Physics learning barriers have been studied quite a lot, one of which is epistemological learning barriers. This study aims to determine the epistemological learning barriers and what the percentage of epistemological learning barriers on Newton’s law material about motion in one of the engineering class at one of the vocational high school in Indonesia. Therefore, the researchers reported the results of research related to epistemological learning barriers. This research was qualitative descriptive research. The subjects of this research were 65 students with an age range of 14-15 years. The data was collected using tests and interviews, then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The data validity was determined using technical triangulation. The results of this research indicated that high epistemological barriers were found in two indicators, namely the incorrect calculation and the difficulty to determine the right calculation units on the Newton’s First, Second, and Third Laws with the percentages of 88.75%, 6.87%, and 98.45% respectively. The average percentage epistemological learning barriers on the Newton’s First Law was 61.7% within the moderate category and the average percentages of epistemological learning barriers on Newton’s Second and Third Laws were 70.61% and 76.50% within the high categories. Based on these results, it can be concluded that students had difficulty calculating and determining Newton’s Laws’ unit of calculation. It indicated that the students experience epistemological learning barriers with a high category.

A research entitled Quality Assurance Management of Graduates in Ma’aarif NU Vocational High School Bobotsari and Muhammadiyah 2 Vocational High School Purbalingga, has done to find out the form of the quality assurance management of graduates, to find out the steps to reach quality assurance management of graduates, and to find out the assesment of quality assurance management of graduates in Ma’arif NU Vocational High School Bobotsari and Muhammadiyah 2 Vocational High School Purbalingga. The benefits of the research are theoritically expected to contribute ideas for the development of quality assurance management of graduates in vocational high schools. In other words, this study is expected to be a source of discussion and a source of inspiration, and practically, for principals of vocational high school institutions in taking decisions related to the development of vocational high school education institution he leads, as an effort to improve the quality of school management to ensuring the quality of education esspecially quality of the graduates, add knowledge of quality assurance management of graduates. This research was qualitative descriptive research and the subject of the research are principal, vice principals, quality management representative team, teachers, employees and others who can provide information related to the research. This research was conducted using data collection methods such us observation, documentation and interview. The result of research show that Quality assurance management of graduates in Ma'arif NU Vocational High School Bobotsari and muhammadiyah 2 Vocational hig school Purbalingga using the form QMS ISO 9001: 2008, both of schools using Deming’s 14 Theories as the steps and also religious way as a partner to reach quality assurance management of graduates, The assesment of quality assurance management of graduates in Ma’arif NU Vocational High School is through self assesment and external audit. While in Muhammadiyah 2 Vocational High School Purbalingga is through self assesment, fulfillment customer satisfaction, monitoring & measurement, and external audit.

Currently, one form of implementing learning during the pandemic is distance learning. The process of learning biology during the pandemic presents various problems in the delivery of material. This study aims to look at the barriers and ways to solve them in distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The study used a qualitative descriptive research design with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The subjects of this research are teachers in the field of biology studies who have implemented distance learning with various brave application platforms in the hope of providing data related to distance learning barriers who act as informants; as well as students who experience obstacles in the implementation of distance learning. The results of the study obtained several obstacles in distance learning in biology learning, namely 1) obstacles in the learning process of learning materials which in using the application not all have Android cellphones, the network is not good during the learning process, and the level of student boredom. 2) obstacles in the interaction process in the learning process which usually appear on the subject or material that is difficult for students to understand. 3) the strength of the empowerment of facilities and elements in internet network learning is weak, running out of quota, and there are some students who do not have electronic devices. 4) obstacles in managing teaching materials to be delivered in the learning process that still need accuracy in choosing the right teaching materials

This study aims to determine the public relations strategy of Makassar State University in increasing the positive image of Makassar State University in the community. To find out these objectives, the researchers used a type of qualitative descriptive research. The informants in this study were as many as five people using data collection techniques carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. Data obtained from research results are processed using data analysis techniques consisting of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that Public Relations devised a strategy so that the function could run in accordance with the objectives of Makassar State University, among others, trying to create a conducive climate between institutions and the public in order to do persuasive and educative approaches to the public, trying to create two-way communication by disseminating information from institutions to public parties. educate and provide information, in order to create mutual understanding, respect, understanding and also strive to foster harmonious relations between organizations and various groups, both in and out relations to enhance cooperation. Public Relations seeks to socialize the Makassar State University mission to be accepted or received support from the public / public.

