This Class Action Research aims at : (1) improving quality of learning process on writing narrative text of interview result through the application of Discovery Learning with audio visual media and (2) improving the result of writing skills on narrative text of interview result through the application of discovery learning with audio visual media. This research conducted in two cycles each of which The data of this research are in the form of lesson plan, photos, results, students writing fieldnotes , list of values, and the results of the interview. The sources of the data include: the places and events, informants and documents. The technique of collecting data through observation/observation, review of documents, tests and interviews. Data validity has done through sources of data triangulation and method triangulation. Data analysis technique are using descriptive comparative and critic analysis. The result of the research showed that Discovery Learning models and audio visual media could improve students’ quality of learning process and writing skills on narrative text of interview from Cycle I to Cycle II. Those could be seen from (1) significant improvement of studens’ quality of learning process from cycle to cycle; (2) improvement of average of students’ score, from 54% in pre-cycle to 68% in Cycle I and 89% in Cylce II. The most effective steps of teaching-learning of writing skills on narrative text of interview result through the application of discovery learning with audio visual media were: (1) teacher grouped student in a small group; (2) teacher instructional video displays relating to the material; (3) students changed the text of the interview into a narrative text; (4) students transformed direct sentences into indirect sentences; (5) students create narrative framework; and (6) students individually writing narrative text of interview.

Learning outcome can be one of the reference to rate the success of a learning process. Product, as a result of learning, become an important aspect that can reflect success of learning. This research will proving the importance of metacognition to optimize the quality of learning outcomes.  Metacognition is facilitated using mind maps during the learning process. The data in this research were obtained the method of triangulation through the analysis of the results of questionnaires, interviews, and evaluating products as a learning outcome. These three data are then collaborated to show the conclusions about metacognition to optimize  the quality of  learning outcomes using mind map. This research proved that mind map are able to facilitate metacognition. Metacognition also give affects to learning outcomes, in this case is lesson plan or RPP. Not only proving mind map as a tool to facilitate metacognition, this research also proves if there is a relationship betwen metacognition and achievement of learning outcomes, especially for product as a learning outcome.

The selection and determination of appropriate learning strategies can improve the results to be obtained from the application of classroom learning models. This writing aims to discipline students to develop individual abilities of students to be more active in the learning process and improve the quality of learning. The learning process in Indonesia in general only uses conventional learning models that make students passive and undeveloped. In order for the quality of learning to increase, the Team Assisted Individualization learning model is combined with the task learning and forced strategies. The Team Assisted Individualization cooperative learning model is one of the cooperative learning models that combines learning individually and in groups. Meanwhile, task and forced learning strategies are strategies that focus on giving assignments that require students to complete them on time so that the learning process can run effectively. Students are required to do assignments according to the given deadline. This makes students become familiar with the tasks given by the teacher. Combining or modifying the learning model of the assisted individualization team with forced and forced learning strategies is expected to be able to make students more active, disciplined, independent, creative in learning and responsible for the tasks assigned. Therefore this method of incorporation is very necessary in the learning process and can be applied to improve the quality of learning in schools.

Textbook is one of learning components that plays an important role in determining the success of learning. Textbook as a media and one of main resources in the learning process has a strategic role to be developed to improve the quality of learning and cultivate religiosity of the students. The cultivation of religious characters will be effective, efficient, and interesting if the available textbooks are combined with the Islamic education and characters contents. Those contents will create religious atmosphere and familiarize the students in practising their religiosity in everyday life. In this way, the competency of Islamic education and characters are combined with the competency of other subjects that are packaged in a learning experience. Thus the Islamic values will be formed in students characters.

The importance of Learning Media is used by ATKP Medan to continuously improve the quality of learning. The problem that is often encountered in avionic learning is the limited resources available because to access avionic learning the cadets must access from the CBT LAB and cannot be from elsewhere. This is because Avionic software is only installed inside the lab and cannot be learned from outside the lab. The purpose of this research is to improve the digital avionic-Radio Theory II learning process which is packaged in multimedia animation to make it easier for cadets to learn avionic Radio Theory II without having to access it in the laboratory. The method used in this research is to use the MDLC Multimedia Development Life Cycle method, namely the Concept concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing, distribution, distribution, The resulting output is an animated video product and publication to the ISSN journal

Esensi supervisi akademik tidak hanya menilai kinerja guru dalam mengelola proses pembelajaran, melainkan juga membantu guru mengembangkan kemampuan profesionalismenya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan  mutu pembelajaran melalui supervisi akademik. Penerapan supervisi akademik digunakan untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran siswa, minat belajar siswa, dan kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pelaksanaan pembelajaran sehingga sesuai dengan standar yang telah ditetapkan. Penelitian ini berbentuk Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah (School Action Research) dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif, dengan menggunakan teknik persentase untuk melihat peningkatan yang terjadi dari siklus ke siklus. Dengan dilaksanakannya supervise akademik, bimbingan berkelanjutan dapat meningkatkan motivasi guru dalam menyusun administrasi mengajar dan dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam menyiapkan perencanaan pembelajaran yang pada akhirnya meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran.The essence of academic supervision is not only assessing the performance of teachers in managing the learning process, but also helping teachers develop their professional skills. This study aims to describe the improvement of the quality of learning through academic supervision. The application of academic supervision is used to improve the quality of student learning, student interest in learning, and the ability of teachers to manage the implementation of learning so that it is in accordance with predetermined standards. This research is in the form of School Action Research using descriptive methods, using percentage techniques to see the increase that occurs from cycle to cycle. By implementing academic supervision, continuous guidance can increase teacher motivation in arranging teaching administration and can increase teacher competence in preparing lesson plans which in turn improve the quality of learning.

