Background: Poor clean and healthy life behaviours (CHLB) are often found in students (santri) in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) in Indonesia. Pesantren is a subculture that has derived different cultural values from society, while santri have a habit of borrowing and lending clothes and see scabies as a blessing. This study aimed to identify and describe the correlation between cultural values and CHLB practices among santri.Design and Methods: It used descriptive analytics with a cross-sectional approach. The participants were 100 santri who lived in pesantren and were selected by using stratified random sampling. The cultural values and CHLB practices were assessed using the instruments developed by the writers in the previous study. The statistical analysis using the Spearman correlation test was applied to evaluate the association between cultural values and CHLB practices. Results: The result shows a significant correlation between cultural values and CHLB practices among santri (p=0.004; r=0.284). Most of the santri had positive cultural values (52%) and poor CHLB practices (54%).Conclusions: The findings of this study showed that most of the santri adhered to positive cultural values, and most of them had poor CHLB practices. These findings also showed significant correlation between cultural values and CHLB practices among santri. This study is expected to be the basis for school nurses to provide nursing care with a cultural approach to improve CHLB practices among santri.

Background Evidence suggests that obesity may be related toearly onset of puberty in girls. However, few studies have found alink between body mass index (BMI) and puberty onset in boys.More study is needed to assess the relationship of BMI to penilelength and testicular volume. Objective To investigate the relationship ofBMI to penile lengthand testicular volume in adolescent boys. Methods A cross􀀿sectional study was carried out on adolescentboys aged 9 to 14 years in Secanggang District, Langkat Regency,North Sumatera Province in August 2009. Subjects' BMIs werecalculated by dividing body weight (BW) in kilograms by bodyheight (BH) in meters squared. Penile length (em) was measuredwith a spatula. We took the average of three measurements fromthe symphysis pubis to the tip of the glans penis. Testicular volume(mL) was estimated by palpation using an orchidometer. Pearson'scorrelation test (r) was used to assess the relationship of BMI topenile length and BMI to testicular volume.Resu lts There were 108 participants, consisting of 64primary school students and 44 junior high school students.Subjects' mean age was 11.7 (SO 1.62) years; mean BWwas 35.2 (SO 8.48) kg; mean BH was 1.4 (SO 0.11) m;mean BMI was 17.5 (SO 2.34) kg/m'; mean penile lengthwas 4.5 (SO 1.25) cm; and mean testicular volume was 3.6(SD 1.20) mL. We found no significant association betweenBMI and penile length (r􀀻-0.25, P􀀻0.06), nor betweenBMI and testicular volume (r􀀻-O.21; P􀀻O.09).Conclusion T here was no significant relationship ofBMI to penilelength nor BMI to testicular volume in adolescent boys.[Paediatr lndanes. 2012;52:267-71].

BACKGROUND
Cadmium (Cd) is a heavy metal that is classified as a human carcinogen (group IA), one of the cancers that it can cause being prostate cancer. The development of prostate cancer on a molecular basis involves oncogenes such as insuline-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1). Prostate cancer can be detected in the laboratory through the examination of prostate specific antigen (PSA). The present study aimed to determine the relationship of Cd levels with levels of PSA and IGF-1 in exposed and unexposed workers.

METHODS
The study design was cross sectional. The subjects of the studycame from two groups of workers, ie. the group of Cd exposed workers who were welding shop workers and the group of unexposed workers who were office workers. The minimum samplesize was 85 people. The independent variable was blood Cd level. The dependent variables were PSA and IGF-1 levels. Blood Cd levels were measured by atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS), while PSA and IGF-1 were measured using ELISA. Data analysis was performed using the Mann-Whitney test and the Spearman correlation test.

RESULTS
Mean blood Cd level in the exposed workers was 6.5 mg/L and in the unexposed workers 2.15 mg/L. There was a relationship between blood Cd and PSA levels (p<0.05) and between blood Cd levels and IGF-1 (p <0.05).

CONCLUSIONS
There was a relationship of blood Cd with PSA and IGF-1 levels.among workers. PSA and IGF-1 could be a biochemical markers of disease control in cadmium exposed workers.

The questionnaire used to collect data consisted of a questionnaire with a variable x and a questionnaire with a variable y. Supporting data were obtained through observation and interviews with respondents, namely teachers and several students. Data were analyzed through correlation hypothesis testing with bivariate correlation coefficient technique, namely product moment using SPSS. The results show; There is a close relationship of 0.76 between the two variables. The results of this study answer the contradiction between the two views. One side supports, the other side opposes the theory of the relationship between education, the value of clean and healthy life, a multicultural Islamic perspective on the formation of students' clean and healthy living behavior. Aren (Arengapinnata) is a type of coconut palm which is one of the plants that can produce a type of traditional alcoholic beverage and has 4% alcohol content. Consumption of too much alcohol can cause anemia by affecting the process of blood formation (hematopoiesis) through metabolic and nutritional effects and also directly inhibits the proliferation of all cellular elements in the bone marrow. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of the duration of kameko consumption to hematological levels in Labaha Village, WatoputeSubdistrict, Muna Regency in 2018. This study is an observational analytical study with a cross sectional study design. The results showed that of the 25 respondents, the cross tabulation test showed, for the duration of consumption with hematological levels ≤ 5 years with a total of 17 respondents obtained abnormal examination scores for Hemoglobin levels (58.8%), Erythrocytes (41.2%), and Leukocytes (41.2%). While consumption of kameko> 5 years with a total of 8 respondents, abnormal hematological levels were obtained. While the spearman correlation test between the duration of consumption and the three parameters of Hemoglobin test, Erythrocyte and Leukocyte obtained sig. p <0.05 with correlation strength of each value r = - 0.953, r = - 0.934, r = 0.82. The conclusion of this study is that there is a correlation between the duration of consumption to hematological levels (Hemoglobin, Leukocytes and Erythrocytes) with Kameko consumption in Labaha Village, Watopute District, Muna Regency in 2018.