Literature and character education are two things that can not be separated. Literature as a reflection of the life of the community generally teaches the reader to be able to understand the wisdom of the displayed story. Literature can be used as a medium of learning, especially in the process of internalization of the value of character education to learners. The value of character education in the literary work is expected to be followed by the students. Currently, Indonesia is experiencing moral degradation. The need for moral cultivation to the learners aims to create human beings who are virtuous in the future. Each subject has the right to internalize character education to learners. So in the Indonesian language, the process of characterization of character education can be done when learning on literary materials. This study aims to describe the value of character education in Solopos children's stories. this research is included in qualitative descriptive research. The results of this study concluded that in the story Solopos child, there is a value of character education that can be taught to learners, especially at the elementary school level. The results showed that this child's story can be used as a reference for teachers, as a medium to internalize character education at the elementary school level. Sastra dan pendidikan karakter merupakan dua hal yang tidak dapat dipisahkan. Sastra sebagai cerminan kehidupan masyarakat, umumnya mengajarkan kepada pembaca untuk dapat memahami hikmah dari cerita yang ditampilkan. Sastra dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran, terutama dalam proses penginternalisasian nilai pendidikan karakter kepada peserta didik. Nilai pendidikan karakter dalam karya sastra tersebut diharapkan dapat diteladani oleh peserta didik. Saat ini Indonesia sedang mengalami degradasi moral. Perlunya penanaman moral kepada peserta didik bertujuan untuk menciptakan manusia yang berbudi pekerti di masa depan. Setiap mata pelajaran memiliki hak untuk menginternalisasikan pendidikan karakter kepada peserta didik. Maka dalam bahasa Indonesia, proses penginternalisasian pendidikan karakter dapat dilakukan ketika pembelajaran pada materi kesastraan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan nilai pendidikan karakter dalam cerita anak Solopos. penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian diskrptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa dalam cerita anak Solopos, terdapat nilai pendidikan karakter yang dapat diajarkan kepada peserta didik terutama pada jenjang sekolah dasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa cerita anak ini dapat digunakan sebagai rujukkan bagi guru, sebagai media untuk menginternalisasikan pendidikan karakter pada jenjang sekolah dasar.

ABSTRACT Vocational High School (SMK) S 8 Grakarsa Bengkulu which is located on Jl. Adam Malik Km 8, Kel. Sido Mulyo, Kec. Gading Cempaka, Bengkulu City. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The data collection technique in this study was by means of Observation, Interview, Questionnaire and Documentation, when teaching students the teacher went through (3) stages, namely the initial, core and closing stages of using learning media, knowing the concept of learning media, who used learning media, the stages of making learning media and internal and external factors that were found when video-based learning media were applied, in the implementation of learning in the room, students were seen to be active and enthusiastic in participating in learning because the teacher used video-based media by sending videos via android with an attractive display and media on when learning takes place, so that learning is interesting and good.

SMK Negeri 1 Samarinda (State Vocational High school 1 of Samarinda) is a general school that the principal still wants to build the Islamic character values through the 3S culture (Smile, Respect, and Greet), the culture of reading the holy Qur’an, praying together, the culture of discipline and honesty, and ethics in clothing. This research aims to find out the religious culture at SMK Negeri 1 Samarinda. The approach used was qualitative approach with qualitative descriptive research type. The data collection techniques were observation, interviews and documentation. Data validity test used source and method triangulation analyzed with member check. The data analysis technique used data reduction, presentation and concluding. The result of the research is that religious activities developed by the principal are such as the culture of 3S, reading Qur’an, praying before and after learning, praying together at the school mosque, the culture of honesty, discipline and ethics in clothing. The strategies of the principal in creating the religious culture at SMK Negeri 1 Samarinda were through planning, modelling, habituation, participation, evaluation, coordination, and motivation.

