceraian orang tuanya, aspek sosial dan spiritual adalah bagaimana interaksi seorang anak dengan lingkungan, apakah perceraian benar-benar memberikan pengaruh terhadap aspek-aspek tersebut diatas.

Abstract: This study describes the implementation of the supervision of character-based learning by school principals in 6 Bukit Tunggal Public Elementary School Palangka Raya City. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study research design. This study refers to aspects of the implementation of the supervision of character-based learning by the principal that focuses on: 1) the strategy of implementing character-based learning supervision; and 2) supporting factors and obstacles in implementing character-based learning supervision. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. From the results of the study, data were collected and analyzed using interactive patterns from Miles and Huberman (reduction, presentation of data, and drawing conclusions). The results showed that: (1) the strategy of implementing character-based learning supervision by school principals used individual methods which included personal conversations, class visits, classroom observations, and meetings with the teacher council. And (2) supporting factors and obstacles faced by school principals in implementing the supervision of character-based learning namely: (1) supporting factors such as: support from the relevant education office, support from parents of students who want their children to get quality learning. Whereas (2) the obstacle faced is that teachers are still found to avoid even afraid to be supervised, as well as the lack of understanding of teachers regarding the importance of supervision in improving and improving the learning process in the classroom. Keywords: Implementation, Learning Supervision, Character Abstrak: Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan implementasi supervisi pembelajaran berbasis karakter oleh kepala sekolah di SDN 6 Bukit Tunggal Kota Palangka Raya. Penelitian ini mengunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan penelitian studi kasus. Penelitian ini mengacu pada aspek implementasi supervisi pembelajaran berbasis karakter yang berfokus pada: 1) strategi implementasi supervisi pembelajaran berbasis karakter; serta 2) faktor pendukung dan kendala dalam implementasi supervisi pembelajaran berbasis karakter. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian, data dikumpulkan dan di analisis dengan menggunakan pola interaktif dari Miles dan Huberman (reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) strategi implementasi supervisi pembelajaran berbasis karakter oleh kepala sekolah menggunakan metode bersifat individual yang meliputi percakapan pribadi, kunjungan kelas, observasi kelas, dan rapat dengan dewan guru. Serta (2) faktor pendukung dan kendala yang dihadapi oleh kepala sekolah dalam mengimplementasikan supervisi pembelajaran berbasis karakter yakni: (1) faktor pendukungnya seperti: adanya dukungan dari pihak dinas pendidikan terkait, dukungan dari orang tua siswa yang ingin anak-anaknya mendapatkan pembelajaran yang berkualitas. Sedangkan (2) kendala yang dihadapi ialah masih ditemukan guru yang menghindar bahkan takut untuk disupervisi, serta kurangnya pemahaman guru terkait pentingnya supervisi dalam memperbaiki dan meningkatkan proses pembelajaran di kelas. One of the concepts of welfare proposed by Ibn Khaldun about circle of equity and the concept of ashabiyah can be a reference. This article aims to analyze the concept of the welfare of Ibn Khaldun's Ashabiyah perspective by taking samples of community research around Tebuireng religious tourism. This research article uses a qualitative approach to the type of case study research. Data collection techniques using direct interviews, documentation and observation. The results of the analysis show that religious tourism in Tebuireng is beneficial to the communities around and within the religious tourism area and the focus of management on religious tourism is the community with synergies between community groups that need to be improved.</p></td></tr></tbody></table></div>

Upaya resolusi konflik dibangun untuk mencegah timbulnya konflik komunal di antara warga etnis Tionghoa dan etnis Jawa. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menguraikan upaya dalam membangun kerukunan antara etnis Tionghoa dan etnis Jawa di Kampung Pecinan, Sudiroprajan, melalui resolusi konflik berbasis budaya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa resolusi konflik berbasis budaya di Kampung Pecinan, Sudiroprajan meliputi: 1) proses perkawinan silang antara etnis Tionghoa dan Jawa; 2)  prinsip “kumpul ra kumpul mangan” yang selanjutnya memberikan motivasi kepada masyarakat dari etnis Jawa; 3) Bangunan yang mengolaborasikan motif dan ukiran Cina dan Jawa; 4) Berbagai upacara keagamaan yang melibatkan seluruh partisipasi etnis; 5) Pertunjukkan wayang potehi dan barongsai yang dimainkan secara bersama-sama baik oleh etnis Tionghoa maupun etnis Jawa.-----Conflict resolution efforts were built to prevent communal conflict between ethnic Tionghoa and ethnic Javanese. The purpose of this study is to describe the efforts in building harmony between Tionghoa and Javanese ethnic groups in Kampung Pecinan, Sudiroprajan, through cultural-based conflict resolution. This research is a case study research using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that cultural-based conflict resolution in Kampung Pecinan, Sudiroprajan included: 1) the process of cross-marriages between ethnic Tionghoa and Javanese; 2) the principle of "gathering together manganese gathering" which further provides motivation to the people of ethnic Javanese; 3) Buildings collaborating on Tionghoa and Javanese motifs and engravings; 4) Various religious ceremonies involving all ethnic participation; 5) Puppet potehi and barongsai performances that are played together both by ethnic Tionghoa and Javanese.
