Accessibility is a prerequisite for participation in social life. The possibilities of a person with disability and environmental barriers determine the level of accessibility in various areas of cultural life. The degree of infrastructure adaptations and less visible symbolic interactions have a significant impact on the possibility of social participation and access to cultural artifacts by people from groups at risk of social exclusion. Theater is an area of art, an inseparable element of which is a meeting, and thus openness to what is different, conditions for establishing dialogue and performative interaction. In the Polish theater of recent years, the context of disability is more and more often perceived as a subject of artistic creation. The article discusses institutional theaters constituting significant culture-forming centers in individual regions and taking part in international festivals. The formal infrastructural availability of theatrical spaces to the needs of people with disabilities and the adaptation of the cultural offer to perceptive capabilities of people with different disabilities were analyzed. Other activities related to the social phenomenon of disability were also indicated, if it was possible.

ABSTRACT This article aims to explain the existence of Tari Piring dance as a culture identity of Minang- kabau people, both the people who live in the origin area and outside the area. Tari Piring dance is a traditional cultural heritage of Minangkabau people which is used and preserved by Minangkabau people in their life so that it becomes culture identity of Minangkabau people. As the identity of Minangkabau people, Piring dance is able to express attitudes and behaviors as well as the charac- teristics of Minangkabau people. The dance can serve as a reflection of social and cultural life style of Minangkabau society. Through Tari Piring performance, the outsider can understand Minangkabau people and their culture. Tari Piring, therefore, is getting more adhere to the social life of Minang- kabau people in West Sumatra and in the regions overseas. In the spirit of togetherness, Minang- kabau society preserves the existence of Piring dance as the identity and cultural heritage up to the present time. Keywords: Piring Dance, Minangkabau culture  ABSTRAK Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan keberadaan Tari Piring sebagai identitas bu- daya masyarakat Minangkabau, baik yang berada di daerah asal maupun di daerah peran- tauan. Tari Piring merupakan warisan budaya tradisional masyarakat Minangkabau yang digunakan dan dilestarikan oleh masyarakat Minangkabau dalam kehidupannya sehingga menjadi identitas budaya Minangkabau. Sebagai jati diri masyarakat Minangkabau, Tari Piring mampu mengungkapkan sikap dan prilaku serta karakteristik orang Minangkabau. Tari Piring dapat berperan sebagai cerminan dari corak kehidupan sosial budaya masyara- kat Minangkabau. Melalui pertunjukan Tari Piring, masyarakat luar dapat memahami orang Minangkabau dan budayanya. Oleh karena itu, sampai saat ini Tari Piring semakin melekat dengan kehidupan sosial masyarakat Minangkabau di Sumatera Barat maupun di daerah perantauan. Dengan semangat kebersamaan, masyarakat Minangkabau mampu mempertahankan keberadaan Tari Piring sebagai identitas dan warisan budayanya hingga masa kini. Kata kunci : Tari Piring, budaya Minangkabau

Zusammenfassung: Die Prekarisierungstheorie ist ein soziologischer Erklärungsansatz zur Genese sozialer Exklusion in modernen Lohnarbeitsgesellschaften und beschreibt die soziale Ausgrenzung als dynamischen und graduellen Prozess. Entscheidend für die Einbindung des Individuums in die Gesellschaft ist die soziale Positionierung auf den Inte­grations­achsen der Erwerbs­arbeit und des sozialen Lebensumfeldes. Im vorliegenden Beitrag werden die Erklärungs­muster der Prekarisierungstheorie auf das Forschungsfeld der Teilhabe­forschung übertragen und auf die soziale Lage der Menschen mit Behinderung in Deutschland bezogen. Darüber hinaus werden Grenzen der Übertragbarkeit aufgezeigt und Bezugs­punkte für die empirische Teilhabeforschung hergestellt. Ziel des Beitrags ist es, die inhaltlichen Grundlagen für die Untersuchung der in verschiedenen Gesellschaftsbereichen oftmals eingeschränkten Teilhabe von Menschen mit Behinderung zu erweitern. Abstract: The social situation of persons with disabilities in the perspective of the theory on precariousness – new ideas for the participatory research in Germany The theory on precariousness is a sociological approach to describe the occurrence of social exclusion in modern industrialized societies. It captures the phenomenon of social exclusion as a dynamic and gradual process. Accordingly, integration into society depends above all on the individuals’ social positioning in the societal areas of employment and one’s social environment. In this article, the explanatory approach will be adapted to the field of participatory research and the social situation of persons with disabilities. Moreover, limitations of the transfer are outlined and reference points for the empirical investigation in the field of participatory research are established. This contribution aims to broaden the theoretical foundation for empirically oriented research of the often limited participation of persons with disabilities in society.