This research aims to classify forms of application of authentic just my assesment on thematic-based learning, quality assessment of the learning process and find the constraints faced by teachers in Islamic Elementary School, application of authentic assessment in Watampone on thematic-based learning to improve the quality of the assessment of the learning process. The method of this research is a descriptive qualitative. The results of this study showed that teachers generally Islamic Elementary School in Watampone authentic assessment has implemented in the thematic-based learning in accordance with the existing procedures at the authentic assessment, namely the assessment of attitudes, judgement knowledge and psychomotor. Furthermore, the assessment of the learning process for teachers in Islamic Elementary School in Watampone already qualified having been in accordance with the standards of the assessment of the learning process. Various obstacles facing teachers Islamic Elementary School in Watampone in applying the assessment of teacher ability Islamic Elementary School in Watampone, limited time and complication as well as impractical. With the implementation of this authentic assessment thus reduces the subjectivity of teachers in learning so as to improve the quality of learning in teacher assessment

Education is a conscious and planned effort in realizing an atmosphere of learning and learning process so that students actively develop their potential to have religious spiritual strength, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character, and the skills needed by themselves, the people of the nation and the State. Based on these problems, the formulation of the research problem is: (1) How is the quality of learning in MAN 2 Lubuklinggau (2) How is the implementation of Madrasah Based Management in improving the quality of learning in MAN 2 Lubuklinggau (3) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors that influence the Implementation of Madrasah Based Management in improving the quality of learning at MAN 2 LubuklinggauThis research is a qualitative descriptive research. With the Head of Madrasa as the research subject. In collecting data, the authors use the method of observation, interviews and documentation. Data is collected from the information specified, the results relevant to the problem under study are analyzed quantitatively through the process of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions.The results of this study indicate that the quality of the learning process in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau can be said to be good. This is evident from the teachers who teach in accordance with their respective educational qualifications. With the Implementation of Madrasah-Based Management in improving the quality of learning at MAN 2 Lubuklinggau, it reveals the Management of Madrasas, the performance of Madrasah Heads / teachers, and the role of Community Participation. The implementation of the Madrasah-Based Management Program will be carried out well with the collaboration between Curriculum Management and Teaching Programs, Management of Education Personnel, Student Management, Financial Management and Financing, Management of Educational Facilities and Infrastructure, Management of School and Community Relations, and Management of Special Services.

Abstract This research is intended to see students’ creativity level on microteaching subject of Islamic Education Major Program Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teachers’ Training of IAIN Surakarta in 2015. This research was descriptive. The 6th semester students of Islamic Education Major Program were the participants of this research in micro teaching class. Interview and document were used as the instruments with the microteaching lecturer as the informant. Interactive analysis was applied for data analysis. The results show that the quality of students’ creativity in developing lesson plan as follows: (1)The lesson plan (RPP) developed before teaching improves learning quality (2)the interactive activities mentioned in the lesson plan (RPP) contain the learning strategies and facilities encouraging teaching and learning process (3)learning goals were achieved during the teaching and learning process. (4)the learning techniques is associated with the component of instructional system (5)teaching media was used to conduct conducive learning situation (6)some contents emphasized in the lesson plan (RPP) were suitable with the instructions existed in course book and curriculum (7)some specific activities done by the students in the learning process are their ways to master the materials they taught (8)The learning focus is emphasized on PAIKEM (Active, Innovative, Creative, Effective, and Fun Learning) and on evaluation to check the result, process, and comprehensible instruction. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kreatifitas siswa pada pembelajaran micro teaching pada jurusan Pendidikan Agama Islam, Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan IAIN Surakarta tahun 2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa mata kuliah micro teaching semester VI. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan dokumen yang mana dosen mata kuliah tersebut menjadi informan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kreatifitas para siswa pada matakuliah micro teaching sebagai berikut: 1)Pembuatan RPP dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. 2)kegiatan interaktif yang tertera dalam RPP berisi langkah-langkah strategi pembelajaran interaktif dan fasilitas yang mendukung proses belajar mengajar; 3)tujuan didapatkan dalam proses belajar mengajar. 4)teknik pembelajaran dilakukan dan disesuaikan dengan kandungan dari sistem instruksional. 5)penggunaan media ajar kondusif. 6)penekanan yang dipaparkan dalam RPP disesuaikan dnegan instruksi yang ada dalam buku dan kurikulum. 7)hal-hal spesifik yang dilakukan para mahasiswa dalam proses pembelajaran merupakan strategi untuk menguasai materi yang akan diajarkan. 8)fokus dalam pembelajaran ditekankan pada PAIKEM (Pembelajaran Aktif, Inovatif, Kreatif, Efektif, dan Menyenangkan) dan evaluasi untuk mengetahui hasil, proses, dan instruksi yang komprehensif. Abstrak—Educational supervision is defined as the process of providing professional assistance services to teachers to improve their ability to carry out the tasks of managing the learning process effectively, and efficiently. The purpose of supervision of education is to assess and, improve the factorsthat influence the learning process and improve the quality of learning so as to create graduates who are. good in quality and quantity. The purpose of supervising education is an effort to improve the quality of learning by providing services and assistance to improve the quality of teachingteachers in the classroom so as to help teachers develop professions, personal and help principals adjust educational programs in accordancewith community conditions the procurement of inappropriate supervisors, supervisor creativity is still low, as well as facilities that support uneven learning.
