Learning mathematics during the Covid-19 pandemic required a lot of adjustments, in terms of materials, methods, media, strategies, and so on.  This paper describes the results of one best practice in learning mathematics by implementing e-peer tutoring method as a form of distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.  The aim of this writing is to describe the implementation of e-peer tutoring method in learning mathematics, especially in the material of Linear Equations and Inequalities of One Variable for grade VII Junior High School 1 Wonosari, Gunungkidul.  The stages of this method includes the preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Analysis of initial ability, tutor selection, group formation, and preparation of learning program were carried out in the preparation stage.  As for the activities at the implementation stage, the teacher uploads material and discussion sheets via Google Classroom, students discuss in their groups through Whatsapp group with the help of the tutor, students send assignments online, and the tutor reports on discussion activities.  At the evaluation stage, students take test and fill out the questionnaires.  The results at the evaluation stage indicate that this method can work well and has a positive impact on cognitive and affective aspects.  In terms of cognitive aspects, the average score and percentage of students’ mastery increased compared to the previous basic competencies.  In terms of affective aspect, this method has a positive impact on students’ motivation and self-confidence.

The purpose of this study was to produce an Open ended problem based Mathematics module on the Valid, Practical, and Effective set material that was used in class VII of Baiturrohmah Islamic Middle School in Malang. This research is a development research with the development of ADDIE, which includes Analysis, where the researcher analyzes the curriculum, needs, and characteristics of students. At the Design stage, the researcher designs the module outline. At the Development stage, researchers develop modules according to the initial revision. At the implementation stage, the module was tested in class VII of Baiturrohmah Islamic Islamic Junior High School Malang by distributing student response questionnaires. In the Evaluation stage, an analysis of the results of student response questionnaires was carried out. This study produced a mathematical module on the set of materials based on Open ended problems. The results showed that: (1) the material expert validator got a score with a mean of 3.08 and 3.47 in the Very Valid category; (2) the assessment of the expert practitioner validator gets an average score of 3.49 with a very valid category. As for the response of students to get an average score of 3.27 with the Strongly Agree category, and the learning outcomes of students' mastery level reached 85,71% with very good categories. Based on the data analysis described above, it can be concluded that the mathematics module on Open ended problem-based set of material is valid, practical, and effective to be used as teaching materials for Grade VII junior high school / MTs students.

The purpose of this research is to increase the interest and the result of learning mathematics class IX Junior High School Student Class IX Smp Taman Mature Ibu Pawiyatan through Learning Strategy Improving Thinking Ability (SPPKB).The results of this study indicate that after applied Learning Strategy Model of Improving Thinking Ability (SPPKB), interest and learning achievement of mathematics have increased. Student interest increased from cycle I of 64, 79% increased to 70,81% in cycle II. While the student's learning outcomes also experienced an increase. The average value of students from the initial ability of 50.33 with 5 students (16.67%) who meet the KKM increased to 55.90 with 9 students (30.00%) who meet the KKM on cycle I. While in cycle II the average score of students increased to 78.82 with 22 0rang students (73.33%) who meet the KKM in cycle II. Thus, it is suggested that teachers in learning mathematics is suggested to use Learning Strategy Model of Improvement of Thinking Ability (SPPKB) on other materials as an alternative to increase student's interest and learning achievement.

