The study delved into the factors the influence students’ learning progress in the implementation of the science spiral progression curriculum in selected public junior high schools in the Division of Pasig City, Philippines, covering the school year 2017 – 2018. The study used the quantitative approach to research, particularly the descriptive research methodology. The specific descriptive research designs utilized were the correlational and normative surveys. The contextual analysis technique was likewise used. Data were statistically tested with the use of frequency distribution formula, percentage formula, and percentage weighted mean The study concluded that the perspectives of the science teachers in executing the science spiral progression curriculum vary from school to school. The study also found out that several factors influence the students' learning progress and that majority of the Grade 10 students for the School Year 2017 – 2018 of the Division of Pasig City Philippines have “fairly satisfactory” performance.

This study aims to describe the activeness of the members of the physics science study group by implementing the Ludo Board Game and seeing the students' responses to the application of the Ludo Board Game in increasing the activity of the members of the physics science learning group. To achieve this goal, descriptive research has been carried out using the Ludo Board Game game. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII MTS DDI Seppange in the 2019/2020 school year, which may be 24 people. The data research method used was observation (observation), questionnaires, interview techniques and documentation. Furthermore, the analysis technique is carried out by means of proportional descriptive data analysis. The results showed that the increase in the activity of students' study groups after the implementation of the Ludo Board Game (LBG). Meanwhile, the students' responses to the application of Ludo Board Game in increasing the activeness of members of the physics science study group were very feasible, namely for the quality of the content with an eligibility level of 81.25% and a 94.53% usage level.

The need to implement more vigorously new approaches in teaching and learning has become a necessity for education. It is essential to use new teaching approaches and strategies such that creating knowledge and developing skills will not only be easier but also more meaningful to students. One of the new approaches nowadays in the field of science is the algorithm approach. Thus, this study assesses the effectiveness of the algorithm approach in teaching Physics. The descriptive type of research was used with the questionnaire as the main instrument in gathering data. Respondents of the study were 42 science teachers from Batangas National High School for the school year 2017-2018. The statistical tool used in the study was weighted mean. The study revealed that algorithm approach was effective in teaching physics particularly in encouraging independent learning in problem solving, making students solve physics problems more easily, and arousing students’ curiosity.

The purpose of this study was to reveal: 1) The steps of aloud reading techniques in improving the ability to read the short al-Qur'ān surah in grade V students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Sambas in the 2019-2020 school year; 2) The results of the implementation of the aloud reading technique in improving the ability to read the short al-Qur'ān surah in grade V students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Sambas in the 2019-2020 academic year. This research uses a qualitative approach and descriptive research type. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data display and conclusions. The results showed that; 1) The steps for implementing the aloud reading technique in improving the ability to read the short al-Qur'ān surah in grade V students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Sambas for the 2019-2020 academic year, namely: a) The teacher chooses a short surah to read aloud; b) The teacher distributes al-Qur'ān Hadith textbooks to students; c) The teacher asks students to read a short surah together; d) When the reading is in progress, the teacher stops the students' reading in several places. Then the teacher pointed out and asked questions regarding the law of reciting recitation. The teacher gives sufficient time to discuss the students; e) The teacher divides students into groups and reads the surah in turn; f) The teacher ends the learning process by giving questions and conclusions. 2) The results of the implementation of the aloud reading technique in improving the ability to read the al-Qur'ān short surah in grade V students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Sambas in the 2019-2020 academic year is proven by the results of the final test which show an increase in the reading ability of students with an average score 80, category "good". Thus the implementation of the aloud reading technique can improve the students' ability to read the short al-Qur'ān surah in grade V at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Sambas in the 2019-2020 academic year.

This research aims to describe the teachers’ role in developing student's independence through counseling (BK) services at the Suryodiningratan 1 Public Elementary School Yogyakarta in the 2018/2019 school year. This study included qualitative descriptive research. The subjects of this study were the principal, the 1st grade till 6th-grade teachers, 4th grade to 6th-grade students, and their parents. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study used some steps namely data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Based on the teachers’ role in developing students’ independence through counseling services at the Suryodiningratan 1 Public Elementary School Yogyakarta in 2018/2019 school year, the results were described in the form of descriptions and tables.

