The Social Security Organizing Agency (BPJS) which was established in 2014, implements the National Health Insurance Program (JKN). While JKN positively affects national health and increases the financial flow of private hospitals, there is a significant financial deficit, which can be covered by the involvement of informal private-sector workers, whose loyalty to the hospital is mainly influenced by hospital’s environment, communication with staff, and service quality. Previous studies indicate that in Indonesia loyalty to the public hospitals can have no relationships with service quality, to test this assumption, a sample of 126 subjects was recruited at the Balowerti City Health Center, Kediri City. All participants of the study received premium assistance beneficiaries (PBI) of BPJS insurance, which is fully subsidized by the government. Despite this, the main part of the sample evaluated their perception of the Balowerti City Health Center and the quality of its service as average or poor. Ordinal regression confirmed the existence of the influence of service quality and perception of the hospital on the behavioral intention of patients. Refers to perception of low service quality is the main reason for insufficient involvement if JKN. According to the previous studies, a lack of time for communication with the patient, long time of waiting, and a lack of information of BPJS are main reasons of patient dissatisfaction and low enrollment in JKN.

Social insurance was initiated in France on a national scale in 1930 and now covers about 98.5 per cent of the population. The coverage expanded the limits of traditional sickness insurance for curative medicine and had a growing impact on overall health and social policy. French social insurance is a public service run by organizations which retain the voluntary status of the old mutual funds. The social security budget is independent of that of the government, which contributes less than 20 per cent of the overall social budget of the nation. The relationships between the medical profession, private and public hospitals, preventive care organizations, social insurance funds, and central and local governments have become very complex. The huge social security organization has acquired competence in planning and in technical organizational matters and consequently has had a great influence on medical care patterns. Social security adopted the direct payment system in its relationships with the medical profession; therefore the latter has retained its independent status. But, for public and private hospitals, the payment system is indirect. A special branch was created in 1945 to deal with capital investments in hospitals and health institutions concerned with preventive medicine. Social insurance contributed greatly to facilitating access of patients to all kinds of medical care, either public or private, curative or preventive, and helped the government by participating in the construction of a complex network of health institutions for the benefit of the whole population. This task is not yet achieved, and greater coordination and additional resources are necessary. But there is no doubt that social insurance was and still is a powerful factor in the continuing improvement of the nation's health and living conditions.

Abstract—Stunting is a health problem caused by a lack of nutritional intake for a long time, resulting in impaired growth in children. Stunting has become one of the government's priorities due to the large number of stunting incidents in Indonesia. The lack of knowledge of mothers about nutrition and good parenting is one of the causes of stunting. Intensive provision of information and health monitoring of pregnant women from time to time will reduce the incidence of stunting in toddlers. The purpose of this research is to develop an information system that can contain various information on pregnancy health and parenting to avoid stunting and can send it regularly to user according to their needs. This information system development adapts the Prototyping model of the Software Development Life Cycle method. The result of this study is an information system that will help disseminate various information on how to fulfill proper nutrition in pregnant and lactating mothers. In addition, the system will send messages via email and Short Message Service (SMS) which will serve as reminders for patients. This information system also functions as a toddler or pregnancy health monitoring tool based on the data entered into the system. This study result tackle one of the causes of stunting, namely the lack of information on maternal health and good parenting. Researchers hope that this solution can contribute to help the government to realize its vision of reducing stunting rates in Indonesia. Abstrak— Stunting merupakan masalah kesehatan yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya asupan gizi dalam waktu yang cukup lama sehingga mengakibatkan gangguan pertumbuhan pada anak. Stunting telah menjadi salah satu prioritas pemerintah karena banyaknya jumlah kejadian stunting di Indonesia. Minimnya pengetahuan ibu mengenai pemberian gizi dan pola asuh yang baik menjadi salah satu penyebab terjadinya stunting. Pemberian informasi secara intensif dan monitoring terhadap ibu hamil dari waktu ke waktu akan mengurangi terjadinya stunting pada balita. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan sebuah sistem informasi yang dapat memuat berbagai informasi kesehatan kehamilan dan pola asuh agar terhindar dari stunting dan dapat mengirimkannya secara berkala pada pengguna sesuai kebutuhannya. Pengembangan sistem informasi ini mengadaptasi metode pengembangan perangkat lunak model Prototyping. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa Sistem Informasi yang akan membantu untuk melakukan diseminasi berbagai informasi mengenai cara pemenuhan gizi yang baik dan benar pada ibu hamil dan menyusui. Selain itu, sistem akan mengirimkan pesan melalui surel dan Short Message Service (SMS) yang akan menjadi pengingat bagi pasien. Sistem Informasi ini juga berfungsi sebagai alat monitoring kesehatan balita atau kehamilan berdasarkan data yang dimasukkan ke dalam sistem. Solusi ini merupakan wujud penanggulangan salah satu penyebab stunting yaitu minimnya informasi kesehatan ibu mengenai pola pengasuhan yang baik. Peneliti berharap solusi ini dapat berkontribusi untuk mempermudah pemerintah dalam mewujudkan visinya untuk mengurangi tingkat stunting di Indonesia.