ABSTRAKUsaha sadar dan terencana untuk mewujudkan suasana belajar dan proses pembelajaran agar peserta didik secara aktif pengembangkan potensi yang dimiliki seperti kekuatan spiritual keagamaan, pengendalian diri, kepribadian, kecerdasan, dan memiliki akhlak mulia. Untuk mewujudkan masyarakat yang sejahtra tidak mudah tanpa keterlibatan pendidikan politik yang efektif.Pendidikan Politik yang efektif ialah mampu memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat tentang Hak dan Kewajibannya dalam Bidang Politik. Hal demikian yang ditanamkan pada Pemilih Pemula khususnya Siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Negeri 1 Omesuri Balauring. Bukan hanya memberikan kesadaran akan Hak dan kewajibannya dalam momentum Demokratis Pemilihan Kepala Daerah Bupati dan Wakil Bupati pada 15 Februari 2017 lalu tetapi juga memberikan pemahaman untuk menjadi Pemilih Cerdas yang tidak Dekriminatif kedaerahan dan Kesukuan ataupun sentiment Agama tetapi berdasarkan kemampuan memimpin tawaran visi misi yang ditawarkan para calon Bupati dan wakil bupati Lembata periode 2017 - 2022. Adapun tujuan dalam penelitian ini ialah sebagai berikut: 1) Menjelaskan bentuk-bentuk pendidikan politik pada pemilih pemula yang dilaksanakan oleh Panitia Pemilihan kecamatan pada pemilih pemula di SMAN 1 Balauring Kabupaten Lembata. 2) Mendeskripsikan dampak pendidikan politik yang dilakukan oleh Panitia Pemilihan Kecamatan pada pemilih pemula di SMAN 1 Balauring Kabupaten Lembata. Penilitian ini menggunakan teknik penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Dimana peneliti terjun langsung untuk menggali informasi terkait dengan judul dari penelitian. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi.Adapun informasi yang perlu digali informasinya adalah pemilih pemula SMAN 1 Balauring dan anggota Panitia Pemilihan Kecamatan (PPK).Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut: 1) Pendidikan politik yang menjadi tanggung jawab Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Kabupaten Lembata yang dilaksanakan di sekolah-sekolah salah satunya SMAN 1 Balauring, melalui Panitia Pemilihan Kecamatan (PPK) Omesuri dilakukan dengan metode sosialisasi pemilih pemula dengan sasaran Siswa-siswi SMAN 1 Balauring dengan kisaran umur 17 Tahun keatas dengan metode penyampaian ke kelas-kelas layaknya metode pengajaran biasa dan melalui alat bantu ajar yaitu bahan tayang materi tentang kepemiluan yang disampaiakan oleh KPU dan PPK. Materi yang disampaikan antara lain: Pengertian umum tentang Pemilu, Pemilih Pemula, syarata-syarat menjadi pemilih, dan PPK juga menyampaikan tentang kategori pemilih cerdas yang memilih berdasarakan kemampuan kepemimpinan, visi dan misi yang ditawarkan oleh calon Bupati dan Wakil Bupati. 2) Tujuan dari adanya pendidikan politik oleh KPU dan PPK adalah selain memberikan kesadaran akan hak yang dimiliki oleh pemilih pemulah juga untuk menekan angkah golongan putih (Golput). Melalui wawancara yang dilakukan oleh peneliti, adapun dampak dilihat dari respon Siswasiswi setelah adanya sosialisasi atau pendidikan politik oleh PPK yaitu kesadaran untuk hadir dan ikut memilih pada tanggal 15 Februari 2017.Kata Kunci : Pendidikan, Politik, Efektif, Tujuan, Pemilih, Pemilih Pemula, Cerdas, Pemimpian,bupati, wakil bupati. ABSTRACTThe enterprises are conscious and planned to realize learning atmosphere and learning process so that students are actively developing the potential possessed such as spiritual strength, self-control, personality, intelligence, and have good morale. To realize it is not easy without effective political education. It is education to given understanding to the public about rights and obligations in the political field. That things should be instilled in the novice voter especially student of SMA Negeri 1 Balauring. It is not only about provides awareness of his rights and obligations in the election of regents and vice regents on 15 February 2017,but provide an understanding to be an intelligent voter who does not decriminate regionalism or ethnic or religious sentiments but based on the leadership ability and vision of the mission offered by candidates for the period 2017-2022.The purpose of this research is: 1). To explains the forms of political education in novice voters that conducted by the district election committee on the novice voters in SMA Negeri 1 Balauring Kabupaten Lembata. 2). To describe the impact of political education undertaken by the district election committee on the novice voters in SMA Negeri 1 Balauring Kabupaten Lembata. this research used qualitative descriptive research technique. For this case researchers go directly to search for information related to the title of the research. The technique to collected data is interview, observation and documentation. Any information that needs to be searched is the novice voter in SMA Negeri 1 Balauring and a member of Panitia Pemilihan Kecamatan (PPK).Based on the research results obtained the following results: 1). the political education which is the responsibility of the Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) is implemented in the schools of one of the SMA Negeri 1 Balauring, through Panitia Pemilihan Kecamatan (PPK) Omesuri is done with the method of socialization of novice voters with the target students of SMA Negeri 1 Balauring with the age range of 17 years and over with the method of delivering to the classroom as usual teaching methods and through teaching aids that material about the election submitted by KPU and PPK. The material presented is general understanding of elections, novice voters, voter conditions, and PKK also presented about the intelligent voter category that chooses based on leadership ability, vision and mission offered by candidates. 2) the purpose of political education by KPU and PKK is reduce the number of voters who do not vote (Golput). The aim of this study is to describe errors output when pre-service mathematics teachers were writing output of the syntax that given in macro excel manually. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with 101 participants from 2nd year pre-service mathematics teachers from one of state university at Nusa Tenggara Barat, Indonesia. Instrument used consists of one syntax that has 8 outputs when it is run and that will be analysed using Newman’s procedures. The eight outputs come from 3 types of output, namely text, numbers, and count. The result showed that the average percentage of syntax output writing errors was 87.13%. It also indicated to reading errors of 48.51%, comprehension errors of 18.81%, transformation errors of 83.17%, process skill errors of 20.79%, and encoding errors of 87.13%. Based on the result, errors occur when participants incorrectly write output and wrong in writing the result of the count. In addition, factors that caused these errors are 1) participants were not trained in providing information that was in the problem, 2) participants did not read the instructions in the problem correctly, and 3) participants did not pay attention to the suitability of syntax and output as was learned before. This research can be a reference for lecturers to develop learning about programming languages that can make students understand the use of syntax with the emphasis on manual syntax learning which will make their logic easier when applyng the syntax on a computer.

