This study aims to determine the effect of transactional leadership on employee work motivation at PT. Wijaya Sukses Sejahtera in Berau Regency. The variables used in this study consisted of independent variables, namely contingent reward (X1), exception management (X2), and exploitative management (X3) and the dependent variable was work motivation (Y). Simultaneous test (F test) with 95% confidence level of employees in the office of PT. Wijaya Sukses Sejahtera in Berau District proves that simultaneously Contingent Reward variables (X1), active exception management (X2), and passive exception management (X3) amounted to 11.541 so (11.541> 2.76) significantly influence work motivation (Y). The results of the t-test are known that the contingent reward indicator is the most influential indicator on the performance of employees at PT. Wijaya Sukses Prosperous Berau. Thus proving the hypothesis influential on work motivation simultaneously received (H0 is rejected and Ha accepted).

  Abstrak   Penelitian pengaruh kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja bertujuan untuk  untuk menguji pengaruh kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai baik secara parsial maupun simultan pada PT Cladtek Bi-Metal Manufacturing Batam. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode kuesioner dan analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda menggunakan uji F dan uji T. Pengambilan data dengan menggunakan sensus, sehingga data diambil dari seluruh populasi. Variabel independen terdiri dari kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja, dan variabel dependennya adalah kinerja pegawai. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menguji validitas dan reliabilitas instrument, selanjutnya data dianalisis dan diuji menggunakan Uji F dan Uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial variabel kepemimpinan berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, dan variabel motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.  Sedangkan secara simultan variabel kepemimpinan dan variabel motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Kata kunci : Kepemimpinan, Motivasi Kerja, Kinerja Pegawai   Abstract   Research influence of leadership and work motivation aims to to test the influence of leadership and work motivation on employee performance either partially or simultaneously at PT Cladtek Bi-Metal Manufacturing Batam. Research data collected by using questionnaire method and data analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis using F test and T test. Intake of data by using census, so that data is taken from entire population. Independent variables consist of leadership and work motivation, and the dependent variable is employee performance. This study was conducted by testing the validity and reliability of the instrument, then the data were analyzed and tested using F Test and T Test. The results showed that the leadership of the influential variables are partially negative and insignificant against the performance of employees, and work motivation variables positive and significant effect on performance of employees.  While simultaneously variable leadership and motivational variables work a positive and significant effect on performance of employees. This research was conducted to find out how Work Motivation and Work Competence Toward Performance of Medan City Culture Department Employees. This study uses three variables consisting of Performance variables namely Employees (Y), while the independent variables are Work Motivation (X1) and Work Competence (X2). This type of research is explanatory research through associative research, namely research that aims to explain the difference between two or more variables. The population in this study were all employees of the Medan City Culture Office received 38 civil servants. The method of data collection is done by literature study questionnaire, and observation. Data analysis conducted in this study was hypothesis testing with t test (partial test) and F test (simultaneous test). The results showed that: (1) based on partial tests of Motivation Influenced the performance of Medan City Culture Department employees with a t test of 3.721. (2) Based on a partial competency test on the performance of Medan City Culture Department employees with a t test of 4.073. (3) Based on the Simultaneous test the Effect of Work Motivation and Work Competence on the Performance of Medan City Culture Office Employees with an F test of 62.332.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership style, work motivation on employee performance at the Medan Marelan District Office. The population and sample used in this study were employees of the Medan Marelan sub-district office as many as 50 respondents. The type of data used are primary data and secondary data obtained through interviews, questionnaires and literature studies that are measured using a Likert scale. Hypothesis testing in this study uses a validity test analysis tool, data analysis conducted in this study is the hypothesis test with t test (partial test) and F test (simultaneous test). The results of this study were obtained that: (1) based on a partial test of leadership style Influenced the performance of Marelan district office staff with a t test of 2.562. (2) Based on a partial test of work motivation, the effect on the performance of Marelan district office staff with a t test of 3.796. (3) Based on the Simultaneous test the Effect of Work Motivation and Work Competence on the Performance of the Employees of Medan Marelan Sub-District Office with an F test of 425,327.

