The research is aimed to know the influence of parent’s education level on motivating the student’s match score year 2018/2019. The research is using the quantitative research by corelationmethode. The population in this study were all students of SD 064025 in Medan TuntunganSubdistrict as many as 734 people. The sample is 124 people with a sampling technique that is Simple Random Sampling.Data in research obtained is observations, questionnaire, and study documentation. The analytical technique used is a test of the prerequisite for analysis and hypothesis testing using the Program Statistics for Social Science (SPSS) assistance. From the data analysis data, it is found that there is a linear relationship between parent’s education level on motivating the student’s this is supported by the results of testingtcount>ttable and t test is done at the level (= 0,05) that tcount>ttablewas SD with SMP (2,2937 > 1,6675), SD with SMA (5,3917 > 1,6722), SD with D3 (2,2635 > 1,6779), SD with S1(2,0929 > 1,6810)this proves thatis accepted. Then there isinfluencebetweenparent’s education level on motivating learn the student’s in the fourth grade SD Negeri 064025 distric Medan Tuntungan.

This study aims to determine the effect of social media, tourism events, and service facilities on revisiting interest in Gumuk Pasir Parangkusumo Sandboarding. The research was conducted on visitors to the Parangkusumo Gumuk Pasir Sandboarding. This research is a quantitative research. The sample used in this study amounted to 100 respondents. This study used purposive sampling technique and data analysis with multiple linear regression. Hypothesis testing using the T test and F test with the help of the application program SPSS version 16.0. The results of the multiple linear regression indicate that social media has a positive and significant effect on revisiting interest. Tourism events have a positive and significant effect on revisiting interest. Service facilities have a positive and significant effect on revisiting interest. Based on the results of the F test, it shows that social media, tourism events, and service facilities simultaneously have a significant effect on revisiting interest.

The present study made an attempt to know the study involvement of adolescent students in relation to their noise sensitivity. The present study consists sample of 274 students selected through stratified random sampling technique. Coefficient of correlation and t-test was applied for data analysis and hypothesis testing. Results revealed that there is no relationship between adolescent students study involvement and noise sensitivity. Findings also show that adolescent students’ study involvement depends on their noise sensitivity.

The aim of this research is to know the extent to which the use of English song improves students’ vocabulary at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Halmahera Utara. This research was quantitative research by using pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest. The sample of this research was 20 students in class  X-3 Social science students by using convenience sampling technique. The instrument used in the research was the song lyrics. The students’ answer the question by determining noun, verb and adjective of  vocabulary consisting of 50 items. The data were analyzed by using t-test. It was found that teaching vocabulary by using English Song helped the students to master vocabulary. Based on the data analysis, teaching by using English Song could significantly improve students’ vocabulary.The research  shows the score of pre-test and posttest as follow:  pretest 58.9 score and posttest 75.1 score, and T-count value obtain 12.7 and t critic 1.729 at the significant level 0.05. It means t-count is higher that t-critic. The null hypothesis (H0) stating that teaching vocabulary through English song cannot improve students vocabulary is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Hi) stated that teaching vocabulary through English song can improve students’ vocabulary mastery at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Halmahera Utara is accepted.

Nomophobia is a modern phobia that occurs mostly in adolescents due to addiction to the use of a smartphone. The purpose of this study is to analyze the differences in the level of nomophobia among adolescents based on gender. This is a quantitative research with a comparative descriptive approach. Data were obtained from 400 adolescents selected using the convenience sampling technique. Furthermore, the instrument used was the Indonesian version of the Nomophobia Questionnaire (NMP-Q) consisting of 20 valid items with alfa Cronbach of 0,93 developed and adapted by Rangka et al. (2018). While hypothesis testing was carried out using the Independent Sample t-Test formula. The results showed a significant difference between nomophobia in boys and girls, with a t-value of -5.531 at a significance level (p) of 0.000. This means that in east Jakarta, the girls have higher nomophobia than men due to their significant inability to community effectively and efficiently while using their smartphones.

This study aims to empirically determine the description of organizational commitment to MTs Al-Islamiyah Karang Anyar teachers. The sampling technique was carried out by total sampling technique and got 43 samples. The research instrument used was the organizational commitment scale. This type of research is quantitative research with descriptive and comparative models. The data analysis technique used is the one sample t-test. Researchers hypothesized that married teachers would tend to have higher organizational commitment than unmarried teachers. The results showed that the organizational commitment of the teachers was generally high. In accordance with the proposed hypothesis, it is said that there is a difference in organizational commitment between teachers who are married and teachers who are not married. The t-test results obtained were p = 0.000 (p <0.05). This shows that there is a significant difference. The empirical mean of married teachers are 100.06 and unmarried teachers are 90.54.

