Domestic violence is a phenomenon on which, for many years, there have been turbulent discussions in Poland – not only in the media and political forums, but also in the scientific community. The article presents analyses on the effectiveness of one of the key programmes addressed to perpetrators of domestic violence who are serving their sentences in prison. The Duluth programme, also known as the Duluth model, is essentially aimed at perpetrators of violence against female partners, however, it has seen many modifications and is widely used in the case of both custodial and non-custodial sentences. The results obtained indicate statistically significant differences in return to crime depending on whether the convicted person participated in the programme for perpetrators of violence or not. Among the convicts in the experimental group, i.e. those who had completed the program, the return-to-crime rate was 37%, whereas in the control group it was 55% – that is, it was significantly higher among those who had not completed the programme. As already mentioned, these differences were statistically significant.

This research was done in 10th grade science class: 2 and 4 in SMA 67 Jakarta. The research was done in October-November 2013. The research method is a quasi experimental with a noneqiuvalent control group design and the sampling technique is purposive. Instruments of the research are test (multiple choices) and non test(questionnaire). Data were analyzed quantitatively using the t test, questionare analyzed qualitatively. The conclution : there is the influence of augmented reality-based instructional media on learning outcome of students grade 10th on the concept particle dynamics. Average learning outcome experiment group is higher than control group. The experimental group superior on cognitive level (C1-C4). Carrying capacity of the media Augmented Reality on the learning process had teacher done is excellent category (83.24 %). DOI: 10.15408/tjems.v1i1.1111

Discovery learning is a way of teaching that gives students the knowledge to construct a concept discovered through an experiment. The implementation of the experiment will be more effectively done by utilizing the media realized in computer technology, one of which uses virtual laboratory. This study aims to improve students' mastery of concepts of physics discovery aided by the application of learning virtual lab. The results showed that the increase in student mastery of concepts taught Using discovery learning assisted higher laboratoium more than the students who are not being treated. Mastery of concepts in each sub-material has increased significantly, except in the concept of electrical measuring instrument control group is superior to 1% compared to the experimental group.

This study applies the model course review horay (CRH) with the help of  media board reward on the theme of learning 6 caring for animals and plants in SDN Jatirejo. The method used is an experimental method in Pre-Experimental Design in the form of Intact-Group Comparison. The subjects of the study were of grade II SDN Jatirejo in academic year 2019/2020. Data collection through observation of learning activities and written tests to measure student learning outcomes before and after being given treatment. The results of data analysis using the t-test formula to determine the effect of treatment in the experimental and control groups. The results of the study using the model course review horay helped by the media reward board were more fun and students were actively learning so that the teacher easily delivered teaching material with a very good category namely the experimental group (11,843 ) > the control group (11,655) which means that there is an influence on the use of the model course review horay with the help of  media board reward in the experimental group is greater than conventional learning applied to the control group. The results of this study as a source of information input and consideration for institutions involved in learning theme 6 grade II elementary school.

This research concerned on The Effect of Teaching Media on Students’ Achievement in Speaking. This study used the experimental design. The population of the study was the students of SMP Negeri 1 Air Putih. There were twenty students from five classes as the sample of the research. This study was conducted with two groups namely experimental and control group. The experimental group was taught by applying English comics while control group was taught with written texts. The instrument of collecting the data was used tape recorder. The data was analyzed by using t-test formula. The calculation shows that t-observed (2.378) is higher than t-table (2.086) at the level of significance 0.05. Therefore, the null hypothesis is rejected and alternative hypothesis is accepted. It means that teaching speaking by applying English comics as the media has more significant effects than without using English comics.   Keywords: English Comics, Story Retelling, Students’ Achievement in Speaking, Experimental Research

While women are more commonly victimized, men are also abused especially verbally and emotionally, though it can be physical at times. This Study was an experimental research. The objective was to discover thesignificance of using magic square game in improving 10th grader students’speaking achievement. Twenty students were taken as the sample: 10 students forthe experimental group and 10 students for the control group. The students in theexperimental group were given magic square game as the media to practice theirspeaking skill. The magic square game was used to improve students’achievement in speaking, while the control group were taught without the magicsquare game. They only use textbooks. The students’ performance were evaluatedby using Fulcher’s (2003) Foreign Service Institute (FSI) Weighting Table. Thescoring was done by the English teacher and the researcher. The research findingsshows that the reliability of the test was high, i.e. 0,99, whereas the T-observedvalue at the level of significance 0,05 is 20 and it was lower than the T-critic(22).Therefore, the alternative hypothesis was accepted. It can be concluded that thestudents’ speaking achievement taught by using magic square game wassignificantly higher than those whom taught without using magic square game. So,English teacher are suggested to use magic square game in practicing the students’speaking achievement.Key words: Magic-Square game, Speaking Achievement

Starting from the idea that selection is essential for performance in table tennis we want to develop a set of tests by which we can investigate the general and specific motor possibilities of children, enriching in this way quantitative and qualitative the existing control samples and control rules. The recorded data in the two groups have confirmed the hypothesis, there was obvious differences in comparison of the proposed samples. Statistically, there were obtained values "abnormal" and the index values of "t" shows insignificant differences in the media. The set of tests proposed and applied on the experimental group has proven the validity highlighting the same motor indicators as in the control group. The recorded results from control sample that was propose in the new test highlights some functional possibilities of the sportsman who are not highlighted by applying in other types of tests.