Abstrak Matematika adalah salah satu matapelajaran yang dipelajari oleh peserta didik sejak jenjang Sekolah Dasar sampai di tingkat Perguruan Tinggi oleh karena itu matematika menjadi salah satu pondasi keilmuan pada jenjang dasar. Dalam proses pembelajaran matematika banyak sekali kendala yang terjadi karena matematika adalah konsep yang mempunyai tingkat abstraksi yang cukup tinggi sehingga diperlukan suatu inovasi pembelajaran oleh para pendidik untuk mengurangi tingkat abstraksi dalam belajar matematika. Konsep matematika adalah konsep dari dinamika kehidupan yang disimbolkan dengan bahasa matematis dan diselesikan menggunakan logika matematika. Berdasarkan hal tersebut peneliti tertarik untuk menerapkan pembelajaran matematika realistic atau pembelajaran yang didasarkan pada kehidupan nyata. Inovasi pembelajaran ini tidak mudah dikarenakan dibutuhkan konsep yang mendalam oleh para pendidik. Berdasarkan hasil focus group discussion dengan para pendidik di lingkungan SD Negeri 4 Muryolobo banyak pendidik yang kesulitan dalam menerapkan inovasi tersebut sehingga peneliti menawarkan solusi untuk membuat forum lesson study untuk kegiatan pendampingan pengembangan desain pembelajaran matematika realistik yang kemudian untuk membuat simulasi digunakan wolframs mathematica. Dalam hasil penelitian ini membawa dampak positif karena dengan adanya kegiatan lesson study dapat meningkatkan motivasi Pendidik untuk melaksanakan desain pembelajaran matematika realistik di lingkungan Sekolah Dasar Negeri 4 Muryolobo Jepara. Kata kunci:Pembelajaran Matematika Realistik, Lesson Study, wolframs Mathematica. Abstract Math is one of supervised by studied by school tuition since junior high school ground until at higher levels of education hence maths both one of the foundation to achieving qualification at the the base of this scientific. In the process of learning mathematics a lot of the obstacles because math is concept have a level of abstraction that enough high that required a innovation learning by educators to reduce a level of abstraction in learning mathematics.The concept of math is the concept of the dynamics of life symbolized to the language mathematical and resolved use mathematical logic, based on it researchers interested to apply learning mathematics realistic or learning based on real life. Innovation learning this is not easy because needed concept depth by educator. Based on the results of focus group discussion with educators in the neighborhood of ElementarySchool4 of muryolobo many educator who difficulty in applying innovation so the researchers with solution to make the forum as well as the learned study to mentoring activity design development learning mathematics realistic after you make simulation used wolframs mathematica.In the result of this research give positive impact because with the activities as well as the learned study can increased the motivation educator to implement design learning mathematics realistic in the neighborhood Elementary Schools 4 of Muryolobo. <strong></strong><p>The purpose of learning mathematics is to obtain life skills through problem solving. Problem solving skills are one of mathematics skills that must be possessed by students. The result of the pre-cycle in this research showed that 83.33% of students had not achieved the minimum predicate “B-” in solving non-routine problems. It proved that students’ abilities in mathematics problem solving in non-routine problems were still low. During the pre-cycle, the researcher also observed some students who were not brave enough yet to ask questions of the teacher directly during the learning process. Besides that, almost all the students still had high individualistic and low awareness. Based on the problems that happened in the class, the researcher offered the peer tutoring method as a solution to improve students’ mathematical problem-solving skills in non-routine problems. The research method used in this research was Classroom Action Research using the Kemmis and McTaggart model. The instruments used in this research were tests, observation sheets, students’ questionnaires, and journal reflections. Based on the data analysis, students’ mathematical problem-solving skills in non-routine problems improved to 29.17% by implementing the peer tutoring<em> </em>method with the steps (1) choosing the tutors, (2) guiding the tutors, (3) students doing the tutoring activity, and (9) evaluating the learning process</p><p class="abstrak"><strong>BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRAK: </strong>Tujuan dari mempelajari matematika ialah untuk memperoleh kecakapan hidup salah satunya melalui pemecahan masalah. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah merupakan salah satu standar kemampuan matematika yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa. Hasil tes pra siklus pada penelitian ini menunjukkan sebanyak 83.33% siswa belum mampu mencapai predikat minimal ‘B-’ dalam menyelesaikan soal non-rutin. Ini membuktikan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa pada soal non-rutin masih kurang. Selama pra siklus berlangsung, peneliti juga mengamati beberapa siswa belum berani untuk bertanya langsung kepada guru selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Selain itu, sebagian besar siswa masih memiliki sikap individualis yang tinggi dan juga rasa kepedulian antar siswa masih rendah. Berdasarkan masalah yang terjadi di dalam kelas tersebut maka peneliti menawarkan metode <em>peer tutoring </em>sebagai solusi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa pada soal non-rutin. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah tes, lembar observasi, angket siswa dan jurnal refleksi. Berdasarkan analisis data, kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa pada soal non-rutin mengalami peningkatan hingga 29,17% menggunakan metode <em>peer tutoring </em>dengan langkah-langkah penerapan yaitu (1) memilih tutor, (2) membimbing tutor, (3) siswa melakukan kegiatan tutorial, dan (4) mengevaluasi pembelajaran</p><strong></strong>

This research was motivated by the students' learning obstacle in understanding the addition and subtraction of mixed fractions. So this research aims to develop a didactic design on the addition and subtraction of mixed fractions in grade 5 elementary schools based on student learning trajectories and can improve students' learning obstacles on addition and subtraction of mixed fractions. This research used the Didactical Design Research (DDR) method in one of the elementary schools in Bandung, with the subjects being 30 students in grade 5 and 29 students in grade 6. The data collection techniques used tests, interview, document analysis, focus group discussion (FGD), and observation. The results of this research indicated that the Didactic Design has a positive impact on student understanding and reduces the students' learning obstacles which are ontogenic, epistemological and didactical on the addition and subtraction of mixed fractions. Then, the average score of the students after the didactic design implementation was 75.3. This research is expected to be a reference for teachers in developing didactic designs for learning mathematics, especially fraction material in elementary schools using Didactical Design Research (DDR).

