Many local products produced by SMEs in Jember circulating without halal labeling makes the authors compelled to do community service about literacy of halal certification products. Some MSME actors have made changes by managing the halal certification process for their products, so as to increase public confidence in making purchases, which has an impact on increasing product sales turnover. However, the number of business actors who carry out the certification is not comparable to the number of products produced by MSMEs circulating without halal certification. This paper describes the literacy assistance program carried out by the author in its function to provide understanding and knowledge related to halal certification in several MSMEs in Sumbersari District, Jember Regency. Our service program through literacy workshops carried out in two sessions, namely the first session providing theoretical exposure about the meaning of halal products and halal certification, then the next session providing stages of the process of obtaining halal product certification and examples of MSME actors who have implemented it. The results of this community service program have a positive impact on MSME actors, namely understanding the importance of obtaining halal certification and its effect on sales volume. In addition, MSME actors also understand how the stages of managing halal product certification are.

The Community service program conducted at Biology Lesson Group Dicussion Kubu Raya aimed to enhance teachers use local potency in their environment especially in their school for learning biology problem orientation. In lerning process at class, teachers always use media or textbook from publishers and less constructivism for their students. Therefore it was required to give a training for teachers to improve their skills and knowledge about use local potency for the learning process based on constructivism for learning biology problem orientation. This program had been followed by 21 teachers. The method used focus group discussion, lecturing, discussing, demonstrating, eksploration, and presenting the teacher’s task in lesson plan for biology learning process use local potency in their environment. This community service program gave the positive impact for the teachers because the results showed that they had new knowledge and skills to make a learning biology problem orientation based on constructivism use local potency.

The level of income in the City of Aceh Province, especially in Gampong Meurandeh is still relatively low. One reason is the use of free time for non-productive housewives. The purpose of this activity is to improve the ability of housewives to produce high economic value products by utilizing their free time by utilizing available natural resources, one of which is bamboo plants to be able to increase the family's economic income. The method used in the implementation of the activities carried out jointly with the mothers in Gampong meurandeh Langsa Lama Subdistrict, Langsa City is by (1) Socialization, implementation, survey and assistance programme. The current activity has been completed and has produced the superior bipesticide product of the community of Meurandeh Village. The conclusions that can be obtained from the implementation of the program are (a) The high level of participation from the community service program partners has a positive impact on the implementation of the program, seen from training and assistance in making products, (b) The program is able to produce alamai biopesticides made from bamboo leaf nanosilica so that it can improve the economy of the community and the product is environmentally friendly so that it can maintain environmental sustainability. Suggestion, (c) The high interest and enthusiasm of the community in participating in the Community Service program is expected to get special attention, so the program will continue. Keywords: Nanosilica, Bamboo Leaves, Meurandeh Village

Progam KKN PPM Desa Barakati Kecamatan Batudaa Kabupaten Gorontalo dilaksanakan dengan tujuan meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat melalui pengolahan limbah Kulit Pisang. Upaya yang dilakukan adalah melalui pengolahan Kulit Pisang menjadi Tepung yang berkualitas serta memiliki nilai jual yang berkompeten dipasaran. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam program ini adalah metode penyuluhan, pelatihan, teori dan praktek. Program ini bekerja sama dengan kelompok masyarakat UP. FMA Desa Barakati sebagai mitra dalam pusat pengolahan Kulit Pisang menjadi Tepung. Alur kegiatan meliputi tahap persiapan berupa observasi ke dinas instansi terkait dan pembekalan mahasiswa KKN-PPM. Kemudian tahap pelaksanaan, yaitu penyuluhan dan pelatihan pada masyarakat di 4 dusun yakni Dusun I Hungayo,  Dusun II Botuhuwayo, Dusun III Hutamela dan Dusun IV Bontula, yang berpusat di UP-FMA Desa Barakati. Adapun diantara hasil yang telah dicapai adalah 1) meingkatnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan kelompok masyarakat sasaran dalam pengolahan limbah kulit pisang, 2) meningkatnya pendapatan kelompok sasaran sebagai akibat dari penjualan hasil produksi, 3) Mengurangi tingkat pengangguran di tingkat desa. Oleh karena itu program ini telah memberikan dampak positif bagi kelompok masyarakat sebagai sasaran, pemerintah desa setempat, tim dosen pelaksana dan mahasiswa peserta KKN PPM Tahun 2019. Kata Kunci : Pemberdayaan, Pengolahan, Kulit Pisang. AbstractThe community service at Barakati Village, Batudaa Sub-district, Gorontalo District is conducted to improve the community’s income through the processing of banana peel waste. The effort made is through the processing of banana peel into a quality and high selling flour. The methods used are counseling, training, theory,and practice. This program cooperates with a community group of UP. FMA Barakati village as a partner in the center of banana peel processing into flour. The flow of activities includes a preparation phase in the form of observation to the related institutions and students’ Community Service Program briefing. The next phase is implementation which is counseling and training to the community at 4 orchards; Orchard I Hungayo, Orchard II Botuhuwayu, Orchard III Hutamela and Orchard IV Bontula which centered on UP-FMA Barakati Village. The achieved results, among others, are: 1) the increase of knowledge and skill of targeted community group in processing banana peel waste, 2) the increase of targeted community’s income as a result of product sales, 3) decrease the level of unemployment within the village. Therefore, this program has shown a positive impact on the targeted community group, the local village government, the team of implementing lecturers and students who are participants of the community service program 2019.  Keywords : Empowerment, Processing, Banana Peel.