This study was conducted to determine the level of academic quality compliance of public secondary high schools and its predictors as input to strengthen institutional profiling. The respondents of the study were 167 teachers and school managers in (9) public secondary junior high schools in the City Schools Division of San Jose del Monte Bulacan for the School Year 2017-2018. The descriptive research design was used employing the predictive technique in determining the influence of respondents’ profile, institutions’ profile variables and the management capability factors as the academic quality compliance of the schools. The findings revealed that the schools’ academic quality compliance on leadership and governance is predicted by the NAT (Beta = .431), promotion rate (Beta= 1.170), and enrollment rate (Beta = .747).  The management capability on quality instruction predicts the schools’ academic quality compliance on curriculum and learning (Beta = .971) and the academic quality compliance on accountability and continuous improvement is influenced by the management capability on quality instruction. The promotion rate of the school predicts the academic quality compliance of the school in the area of management of resources (Beta =.671). The hypothesis stating that the respondent's profile, institutional profile, and management capability, singly or combination predict the schools' academic quality compliance is partly sustained.

Abstrak Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya meningkatkan prestasi belajar PPKn dengan menggunkan model Brain Based Learning Kelas VII B SMP Negeri 16 Rejang Lebong Bengkulu Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020. Penelitian dilakukan di Kabupaten Rejang Lebong Bengkulu pada tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 di Kelas VII B dengan jumlah 26 siswa (Laki-laki 11 dan Perempuan 15). Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini menggunkan siklus model Kermmis dan Mc Taggart yaitu rencana, tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, tes evaluasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Teknik Analisi Data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif yaitu terjadi peningkatan prestasi belajar dari pra siklus. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa upaya untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa kelas VII B SMP Negeri 16 Rejang Lebong Bengkulu dengan menggunakan model Brain Based Learninghasil jumlah perhitungan pra siklus dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 50,00%, pada siklus I mengalami peningkatan tuntas dengan persentase 57,69%, dan pada siklus II mengalami kenaikan kembali dengan presentase 65,38%. Sesuai dengan KKM 70 dan Indikator keberhasilan 60% dengan hasil yang diperoleh di siklus II maka, Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini dihentikan karena prestasi belajar siswa meningkat dan sudah mencapai indikator keberhasilan yang telah ditentukan. Kata Kunci : Prestasi Belajar, PPKn Brain Based Learning Abstract This Classroom Action Research aims to determine efforts to improve PPKn learning achievement by using the Class VII B Brain Based Learning model of SMP Negeri 16 Rejang Lebong Bengkulu for the 2019/2020 academic year. The research was conducted in Rejang Lebong Bengkulu Regency in the 2019/2020 school year in Class VII B with a total of 26 students (male 11 and female 15). This Classroom Action Research uses the Kermmis and Mc Taggart model cycle, namely planning, acting, observing and reflecting. Data collection was carried out by observation, evaluation tests, interviews, documentation. The data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive, namely an increase in learning achievement from the pre-cycle. The results of the study concluded that efforts to improve student achievement in class VII B SMP Negeri 16 Rejang Lebong Bengkulu using the Brain Based Learningmodel resulted in the number of pre-cycle calculations with a completeness percentage of 50.00%, in the first cycle experienced an increase in completeness with a percentage of 57.69% , and in the second cycle it increased again with a percentage of 65.38%. In accordance with KKM 70 and success indicators of 60% with the results obtained in cycle II, this Classroom Action Research was stopped because student learning achievement had increased and had reached predetermined success indicators. The purpose of this study is to find out how much Return On Investment (ROI) is to assess the financial performance of PT Mitra Investindo, Tbk. This type of quantitative descriptive research uses secondary data. Data collection techniques are documentation and literature study. Research population for 22 years from the start of listing on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 1997-2019. Then a sample of 10 years from 2010-2019 with purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used statistical analysis with a one-sample t-test. The results showed that the Return On Investment (ROI) to assess the financial performance of      PT Mitra Investindo, Tbk was in a bad condition because it was less than 30% of the expected.

