Understanding of accounting has an important meaning both for students and for universities. The purpose of this research is to determine the direct and indirect effect of competency variables and teaching style on accounting understanding through motivation. This type of research is classified as a cause-and-effect research where this research was conducted at STIE Mahkota Tricom Unggul. As for the target population and sample in this study, they are active in the 2019-2020 school year, amounting to 112 people. Where the sampling technique is quota sampling. Where the sample in this study amounted to 112 respondents. Furthermore, the data collection technique used a questionnaire which was distributed to all samples. The questionnaire measurement scale uses the Likert scale. The results showed that competency had a positive and significant effect on motivation. Teaching style has a positive and significant effect on motivation. Competence has a positive and significant effect on accounting understanding. Teaching style has no effect on students' accounting understanding at STIE Mahkota Tricom Unggul. Motivation has a positive and significant effect on student accounting understanding at STIE Mahkota Tricom Unggul. Motivation has no role in mediating competence in accounting understanding. However, motivation has a role in mediating the teaching style of accounting understanding.

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of compensation on job satisfaction, to determine the effect of work discipline on job satisfaction, to determine the effect of compensation and work discipline on job satisfaction, to determine the effect of compensation and work discipline on lecturer performance through job satisfaction. This type of research is causal (cause and effect. The population and sample in this study were permanent lecturers of LP3M Superior Polytechnic as many as 52 people. Furthermore, the sampling technique used quota sampling. Then the data collection technique used questionnaires with a Likert scale. The results showed that partially and simultaneously compensation and work discipline had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction of lecturers. Furthermore, for the indirect effect shows that the compensation and work discipline variables have a positive and significant effect on the performance of lecturers through job satisfaction. The implication in this study shows that the compensation given is expected based on the performance of lecturers in the three-tridarma of higher education. Furthermore, work discipline shows that reward programs for outstanding lecturers are able to increase job satisfaction and have an impact on lecturer performance  ABSTRAK Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompenasi terhadap kepuasan kerja, untuk mengetahui pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja,  untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompensasi dan disiplin kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja, untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompensasi dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja dosen melalui kepuasan kerja. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu kausal (sebab-akibat. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini merupakan dosen tetap Politeknik Unggul LP3M sebanyak 52 orang. Selanjutnya teknik penarik sampel menggunakan kuota sampling. Kemudian teknik pengumpulan data menggunkan kusioner dengan skala likert. Hasil penelitian menununjukkan bahwa secara parsial dan simultan kompensasi dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja dosen. Selanjutnya untuk pengaruh tidak langsung menununjukkan bahwa variabel kompensasi dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja dosen melalui kepuasan kerja. Implikasi dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kompenasi yang diberikan diharapkan berdasarkan kinerja dosen dalan tridarma perguruan tinggi. Selanjutnya disiplin kerja menunjukkan bahwa program reward kepda dosen yang berprestasi mampu meningkatkan kepuasan kerja serta berdampak pada kinerja dosen.

Sumbawa Regency is a district in the Province of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Indonesia, where there are lots of local products, one of which is Semongkat Brand Gallon drinking water. Taken from natural springs from the mountains of Semongkat Tourism Village, Sumbawa Besar. The Objective is to significantly determine the effect of variables between brands and prices to the consumer’s decision in doing repurchased gallons of Semongkat mineral water in Sumbawa Regency. To find out which variables have the most significant influence on consumer decisions in repurchasing gallons of mineral water from the Semongkat brand in Sumbawa Regency, the type of research used is the associative one, which is a form of research aims to determine the relationship between two or more variables. This research builds a theory that can function to explain, predict and control a symptom. The population in this study are buyers (housewives) who make the decision to repurchase Semongkat brand mineral water products with the choice of gallon water. The sampling technique used was quota sampling technique based on certain considerations from the researcher (Djarwanto et.all, 1993:119) . For the number of population p is not known with certainty. The number of samples to be studied is 30 people. The variables of this research are the brand (X 1 ), the price is (X 2 ) and the purchase decision is (Y)  and therefore, data collection method used should be the method of random sampling, While the data collection technique should use a questionnaire. The aim of the research is to know the effect of using bimetal Musschenbroek Bimetal to the skill science processes this type of research conducted by researcher is Quasi Experimental with Non equivalent Control Group Desaign. This population of this research is all of students in Miftahul Falah Junior High school VII 2017/2018 school year which consist of thirty five until forty students. Devided seven classes are VII A, VII B, VII C, VII D, VII E, VII F, VII G, sampling technique in this research using cluster sampling technique. The experimental class was not choosen randomly but determined by the teacher and this taking sampling technique becouse the population is assismed to be normally distributed and in a homogenitas state so that selected VII A class as a contol class and VII D class as experiment class.Technique of data collection is done by using observation sheet method data collection technique were conducted using the observation sheet method skill science processes and documentation. Testing research hypotheseses show. There is significant influence  using Musschenbroek Bimetal to the students science prosess skills, in the test of the hypotheseses the researcher using taster hypothesis t right side from the result of post test show that value  tcount > ttableis  4,35 > 1,67 becouse tcount> ttable so H0  Rejected, Ha is received, so there is a difference influence on the leaning that carred on in the experimental class and control class.

