Abstract: Generally, the productivity of scientific publication of civil servant teachers in Purbalingga District and especially in Kecamatan Rembang and Pengadegan is still low. Based on the results of previous research and expert opinion, the low productivity of teachers' scientific publications is caused by teacher motivation factors, teacher competence, teacher work load and social support. The purpose of this study to determine the magnitude of the influence of teacher motivation, teacher competence, teacher workload, and social support to the productivity of scientific publications of civil servant teachers in SMP Negeri 1 Rembang and SMP Negeri 3 Pengadegan Purbalingga District. This research method used quantitative research method of descriptive case study format. Research location in SMP Negeri 1 Rembang and SMP Negeri 3 Pengadegan Purbalingga District. The sampling technique used is saturated or census sampling where the research population is at once a sample. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect of teacher motivation factors, teacher competence, teacher workload and social support to the productivity of scientific publications of civil servant teachers in SMP Negeri 1 Rembang and SMP Negeri 3 Pengadegan Purbalingga District, either independently or simultaneously. The influence of teacher motivation is 48,6% with positive direction, teacher competence 33,9% with positive direction, teacher work load 28,4% with negative direction, and social support equal to 34,3% with positive direction. On the other hand, the influence of teacher motivation, teacher competence, teacher work load, and social support simultaneously to the productivity of scientific publication of civil servant teachers in SMP Negeri 1 Rembang and SMP Negeri 3 Pengadegan Purbalingga District is 53.1%. That is, as much as 46.9% productivity scientific publications teachers influenced by other factors outside this study.Keywords: Productivity of teachers' scientific publications, teacher motivation, teacher competence, teacher workload, social support. Abstrak: Secara umum, produktivitas publikasi ilmiah guru PNS di Kabupaten Purbalingga dan khususnya di Kecamatan Rembang dan Pengadegan masih rendah.  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdahulu dan pendapat para ahli, rendahnya produktivitas publikasi ilmiah guru PNS antara lain disebabkan oleh faktor motivasi guru, kompetensi guru, beban kerja guru dan dukungan sosial.  Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh motivasi guru, kompetensi guru, beban kerja guru, dan dukungan sosial terhadap produktivitas publikasi ilmiah guru PNS di SMP Negeri 1 Rembang dan SMP Negeri 3 Pengadegan Kabupaten Purbalingga.  Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif format deskriptif studi kasus. Lokasi penelitian di SMP Negeri 1 Rembang dan SMP Negeri 3 Pengadegan Kabupaten Purbalingga. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh atau sensus dimana populasi penelitian sekaligus menjadi sampel.  Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan faktor motivasi guru, kompetensi guru, beban kerja guru dan dukungan sosial terhadap produktivitas publikasi ilmiah guru PNS di SMP Negeri 1 Rembang dan SMP Negeri 3 Pengadegan Kabupaten Purbalingga, baik secara mandiri maupun secara simultan/bersama-sama. Besarnya pengaruh motivasi guru secara mandiri sebesar 48,6% dengan arah positif, kompetensi guru sebesar 33,9% dengan arah positif, beban kerja guru sebesar 28,4% dengan arah negatif, dan dukungan sosial sebesar 34,3% dengan arah positif. Di sisi lain, besarnya pengaruh motivasi guru, kompetensi guru, beban kerja guru, dan dukungan sosial secara bersama-sama/simultan terhadap produktivitas publikasi ilmiah guru PNS di SMP Negeri 1 Rembang dan SMP Negeri 3 Pengadegan Kabupaten Purbalingga adalah 53,1%. Artinya, sebesar 46,9%  produktivitas publikasi ilmiah guru dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian ini.Kata Kunci: Produktivitas publikasi ilmiah guru, motivasi guru, kompetensi guru, beban kerja guru, dukungan sosial.

This descriptive type of cross sectional study was carried out to observe the hospital educational environment of selected postgraduate medical institutes of Bangladesh. Study period was from July 2016 to June 2017.Sample size was 289 postgraduate clinical students of various course (MD, FCPS & Diploma) and 20 clinical teachers of 10 selected postgraduate medical institutes of Bangladesh. Convenience sampling technique was adopted. Data collection was done with self- administered semi-structured questionnaire using Postgraduate Hospital Educational Environment Measurement (PHEEM) inventory and by In-depth interview of teachers. Three subscales of PHEEM are students' perceptions about 'role autonomy', students' perceptions about quality of teaching and students' perceptions about social support. In-depth interview of the clinical teachers was undertaken to explore the training facilities in the selected postgraduate medical institutes of Bangladesh. Study result revealed total PHEEM score was110.08.Mean score of subscales of PHEEM were 34.51, 36.29 and 26.28 for 'role autonomy', quality of teaching and social support respectively. All these values indicates that the students' perception were in the right or positive direction. Analysis of individual items had shown mean score of most of the individual item were 2-3 that indicated the aspects of the climate that could be enhanced. There were few items that had mean score 2 or less than 2 that indicated the problematic areas of hospital educational environment. In-depth interview of the teachers revealed that there was also some problematic issues on postgraduate training facilities like work overload, lack of proper monitoring or supervision of training, inadequate library, internet, ICU and investigation facilities etc. Study recommended that significant attention should be paid in the problematic areas (lack of supervised training, heavy work load of student, lack of library facility etc.) as well as improvement needed on several areas of hospital educational environment of postgraduate medical institutes of Bangladesh.Bangladesh Journal of Medical Education Vol.9(1) 2018: 7-9

