This study aims to identify the students' response in Ulumul Hadis online learning and its effect toward their achievement. The method used was descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were students at semester four of Islamic Education Department in STIT Al Marhalah Al 'Ulya. The data was obtained from google form questionnaires sent to students who joined Ulumul Hadis class and from interviewing to some students. Data analysis technique used are reduction, data display, and verification. The result is that students' response during having Ulumul Hadis online learning using Whatsapp media is categorized by "agree", meanwhile from interview shows "positive" responses and they declare agreement. The use of Whatsapp in Ulumul Hadis online learning gain the significant or positive effect toward students' achievement proved by the students average score i.e. 80 to 90 (A), both morning and evening class. Have a positive impact because student feel that the benefits of WhatsApp media make it easy for them, especially in uploading paper assignments and are not too burdensome in terms of internet quota packages

The covid-19 pandemic has shifted the learning system in Indonesia to distance learning, or better known as online learning. Various education units carry out online learning, this can bring about changes in learning activities. Whether it’s from students, teachers and the learning environment. From the existing phenomena, the researcher wants to conduct an analysis related to learning motivation and student learning outcomes during the covid-19 pandemic. This study aims (1) to find out how student motivation during the covid-19 pandemic and (2) to find out how student learning outcomes during the covid-19 pandemic. This research is qualitative descriptive study using a qualitative approach. The research subjects were students of X OTKP class, vocational high school 1 Ngawi while the value of student learning outcomes was taken in the General Administration subject. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. While the data analysis technique uses percentages. From the research conducted, it was found that the six indicators of learning motivation got an average of 84,28%, which means that student learning motivation falls into the high motivation category. While the average value of student learning outcomes got a percentage of 82,64%. Which means that student learning the category of good learning outcomes.

This research objective to determine the satisfaction, discipline, and motivation of employees of PDAM Tirta Bhagasasi Bekasi, and also to determine satisfaction and discipline of influence on work motivation the employee of PDAM Tirta Bhagasasi Bekasi. There are 90 employees of PDAM Tirta Bhagasasi Bekasi as a sample in this study. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling techniques. Observation and questionnaire methods are used in collecting the data. The data analysis technique uses multiple regression analysis with the SPSS program. The results of the descriptive analysis show the good realization of job satisfaction (average score 3.63) and employee work discipline (average score 3.61) so that it has a positive impact on employee work motivation (average score 3.57). These results are supported by Bekasi Tirta Bhagasasi PDAM data in 2018 which obtained a level of realization of workforce satisfaction of 61.38% (sufficient category), the value of realization of employee work discipline at 5.80% (sufficient category), and the level of realization of labor motivation of 60.71% (sufficient category). t value calculated job satisfaction (b1) = 9,133 with a significance of 0,000 (<= 0.05) then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that job satisfaction has a significant effect on the work motivation of PDAM Tirta Bhagasasi Bekasi employees. T value is calculated work discipline (b2) = 5.535 with a significance of 0,000 (<= 0.05) then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that work discipline has a significant effect on the work motivation of PDAM Tirta Bhagasasi Bekasi employees.

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengungkapkan bagaimana penggunaan media sosial untuk kegiatan katekese oleh para mahasiswa di Kota Malang, Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa sekolah tinggi agama di Malang, Jawa Timur sebanyak 61 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket tertutup dengan menggunakan Google Form. Teknik analisis data menggunakan scoring, F prosen dan uji binomial. Pengolahan data menggunakan rumus scoring, memperoleh score rata-rata 1,72. Artinya dalam menggunakan media sosial sebagai sarana katekese, mahasiswa menjalankan keterlibatannya dengan baik. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data menggunakan uji binomial diperoleh nilai z = 4,05. Jika dibandingkan dengan nilai tabel maka nilai tersebut lebih rendah dari taraf signifikan 0,05 artinya ada perbedaan antara keterlibatan mahasiswa yang satu dengan yang lain dalam menggunakan media sosial sebagai sarana katekese.AbstractThis research was conducted to reveal how the use of social media for catechesis activities by the students in Malang City, East Java. This research uses quantitative methods. Research subjects are students of religious high schools in Malang, East Java, as many as 61 people. Data collection using a closed questionnaire using Google Form. The data analysis technique used scoring, F percent and binomial test. Processing data using the scoring formula, obtaining an average score of 1.72. This means that in using social media as a means of catechesis, students carry out their involvement well. Based on the results of data processing using the binomial test, the value of z = 4.05 was obtained. When compared with the table value, this value is lower than the significant level of 0.05, meaning that there is a difference between the involvement of one student and another in using social media as a means of catechesis

Internet as media and information technology not only has a positive impact but also harms its users. Teenagers are the most vulnerable group that has an impact on internet use. The impact of using the internet depends on the digital literacy level of its users. This study examines digital literacy's effect on using the internet with Islamic content among urban Muslim teenagers. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The research subjects were 500 urban adolescents as the research sample. Measuring instruments used in this study are the Digital Literacy Scale for Teenagers to measure digital literacy and the Internet Behaviors Scale to measure internet usage behaviour. The result showed that digital literacy had a significant positive effect on internet usage behavior (B = 0.314; t = 13.602; p = 0.000). The higher level of digital literacy of adolescents automatically makes the higher behaviour in using the internet shows that digital literacy is important for using the internet with Islamic content among urban Muslim teenagers.

