The background of this research is that players often make mistakes when throwing a side throw at the Infield position. The formulation of the research problem is which is more effective using Three Finger Grips with Four Finger Grips to the accuracy of Sidehand Throw at the Infield position in Softball, Softball Team, Universitas PGRI Semarang 2020. The purpose of this study is to see the effectiveness of the throws using Three Finger Grips with Four Finger Grip on the accuracy of the Sidehand Throw at the Infield position in Softball, the Softball Team of the PGRI University Semarang 2020. In this research, to collecting the data is using a descriptive method. The technique of analysis is using a significant similarity test for two means (one party). In this study, the samples used 13 male students of the softball team Universitas PGRI Semarang 2020 with the saturated sampling technique. The mean of three fingers is 22, the standard deviation (Std.Deviation) is 3.78, the minimum and maximum of values are 18 and 30, the mean of four fingers is 26, the standard deviation (Std. Deviation) is 4.89, minimum and maximum of values are 20 and 34. The results of the calculation obtained the value of thitung (2,086) > ttabel (1,70) so that H0 is rejected, which can be concluded that the four-finger grip is more effective than three-finger grips on sidehand accuracy throw at the infield position in the softball team of Universitas PGRI Semarang 2020. The conclusion using a three-finger grip on the accuracy of the sidehand throw at the infield position in the softball team Universitas PGRI Semarang 2020 are categorized as effective. While the results of the throw using four-finger grips on the accuracy of sidehand throws at the infield position in the softball team Universitas PGRI Semarang 2020 are categorized as effective. The four-finger grip is more effective than the three-finger grip on the accuracy of sidehand throws at the infield position in the softball team Universitas PGRI Semarang 2020. It is hoped that athletes can use the four-finger grip because it is more effective for the accuracy of sidehand throws at the infield position in softball.   Keywords: Three Fingers, Four Fingers, Sidehand Throw Infield Softball. Latar belakang  dari penelitian ini adalah pemain sering melakukan kesalahan saat melakukan lemparan samping pada posisi infield. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini yaitu manakah yang lebih efektif menggunakan Three Finger Grip dengan Four Finger Grip terhadap akurasi Sidehand Throw pada posisi Infield dalam olahraga Softball tim Softball Universitas PGRI Semarang 2020. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui efektivitas hasil lemparan dengan menggunakan Three Finger Grip dengan Four Finger Grip terhadap akurasi Sidehand Throw pada posisi Infield dalam olahraga Softball tim Softball Universitas PGRI Semarang 2020. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskritif. Teknik analisis yang dipakai menggunakan uji signifikan kesamaan dua rata-rata(satu pihak). Pada penelitian ini sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 13 mahasiswa putra tim softball Universitas PGRI Semarang dengan teknik Sampling Jenuh.  Hasil rata-rata(mean) three fingers sebesar 22, Simpangan baku (Std.Deviation) sebesar 3,78, nilai minimum dan maksimum sebesar 18 dan 30, Hasil rata-rata(mean) four fingers sebesar 26, Simpangan baku (Std.Deviation) sebesar 4,89, nilai minimum dan maksimum sebesar 20 dan 34. Hasil perhitungan diperoleh nilai thitung (2,086) > ttabel (1,70) sehingga H0 ditolak yang dapat disimpulkan bahwa Four finger grip lebih efektif dibandingkan three finger grip terhadap akurasi sidehand throw pada posisi infield dalam olahraga softball tim softball Universitas PGRI Semarang 2020. Kesimpulannya adalah bahwa hasil lemparan menggunakan three finger grip terhadap akurasi sidehand throw pada posisi infield dalam olahraga softball tim softball Universitas PGRI Semarang 2020 berkategori efektif. Sedangkan hasil lemparan menggunakan four finger grip terhadap akurasi sidehand throw pada posisi infield dalam olahraga softball tim softball Universitas PGRI Semarang 2020 berkategori efektif. Hasil Perbandingan four finger grip lebih efektif daripada three finger grip terhadap akurasi sidehand throw pada posisi infield dalam olahraga softball tim softball Universitas PGRI Semarang 2020. Diharapkan bagi atlet dapat menggunakan  four finger grip karena lebih efektif terhadap akurasi sidehand throw pada posisi infield dalam cabang olahraga softball.   Kata kunci: Tiga jari, empat jari, lemparan samping infield softball