Scientific publications enable results and ideas to be transmitted throughout the scientific community. The number and type of journal publications also have become the primary criteria used in evaluating career advancement. Our analysis suggests that publication practices have changed considerably in the life sciences over the past thirty years. More experimental data is now required for publication, and the average time required for graduate students to publish their first paper has increased and is approaching the desirable duration of Ph.D. training. Since publication is generally a requirement for career progression, schemes to reduce the time of graduate student and postdoctoral training may be difficult to implement without also considering new mechanisms for accelerating communication of their work. The increasing time to publication also delays potential catalytic effects that ensue when many scientists have access to new information. The time has come for life scientists, funding agencies, and publishers to discuss how to communicate new findings in a way that best serves the interests of the public and the scientific community.

Esensi supervisi akademik tidak hanya menilai kinerja guru dalam mengelola proses pembelajaran, melainkan juga membantu guru mengembangkan kemampuan profesionalismenya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan  mutu pembelajaran melalui supervisi akademik. Penerapan supervisi akademik digunakan untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran siswa, minat belajar siswa, dan kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pelaksanaan pembelajaran sehingga sesuai dengan standar yang telah ditetapkan. Penelitian ini berbentuk Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah (School Action Research) dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif, dengan menggunakan teknik persentase untuk melihat peningkatan yang terjadi dari siklus ke siklus. Dengan dilaksanakannya supervise akademik, bimbingan berkelanjutan dapat meningkatkan motivasi guru dalam menyusun administrasi mengajar dan dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam menyiapkan perencanaan pembelajaran yang pada akhirnya meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran.The essence of academic supervision is not only assessing the performance of teachers in managing the learning process, but also helping teachers develop their professional skills. This study aims to describe the improvement of the quality of learning through academic supervision. The application of academic supervision is used to improve the quality of student learning, student interest in learning, and the ability of teachers to manage the implementation of learning so that it is in accordance with predetermined standards. This research is in the form of School Action Research using descriptive methods, using percentage techniques to see the increase that occurs from cycle to cycle. By implementing academic supervision, continuous guidance can increase teacher motivation in arranging teaching administration and can increase teacher competence in preparing lesson plans which in turn improve the quality of learning.

Abstraksi  : Publikasi  merupakan sarana untuk menyampaikan informasi  yang  diharapkan mampu memberikan  kontribusi positif  bagi pengembangan wawasan ilmiah bagi  seseorang. Dalam perguruan tinggi  publikasi ilmiah bisa berbentuk majalah, jurnal,  ataupun  koleksi  digital berupa e-journal dan e-book  yang saat ini sudah menjadi  kebutuhan yang tak terbantahkan untuk digunakan bagi pendukung proses belajar mengajar ataupun sebagai kegiatan proses kreatif segenap civitas akademika untuk memunculkan ide ide segar sebagai pendukung penelitian. Maka tidaklah mengherankan  apabila perpustakaan sebagai perpustakaa riset  dengan menyediakan publikasi ilmiah yang menyediakan beragam informasi . Dalam perkembangan selanjutnya muncul koleksi repository yang lebih mengkhususkan diri untuk mengelola dokumen yang dihasilkan oleh sebuah instansi dalam hal ini perguruan tinggi dengan sebutan literature kelabu (grey literature) yang dapat berupa dokumen yang khas dan , buku-buku yang jarang didapatkan di pasar buku dan juga dokumen yang sering disebut  local content. Publikasi local content  ini saat ini menjadi salah satu ukuran tolok ukur akreditasi perguruan tinggi  sehingga semakin mengokohkan publikasi ilmiah sebagai salah satu instrument penilaian akreditasi perguruan tinggi. ABSTRACT: Publication is a means to convey information that is expected to contribute positively to the development of scientific insight for a person. In college, scientific publications can be in the form of magazines, journals, or digital collections such as e-journals and e-books that are now an indispensable requirement to be used for teaching and learning process support or as creative activities of the entire academic community to generate ideas Fresh as research supporters. So it is not surprising if the library as a library of research by providing scientific publications that provide a variety of information. In subsequent developments appears more specialized repository collection to manage documents produced by an institution in this college with a literature gray literature that can be a typical document and, the books are rarely found in the book market and also Documents that are often called local content. This local content publication is now one of the benchmarks of college accreditation so that it becomes more and more solidifies the scientific publication as one of the accreditation assessment instruments of universities.