This study aims to discuss the teacher's strategy in the character building of environmental care for students in Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah Negeri (MIN: State Islamic Elementary School) 2 Lombok Tengah. This research is qualitative-descriptive research. Data collection uses observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data sources were obtained from the principal, teachers, staff, and students. Data analysis techniques using data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion verification. The findings of the study include: (1) the teachers have used a very good strategy in building character for students to environmental care. The intended teacher strategies include, such as setting class assignments (picket schedule), sticking/putting up posters about cleanliness/keep clean, adding to the means of garbage disposal. The strategies that have been implemented by the teacher can make students maintain a good school/classroom environment. (2) The concern of the teachers in shaping the character of students caring for the environment in MIN 2 Lombok Tengah is seen in the form of approaching and advising students, as well as being involved in mutual cooperation activities (gotong-royong). Abstrak: penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui startegi guru dalam pembentukan karakter peduli lingkungan bagi siswa di MIN 2 Lombok Tengah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sumber data diperoleh dari kepala sekolah, guru, staf, dan siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi pengamatan, peningkatan ketekunan dan triangulasi. Hasil temuan penelitian antara lain: (1) para guru telah menggunakan startegi yang sangat baik dalam membangun karakter bagi siswa untuk peduli lingkungan. Strategi guru yang dimaksud antara lain, seperti: penetapan jadwal piket kelas, menempelkan gambar tentang kebersihan, menambah sarana pembuangan sampah. Strategi-strategi yang telah diterapkan oleh guru dapat menjadikan siswa menjaga lingkungan sekolah/kelas dengan baik.  (2) Kepedulian para guru dalam pembentukan karakter siswa peduli lingkungan di MIN 2 Lombok Tengah terlihat dalam bentuk mendekati, dan menasehati siswa, serta terlibat dalam kegiatan gotong royong.

Implementation of the Village Teaching Movement in Increasing Literacy Rates and Average School Length in Bogor Regency, , West Java Province . The Bogor District Government formed the Village Teaching Movement with the aim of increasing the accessibility of education and providing education services on non-formal channels. This study aims to find out how the implementation of the Village Teaching Movement Program in Increasing Literacy Numbers and the Average School Length in Bogor Regency, supporting and inhibiting factors, and efforts made by the government in overcoming these obstacles. This research was conceptualized based on the implementation theory proposed by George Edwards III with qualitative descriptive research methods and inductive approaches. Data obtained by using data collection techniques through interviews, observation, documentation, and triangulation. Data analysis techniques are used through data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the study show  that the implementation of the Village Teaching Movement in Increasing Literacy and the Average School Length in Bogor Regency has been going well but has not been maximized. In the implementation of this program there were a number of obstacles including changes in policy, uneven socialization and low public participation. For this reason, the Bogor District Education Office seeks to improve the quality of education services and increase the establishment of junior high schools in a number of districts.