This research focused on using the scrambling method to teach grammar at the eleventh-grade students of Senior High School Number 2 Palopo. The research problem of this research was: “Does the scrambling method effectively improve students’ grammar mastery?”. The objective of this research was to find out whether or not the scrambling method effectively improves students’ grammar mastery. In this research, the researcher used pre-experimental design, and the treatments were conducted in six meetings. The population of this research was the eleventh-grade students of senior high school 2 Palopo. The researcher used a total sampling technique. There were 26 students from IPA 3 class involved in this research. The instrument used to collect data was a written test. It was divided into pretest and post-test. The data of this research were analyzed quantitatively by using SPSS program version 20. The result of this research showed that the scrambling method effectively improves students’ grammar mastery. The mean score in the pretest is lower than the mean score in the post-test (63, 85 < 82, 23). The researcher found that the p-Value is 0.00, and the alpha is 0.05, therefore p<α (0.00 < 0.05). Meanwhile, the mean score of the post-test is better than the mean score of pretest (82,23 > 63,85).

Background: Identification of the role of factors such as self-esteem and self-efficacy and the investigation of their relationship among students can bring about improvement of educational planning and enhance the teaching outcome. This study aimed at investigating the relationship between self-esteem and self-efficacy among the students of medical sciences.Methods: The present study is an analytical-descriptive which was conducted as a cross-sectional study on 394 students of Fasa University of Medical Sciences in 2016. In order to collect the data two questionnaires were used namely, Coopersmith Self-Esteem Inventory (CSEI) and Rogers Self-concept Questionnaire. The data were analyzed using SPSS 22. The researchers used descriptive and inferential statistics such as t-test, chi-square one-way ANOVA, and correlation to analyze the data.Results: The mean and the standard deviation of self-esteem scores of female and male students were 38.23±6.80 and 37.51±6.67 respectively. The mean and the standard deviation of self-concept scores of female and male students were 9.49±3.53 and 9.43±4.14 respectively. The mean of self-concept scores of students of different majors had statistically significant difference with each other (0.011), whereas there was no statistically significant difference in self-esteem scores among students with different majors (0.442).Conclusions: Considering the statistically significant difference in students’ self-concept scores in different majors, it is suggested that we take right approaches to the improvement and enhancement of individuals’ self-concept and the creation of positive feedback.

The purpose of this study to determine the ability to read news texts on students of class VIII 1 SMP Negeri 3 Kota Bengkulu. The method used in this research is descriptive method with quantitative approach. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Kota Bengkulu which amounted to 140 students from four classes with 75 male students and 76 female students. This research uses simple random sampling technique to take the chosen people correct by the researcher according to the specific characteristics of the sample, the researchers took 14% of the total population of 20 students. Technique of data collecting is done by observation technique and loud reading test. The data analysis used in this study is simple statistic. The results of this study indicate that, the average ability to read the news text of students of grade VIII 1 SMP Negeri 3 Kota Bengkulu is 55.2 (less).