The studi aims to determine whether promotions and prices have a significant effect on purchasing decisions at PT. Wahana Chemindo Jaya Medan. Where the consumers from PT. Wahana Chemindo Jaya Medan. The population in this study were all customers of PT. Wahana Chemindo Jaya Medan. The sample taken was 65 respondent using a non probability sampling technique. The data analysis method used is quantitative metdhod and data analysis method consisting of normality test, and heteroscedasticity test, multiple linaer regression terst, hypothesis testing consisting of t test and f test and coefficient od determination test (R2). Working on data analysis methods using the help os SPSS 25 For windows.This study concludes that the promotion and price variabel have a positive and significant impact on purchasing decions at PT. Wahana Chemindo Jaya Medan. This result can be seen based on the coefficient of determination test which produces an R square value of 0,787. This shows that promotions and prices are able to influence the purchasing decisions of customers of PT. Wahana Chemindo Jay Medan by 78,7%.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of gender and level education on the performance of nagari apparatus in nagari financial management in Tanah Datar Regency. Background of this study was that there were indications that the financial management of nagari was still not good in Tanah Datar Regency. This research used quantitative research method. The population of this research was all of the nagari apparatus in Tanah Datar regency numbered 600 people consisting of walinagari, nagari secretaries, nagari treasurer and five head of nagari affairs. The sample in this research consisted of 248 respondents who were determined using the Slovin formula and through the Multi Stage Random Sampling technique. The data were collected through questionnaires. Data of this research were analyzed with T-test and Anova Test. The results in this research indicated no that there was significant difference in the performance of nagari financial management based on gender and of education level in Tanah Datar Regency.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pengaruh tradisional talempong pacik untuk mengetahui sikap disiplin, toleransi, dan kerjasama siswa di SMA Negeri 9 Kota Padang Sumatera Barat. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh nilai-nilai yang terkadung dalam falsafah (1) alua jo patuik yang berarti disiplin, (2) bajalan paliharo kaki, paliharo lidah, kato sapatah dipikia an, nan elok dek awak ka tuju dek urang yang berarti toleransi, dan (3) ka mudiak sa antak galah, ka hilia sarangkuah dayuang, sasuai lahie jo bathin, sasuai muluik jo hati yang berarti kerjasama yang terkandung dalam kebudayaan Minangkabau yang selalu diwarisi secara turun-temurun salah satunya melalui kesenian tradisional talempong pacik. Pendekatan ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen pre-test pos-test. Sampel sejumlah 30 orang siswa dari 300 populasi siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 9 Kota Padang Sumatera Barat, ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Varibel bebasnya adalah permainan musik talempong pacik sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah disiplin, toleransi, dan kerjasama. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Validitas dan realibilitas instrumen  menggunakan korelasi product moment pearson dan Alpha Cronbach’s. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang positif dan signifikan antara pre-test dan pos-test.  Kesenian tradisional talempong pacik berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan sikap disiplin, toleransi dan kerjasama siswa SMA Negeri 9 Kota Padang Sumatera Barat.Kata kunci: kesenian tradisional, talempong pacik, pendidikan, disiplin, toleransi, dan kerjasama TRADITIONAL EFFECTIVENESS TALEMPONG PACIK TO INCREASED DISCPLINE, TOLERANCE, AND COOPERATION OF STUDENTSAbstractThis research is aimed at revealing the effect of the traditional art of talempong pacik on the character of discipline, tolerance, and cooperation of the students  of SMAN Padang, Sumatera Barat. This research was based on the philosophical values of 1. alua jo patuik which refers to discipline, 2.  bajalan paliharo kaki, paliharo lidah, kato sapatah dipikia an, nan elok dek awak ka tuju dek urang which refers to tolerance, and 3. ka mudiak sa antak galah, ka hilia sarangkuah dayuang, sasuai lahie jo bathin, sasuai muluik jo hati which refers to cooperation implied in Minangkabau culture and inherited from generation to generation, one of which is through the traditional art of talempong pacik. This research was quantitative research and used the pre-test pos-test experimental design. The sample were 30 students from 300 population of students from tenth graders in SMAN 9  Padang Sumatera Barat, established by using the purposive sampling technique. The independent variable is a music game talempong pacik while the dependent variable is a discipline, tolerance, and cooperation . The validity and the reliability of the instrument were calculated by using Person product moment and Alpha Cronbach’s. While the data analysis using descriptive analysis t test. The result showed that there were differences that positive and significant correlation between pretest and posttest. Talempong art pacik affect the increased discipline, tolerance, and cooperation of students SMA 9 cities desert country western Sumatra.Keywords: traditional art, talempong pacik, education, discpline, tolerance, and  cooperation

The cardinal object of the present study was to investigate the adjustment of the B.Sc and M.Sc students. The present study consisted sample of 400 students subjects (200 boys and 200 girls), selected through random sampling technique from Rajkot city of Gujarat state. Data was collected with the help of K. G. Desai adjustment inventory. For data analysis and hypothesis testing Mean, SD, and t-test was applied. Results revealed that there is a significant difference between boys and girls students with respect to their adjustment.

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of interactive media and characterized meme media on the student learning. This study applied experimental research method which used simple random sampling technique. The participants of the study consisted of two group as group A amount twenty-nine students and group B amount twenty-eight students. Each group had a different treatment, for the group a was treated by implementing interactive media, while group B was treated by implementing characterized memes media. Data analysis applied hypothesis testing of paired sample t-test and obtained that both of implementing of interactive media, and implementing characterized memes media, probability value .00 was less than alpha value, .05, which means the media provide impact to the student learning. Data analysis applied hypothesis testing of independent sample t-test and obtained p, .972 was greater than alpha value, .05. Thus, there was no difference between student learning achievement taught by using interactive media and characterized memes media. However, in accordance with effective criteria, it was presented that interactive learning media is more effective than characterized memes media. The percentage of classical completeness of students who were taught by using interactive learning media enhanced to 89.12 percent, while using characterize memes learning media reach 60.41 that not reached the classical completeness. In addition, in terms of appropriate student learning activity in the classroom using interactive media reached 90.12 percent, while in memes characterized media class character merely 66.65 percent.