The answer may not seem obvious since there are key trade-offs involved. The retiree can choose low benefits for a longer period of time, or high benefits for a shorter period of time, or something in between.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>The optimal initiation date that maximizes social security wealth is a quantitative question and it depends on the life expectancy of the person and on the real rate of return they expect to earn on their investments, among other things. We attempt to provide some answers to this practical and important question.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>Our focus throughout is on relatively high-wealth individuals who will receive the maximum social security benefits.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>We show how the government&rsquo;s social security benefit calculator can be very misleading. We also include how the decision may be different for a married couple.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>We conclude with the following rough guideline.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>If you expect to make a good return on your investments, you should take the benefits early (i.e. at age 62).<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>If you expect to make modest investment returns and you expect to live a long time, you should take the benefits later, (i.e. at age 70).</span></span></p>

Is giving the subsidy in the implementation of national health care security in line with the purpose of arrangement of Law of Republic of Indonesia Number 40 of 2004 on System of National Social Security? Health care security is a basic right of all citizens of Indonesia as regulated in Article 28 H paragraph (3) and Article 34 Article (3) of the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. This writing makes an analysis of the arrangement of subsidy of implementation of national health care security. Argumentation in this writing gives an analysis in doing reformulation of an arrangement of giving subsidy in implementation of national health care security as regulated in Article 14 paragraph (2) of Law of Republic of Indonesia Number 40 of 2004 on System of National social security, the program of national health care security is a program in the form of security done by the government, but in the implementation, it is done by using social insurance method. Premiums of poor people and deprived citizens are guaranteed by the state, formal premium is paid by the worker and employer while the informal worker pays the premium independently, by this system it makes injustice in the society. All costs of National health care security should be covered by the state as the aim of implementation of the Law of System of National Health Care Security and the government should use the method of system of security and not social insurance system.

National health insurance (NHI) as a part of national social security system (NSIS) is a form of government commitment to the implementation of health insurance among people in Indonesia entirely. State-owned enterprises (SOEs) assigned specifically by the government to provide health care insurance was the BPJS for Health (social security provider for health). The aim of this study was to analyze the satisfaction of national health insurance among BPJS for Health participants in Semarang City based on education, tuition classes, and place of service. This study was analytical survey with cross sectional approach. Sample of Non PBI (Contribution Assistance Recipients) BPJS for Health were 269 respondents, with purposive proportional sampling technique. There was a significant difference regarding the satisfaction of health insurance based on education level (basic, secondary, and high) and place of service (public hospital and private hospital). There was no significant difference on satisfaction of health insurance based on tuition classes (class I, II, and III). BPJS for Health participants who did not satisfied with the national health insurance were 64.7%. The most important complaint was the process of obtaining an inpatient room.

BPJS Kesehatan shall be the Social Security Agency (Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial) established by the government to provide a Health Security for the people. It constitutes an institution specifically established to organize the social security program in Indonesia according to Law No. 40 of 2004 and Law No. 24 of 2011. Pursuant to Law No. 40 of 2004 concerning National Social Security System, BPJS shall constitute a non-profit legal entity. The BPJS Kesehatan Program began on 1 January 2014. The National Health Security Program (Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional / JKN) initiated by BPJS aims at providing health protection for each participant to obtain healthcare benefits. JKN constitutes a healthcare program to serve the people with medical necessities, Insha Allah, Amiin.