<p class="Els-keywords">This paper aims to determine the impact and learning outcomes of Mathematics Class IX students of SMP Negeri 6 Pekalongan in the 2020/2021 academic year on distance learning using Google Suite for Education (GSE). This paper is a best practice carried out in January-February in the even semester of the 2020/2021 school year. The object of this best practice is 32 students of class IXF at SMP Negeri 6 Pekalongan who were selected randomly (random sampling). The method used is descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, observation and documentation. The best practice results show that the use of Google Suite for Education (GSE) can have a positive impact on the mathematics learning process and improve mathematics learning outcomes for class IXF students of SMP Negeri 6 Pekalongan for the 2020/2021 school year. The positive impact is seen from students' activities being more closely monitored and students being active during the learning process and the results of student activity indicators exceeding the target of 70%. The results of learning mathematics are also good, it can be seen from the results of the daily assessment of 32 students, many students who do not complete only 2 people, classical completeness is 94% and the average value is 92. So the completeness value is very high and the average value is also very high.</p>

This research was motivated by the weakness of teachers in carrying out the learning process in Bandar Laksamana 1 Public Middle School. The purpose of this study is to improve the skills of teachers teaching in the classroom with the help of supervision. This research was conducted at Bandar Laksamana 1 Public Middle School. This research is a classroom action research consisting of two cycles with. Each cycle consists of four stages such as planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results of the study show that on the basic score, teacher teaching skills are included in the sufficient category with an average score of 60.21. After improvements were made in the first cycle, the results of the teacher's skills assessment increased to a good category with the teacher's average score of 75.54. For the implementation of the teacher's skills assessment in teaching in the second cycle again increased with a very good category with an average value of 85.75. Based on the results of the above research, researchers can conclude that with the implementation of supervision in Bandar Laksamana 1 Junior High School can improve teacher skills in teaching.

This reseach is aimed at knowing the students ability in both solving the math problem and connection those who are taught by Problem Based Learning at class VIII of the Junior High school 28 Padang 2017/2018. This research is categorized as quasy Experimental Research, by using Randomized Control Group Only Design. After implementing the Problem Based Leaning, the student was directly given the test as the result showed that the score  of the student who belong to the experimental class in  problem solving recorded as 74,00 while those who were in the control class only refers to 72,30. The test average score on the experimental class in term of math connection ability was 68,73; while in the control class recorded as 62,43. The T- Test showed that T-Table equals to 1,64 with the degree of reliability 95% . This fact reveals that the students’ ability in solving the problem after being taught through Problem Based Learning is higher than in control class with T-count equals to 3,71; while their connection math ability through Problem Based Learning Model in the Experimental Class is higher than control with T-count 2.17.Keywords: Problem Based Learning, problem solving, mathematics connection

<p>The general objective of this research is to discover and analyze empirically the <br />effect of attitudes toward mathematics learning outcomes, learning habits influence on mathematics learning outcomes, influence attitudes and study habits together towards mathematics learning outcomes. The population covered in this study were junior high school grade students in District VIII Kramat Jati, East Jakarta. The research sample was obtained through random sampling method, the researchers mixed quota subjects in the population so that all subjects are considered equal. The research design used by the correlation technique with three variables consisting of two independent variables, <br />namely student attitudes and study habits as well as a dependent variable, is mathematics learning outcomes. Data collected by questionnaire technique (variable attitudes and habits students learn) and test techniques (variable learning outcomes). Collected data are then analyzed using correlation and simple regression techniques and correlation and multiple regression. Before the data were analyzed, first performed descriptive statistical analysis and test data requirements (test of normality, linearity test). The results showed that: (1) there is significant influence between students' attitudes and habits towards learning mathematics learning outcomes, with a correlation coefficient of <br />0.465 and coefficient of determination of 0.216 or 21.6% of student attitude and study habits jointly affect the results of learning mathematics. The resulting regression equation Y = 7932 + 0, 377 X1 + 0, 257 X2. This could mean that the better the attitude of the students then the better the better the result of learning and study habits, the higher the results of studying mathematics. <br /><br /></p>

Introduction and Aims. Refractive errors such as miopia, hyperopia and astigmatism in teenagers are common in Asian country nowadays. Gadget usage also influence the prevalence and incidence of refractive errors specially for miopia and astigmatism. Outdoor activities have positive impact to prevent miopia. The aim of this study is to report the role of outdoor activities as unique school program that could prevent refractive errors in Junior High School in rural area of Bali Method. This is analytic descriptive study with cross sectional approach of 231 Pekutatan II Junior High School students taken in December 2016. This school located in rural area; 35,3 km from Jembarana and 60,5 km from Denpasar, the capital city of Bali. The area of the school is about 1500 m2, where 70% of the land are still vacant to natural habitat and this school had their own garden area that being organized by the students themselves after school hours. This school do not have computer extra curriculum as well. Result. From 231 students there were only 14 students that have refractive errors consist of 5 boys and 9 girls, mostly aged 15 years. Six students (2%) were diagnosed as myopia and 8 students (3.4%) were diagnosed as compound astigmatism myopia. The length of gadget usage in this school were 1.66 hours and outdoor activities time were 4.78 hours per day. The hereditary factors of refractive errors were noted in 12 students (5 %). Outdoor activities associated with refractive errors in this study (p = 0.03). While time using gadget does not have an association with the refractive errors (p = 0.38). Conclusion. Rural area where the outdoor activities are still common have protective effect to prevalence of refractive errors in teenager.