Background: Puerperal sepsis is a postpartum complication, occurs when a recently delivered mother gets an infection while giving birth due to unhygienic practices and poor quality healthcare. If not treated properly in time may lead to death. Lack of awareness among healthcare providers can lead to higher rates of infection. Objective: To assess the effectiveness of information booklet on knowledge regarding puerperal sepsis and its prevention among nurses working in selected hospitals of Kamrup (M), Assam. Methods: The pre experimental one group pre-test post-test research designed was adopted in the study. 100 nurses were selected as sample by using convenience sampling technique in selected hospitals of Kamrup (M), Assam. To assess the nurses’ knowledge regarding puerperal sepsis and its prevention structured knowledge questionnaire was used. Results: In pre-test, the mean knowledge score was 11.76 with standard deviation 2.90. In post-test, the mean knowledge score was 19.81 with standard deviation 1.96. The calculated paired t test value of t = 33.352 was found to be statistically significant at p<0.001. Hence, information booklet on puerperal sepsis was found to be effective in improving the knowledge regarding puerperal sepsis and its prevention. There was significant association between pre-test knowledge regarding puerperal sepsis and its prevention and educational qualification. Conclusions: Majority of the nurses gained knowledge after referring the information booklet. Hence, awareness program in regular period will help in improving knowledge regarding puerperal sepsis among nurses to provide quality health care for a healthy society. Analysis of Accuracy The Tax Object Sales Value (NJOP) to Market Value with Assessment Sales Ratio Method. (Case Study In Malang City). This research is conducted to know the accuracy of determination of Tax Object Sales Value (NJOP) which determined by the government to current market value in society. This research was conducted in 5 (five) sub-districts in all areas of Malang City by taking samples of 80 land and building sales transactions in 2016-early 2017. This research uses a descriptive method with purposive sampling technique. The result is Assessment Sales Ratio in Kedungkandang District at 66%, Sukun District 68%, Klojen District 63%, Lowokwaru District 79%, and District Blimbing 70%. While for the entire area of Malang City of 69%. This shows that the Assessment Ratio in Malang City is still far from the standard set by IAAO that is 90% of its market value. The result of the mean divided by the median is 0.93 and the mean divided by the weighted mean of 1.13. This shows that there is no under assessment or over assessment, but it does not reflect the proportional assessment in Malang City area. COD (coefficient of dispersion) of 27.27% and COV (coefficient of variation) of 35.87% indicates that there is a need for reappraisal of NJOP which is set so as not to be too far from market value.

To achieve optimal nutritional status, a country needs guidelines for balanced nutrition. One of the visualizations of balanced nutrition messages is 'My Dinner Plate' which shows the serving of food and drinks at each meal. The purpose of this service program is to provide information and knowledge about the fulfillment of balanced nutrition and the contents of my plate to adolescents, especially students of SMPN 7 Kendari. The target of this program is students of SMPN 7 Kendari, especially those in Class VII. This program consists of counseling through power points and videos on general guidelines for balanced nutrition and the contents of my plate, discussions and questions and answers, and distributing pre-post questionnaires. The results of this activity were as many as 44 students as respondents consisting of 31.8% male students and 68.2% female students. The mean knowledge of the sample before the extension was 4.50 with a standard deviation of 1.535. Meanwhile, after counseling, the average sample knowledge increased to 7.64 with a standard deviation of 1.293. The results of statistical tests showed that the value of p = 0.000 where the value of p = <0.05, it can be concluded that there is an effect of counseling on the fulfillment of balanced nutrition and the contents of my plate. There needs to be further counseling and mentoring activities so that the knowledge gained can be applied in daily life.

Background of the study: Among antenatal women, back pain could be present in the form of pelvic gridle pain between the gluteal fold and the posterior iliac crest or as a lumbar pain over and around the lumbar spine. Nursing management aims to minimize the discomfort and the antenatal mother’s quality of life. Aim of the study: to assess the effectiveness of stretching exercises in reducing low back pain among antenatal mothers. Methodology: The research design for the study was Quasi - Experimental Research Design test sampling technique adopted in the study was purposive sampling technique. The total sample consists 60 antenatal mothers in 30 experimental groups and in 30 control group. The study was conducted in selected four villages Babarpur, Baroli, Dadlana and Ganjbad in District Panipat Haryana. Data collection tool was numerical rating pain scale and modified Oswestry low back pain questionnaire to assess the back pain. Stretching exercises was given for two weeks on every alternative day. Data analysis was done with the help by the mean of descriptive and inferential statistics. Results: The post-test pain and its standard deviation score among subjects in experimental group was 4.67 + 1.626 and in control group the post-test pain score and its standard deviation score was 8.60 + 2.415. The mean difference was -3.93. The independent „t‟ test value was -7.399 for the degree of freedom 58. This was statistically significant at the ‘P’ value < 0.05. Conclusion: The stretching exercise was effective in reducing the back pain. (Personal care, walking, sitting, standing, sleeping, social life, employment, lifting)