ABSTRAKTujuan – Menghasilkan kajian tentang kinerja publikasi ilmiah dosen melalui penciptaan iklim organisasi yang kondusif, dukungan organisasi dan berbagi pengetahuan.Desain / metode / pendekatan – Gabungan penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif, alat uji menggunakan uji rata-rata untuk hipotesis deskriptif dan SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) untuk hipotesis verifikatif. Sedangkan untuk penelitian kualitatif dengan FGD dan wawancara. Orisinalitas / nilai – berdasarkan beberapa kajian penelitian terdahulu, belum pernah ada penelitian tentang kinerja publikasi ilmiah dosen dikaitkan dengan iklim organisasi, dukungan organisasi dan berbagi pengetahuan. Sehingga penelitian ini dapat dijadikan literatur dalam upaya peningkatan kinerja publikasi ilmiah dosen di Indonesia, khususnya di Jawa Barat.  Temuan -  Peningkatkan Kinerja Publikasi Ilmiah Dosen di Indonesia khususnya di Jawa Barat dapat terwujud, apabila fakultas dan universitas dapat menciptakan iklim organisasi yang kondusif, meningkatkan dukungan organisasi dan terjadi proses berbagi pengetahuan diantara para dosen dan pimpinan.Kata kunci: Kinerja Publikasi Ilmiah Dosen, Iklim Organisasi, Dukungan Organisasi, Berbagi Pengetahuan.  ABSTRACTThe purpose - Generate study of scientific publications faculty performance through the creation of a conducive organizational climate, organizational support and knowledge sharing. Design / method / approach - The Association of qualitative and quantitative research, test equipment used to test the hypothesis average descriptive and SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) for hypothesis verification. So this research can be used as literature in improving the performance of scientific publications lecturers in Indonesia, especially in West Java. Two hundred married professional women with small children were surveyed to investigate what types of occupational and role-conflict stresses are associated with physical and depressive symptoms, and whether social support could protect individuals from the negative health effects of stress. Six stress indices predicted physical and depressive symptoms, both concurrently and 1 year later. These stresses reflected perceptions of lack of authority and influence on the job, sex discrimination, a heavy work load, work imposing on relaxation, family imposing on relaxation, and overall suffering from role conflict. Social support yielded no stress-buffering effects.

A sample of 1,586 intellectually talented adolescents (top 1%) were assessed on the math portion of the SAT by age 13 and tracked for more than 25 years. Patents and scientific publications were used as criteria for scientific and technological accomplishment. Participants were categorized according to whether their terminal degree was a bachelor's, master's, or doctorate degree, and within these degree groupings, the proportion of participants with at least one patent or scientific publication in adulthood increased as a function of this early SAT assessment. Information about individual differences in cognitive ability (even when measured in early adolescence) can predict differential creative potential in science and technology within populations that have advanced educational degrees.

MGMP is a community of teachers to always learn (long life learning). Rapid development of the times requires the teacher to participate in the pursuit of knowledge. Lifelong learning is the teacher's obligation to generate knowledge. This is necessary because the teacher is a facilitator of students to gain knowledge. In line with that, teachers are expected to master every change process so students can also face global challenges. These results indicate that the majority of teachers who come to MGMP IPA Bogor District civil servants Teachers. MGMP activities are a place that facilitates teachers' mutual learning together. MGMP members consist of various teachers from different schools. The results show the MGMP majority forum of senior teachers. Senior Teachers are expected to guide junior and mediator teachers to learn from one another. The results of the study concluded that continuing professional development needs to be developed, then content, then creativity, ICT and finally SK and KD to improve teacher competence. The activity steps are arranged to help activate and optimize activities, namely by self-development, scientific publications, and scientific work in the Bogor District MGMP.

<p><strong>Abstract:</strong> The purpose of this research are: (1) study the implementation of the PKB program for elementary school teachers (2) the effectiveness of the PKB program for elementary school teachers. The approach of this research is a qualitative research approach and the type of the research is case study. Data obtained from interviews, observations, and documentation. Based on the acquisition of data generated in the study, it is concluded: (1) The implementation of the PKB program in the form of self-development, scientific publications, and innovative works has been running, (2) The effectiveness of the implementation of the PKB program has not been carried out effectively and optimally, especially in scientific publication activities.</p><strong>Abstrak</strong><strong>:</strong><em> </em>Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dengan tujuan untuk (1) mengkaji tentang pelaksanaan program PKB guru sekolah dasar dan (2) efektivitas program PKB guru sekolah dasar. Penggunaan pendekatan pada penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian <em>case study</em> (studi kasus). Perolehan data didapat dari wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan perolehan data yang dihasilkan dalam penelitian, maka disimpulkan (1) pelaksanaan program PKB berupa pengembangan diri, publikasi ilmiah, dan karya inovatif sudah berjalan, (2) efektivitas pelaksanaan program PKB belum terlaksana secara efektif dan optimal khususnya pada kegiatan publikasi ilmiah.