Based on the sources and literature available to the author, as well as on data obtained during field study, the paper describes the origins and functions of a tavern in Daugavpils region (now Kraslava region) in the rural Indra municipality in the 1930s. The chronology of the paper is determined by the founding of the establishment in 1929 and its operation until 1940 when Latvia was occupied by the USSR army. The paper is organized into three topical parts: first, the origins of the tavern are described, then the environment and its development over time, and finally the fulfillment of the tavern’s objectives in the economic and cultural life. The paper is based on the following: 1) documents of the Latvian State Historical Archives (hereinafter LSHA): The 1935 census materials of the State Statistics committee; Orders to the authorities issued by the head of the administration of Daugavpils County; Notices of the Indra rural municipality (until 1937 Piedruja rural municipality) to the head of the administration of Daugavpils Region; Lists of taxpayers (1929–1940); Population statistics (1941– 1943), 2) Audiotape-recorded narrations of the tavern building heir Anna Šiško obtained during Rezekne University College’s (2007), as well as factual material obtained during the interview (2008). Judging by Jānis Šiško’s family’s purposeful construction of the tavern and its role in Indra’s economic and social culture in the 30’s of the 20th century, it can be considered that its main function was customer service. The operation and the use of the tavern was adjusted to the particular needs of the social life according to the conditions during that period. The location of the tavern within reach of the railway station and the market square provided advantageous lodging and recreation facilities. These were used by the buyers of agricultural goods and corners, called „uzkupči”, arriving on a regular weekly basis from far away, mainly from Riga, by the producers of these goods from the wide neighbourhood, as well as by local farmers in the periods of supply and sale of sugar-beet, flax, and live stock. Therefore, the operation of the tavern contributed greatly to the economic activity of the municipality. Organized recreation – dances and open-air parties in the tavern yard on the playground and in the specially arranged spacious premises of a shed with the border guards brass band, and regular theatre performances and celebrations at the occasion of public holidays – introduced the tavern to the social life of Indra and made it a popular entertainment place in the finest sense of the word and thereby contributed to the enrichment of the county’s cultural life.

Two materially oriented revolutions have transformed the study of ancient documents in recent decades: first, a new interest in the ancient production of written artifacts; and second, the concern with the archaeological contexts, and more particularly the taphonomy–that is, the processes at work in the burial–of those same objects. The first, largely driven by the availability of digital images, has given life to the study of ancient writing as a cultural and social phenomenon and to the social life of written objects. In the process, connections between literary and documentary texts have come to the fore and distinctions between these categories have eroded. The second revolution began with an interest in what archaeological contexts of excavated papyri could tell us about the history of the texts, but it has evolved to see the texts themselves as artifacts engaged in an iterative dialogue with both the contexts and other objects found in them.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Kehidupan Sosial Budaya Masyarakat Islam, khususnya sejarah masuknya Islam, kondisi Kehidupan Sosial Budaya dan faktor-faktor penghambat dan pendukung pengembangan Islam di Sape Rasabou Kabupaten Bima. Penelitian ini mengunakan metode Historis yaitu melalui tahap Heuristik, Kritik, Interpretasi dan Histografi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah Historis analisis, dan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, Kondisi kehidupan Sosial Budaya Masyarakat Islam berlangsung dalam kehidupan kegotongroyongan, meskipun terdapat perbedaan status Sosial, namun mulai terjadi pergeseran semenjak masuknya ajaran Islam bahwa manusia sama derajatnya kecuali yang membedakan adalah ketakwaannya. Kehidupan Budaya Masyarakat Islam di Sape Rasabou berkembang sebagaimana perkembangan agama Islam di wilayah tersebut. Kebudayaan islam terbentuk seiring dengan berkembangnya agama Islam. This study aims to find out the Social and Cultural Life of Islamic Communities, especially the history of the entry of Islam, the condition of Social and Cultural Life and the factors inhibiting and supporting the development of Islam in Sape Rasabou Kabupaten Bima. This research uses Historical method that is through Heuristic, Criticism, Interpretation and Histography. Data analysis used is Historical analysis, and qualitative method. The result of the research shows that the condition of the social life of the Muslim society takes place in the life of mutual cooperation, although there are differences in social status, but there is a shift since the entry of Islamic teachings that human beings are equal except the difference is their piety. The Cultural Life of the Islamic Society in Sape Rasabou developed as the development of Islam in the region. Islamic culture is formed along with the development of Islam.

The growth of social exclusion may be affected many aspects of social life such as alcoholism, prostitution and drug addiction. Particularly worrying is the growth of alcoholism among young people in Poland. A 2009 study conducted in Poland by WHO states that 11–15-year-old students in Poland are attempting to drink alcohol. Prostitution is another social phenomenon affecting the development of social exclusion. The most common cause of prostitution in Poland is difficult financial situation and inability to obtain work. Another negative phenomenon, which may affect the growth of social exclusion is drug addiction. The reasons for importance of drug abuse among social problems are not only quantitative parameters, but also the dynamics of the phenomena and changes in the structure of the population affected by the problem. Synthetic studies of the spread of drug addiction emphasize that the increasing rate of the phenomenon goes beyond its reach and environmental groups traditionally associated with drug addiction. This is the reason why it is so hard to help the drug addicts.

