<p>ABSTRACT <br />This study aims to determine concrete data about the etymology of suffixes foreigners in Indonesian on a<br />rubric Zoom Out in the newspaper tempo, to determine concrete data about the meaning resulting from the<br />process etymology suffixes foreign Indonesian language and to determine concrete data regarding the change<br />of speech resulting from the process etymology foreign suffixes in Indonesian.Methods used to determine the<br />etymology of suffixes foreigners in Indonesian on the rubric Zoom Out in Koran Tempo is by using<br />descriptive method with pedekatan qualitative emphasize on content analysis, qualitative approach which is<br />based on the level of morphology relating to the issue said that experienced the process affix particleform<br />Indonesian foreign suffix.After the authors analyzed the etymology of suffixes foreigners in Indonesian on the<br />rubric Zoom Out in Koran Tempo, the author can draw the conclusion that the use of words using the suffix<br />foreigners in Indonesian as many as 166 words, suffixes foreigners in Indonesian form a noun or adjective,<br />either which comes from the verb, noun or adjective. And the meaning resulting from the Indonesian foreign<br />suffixes can be either lexical or grammatical meaning. <br />Key words: etymology foreign suffixes, rubric Zoom Out, koran Tempo</p>

This research aimed to analyze the function and content of community limerick in Desa Kopong, Kecamatan Kewapante, Kabupaten Sikka. Spoken literature works are largely practiced in this community to transfer messages among people. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The obtained data were in the form of rhymes and verses obtained from engagement techniques and participant observation. The obtained data were analyzed through content analysis techniques and data validation with triangulation methods. Results showed that the community limerick in Desa Kopong functions as a means of recreation, aesthetics, didactic, morality, and religion. The content of the limericks includes reinforcement of the values ​​of grit, resilience, politeness, volunteerism, and religion. Finding from this research is significant for Bahasa Indonesia (BI) lesson in junior high schools (SMP), especially related to students’ competency in analyzing the forms and contents of community limerick.

This study addresses the translation of passive voice in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azakaban into Bahasa Indonesia. The study was based on descriptive qualitative approach. The data were collected by applying documentary techniques. There were three chapters taken as the source of the data. They were chapters 1, 8 and 15. The findings indicated that there were two types of passive voices as a product of passive voices’ translation in Bahasa Indonesia. The passive voice retained as passive one in TL was more dominantly translated into passive voice type one than type two in TL. It caused the use of prefix di+verb base, prefix di+verb base suffix i, and prefix di +verb base+ suffix+ kan are able to represent the meaning of the SL literally and culturally. The changing of English passive voice into Bahasa Indonesia active voice when they were translated indicated that the translator has attempted to find the closest natural equivalent of the source language in aspect of grammar, style, and cultural value. In essence naturalization rate of an expression is a matter of looking for matches in level lexical categories, grammatical categories, semantic, and cultural context.   Key words: translation, passive voice, English, Bahasa Indonesia.

Biau is a traditional Iban poem of invocational categories related to the ritual of performing rituals to summon Petara (the gods). The metaphorical language is used by Lemambang (ritual practitioner) to convey the message to Petara to be more attractive and polite. This study aims to analyze the elements that make up the metaphor in the biosphere structure. Based on the qualitative approach, the descriptive method was used to study the three biases taken from the book Sampi Enggau Biau. Content analysis is used to analyze the elements that make up the metaphor in a biased structure. The findings show that the elements that form the metaphor in the biosphere structure are based on living things, non-living things and nature that are adapted to the life of the Iban people. These elements are used to express traditional heritage, presence of entity or spirit, presentation of ritual (piring), types of chickens, strength of chickens, guest character present in plate presentation and natural beauty. life and nature in metaphorical metaphors add practitioner knowledge of the language skills of traditional poetry.

ABSTRACTThe research is aimed at describing the use of metaphors and finding out its implications in the song lyrics of Ebiet G. Ade from the album of Perjalanan to semantic learning of Indonesian language. The research uses analytical descriptive method with structuralism and propositional approaches. The technique of data collection is done by using note taking. The data of metaphor is analyzed using content analysis. The result shows that the album of Perjalanan from Ebiet G. Ade, consisting of nine songs, has 40 metaphors used to describe the thought and meaning about love among humans and their life covering happiness, sadness, and imagination. The use of metaphors is also to describe humans, life, feelings, suffering, sadness, and anxiety. Metaphors are also used for describing natural phenomena, societys life, social relations among humans and the description of the world. The description of humans and God relationship is also there, using complex metaphors. The analysis of metaphors use in the song lyrics of Ebiet in the album of Perjalanan can improve students vocabulary enrichment and its meaning. Hence there is an implication to semantic learning of Indonesian language. Keywords: Metaphors, Song lyrics, implication