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui lingkungan kerja, kompensasi, motivasi intrinsik terhadap loyalitas karyawan pada karyawan Waroeng Spesial Sambal Yogyakarta. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 karyawan Waroeng Spesial Sambal Yogyakarta dan dipersempit dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin menjadi 46 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah accidental sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner, survei langsung, dan skala pengukuran yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan skala  Likert. Hasil menunjukkan tidak ada pengaruh antara lingkungan kerja terhadap loyalitas karyawan, kompensasi tidak ada pengaruh terhadap loyalitas karyawan sedangkan motivasi intrinsik ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas karyawan. Kata kunci: lingkungan kerja, kompensasi motivasi intrinsik, loyalitas karyawan ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the work environment, compensation, intrinsic motivation on employee loyalty to employees of Waroeng Spesial Sambal Yogyakarta. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire, direct survey, and the measurement scale used in this study was a Likert scale. This study aims to analyze the value of the density of marine debris, perceptions and participation in Temberan beach and Pasir Padi beach, as well as determine the relationship of perception and participation to the density of marine debris. This research is a type of research that is descriptive with a mixed approach (quantitative and qualitative). The study was conducted at Temberan beach in Bangka Regency and Pasir Pasir Beach Pangkal Pinang in October 2019. The sampling technique used was random sampling and purposive sampling. The data collection technique was carried out using observation technique namely sampling and questionnaire. The validity test uses the Pearson Product Moment formula and the reliability test uses the Cronbach’s Alpha formula. The results showed that the density of debris in the Temberan beach was more dominant at 10.92 pieces/meter2, while at Temberan beach 3 pieces/meter2. The results of perception and participation are different, with the Temberan beach occupying more complex waste problems. The relationship of perception and participation in the density of marine debris have a relationship that affects each other.

One manifestation of the important role of banking in a region, as implemented by PT Bank Sumut, Gunungsitoli Branch, is to distribute loans for investment, consumption and working capital for the people in the area. The purpose of providing credit for banks is the return of credit that earns interest and can increase income to finance activities and business continuity. From the results of research conducted with this data collection technique, it shows that PT Bank Sumut has a number of loans from 2009 to 2014 which each year rises. From this study, it is also known that the rate of credit repayment has a positive influence on the level of profitability.

This study aims to determine: (1) The productive role of fishermen housewives in increasing family income in Sei Merbau Village, Teluk Nibung District, Tanjungbalai City, (2) The reproductive role of fishermen housewives in increasing family income in Sei Merbau Village, Teluk Nibung Kota District Tanjungbalai, and (3) The social role of fisherman housewives in increasing family income in Sei Merbau Village, Teluk Nibung District, Tanjungbalai City. This research was conducted in Sei Merbau Village, Teluk Nibung District, Tanjungbalai City in 2020. The population of this study were all fishermen housewives in Sei Merbau Village, amounting to 592 people, while the sample in this study was 10% of the total population (59 people. ) and taken using the Simple Random Sampling technique. The data collection technique is done by direct communication (interview). While the data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis techniques. The results showed that: (1) The highest productive role (48.78%) was performed by housewives who worked as factory workers, while the lowest role (21%) was performed by housewives who worked as coconut peeler. Overall, the role played by housewives of fishermen is 33.35% and is in the low category. (2) The reproductive role played by the housewives of fishermen in Kelurahan Sei Merbau, namely having dependents of 1 to 6 children. Most (57.63%) fishermen housewives had 1-2 children and a small proportion (8.47%) had 5-6 children with an average of 2-3 children. (3) In general (81.36%) fishermen housewives participated in the social activities of the unfortunate union and a small proportion (25.42%) participated in arisan activities. In addition, the recitation activity is useful for moral contributions to housewives so that they can motivate husbands to work to increase income and also motivate children to improve education. The highest role of arisan activities was 76.92% while the lowest role was 22.73%. With an average of 43.47%.

Covid-19 is a big challenge for Indonesians, it affects various aspects, in addition to economic aspects many aspects are also harmed by Covid 19 aspk other aspects, namely aspectsofEducation. This research aims to find out the results of learning to write in the pandemic period in students of grade 9H SMPN 1 Karanggayam, Kebumen in the 2nd semester of the 2020/2021 school year and to find out the learning results of students in using the WhatsApp Grouping application. The method used in this study is a descriptive quantitative research method, with a sample of students of SMPN 1 Karanggayam. This research data collection technique uses observation techniques, questionnaires and recording techniques. The data collection instrument used in the study was an online learning questionnaire. The results of research in the use of WhatsApp media showed that the results of learning to write a rebuke against the results of grades that are not 100% most students have grades that are less or below KKM
