We cannot predict the Actual tendency of an accident at what time that is occurs so it is always preferred to be cautious while designing a system that is related to utility of general public . brakes failure is one of the most commonly seen automobile failure where a person or a family tend to loose not just a man or a person but also their livelihood .The accident rate in India has been increasing day by day and human errors tend to occur as the nature of doing a thing by a human includes errors .mostly todays technologies has emerged to be completely automated but still when it comes to vehicles the brakes tend to be applied normally by a human. Particularly in relation to human life and health Some special safety systems have been designed into cars for the security of the passengers only, while others have been built for the safety of others. This is a brake disaster warning route that continuously tracks the dynamic state of the brake. If the brake fails, the switch activates, and the ignition turns off automatically.

The accident rate is high in subway maintenance work, and most of the accidents are caused by human factors, especially the lack of sensitivity to risk perception, the lack of rigorous attitude towards safety and the lack of safe citizenship behavior (SCB). Therefore, it is very important to study the risk perception (RP), safety attitude (SA) and SCB of metro maintenance staff in order to reduce the accident rate. In order to reduce human errors and accidents, this study analyzed the influence of metro maintenance staff’s RP on their SCB and the mediating role of SA. Based on previous studies, this paper uses the risk perception scale, safety attitude scale and safety citizenship behavior scale as research tools. A survey was administered at the Subway Company, and altogether 268 valid questionnaires were used, and the data were analyzed by SPSS19.0 (IBM, Armonk, NY, USA) and AMOS 24.0 (IBM, Armonk, New York, NY, USA). The result reveals that SA plays a complete mediating role between metro maintenance staff’s RP and their SCB; and SA has a positive influence on SCB; RP has a positive influence on SA; and SA positively predicts SCB.

The technological advancement in IT has brought about the need for computer usage in all areas of human life and endeavors, education sector also. The traditional method of conducting exams is often characterized by questions leakages, human errors when marking the scripts of students and recording of students’ scores. This work, Integrated System for Continuous Assessment and Exam Management was, therefore, born out of the will to solve the problems plaguing the conventional (paper-based) examination system by providing a campus-wide service for e-assessment devoid of dishonest conduct and equally enhances quick feedback. The developed system which uses a combination of HTML,PHP,MySQL reduces the proportion of workload on examination, grading and reviewing on the part of examiners. The system also enables the release of exam results in record time and without errors. Thus, this system can serve as a solution for mass education evaluation and offers many features that cannot be implemented in paper-based system.

Energy was the important sources to human life. Due to increases energy demand in daily life, the energy consumption was increase day by day because of the heat load from solar radiation and heat produced by people. Toward sustainable development, this research was carried out to develop a lightweight concrete (LWC) block with various cooling agent such as glycerine, propylene glycol, coconut shell and gypsum powder. Six lightweight concrete (LWC) block with the size 250mm (L) × 250mm (W) × 100mm (T) were tested for thermal conductivity value. From the experimental result, it shows that lightweight concrete (LCW) block with various cooling agent obtained thermal conductivity value of 0.17W/mK - 0.36W/mK lower than thermal conductivity value for normal lightweight concrete (0.8W/mK) depending on concrete density. The lightweight concrete (LCW) block with cooling agent having low thermal conductivity value will reduce energy consumption in building.

Electricity is the most suitable and appropriate form of energy for modern human life, such as today, where electrical energy has a function that can provide a need or service for electric power obtained by consumers, with electricity human life becomes very pleasant. Television, lighting, traffic lights, all using electricity. So, electricity can be said as a form of technological results that are very vital in human life. With this activity, it is expected that the general public can and understand about safe electrical installation and handling, mitigation of electrical hazards that are not in accordance with PLN's standardization. So that electricity does not necessarily become a scapegoat every time there is a fire in the community, and the voltage system used in Indonesia is: single phase 220 V, and phase three 220/380 V with a frequency of 50 Hz. This voltage system is very influential and dangerous for human safety.

The necessity of man–machine communication has been increasing day by day because of the great number of approaches that help to make human life agile or comfortable. Health is one of the aspects that has generated more interest in recent years. The optical technologies are new technical tools that are being implemented for medical diagnosis and for describing various processes occurring within human blood. These techniques have the virtue of being nondestructive; in addition they have the advantage of remote direction by using anin situtechnique, with sensitivity capable of studying the properties of the blood through electromagnetic excitation. A device to obtain the electromagnetic spectrum in the blood has being designed and is presented in this work. This device uses a quartz lamp, emitting electromagnetic radiation between 200 nm and 2200 nm. A model for measuring the light attenuation through the blood is used. By applying a control in the frequency domain, a circuit device is designed. This device uses a database in time domain for its subsequent analysis by Fast Fourier Transformation in order to obtain absorption spectra. The acquisition time is of the order of microseconds, and the system is controlled automatically through accessible software from a personal computer.

In the entire history of commercial nuclear power so far, only two major accidents leading to damage of reactor core have taken place. One is Three Mile Island (TMT) accident (1979), which is caused by a series of human error, and the other is Chernobyl accident (1986), which is due to the combined reason of design defects and human errors. After TMI and Chernobyl accidents, in order to reduce manpower in operation and maintenance and influence of human errors on reactor safety, consideration is given to utilization of passive safety systems. According to the IAEA definition, passive safety systems are based on natural forces, such as convection and gravity, and stored energy, making safety functions less dependent on active systems and operators’ action. Recently, the technology of passive safety has been adopted in many reactor designs, such as AP1000, developed by Westinghouse and EP1000 developed by European vendor, and so on. AP1000 as the first so-called Generation III+ has received the final design approval from US NRC in September 2004, and now being under construction in Sanmen, China. In this paper, the major passive safety systems of AP1000, including passive safety injection system, automatic depressurization system passive residual heat removal system and passive containment cooling system, are described and their responses to a break loss-of-coolant accident (LOCA) are given. Just due to these passive systems’ adoption, the nuclear plant can be able to require no operator action and offsite or onsite AC power sources for at least 72h when one accident occurs, and the core melt and large release frequencies are significantly below the requirement of operating plants and the NRC safety goals.

Continuous emissions of green house gases like carbon dioxide by industries and automobiles in atmosphere is increasing day by day and if not checked and regulated may bring disasters to human life. The existence and continuation of human life will be at risk. All technocrats, engineers and environmentalists have to work together for designing engineering systems and especially automobiles for combustion of fuels especially biodiesel which reduces emission of green house gases. Also there is a requirement of biodiesels to be renewable and obtained from biomass. The methyl ester produced from algae is used as a source of energy and is tested for its suitability in a variable compression ratio diesel engine (VCR). Blend B20 is added with 10% diethyl ether and tested for its combustion and emission characteristics with 200 micron zirconia coated piston. Improvement in performance is observed in comparison to the characteristics obtained with only coated piston and without additive.