This study aims to determine the sentence structure of Arabic and Indonesian terms in Surah Al-Baqarah, their similarities and differences, and their implications for translation. The research method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used were documentation and triangulation studies. From the results of this study, researchers found 190 the number of shar'iyah in surah Al-Baqarah with various sentence structures. Then, some similarities and differences in the structure between the sentence terms in Arabic and Indonesian, as well as the implications of this study, the researcher found a tendency to translate adawat syarṭ on the translation of the Ministry of Religion and Al-Mishbah.

The purpose of this research is to obtain an overall view of the translation of adverbs of manner from English to Bahasa Indonesia. This study used a qualitative approach using a content analysis method. The data used in this study are all sentences which are positive, negative, and interrogative sentences, including translation strategies and translation shifts (of the meaning). The data source in this study is Charlotte’s Web novel by E.B. White in English as the source text and the translation in Bahasa Indonesia (Laba-laba dan Jaring Kesayangannya) as the target text translated by Dina Begum.

This paper aims to describe the performance of zakat organizations for global empowerment (umma). The subjects of the study are three zakat organizations namely Dompet Dhuafa (DD), Lazis Nahdlatul Ulama (LAZISNU) and Lazis Muhammadiyah (LazisMU). Qualitative approach using content analysis is used to analyse the Data. The official websitesof those three zakat institution are used as primary sources. The results showed that the performance of Dompet Dhuafa is distinguished for its detail in the preparation of the vision, mission, goals, programs and organizational structures.Dompet Dhuafa develops the main program then makes it into specific program in details. There is relationship between vision, mission and objectives to reach both the local and global performance. LAZISMU is distinctive in optimizing the website. It can be foundthrough the use of four languages on the website: Bahasa Indonesia, Arabic, English, and France.LazisNU has outlined its program not only in the management of zakat, but also the empowerment.

AbstrakPeribahasa merupakan ungkapan tradisional yang menjadi bagian dari sastra lisan. Di Masyarakat Rejang, peribahasa tersebut dimunculkan secara lisan di acara adat seperti pernikahan dan dimunculkan dalam peraturan adat Rejang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peribahasa dari Msayarakat Rejang khususnya masyarakat Kabupaten Rejang Lebong. Peribahasa tersebut dideskripsikan dari aturan adat yang sudah direkam dalam bentuk tulis yaitu Kelpeak Ukum Adat (Hukum Adat Rejang). Penelitian ini juga untuk mengetahui fungsi dari peribahasa tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif yang bersumber dari hukum adat Rejang yaitu Kelpeak Ukum Adat Ngen Riyan Ca’o Kutei Jang yang memuat tentang tata cara bermasyarakat, hak dan kewajiban masyarakat, adat pernikahan, warisan, tarian, kepemimpinan, busana, bahasa, dan tulisan. Penelitian ini menitikberatkan pada analisis dokumen. Hasil yang didapatkan, bahwa 29 peribahasa yang ditemukan dalam hukum adat tersebut membahas tentang tatanan hidup masyarakat Rejang. Peribahasa tersebut berfungsi sebagai nasihat, larangan, teguran, pengajaran, gambaran tatanan sosial bermasyarakat. Kata Kunci: Peribahasa, Suku Rejang, Hukum Adat  AbstractProverbs are traditional expressions that are part of oral literature. In Rejang Community, the proverb was raised orally in traditional events such as weddings and raised in the Rejang customary law. This study aims to describe the proverbs of Msayarakat Rejang, especially the people of Rejang Lebong Regency. The proverb is described from customary rules that have been recorded in written form of Kelpeak Ukum Adat (Custom Rejang Law). This research is also to know the function of the proverb. This research used qualitative approach with descriptive method that comed from customary law of Rejang namely Kelpeak Ukum Adat Ngen Riyan Ca’o Kutei Jang which contains about social, community and rights, customs, and writing. This study focused on content analysis. The results obtained, that the 29 proverbs found in the customary law is about the life order of the Rejang community. These proverbs serve as advice, prohibitions, admonitions, teachings, images of the social fabric of society. Keywords: Proverb, Rejang Community, Customary Law