New online teaching strategies had posed many challenges for teachers. It was not easy to be applied, because teachers were still learning E-learning. They encountered some challenges during the implementation. Therefore, teachers used various strategies in online learning to achieve the learning objectives. This research aimed to investigate strategies that teachers used and challenges that they encountered  when they were teaching English during online learning. The research design used in this study was qualitative case studies. The research subjects were three English teachers who were teaching at public junior high schools in Tabanan District. The data were collected by using observations and interviews. The data analysis technique used was  descriptive qualitative. The results showed that: strategies used by teachers were online chat only and mixing online chat with video conferencing, they were: Google form, Google Meet, quizzes, and video.  Google meet  was found to be rarely used for online learning because most teachers only used online chat, they were: Google form, quizzes, and video . Teachers found some challenges, they were: internet connection, unresponsive students, and problems with the operation of the equipment at the beginning of the pandemic.

The study aims to analyze the effect of the fish diversity book in Kampar District on the learning motivation and obstacles of Kampar High School students through online learning during the COVID-19 period. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study with research subjects in class XI SMA Kampar (Kampar High School). In its implementation, students were given a motivational questionnaire in the beginning, after that they were given the task of studying the types of fish in Kampar through the book files of fish diversity in Kampar District through online learning. After online learning, the post-test was given using a questionnaire evaluation of the motivation and online learning obstacles questionnaire. Parameters: learning motivation with five indicators, ten indicators of online obstacles. Motivation data collection using pre-test and post-test. Data is presented and analyzed descriptively. The results obtained an average score of post-test student learning motivation (77.7) increased compared to before studying diversity book (65.9) with an N-gain index of 0.34, 74% of respondents said online learning was more effective, 50% of respondents stated the ordinary school is better than online learning. The implementation of fish species diversity books through online learning is effective in increasing student learning motivation, but it is less effective in motivating desires, appreciation, and not being attractive enough. The obstacles of online learning at Kampar High School include internet network facilities and field practicum during the COVID-19 period.

This research proposed to determine the factors of customer preferences in Islamic or Sharia banking. The research sampling which being use is the students of Economic studies mainly in 5th semester and 7th semester. The research designed in quantitative research by collecting data using questionnaires. Analysis technique using doubled linear regression. The result indicates that (1) Religion or beliefs have positive effect towards the rate of Economic Studies students preferences in Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta University towards Sharia Banking; (2) Costs factor has adverse effect but further insignificant towards the level of Economic Studies students preferences in Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta University towards Sharia Banking; (3) Benefits factor has positive effect yet negligible to the level of Economic Studies students preferences in Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta University towards Sharia Banking; (4) Facilities factor carry out positive impact towards the rate of Economic Studies students preferences in Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta University towards Sharia Banking; (5) Knowledge factor positively affected towards the rate of Economic Studies students preferences in Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta University towards Sharia Banking.

This study aims to show students’ TOEFL score, sixth and eight semester  of English Education Department at  STKIP Muhammadiyah Enrekang. The research used descriptive design by quantitative approach. The sample is 40 students of English Education department. The research instrument used TOEFL  like test. Descriptive statistics showed the data analysis technique, mean and percentage. . For this study , students got problems in acquiring a TOEFL score with an average score 365 which was still at the basic  proficiency  category  (elementary).  From the data analyzing, the researcher found that  the highest problem faced by the studentsis is listening section where students got correct answers only 27%. The students got the lowest score is in the short dialogue with the percentage 35%. Then the structure and written expression,   students   got   average   score   lowest   in   the   aspect   of structure (completion) with  a  percentage  34%.  From  all  parts  of  the TOEFL test, none of the students got average score more than 50%.

The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of online learning for the even semester 2020/2021 Language Studies course in the PGSD FIP UNIMED study program. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The population used in this study were all second semester students who took the Language Studies course at the PGSD FIP UNIMED Study Program. Samples were taken involving 187 respondents. The instrument used in the study was an online questionnaire with a google form. The data analysis technique was carried out by qualitative analysis with 4 stages of activities, including: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed: (1) the average score of the teaching and learning process is 4.11 (Good), (2) the average score of capability/competence of lecturers is 4.28 (Good), (3) the average score of supporting facilities and infrastructure is 3 ,93 (Good), and (4) the most dominant challenge is the need to improve IT skills and effectiveness in time management. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the effectiveness of teacher performance can be seen from the quality of teacher performance in implementing online learning involving information and communication technology media. This study aims to analyze more deeply the effectiveness of teacher performance during the covid-19 pandemic in the implementation of online learning. The type of research used is qualitative research. The research subjects were principals, 2 teachers, 2 students, and 2 guardians. The research instruments are observation sheets and interview guidelines. Data collection techniques are interviews and observation. The data analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that the effectiveness of teacher performance during the COVID-19 pandemic was classified as less effective. The quality of the work of teachers is classified as less effective because of the many obstacles in the implementation of learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The teacher's punctuality decreases. Teacher initiatives during the pandemic are relatively ineffective. Teachers' ability during the COVID-19 pandemic is classified as less effective due to limited infrastructure, internet quotas, and unstable networks that do not support online learning processes involving technology. Communication during the covid-19 pandemic is classified as less effective because of the many obstacles that cause learning not to take place so that there is no effective communication.