National health insurance is one of the government programs to facilitate health services for the people. The purpose of this research to determine whether there are effects of National Health Insurance program (JKN) on profitability and service quality at Juanda Kuningan Hospital, of West Java. The method using the paired-t-test to analyze the difference between before and after the National Health Insurance program. The result showed that there is a difference in profitability and service quality between pre and post the implementation of national health insurance program. Gross profit margin measured the profitability, net profit margin, return on total assets, and return on equity. This result means that the value of the company's profitability is better when the program JKN yet takes place in the Juanda hospital. While on the service quality variable it is found that the mean value is higher when the JKN program has conducted at the hospital.DOI: 10.15408/etk.v17i1.7064

AbstractThis study aims to determine the social security system adopted by Indonesia, see Indonesia as a function of the welfare state as mandated by the 1945 Constitution has not done well, and to know the view of progressive legal theory legislation related to social security in providing solutions to the problems of social security the workforce. This research is devoted to the study of normative legal systematics, which is intended to determine the implementation of a theory of the legal conditions that exist in society. Results of this study produces a secondary data. The data obtained from the document collection process or library materials. Of the collection process, the data were analyzed qualitatively, systematically arranged, and presented descriptively. The results showed that Indonesia is still not able to fully administer social security for the people, where social security is still a “black and white” but the State has not been able in practice to assume responsibility for the implementation of social security as a whole. About social security, the Government is still not able to provide significant changes to the equalization gain social security for the workers, but changes in social security regulations on labor is performed repeatedly. Necessary party whom dared to take a policy or decisions that benefit the workers to realize the welfare of the workers. Hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan suatu data sekunder. Data tersebut diperoleh dari proses pengumpulan dokumen atau bahan pustaka. Dari proses pengumpulan tersebut, data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara kualitatif disusun secara sistematis dan disajikan secara deskriptif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Indonesia masih belum mampu secara seutuhnya menyelenggarakan jaminan sosial bagi rakyat, dimana jaminan sosial tersebut masih sebatas “hitam diatas putih” namun, negara belum mampu dalam pelaksanaannya untuk mengemban tanggung jawab pelaksanaan jaminan sosial tersebut secara utuh. Tentang jaminan sosial tenaga kerja, pemerintah masih belum mampu memberikan perubahan yang signifikan terhadap pemerataan perolehan jaminan sosial tenaga kerja bagi para pekerja tersebut, padahal perubahan peraturan tentang jaminan sosial tenaga kerja tersebut berulang kali dilakukan. Diperlukan pihak yang berani untuk mengambil suatu kebijakan atau keputusan yang bermanfaat bagi pekerja demi terwujudnya kesejahteraan bagi pekerja. Pihak sebagaimana dimaksud jika hukum progresif yang digunakan sebagai alat pengupas, adalah pihak yang memiliki peran penting yaitu pengusaha dan Hakim Pengadilan Hubungan Industrial.Kata Kunci: Jaminan Sosial, Tenaga Kerja, Hukum Progresif.

AbstractThe creative industry as one of the pillars of the future economy has a very strategic role in overcoming the problems faced by the community along with the government, especially in the field of employment, business fields, and as a source of state revenue (GDP). Therefore, creative industry entrepreneurs must be protected by their intellectual rights so that all copyrighted works are legally protected by their existence and not arbitrarily anyone can steal, trade, multiply without the permission of the owner. However apparently only 17% of the 16.7 million creative industry players registered the results of their creativity. This shows that the protection of Intellectual Property Rights towards the creative industry is still very weak due to several factors, namely; Lack of public awareness / creative industry players to register their creativity businesses; Lack / lack of understanding of the community / industry players regarding the protection of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR); The presumption of some people / creative industry players for the management of registration of Intellectual Property Rights requires quite a large fee; The registration process takes a long time and is complicated. AbstrakIndustri kreatif sebagai salah satu pilar ekonomi masa depan memiliki peran yang sangat strategis dalam mengatasi masalah-masalah yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat bersama pemerintah, terutama di bidang ketenagakerjaan, bidang usaha, dan sebagai sumber penerimaan negara (PDB) . Oleh karena itu, pengusaha industri kreatif harus dilindungi oleh hak intelektual mereka sehingga semua karya cipta dilindungi secara hukum oleh keberadaan mereka dan tidak sewenang-wenang siapa pun dapat mencuri, berdagang, berkembang biak tanpa izin dari pemiliknya. Namun ternyata hanya 17% dari 16,7 juta pelaku industri kreatif yang mendaftarkan hasil kreativitas mereka. Ini menunjukkan bahwa perlindungan Hak Kekayaan Intelektual terhadap industri kreatif masih sangat lemah karena beberapa faktor, yaitu; Kurangnya kesadaran publik / pelaku industri kreatif untuk mendaftarkan bisnis kreativitas mereka; Kurangnya / kurangnya pemahaman tentang komunitas / pemain industri mengenai perlindungan Hak Kekayaan Intelektual (HKI); Anggapan sebagian orang / pelaku industri kreatif untuk pengelolaan pendaftaran Hak Kekayaan Intelektual membutuhkan biaya yang cukup besar; Proses pendaftaran memakan waktu lama dan rumit.
