Subject area Innovation, privatisation and property development. Study level/applicability Undergraduate and MA level property development courses; modules covering privatisation within undergraduate, MBA and MA level management programmes. Case overview This paper presents the genesis and motivating factors that stimulate a managing director of a housing development (D&B Private Limited Company) to introduce innovation as a strategic solution to the challenges which hinder his firm's growth. The recently launched Ten Malaysian Plan and the Sustainable Programme for Corporate Malaysia are identified as the two stimulating events that triggered the initiation and subsequent implementation of innovation into Design and Build Sdn Bhd. Innovation has been recognized as an endeavor that impacts positively and significantly the performance of the firm that innovates. There was a major focus on factors that enhance innovation of a firm: structure, culture, resources and how to address or react to external factors such as government regulation on innovation, environmental uncertainty and market competition. The quest to be an innovative firm has led to major changes in the structure, culture and review of the firm intangible resources. Coupled with some corporate responsibilities, Design and Build Sdn Bhd has been recognized for its unique performance resulting from the competitive advantage derived from this very idea of innovations. Expected learning outcomes Students are expected to be able: to present a basic understanding of the motivations and driving force behind the housing developer's keen interest to innovate, to present the multiple benefits of adopting innovation in the housing industry, to highlight the internal and external factors which positively influence innovation among housing developers?, to present how housing developers are able to manage challenges facing their companies through innovation. Over the past three decades, Ahmadiyah has been at the center of one of the most significant controversies within the Indonesian Muslim community, particularly after the issuance of MUI’s (Majelis Ulama Indonesia/The Council of Indonesian Ulama) Fatwas in 1980 and 2005 respectively. This paper undertakes a discussion of Ahmadiyah, reviewing its initial contacts with several Muslim organizations such as Muhammadiyah and Syarikat Islam, its roles in disseminating the idea of progressive and modern Islam among Muslim scholars in 1940s to 1960s. The second part will review internal and external factors contributing to the issuance of MUI Fatwa 1980 in the light of preserving orthodoxy within the Indonesian Muslim community. It will also highlight in brief the government response toward the Ahmadiyah’s case. The last part focuses mainly on the Fatwa 2005 and its impact on the more strained relationships within the Muslim community in Indonesia. It will examine socio-political conditions before and after the Fatwa 2005 in light of the steady rise of a new model of Islamism in Indonesia and the conservative shift within the MUI itself, particularly after the downfall of the New Order’s regime in 1998. The arguments ‘pro and contra’ Fatwa 2005, as well as the ‘awkward position’ of the new government on this issue, will be analysed in detail.

Attitudes and behaviors are the unity of a person's character which is formed by habit everyday. Entrepreneurial behavior is influenced by internal and external factors. These factors are ownership rights (property right, PR), abilities / competencies (competency / ability,), and incentives while external factors include the environment thus Attitudes and behavior can be changed by oneself and / or there are environmental pressures / influences. there is an influence from within themselves and from outside the environment to associate then grow indi attitudes and specific behaviors. It is necessary to anticipate small businesses’ difficulties by conducting an empirical study  on  the  entrepreneurial  spirit,  entrepreneurial  values,  and  assessment  of entrepreneurial behavior that may affect the realization of independence efforts. This study  aims to  analyze the  influence of  entrepreneurial spirit  and entrepreneurial values on entrepreneurial behavior to create business independence. The findings show that the entrepreneurial spirit has a direct positive influence on entrepreneurial behavior and positive indirect effect on the business independence.

This essay analyzes the political motivations behind the Jewish Nation-State Bill introduced in the Knesset in November 2014, shedding light on the ascendancy of the Israeli political establishment's radical right wing. It argues that there were both internal and external factors at work and that it is only by examining these thoroughly that the magnitude of the racist agenda currently being promoted can be grasped. The essay also discusses the proposed legislation's long history and the implications of this effort to constitutionalize what amounts to majoritarian despotism in present-day Israel.

The topic of this research is "Learning the Book of Al-Muhadasah Wa Muthala'ahAl-Arabiyah Juz Awwal for the Development of Maharah Kalam in the IslamicBoarding School Darul Lughah Waddirosatil Islamiyah, Seninan Akkor PelengaanPamekasan Madura, East Java". Every year there must be acceptance of newsantri in all of the rapidly developing huts in Indonesia, The new santri usuallyfind it difficult to speak Arabic because they don't know much about Arabicbefore entering pondok. This research aim to know the steps of learning and thepositive factors that influence the learning. This research use qualitative researchmethods. The results of this study are as follows: 1. Learning Steps to the Book"Al-Muhadasah Wa Muthala'ah Al-Arabiyah Juz Awwal" the teacher greets,remembering the students last lesson, giving new teaching material, the teacherreading the Muhadasah text and the students practiced the Muhadasah text thestudents were allowed to ask about the difficult mufrodat, the students translatedthe muhadasah text according to their abilities, then the teacher interpreted thewhole of the Muhadasah text. then the teacher gives training about sometimesthe teacher gives Arabic language games, the teacher tells students to memorize the muhadasah text and tells them to have two or two in front of the class, at the end of the lesson the teacher gives advice and motivation. 2. There are twopositive factors in the Learning of the Book "Al-Muhadasah Wa Muthala'ahAl-Arabiyah Juz Awwal" namely internal and external factors, internal factorsnamely: provisional teachers, the use of learning methodologies and appropriateteaching materials, students are eager to learn. External factors are: the scope ofthe Arabic language contained in the cottage.

