Sometimes the community even assesses the quality of education of a school by looking at its infrastructure, schools that have large, classy buildings, equipment, and teaching and learning equipment that are complete and modern are often regarded as quality schools. Although it is not entirely true, it cannot be denied that the success of the Teaching and Learning Process (PBM) is more or less influenced by the condition of educational infrastructure available in the classroom. If the school has complete educational infrastructure, the teacher can carry out learning optimally and students can learn optimally. Relationship between expenses associated with the Preferential School Grant (SEP) Law and SIMCE results in subsidized primary schools in 2014 ABSTRACT Achieving a quality and equitable education, as stated in our legislation, is necessary for all students have access and are able to obtain expected levels of achievement in learning, which is more complex in schools with high levels of vulnerability. For this reason, the State of Chile provides extra resources by a Preferential School Grant (Law SEP 20,480), for the creation of Educational Improvement Plans (PME). The Agency for Quality Education carries out assessments to measure students’ performance through the SIMCE tests which, based on their results, year after year allow generating suggestions and improvements to teaching and learning processes, in function of the quality of education. The present research, which is part of a quantitative paradigm, was aimed to determining the relationship between resources provided by the Preferential School Grant and the average results of SIMCE evaluations of subsidized institutions in the year 2014. In this way, it was possible to take an initial step in searching for the efficient use of public resources, the improvement of learning results by students of our country. Keywords: SEP, SIMCE, resource management.

Sustainable education does not yet have a widely accepted definition in the literature. In this work, we start from the Sustainable Development Goal of Quality Education for All (SDG4) and interpret sustainable education as increasing the quality of learning whilst conserving the resources required to produce and deliver it. From this interpretation, we argue that one path towards realising sustainable education is through the identification of teaching practices that satisfy these conditions of increased quality whilst conserving resources. We present an overview of four case studies, where the conditions for sustainable education are demonstrated through the effective use of people, processes and technologies. Each case represents an intervention that was made to improve the quality of education within an intensive three-month project, which trained immigrants to be employable in the IT industry as junior software developers. Whilst the interventions are independent and unique, they are connected by the themes of quality improvement and resource conservation. In isolation, each specific case produced improvements for both teachers and students; however, it is by combining such approaches that we can start to realise the path towards sustainable education that will help lead to a better quality of education for all. The findings of this work suggest that quality education does not come at the cost of increased resource demands; rather, approaches exist that can be considered to satisfy the conditions for sustainable education.

The drive to improve basic education delivery in Nigeria has been given tremendous impetus in recent years. The goal of basic education can only be realised through provision of inclusive, equitable and quality education; several indicators have shown that authorities jettison quality to focus in increasing access. This paper, therefore, reviews the provision and delivery of basic education in Kano state. Specifically, the paper revealed how increasing enrolment in affects the efforts to improve the quality of education in the state. While the government initiatives made significant differences by increasing access to education of children who would have been denied schooling, quality indicators which include teachers-pupil ratio, students’ academic achievement, attrition and completion rates have stagnated at best or dropped. Efforts to ensure and maintain quality education in the state are reported to face serious challenges, including mainly inadequate funding that will ensure provision of essential teaching and learning facilities and insufficient trained and competent teachers. Finally, the paper recommends among others that, adequate funding and ensuring judicious management of the funds, competent teachers should be engaged and their welfare be adequately improved, as well as the supply and maintenances of teaching and learning facilities. Sincerity in the implementations of these and other recommendations would positively affect the over 3.5 million children in basic education, encouraging further enrolment and improving the quality of education they receive. Quality of education is essential to development in the world of education. A lack of attention to one of the factors of low quality education would result in such agencies being neither developed nor in learning processes nor in the technological world. Teachers are undertook and indirect teaching processes, which if the teacher's ability is inadequate and cannot develop the methods in the best possible, then the learning process will get more boring and will not advance forward because then the principal has authority in developing the quality of school education. The principal would have to be able to force new ideas, strategies and steps to develop teacher skills in the learning process, increased teacher performance and student learning interests and build good infrastructure management and ensure a periodic process of monitoring at the end of the term, late or start of the New Year's school of assessments by helping vice President, PKS and counseling coordinator.

This study aimed to explore the survival of school financing management during the COVID-19 pandemic, to assure the quality of teaching and learning continuously. This study used a qualitative design, and data collection is carried out by observing resource persons and in-depth interviews, analysis or analysis of documentation and a combination of the three as triangulation method. The collected data were analyzed using an interactive model. The results showed that financial management strategies in managing school finances effectively and efficiently, through transparency, accountability and responsibility, are considered to have contributed to the prospects, quality, progress and sustainability of education in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. This is based on the fact that many quality and good schools eventually experience setbacks due to the lack of transparency, accountability and responsibility in the management of education funds. Openness in schools can promote accountability and fight corruption in education, if it is implemented effectively and any malpractice is dealt with clear consequences. The implication is the strategies of education financing management in terms of transparency, accountability and accountability need to be carry out consistently to ensure the improvement of school quality runs in a sustainable manner.