<p class="Abstrak">Sistem Informasi Geografi (SIG) dengan layanan informasi pengelolaan lahan yang cocok sehingga lahan akan bernilai ekonomi, oleh karenanya penelitian ini membahas pemetaan dan pengkajian potensi sumber daya lahan pesisir dalam mendukung usaha budidaya, pariwisata, konservasi, dan daerah tangkapan ikan yang berkelanjutan. Metode penelitian secara deskriptif memakai pendekatan survei untuk pengamatan wilayah penelitian dan pengumpulan data sekunder serta pendekatan analisis spasial untuk parameter dan kriteria kesesuaian lahan. Teknik pengolahan dan analisis data ini menggunakan <em>software</em> SIG yakni <em>ArcGIS</em> 10.1 dengan model <em>skorin</em>g dan <em>overlay</em>. Hasil penelitian dengan studi kasus Kepulauan Padaido ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa saat ini dengan adanya SIG yang dibangun, Pemerintah Daerah Biak Numfor sudah dapat mengolah lahan pesisir untuk dimanfaatkan sesuai dengan potensi lahan yang seharusnya, seperti potensi lahan untuk usaha budidaya rumput laut seluas 13.269,41 ha atau 94%, untuk budidaya teripang seluas 7.069,91 ha atau 83%, sebagai aktifitas pariwisata pesisir seluas 7.778,45 ha atau 86%, sebagai kegiatan konservasi seluas 2.957,54 ha atau 163%, untuk daerah tangkapan ikan karang seluas 2.078,92 ha atau 80%, dan sebagai daerah tangkapan ikan pelagis 1.585,61 ha atau 87%.</p><p class="Abstrak"> </p><p class="Abstrak"><em><strong>Abstract</strong></em></p><p><em>Geographic Information System (GIS) with suitable land management information services so that the land will be of economic value, therefore this study discusses the mapping and assessment of the potential of coastal land resources in supporting sustainable aquaculture, tourism, conservation, and fishing grounds. The descriptive research method uses a survey approach for observation of research areas and secondary data collection as well as a spatial analysis approach for land suitability parameters and criteria. This data processing and analysis technique uses GIS software namely ArcGIS 10.1 with a scoring and overlay model. The results of the study with the Padaido Islands case study can be concluded that currently with the GIS being built, the Regional Government of Biak Numfor has been able to cultivate coastal land to be used according to the potential of the land that should be, such as the potential land for seaweed cultivation business area of 13,269.41 ha or 94%, for sea cucumber cultivation covering 7,069.91 ha or 83%, as coastal tourism activities covering 7,778.45 ha or 86%, as conservation activities covering 2,957.54 ha or 163%, for reef catchments covering 2,078.92 ha or 80%, and as a pelagic catchment area 1,585.61 ha or 87%.</em><em></em></p><p> </p>

The sector developed in Indonesia at this time is the tourism sector. The purpose of this study is to find out how the development of attractions, supporting and inhibiting factors, and formulate strategies in the development of tourism objects in Rejang Lebong Regency. This research uses descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. Data in this study were collected through interviews, documentation, observation and data triangulation. The analysis technique used in writing uses the SWOT analysis and Litmust Test to be reduced, presented and concluded. The results of research strategies for developing tourism objects in Rejang Lebong Regency are still not maximal, because there are many weaknesses in each component in the tourism area which become a benchmark for the development of Bengkulu Province tourist destinations, Rejang Lebong. The influencing factors are internal factors, namely strengths and weaknesses and external factors, namely opportunities and threats. Based on these factors, researchers can reformulate the strategy in the development of attractions in Rejang Lebong Regency, Bengkulu Province

This research finds out the effect of product, price and service quality toward customer satisfaction both partially and simultaneously at Warsu Coffe Cafe. It is descriptive research with a quantitative method. The data were collected using questionnaires and documentation. The populations were the consumers who visited and bought a product in Warsu Coffe Cafe. The samples were 87 respondents that were chosen by using nonprobability sampling technique with incidental sampling type. The analysis technique used multiple linear regression. The result showed that both partially and simultaneously, the product, price, and service quality affect customer satisfaction. The most dominant influence is product quality on customer satisfaction, it shows that the Warsu Coffee Cafe has good product quality.