The Impact

Subject. This article discusses the role of social infrastructure in the national economy and analyzes the relationship between the notions of Infrastructure, Service Industry and Non-Productive Sphere. Objectives. The article aims to outline a methodology for development of the social infrastructure of Russia's regions. Methods. For the study, we used the methods of statistical and comparative analyses. The Republic of Crimea and Rostov Oblast's social infrastructure development was considered as a case study. Results. The article finds that the level of social infrastructure is determined by a number of internal and external factors. By analyzing and assessing such factors, it is possible to develop promising areas for the social sphere advancement. Conclusions. Assessment and analysis of internal factors largely determined by the region's characteristics, as well as a comprehensive consideration of the impact of external factors will help ensure the competitiveness of the region's economy.

Farmers participation is crucial for succeeding in the implementation of agricultural insurance in Indonesia. The purposes of this research are analyzing farmers' form and level of participation and also identifying some factors affecting farmer’s participation in agricultural insurance. The research was conducted in Curug Bitung Village, District of Nanggung, Bogor Regency involving 40 respondents. Primary data includes farmers characteristics, farmers participation form and farmers participation level as program beneficiaries. The data were processed using multivariable linear regression test. The results showed that the intensity of communication, age, education level, income level and length of stay did not significantly affect the participation level of farmers whose majority were at the level of no participation. Non-compliance occurs during program implementation. The form of participation shown by farmers in the program is varied.Keywords:  agricultural insurance, internal and external factors, farmers' participation ABSTRAK Partisipasi petani menjadi hal yang penting dalam rangka menyukseskan penerapan asuransi pertanian di Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis bentuk dan tingkat partisipasi petani dalam asuransi pertanian serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi partisipasi petani dalam program asuransi pertanian. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Curug Bitung, Kecamatan Nanggung, Kabupaten Bogor dengan melibatkan 40 responden. Data primer meliputi karakteristik petani, bentuk partisipasi petani dan tingkat partisipasi petani penerima program. Data diolah menggunakan uji regresi linier multivariable. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan intensitas komunikasi, usia, tingkat pendidikan, tingkat pendapatan dan lama tinggal tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap tingkat partisipasi petani yang  mayoritas berada pada tingkatan tidak ada partisipasi. Ketidaksesuaian banyak terjadi selama penyelenggaraan program. Adapun bentuk partisipasi yang ditunjukkan petani dalam program bervariasi.Kata kunci: asuransi pertanian, faktor internal-eksternal, partisipasi petani

The title of this study is the Strategy of Increasing Consumer Food Loyalty in CurupCity, Rejang Lebong Regency (Case Study in "Henvian" Typical Food Industry). Thisresearch is based on the importance of strategies in increasing business and consumerloyalty to products sold.Strategies to increase business and consumer loyalty can bedone with a SWOT analysis. Place of this research is the "Henvian" shop that sellstypical Rejang lebong food. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative.Informants in this study were people who were considered to know for certain about theHENVIAN Specialty Food Store in Curup City, Rejang Lebong Regency. The dataanalysis technique used in this study is a SWOT analysis to determine the strengths,weaknesses, opportunities and threats in a typical Rejang Lebong food business.By using SWOT analysis techniques that consist of strengths (weakness), weaknesses(weakness), opportunities (opportnity) and threats (threath). The results of this studycan be concluded that the internal factors that are the strength of the marketing strategyare the quality of the product that is good at a price affordable to the public andtourists, service that is friendly and responsive to consumer needs, as well astechnological advancements that facilitate the promotion of business. Internal factorsthat are a weakness are often lack of stock, there are some products that do not meet thestandard packaging, the product shelf life is short, employees do not use uniforms.External factors that become opportunities are a fairly high economic community,abundant raw materials while external factors that are a threat are the manycompetitors, an unstable economy, the price of basic needs increases. Based on theresults of the SWOT analysis of internal and external factors, the strategy used is toimprove product quality by improving the appearance of packaging and quality ofcontent and quality of service by providing uniforms to employees and providingstandards of service to consumers. .Keywords: Strategy, Consumer Loyalty, SWOT
