The article deals with theoretical aspects of monitoring cadets` learning abilities in 1960-1980 years. The author states that in this period the traditional system of control was characterized by the lack of objectivity. The reasons for the subjectivity of the assessment system in the publications of those years were not associated with the lack of standardized control means, but with the ambiguity of learning objectives and the requirements for the levels of knowledge acquisition. Scientists proposed various ways to improve control, based on the introduction of learning outcomes, typology of knowledge, special performance indicators, usually too subjective and contrived to be really useful in the learning process. Basically, these approaches were suitable only for testing the simplest levels of educational activities and did not affect the creative levels of its implementation. Depending on the type of training programs the special methods of checking and correction of learning outcomes were used in the programmed training. Since there were no effective methods of using pedagogical tests and skills in their development in programmed control, the simplest types of learning abilities were tested, the tasks were simplified and involved the choice of one or more ready-made answers, and hidden psychological components of learning, understanding the material, logic of cadets, communicative abilities remained outside the scope of tests.

Practical performance assessment is an important part of the learning process, but several obstacles are found in its implementation. The objectives of this study are (1) to develop constructivism-based performance assessment instruments for class VII Yunior High School in  Life Organization subject,  (2) to describe aspects that need to be made in constructivism-based practical performance assessment instruments, and (3) to describe teacher responses in using constructivism-based practical performance assessment instruments. This research is a development research using a 4D model, the stages are defining, design, development and distribution. The trial subjects in this study consisted of 10 students for small group trials and 40 students for large group trials. The indicators used in the study include aspects related to the development of constructivist life-based practicum assessment instruments. Instrument used was a questionnaire to reveal the response of teachers and students to practical performance assessment instruments. The results of the data analysis showed that the content feasibility value is 86.31% at the intervals of 48.33 which means it is feasible to use. Most students gave a positive response to the assessment sheet given (96.67%), a small portion gave a negative response (33.3%). The problem of work performance at the foundation has not been maximally measured, only a review of achievements based on an assessment that is considered not perspective because it is not based on accurate points from employees. Regarding solving complex problems based on employee assessments, foundation leaders need to be careful to collect more detailed, accurate, and complete data. Therefore, it is necessary to have a program that can analyze the work and achievements of employees at the foundation. So one of the ways to analyze the assessment is the Analytical Hierarchy Process.

A prototype of an automated decision support system for creative universities has been developed, which will allow assessing the achievements particularly talented students and identifying the needs in the learning process in order to help organize the educational process in accordance with identified capabilities. Use of a decision support system based on the Bayesian classifier is suggested which will allow to evaluate factors contributing to the progress in teaching students particular techniques, and in perspective to assess the possible resources that will be required to make changes to the learning. The list of specific performance indicators is given. The system should contribute to the formation of the learning plan, taking into account the capabilities of both a group art workshop as a whole, and special needs of an individual to develop, if necessary an individual approach.

Every success in the learning process will affect environmental factors, schools, attitudes, or students themselves. Each student enhances cognitive, affective, and psychomotor development. Student trading has the uniqueness and character of each in the learning process to respond to and understand teaching material or information obtained. Student learning independence can be seen from the achievements of students in responding, solving, and processing information by completing various tasks. Every student has a learning style that is prominent in him, and the teacher must be able to accommodate it. That is to achieve the learning objectives well and effectively. Learning style is the key to student success in learning. There are models (Type) of learning styles (Fleming, 2001), VARK (Visual, auditory, Reading, Kinesthetic) that can increase student activity in learning Indonesian. Students can learn through the senses that they have with a visual learning style that learns from what is seen, students with an auditory learning style that is learning through what is heard, and a kinesthetic learning style that is learning through motion and opening.