This study aims to determine the effect of the intensity of the use of social media on the learning achievement of class X students at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palangka Raya. This type of research is a quantitative study with a correlational method, the population includes all class X students of SMA Muhammmadiyah 1 Palangka Raya, totaling 145 students. The sample used was 60 students, the sampling technique in this research was probability sampling, namely simple random sampling where the sample consisted of several classes. the data collection method was done by using a questionnaire and documentation. From the trial of the intensity of the use of social media, 34 of the 40 instruments can be valid. Reliability test results with alpha cronbach intensity of use of social media obtained rxy 0.932> r table 0.330 and for student achievement obtained rxy 0.943> r table 0.330. The results of the study are: 1. The intensity of the use of social media by class X students at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palangka Raya is being shown by the mean (average) value of 92.82, the median value (middle value) 74.78, the mode value (the value that is appears frequently) 78.78, standard deviation 5.18. The low category was 18 students or 30%, the medium category was 16 students or 27%, and the high category was 26 students or 43%. 2. The learning achievement of class X students at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palangka Raya is being shown by the mean (average) 82.75, the median value (middle value) 82.90, the mode score (the valuethat often appears) 84.95, standard deviation of 2.51. It was included in the low category as many as 7 students or 12%, the medium category was 53 students or 88%, and the high category was 0 students or 0%. 3. There is an influence on the intensity of the use of social media on the learning achievement of class X students at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palangka Raya. With a correlation coefficient of 0.211, this shows the effect of the intensity of the use of social media on the learning achievement of class X students at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palangka Raya is low.

This study was aimed at determining the level of emotional intelligence and find out the dominant aspect of the emotional intelligence of final semester students of English Department at University of Sembilanbelas November, Kolaka. This study was a survey research. The respondents in this study were the final level students of English Department. The number of respondents in this study was 40 respondents. The instruments of this study were a questionnaire and interview guideline. The sampling technique was quota sampling technique. Based on the analysis of the result of the Mean and Standard Deviation, 37 respondents or 92.5% had a standard level of emotional intelligence and 3 respondents or 7.5% had a high level of emotional intelligence. From the result of the calculation of the data, the ideal Mean (Mi) and the ideal Standard Deviation (SDi) of each aspect of emotional intelligence, it was found that the dominant aspect in students’ emotional intelligence was self-awareness, then followed by the aspect of empathy, then followed by the aspect of motivation, and then the aspect of social skills, and the latter was aspect of self-setting. To add, the level of their emotional intelligence was categorized as very high with SD.

Researchers have shown their interest in taking up this issue to assess and compare several physical and physiological variables between snow skaters and rock climbers JAMMU and KASHMIR. The investigators limited their studies to physical and physiological variables: flexibility, BMI, tidal volume, and cardiovascular endurance. The study was conducted on 60 players, all subjects were from JAMMU and KASHMIR, and the sampling technique adopted for topic selection from both groups was carried out through the random sampling method. Data for comparing various physical and physiological variables is collected through standardized and scientifically approved testing devices. The standard deviation calculated from the snow-skaters' four variables and rock-climbing JAMMU and KASHMIR, namely the mean and standard deviation of the rock climber's tidal volume, is (455.74 ± 78.94), and the mean and standard deviation of the tidal volume of the snow rate. Skaters were (497.3 ± 82.07), with a mean difference of 42.56. The mean and standard deviation of rock climbers' BMI were (20.76 ± 1.04) and snowboarding (23.54 ± 1.89), respectively, with a mean difference of 2.77. The mean and standard deviation of rock climber flexibility is (24.65 ± 4.3) and snow skater sane is (21.74 ± 4.01) with a mean difference of 2.91, mean and standard deviation of vo2 Max snow skater is (58.24 ± 3.68) and the mean and standard deviation of vo2max calculated from the rock climber is (70.4 ± 4.03) with a mean difference of 11.8. Therefore rock climbers were excellent at all BMI, lung tidal volume, and endurance but lower in flexibility than snow skaters. The practical implications of this study show that rock climbing is better for overall health than snowboarding. Not much effort is required for snowboarding as it is necessary for rock climbing, which may cause better physical and physiological development of the rock climbing profile.