This motivation is closely related to needs, so that the management of the organization must pay more attention to the needs of employees so they can motivate well. Organizations can create a work environment that is good and in line with employee expectations, with guaranteed old age and a better future, a conductive work environment with better lighting in the room will make them feel comfortable at work. Motivation factors and work environment will be a factor that can make employees achieve satisfaction in working so that it can improve performance that is meaningful to the organization. The objectives to be achieved from this research are: 1) To determine the effect of motivation on the performance of Abang Village Office employees.2) To determine the effect of the work environment on employee performance at the Abang Village Office. 3) To find out the effect of Motivation and Work Environment together on the Office Staff Performance of Abang Village. In this study the independent variables are Motivation (X1) and Work Environment (X2). the dependent variable is Employee Performance (Y). Data sources used are primary and secondary data sources, with interview data collection methods, observation and questionnaires.The data in this study meet the normal probability plot requirements which means that there is no correlation between the independent variables greater than 95%. From the results of multiple regression obtained a = 5.323, b1 = 0.306 and b2 = 0.305. Thus the regression equation is: Y = 5.323+ 0.306X1 + 0.305X2. With the correlation coefficient table guide, it can be explained that there is a positive relationship between the effect of work motivation (X1) and Work Environment (X2) on Employee Performance (Y) that is a high or very strong relationship, because it is located between 0.800 to 1.199 ie r = 0.825. This means that the bigger the marketing strategy is given, the higher the sales. D = 68.1%, this shows that work motivation and work environment have a fairly strong influence, namely 68.1%, in an effort to improve employee performance. Obtained a f-test of 28,766 in the rejection area of Ho. Where the f-test is greater than the f- table. The Effect of Work Motivation Effect (X1) on Employee Performance (Y) obtained t-test = 5.228. Effect of Work Environment (X2) on Employee Performance (Y) obtained t-test = 6.581. From the two t-test analyzes above, it can be explained that Motivation and Work Environment have a strong influence on Employee Performance.

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of leadership style, teamwork, communication, and compensation to employee work motivation. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. Based on calculations using the Slovin formula, samples were 142 respondents. Data analysis techniques used multiple linear regression, F test, and t test. Based on the results of the study note that the leadership style, teamwork, communication, and compensation simultaneously affect work motivation as evidenced by the results of the F test which shows the significance value is smaller than 0,05 which is equal to 0,000. Leadership style, teamwork, communication, and compensation partially affect work motivation as evidenced by the results of the t test that shows the significance value of leadership style, teamwork, communication, and compensation smaller than 0,05, namely leadership style by 0,005, teamwork by 0,000, communication by 0,002, and compensation by 0,007. Teamwork has a dominant effect on work motivation as evidenced by the results of the t test which shows the significance value of teamwork is smaller than the value of the other independent variables which is equal to 0,000.

This study aims to determine the effect of Maisyah and Culture of Work toward the Work Motivation Employee of General Elections Commissionof Musi Rawas regency. This study involved 4 respondents, all of which were employees of General Elections Commissionof Musi Rawas regency. To collect the data, this study used a set of questionnaires and the respond given by the sample was analyzed by (1) average score, (2) multiple linearity regression, (3)determination coefficient, (4) partial t-test and F test techniques.Based on the result analysis, it was found out that (1) there is a positive correlation between independent variables with the dependent variables, (2) the magnitude of independent variables influence toward the dependent variable was 40.40% and (3) the partial t – test and F – test result showed higher coefficient values than those on the critical value of the t and F tables. Based on these findings, it was concluded that maisyah and culture of work, separately and simultaneously, influenced the work motivation employee of General Elections Commission of Musi Rawas regency.

This research is conducted in order to assess the effect of competency, motivation, and communication on employee’s performance (case studies at Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang West Bandung Regency) partially and simultaneously. There are many factors that affect the employee’s performance, but this research is only limited to the factors of competency, motivation, and communication. The researcher used primary and secondary data. The research approach used is quantitative approach which the samples are 55 civil servants which is assessed by 5 Heads of Fields and 2 Heads Sub-Division. Before analyzing, all research validity and reliability instruments are examined. After the data are valid and reliable then analyzed by using classical assumption test, partial test (t test), and simultaneous test (F test) helping by IBM SPSS version 23 software. The result of analysis showed that competency, motivation, and communication variables are affected positively significantly and partially to the employee’s performance. Competency, motivation, and communication variables simultaneously affected positively and significantly about 54,3% and the rest is about 45,7% affected by other variable that is not observed in this research.