Pela-Gandong could be seen as an alliance among two or more villages in Central Maluku territory. Pela-Gandong, besides as brotherhood and friendship among them,this alliance also shared common purpose of cooperation and collective security. Conflict in the beginning of 1999 draws up public attention to the effectiveness of the principles which contains in pela-gandong alliance. Important question come forward because of the plurality condition among current Indonesian society. Should pela-gandong principles nowadays, still playing role to develope social, economy and cultural life of Maluku traditional society? The purpose of this writings is to find out the weaknesses of pela-gandong alliance(s). Based on this, it should offers some suggestion how to strengthening the principles of pela-gandong alliance into the state and the social life in Indonesia.

The article deals with the views of scholars on legal influence in the system of social influence. Using a systematic methodology for the study of legal phenomena, the social system is revealed in its relationship with law and legal influence from the standpoint of modern theory of law. Social norms in the system of social influence are characterized. It is noted that the main purpose of social norms is to ensure the system nature of social relations, orderliness, organization, and focus on socially useful results. In the context of the modern understanding of these legal institutions, such types of regulators of social relations as custom, tradition, moral, religious, political, corporate and legal norms are distinguished. A feature of legal influence is a specific toolkit, which consists in a unique set of legal means, methods and techniques of influence, through which law affects people and society. Psychological, economic, organizational and managerial, political, cultural and religious direction of influence cannot be effective without the influence of the legal, because law regulates in detail the important aspects of public life and consolidates the interests of society. Issues of economic organization, the functioning of the political system, and some issues of organization of cultural life of society are reflected in law. Other areas affect certain aspects of human life. These areas actively interact, having a comprehensive impact on society. Each type of social norms has shortcomings, but, acting in the system, they affect various aspects of the human psyche, ensuring the fullness of social influence, contributing to the common goal – the desired state of social life. Legal influence has a special place in the system of social influence.

Abstract ObjectiveProper social participation and involvement in the daily activities of life increases the feeling of attachment, and increases a person's sense of worth, belonging, and dependence on society. Lack of social communication leads to anxiety, loneliness, depression, panic, mental. While COVID-19 has become a pandemic, public health measures to cut off human-to-human transmission may include quarantine and social isolation. Due to social distancing and quarantine practices, people's participation in many areas of social life and daily activities has been disrupted. The purpose of this study is to provide insight into the effects of the Covid 19 epidemic on integration into home activities, integration into the community and integration into productive activities, and overall determination of social participation during this epidemic.MethodsIn June 2020, the Social Integration Questionnaire (CIQ), which measures integration at home, integration in the community, and integration into purposeful and productive activities, was transcribed with the required demographic information in a web-based format. A total of 461 people (mean age 36.86±5.8 years) completed the social integration questionnaire in a cross-sectional study. The effects of Covid-19 on social interaction were then calculated by analyzing CIQ scores before and after the outbreak of COVID-19 and the data were analyzed using SPSS software version 22.ResultsComparing the participants score in the Community Integration Questionnaire before and after the COVID-19 pandemic showed that COVID-19 reduced home integration (from 4.6909±2.84 to 3.5938±2.80 , t= 11.151 p <0.000), social integration (from 8.6529±1.98 to 6.1150±2.10, t= 25.440, p <0.000), integration into productive and purposeful activities (from 5.3145±1.70 to 3.5098±2.02, t= 23.226, p <0.000) and total CIQ test score (from 18.6584±4.02 to 13.2185±4.56 , t= 29.022, p <0.000). These findings show how all three CIQ domains and their total scores decreased significantly after the outbreak of COVID-19.ConclusionAfter the COVID-19 epidemic, people's social life is severely disrupted. The direct and indirect psychological and social effects of COVID- 19 are widespread and can affect mental health. Trial Registration: This study was registered and approved by the Ethic Committee of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, Tehran, Iran (IR.USWR.REC.1399.228).

This paper is about how the seasons and social life of the highlanders are interconnected to each other. It largely concerns on two thematic areas: documentation of emic perspective of naming systems of seasons, and accounting the interconnectedness of seasons and social life of highlanders who live in Nhāson, a small mountain valley located in the central Himalayan region of Nepal. Information is based on 9 months place-specific ethnography in different periods from the years 2012 to 2018. Informal conversation with the local people and observation of the physical environment and socio-cultural life were the key sources of understanding the interconnectedness of seasons and social life of the highlanders. Findings show seasons are the parts of social life for the highlanders. The change of seasons from one season to another is not just a matter of change in weather patterns and the associated changes in physical environment of the surrounding but it is also a change in social life. Therefore, physical and social seasonality go side by side as rhythms which are the integral parts of culture and social life of highlanders. Moreover, local’s definition of seasons is cultural specific and place-specific that challenges state defined universal definition of seasons and force to rethink it differently.