Kangkong can be processed into various types of snacks, one of which is kangkong sticks. Sticks are a type of pastry that has a long flat shape, has a savory taste, and has a crunchy texture. Kangkong sticks are one form of innovation for processed kangkong products. Kangkong sticks were once produced in Dasan Tereng Village, but are no longer produced. Based on the results of interviews and observations conducted by the P1000WB Entrepreneurship Community Service Program (Creation of 1000 New Entrepreneurs), several problems have been found in the kangkong stick product. These problems include; unvaried taste, unattractive packaging, narrow marketing scope, and mass production system. KKN Kewirausahaan made various efforts to re-elevate, as well as develop kangkong stick products into superior products in Dasan Tereng Village. The efforts that have been made are: (1) Providing innovation in the form of flavor variants, (2) Improvement of product packaging using standing pouches, designing, and giving logos, (3) Doing digital marketing and changing the production system to a purchased order (PO) system. The method used is observation, short interview, and literature study. This gives tangible results in the form of product sales which are quite high, exceeding the sales target, from 40 packs to 110 packs in one week.

The implementation of this Community Service is an effort to develop the Family Welfare Development Group Business in Cileng Village, Poncol District, Magetan Regency to be able to increase product competitiveness through improved business management and business legality. The main problems of partners are: 1) the production of handicrafts in the form of plastic glass lip recycling bags still using the made by order system, 2) from the financial side there is no good record, the capital used still comes from the group cash, 3) limited marketing only in the surrounding community. In line with the problems faced by these partners, efforts that can be made are assistance in business development starting from marketing, business legality and bookkeeping. The methods used by the team are socialization, training and mentoring. The results of the Community Service Program are: 1) The Group Business has a Business Permit Number which means that with this legality it will make it easier for partners to get capital, increase public confidence in the products produced, 2) There is an increase in the knowledge and skills of partners in recording daily finances simply , making it easier for partners to evaluate production activities, evaluate income and expenditure, 3) Availability of product logos and fan pages, of course this will increase the selling value of partner products and expand the target market.

The City

Tourism has become the driving force for the economy in the community, various regions have applied the pattern, and managed to have a positive impact. This condition is the background of research on the success of the community service program from the Padang State University (UNP) team in Tanah Garam Village. The study was conducted in June to November 2019, the method used was a qualitative approach. Primary data were obtained from interviews with the Head of Tourism and Culture of the City of Solok, community leaders in Tanah Garam, Pokdarwis Payo, and community members in the Payo area (Tanah Garam). Interviews were conducted in accordance with guidelines related to the success of the UNP community service program in increasing the capacity of human resources (HR) and the ability to manage Payo agrotourism, thus providing economic impact for the community. The results showed that the service program succeeded in improving the economy of the community after the ability to manage tourism was increased.