ANALISIS VARIABEL YANG BERPENGARUH TERHADAP KINERJA PERUSAHAAN DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIAOleh : Suseno STIE SATRIA Purwokerto ABSTRACT The aims of the research are (1) to analyze influence of age, scale, financial leverage, and profitability to performance of firms at The Indonesian Stock Exchange. (2) to determine the most influential variable on the performance of the firms. Hypotheses proposed in this research were: (1) Age, Scales, Financial Leverage, Profitability influences the performance of firms, (2) Age influences the performance of firms, (3) Scales influences the performance of firms, (4) Financial Leverage influences the performance of firms, (5) Profitability influences the performance of firms. Instrument of analysis employed in the research was multiple linear regression with t test and F test.The results of analyses of t test showed that profitability did not influence the performance of the firms. It was indicated by the value of computed t which was smaller than the value of t table. Meanwhile, the t test of age, scale and financial leverage indicated that the value of computed t > t table. It means that these variables (scale and financial leverage) influenced the performance of the firms. The F test showed that the independent variables of age, scale, financial leverage and profitability as a whole significantly influenced the performance of the firms. It was indicated by the calculated F > the value of F table, the value the age computed t which was smaller than the value of -t table..Based on the research results that age and profitability do not influence the performance of the firms, it is suggested that investors should not pay any attention to those variables. On the other hand, they should pay attention to the variables of scale and financial leverage. It is recommended that for further research should include longer periode of the sample.

Balai Diklat Industri Regional – I Medan us one of technical executive unitaries in education and training sector is responsible for center for Industrial Education and Training of the Ministry of Industry. Since Regulation number 22 year 1999 for local autonomy is legalized and then has been changed to regulation number 32 year 2003, there are many changes in the structure of organization including reposition and substitution of functionaries and officials in industrial service institution. Due to the reposition, there are many officials still do not have enough technical substantive knowledge about industry sector as their aquip to do their dutter. In order to repair this condition, technical training needs to be done. It aims to synchronize perception between the older and the newer ones. The purpose of this research is to look for and analyze the effect of Technical Training and motivation of alumnae’s work in Balai Diklat Industri Regional I Medan. Hypothesis of the research is Technical Training and motivation affect alumnae’s work in Balai Diklat Industri Regional I Medan. Method use in taking the samples is by using Slovin Formulation in which from 179 populations about 124 samples are taken. Hypothesis is tested by using compound linear regressive analysis. It is held by doing simultaneous test (f test) and partial Test (t test). Both of tests have purpose to know the effect of independent variable to dependent variable on relieance level 95% or ? = 0,005. The result of analysis shows that Technical Training and motivation have simultaneous and significant effect to work motivation of alumnae in Balai Diklat Industri Regional I Medan. The significant level is 0.000. Determinant Coefficient (R2) of independent variable to dependent variable is about 59,3 % and the rest (40,7 %) is affected by another variable that is not used in this research. The result of t test (partial test) shows every independent variable used has significant effect to its dependent variable. Technical Training variable has real effect to the work with significant effect to the work 0.01 with significant level 0,000 smaller than 0,005 (5%).

This paper is analyzing the influence of marketing mix customer perception that feels and make scoring by post paid customer to ESIA cellular operator in Surabaya. Post paid customer as research object is active customer using their cell phone to become ESIA post paid customer in Surabaya. This research have to be done because understanding customer active is essential for keeping and protect them to switch another cell phone operator. This research purpose to watching carefully the perception about service of marketing mix that bargained by ESIA cellular operator to loyalty of using post paid customer cell phone. The variable in this research taking from Zeithaml and Bitner service marketing theory and Yazid adopt it (1999:21) and the composition7P’s are product, price, place, promotion, participant, physical evidence, and process. Analyze model adapted from Customer Behavior simple model by Assael (1984:11) with using multiple linear regression technique, F test and t test.  Base on analyze, can take a resume that marketing mix perception variable (cellular telecommunication service, price, facility ease, promotion, staff servicing, physical evidence, and administration process)  post paid ESIA customer feels influenced to using cell phone loyalty at ESIA cellular operator in Surabaya as significantly both of single test and simultaneous test. As a single test, this result can look at each of t test that always have score more than 1,6616. While as simultaneous test, can take a look of F test result is 51,611 that more than score of F table 2,127. From the result of analysis, knows that price of cellular telecommunication that charged to post paid customer have dominant influence to loyalty of cell phone used  post paid customer ESIA  in Surabaya. While, the variable of facility ease have very little influenced.