AbstractThe Ability to Pronounce Morphological Devices Mentally Retarded Children at TheSeventh Grade Students of SMP LB Banjarmasin. This study focuses on pronunciationof morphological devices, namely affixation, source reduplication in SMP LBBanjarmasin.This study used qualitative descriptive method. The data collected wasbased on the actual environment and in the situation as it was the ability to pronouncementally retarded children. Data collection started from observation, recording,interviewing, and library techniques. Sources of the data study were mild mentallyretarded children. Based on the result of the study, it can be concluded that topronounce affixtion of students of SMP LB Banjarmasin seen in using prefix me-, ber-,ter-, pe-, di-, sufix -an, -kan, and confix me-kan, ke-an. Mentally retarded children oftenadd phonemes when speaking, as in prefks men- became meng, prefix ber- becamebeng, and mentally retarded children often removed phonemes when speaking as prefixme(N)- became me-. The reduplication abilty found was reduplication in the form ofintact repetition, partial reduplication and basic affixed reduplication. The ability tocomposition mild mentally retarded chldren pronounces in using composition such asbahasa Indonesia, naik kelas, salat jumat, musim hujan, musim panas, and makansiang. But, there were some of mild mentally retarded children who did not usecomposition correctly such as pak gulu, lumah sakit, tanah ail, ail mata, kelas kepala,keleta api, melimpah luah, halta benda, jalan laya, olang tua, padang lumput, and halilibul. The ability to pronounce mild retarded children when they were affixed,duplicated, and composed by morphophonemic process including changes n phoneme/r/ became phoneme /l/ caused by mild retarded children experiencing obstacles whenreciting phoneme /r/.Key words: pronounce, morphological, tunagrahita2AbstrakKemampuan Pengucapan Piranti Morfologi Anak Tunagrahita Kelas VII SMP LBBanjarmasin. Penelitian ini memfokuskan kemampuan pengucapan piranti morfologi,yaitu afiksasi, reduplikasi komposisi pada siswa SMP LB Banjarmasin. Penelitian inimenggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Data yang dikumpulkan berdasarkan darilingkungan yang sebenarnya dan dalam situasi apa adanya, yaitu kemampuanpengucapan anak berketerbelakangan mental (tunagrahita). Pengambilan data dimulaidari teknik observasi, rekaman, wawancara, pencatatan dan teknik kepustakaan.Sumber data penelitian adalah anak tunagrahita ringan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitiandapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan pengucapan afikasasi siswa SMP LBBanjarmasin terlihat dalam menggunakan prefiks me-, ber-,ter-, pe-, di- sufiks -an, -kan, dan konfiks me-kan, ke-an. Anak tunagrahita sering melakukan penambahanfonem ketika berbicara, seperti pada prefiks men- menjadi meng, prefiks ber- menjadibeng, serta anak tunagrahita ringan sering melakukan penghilangan fonem ketikaberucap, seperti prefiks me(N)- menjadi me-. Kemampuan reduplikasi yang ditemukanadalah reduplikasi berupa pengulangan utuh, reduplikasi sebagian, dan reduplikasidasar berafiks. Kemampuan komposisi anak tunagrahita ringan tepat mengucapkandalam menggunakan komposisi, yaitu bahasa Indonesia, naik kelas, salat jumat, musimhujan, musim panas, dan makan siang. Namun, ada sebagian anak tunagrahita ringanyang tidak tepat menggunakan komposisi seperti pak gulu, lumah sakit, tanah ail, ailmata, kelas kepala, keleta api, melimpah luah, halta benda, jalan laya, olang tua,padang lumput, dan hali libul. Kemampuan pengucapan anak tunagrahita ringan ketikaberafiksasi, bereduplikasi, dan berkomposisi yang dilakukan dengan prosesmorfofonemik, meliputi perubahan fonem /r/ menjadi fonem /l/ yang disebabkan anaktunagrahita ringan mengalami hambatan ketika melafalkan fonem /r/.Kata-kata kunci: pengucapan, morfologi, tunagrahita

Objects become one of the discussions in both Indonesian and Arabic grammar which serves to form basic sentences in sentences that are transitive predicated, clarify the meaning of sentences, and form a unity or completeness of mind. Therefore, the author will examine the differences and similarities about objects or maf'ulbih in Arabic and Indonesian so that a learner will easily understand the structure of the sentence in texts with different themes. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach with content analysis method. The research data are in the form of Arabic object structures in the Al-Jazirah Online newspaper and the structure of Indonesian objects in the Tempo kora. The results of this study are the equations of the structure of objects in Arabic and Indonesian, the equations concerning the type of words used, namely both nouns both in Indonesian and Arabic. The differences in the structure of the objects of the two languages ​​can be seen from the order of placement of objects, in Arabic the object may overtake the subject and the predicate does not have to be after the predicate, but in Indonesian it is not like that.