The reforestation movement through planting 100 red shoots is the first step towards a tourist village that will have a positive impact on the village community. If this program is implemented properly and can be followed by the local community, the tourism village program will be achieved. Education of the reforestation movement in order to increase the income of the Sumokali village community towards a tourist village with the target of MSMEs, PKK groups and Youth Organizations. The team planned several programs related to this theme and implemented them by complying with strict health protocols because currently the Covid-19 pandemic is still in progress. This community service program is expected to achieve the objectives of the theme, which is to help increase community income through existing Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by providing socialization, training and implementation of the program. The program implementation method is carried out in several stages, including: 1) the preparation stage; 2) implementation stage; 3) evaluation stage. The results of the implementation of this community service program is implementing the planting of 100 red shoots. Furthermore, the success of the tourism village program can increse income dan help improve the quality of the environment in Sumokali village so as to create a healthy community as a supporter of the tourism village program and increase community income through MSMEs. Sidodadi village Pondok Kelapa Regency District of Central Bengkulu is one of the villages that have a great potential in the development of food processing industry. In the 1990s, the number of households cassava processing industry in this country reached 25 industry, but in 2000 the number of domestic industry's decline, until now there are only 5 households cassava processing industry. The objective of this community service program is to improve the skills, diversification of cassava chips products and improve the marketing system. Results showed that the diversification of activities and modification of cassava chips products at UD. Purwati and UD. Sugiono have a positive impact in terms of product quality, the level of consumer acceptance and production capacity. Packaging design improvements to increase consumer acceptance, so that the "Opak Imut" and "Opak Mini" which became a trademark of cassava chips partners production could reach a wider marketing network and can be consumed by children or family snacks and souvenirs.Keywords : Sidodadi Village, cassava chips, packaging, marketing

University of Riau with the fostered village program was conducted technology transfer activities on the cultivation of oyster mushrooms in the engagement. The purpose of engagement was to empower the community by cultivating oyster mushrooms and processing oyster mushrooms into products so that they could improve the welfare of Seko Lubuk Tigo village, Lirik District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, Riau Province. The methods used in this activity were: Workshop about The Cultivation of Oyster Mushrooms and Its Processed Products; Discussion of Various Problems and Solutions; Business Management and Product Marketing; Simulation and Evaluation. This Community Service is conducted from June to October 2019. The activity was carried out by involving community service program students of University of Riau as facilitators. The evaluation results of this activity indicated that the cultivation of oyster mushrooms and their preparations had a positive impact on the local community. The community was very responsive to this activity. The prospect of the oyster mushroom market still has considerable opportunities. The output of this activity was the community has been able to do oyster mushroom cultivation and processing. Aplikasi Pixellab merupakan aplikasi yang dapat digunakan dalam pembuatan logo yang berbasis android. Dengan pemanfaatan dan pengembangkan teknik dalam pembuatan logo Dalam hal ini, pemanfaatan media yang menarik dan tepat guna dalam proses pembuatan logo pelatihan akan memiliki dampak positif yang akan sangat berpotensi meningkatkan kemampuan mahasantri dalam membuat logo dengan aplikasi pixellab. Para mahasantri sangat membutuhkan pengetahuan dalam membuat logo dengan tujuan memberikan bekal dalam pembuatan logo walaupun mahasantri terdiri dari banyak prodi yang ada di Unilak. Oleh sebab itu, tim pengusul program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat menawarkan solusi berupa Pelatihan Pembuatan Logo Dengan Aplikasi Pixellab Untuk Pesantren Mahasiswa Universitas Lancang Kuning Pekanbaru. Di mana program ini diharapkan mampu menjadi wadah dan inspirasi bagi para mahasantri dapat menambah pengetahuan dalam membuat logo dengan aplikasi pixellab besar harapan mahasantri dapat mengikuti proses pelatihan pembuatan logo dengan aplikasi pixellab dan mahasantri lebih mampu menghasilkan karya yang dapat merangsang daya tarik dalam pembuatan logo dengan menarik dan unik. Sebagai pemateri memberikan sosialisasi dan sekaligus pendampingan mengenai bagaimana pembuatan logo dengan aplikasi pixellab yang menarik dan pastinya sagat dapat bermanfaat. Abstract: The Pixellab application is an application that can be used in making Android-based logos. By using and developing techniques in making logos. In this case, the use of attractive and appropriate media in the process of creating a training logo will have a positive impact which will greatly improve the ability of students to create logos with the Pixellab application. The students really need knowledge in making logos with the aim of providing provisions in making logos even though the students consist of many study programs at Unilak. Therefore, the team that proposed the Community Service program offered a solution in the form of Training on Logo Making with the Pixellab Application for Islamic Boarding School Students at the Lancang Kuning University Pekanbaru. Where this program is expected to be a forum and inspiration for students to increase knowledge in making logos with the Pixellab application, we hope that students can take part in the training process of making logos with the Pixellab application and students will be more able to produce works that can encourage attractiveness in making logos attractively. and unique. As a presenter, he provides socialization and at the same time assistance on how to make a logo with the Pixellab application which is interesting and certainly useful.
