Nanotechnology is the study of materials, devices, and systems that display features that are distinct from those found in larger systems. It is no surprise that medical and dental researchers have taken notice of this rapid advancement in technology, which has piqued their curiosity about how it may be used to cure and prevent disease. It is a relatively new science that deals with the manipulation of matter at the molecular level, including the manipulation of individual molecules and their relationships. High-level control of position and chemical characteristics are the primary goals of this method. Nanotechnology has become one of the most promising and significant areas of scientific research as a result, thanks to an increased interest in interpreting matter's property at this dimension. Nanotechnology has been used in dentistry to produce new materials and procedures for diagnosing, preventing, treating, and regenerating periodontal disease, which is the subject of this article. Cargoes and materials such polymeric nanoparticles, non-porous nanogels, nanotube scaffold matrices, and nanofibers have shown promise effectiveness, and their functions in disease treatment are of significant interest. The purpose of this review paper is to offer thorough recent updates on the numerous nanotechnology-based methods to periodontal disease treatment.

Abstract Although, studies have shown several cases of kidnapping in both developed and developing countries but the case of a developing country like Nigeria is seems to be pathetic and worrisome, largely because of its contributions to the ancient slave trade that greatly affected several Nigerians for many centuries in the past. With such awful experiences in the past and its contribution to backwardness of the human race, one would have thought that cases of kidnapping would never occur in Nigeria, but the reverse has been the case in the contemporary. Hence, several studies have emerged on the subject of kidnapping in recent times. However, it could be observed that these studies are strongly connected with rituals power, wealth and traditional purposes. While the nature of the Nigerian society which is characterised by injustice and its contributions to the menace of kidnapping has been hitherto neglected in academic literature. The present study intends to address this flaw in knowledge by addressing the three research questions raised. Being a review paper, the study engaged secondary data in collecting relevant information to analyse and illustrate questions raised. The study argues that if the current high level of injustice in Nigeria could be reduced, there may be a corresponding reduction in the cases of kidnapping.

The background of this study was the low student learning outcomes of PPKn, from 28 students who achievedthe completeness criteria at least only 11 students (39.29%). The low student learning outcomes are caused bythe high level of individuality between students so that the achievement of competence among studentsexperiences a very distant difference. Based on this, the researchers made improvements to student learningoutcomes through the application of STAD cooperative learning models. This research is a classroom actionresearch, with the subject of class VII of SMP Negeri 3 Teluk Kuantan. The data used in this study is PPKnlearning outcomes data. The results stated that after applying the STAD type cooperative learning model studentlearning outcomes had increased in the initial data the number of students who completed were 11 students, incycle I had an increase with the number of 18 students, and in cycle II the number of students who completedcontinued to increase by the number 22 student.

Climate change and its impact on water resources is the problem of the times. Therefore, this study is concerned with the subject of climate change and its impact on the water ration of the grape harvest in Diyala Governorate. The study was based on the data of the Khanaqin climate station for the period 1973-2017, (1986-2017) due to lack of data at governorate level. The general trend of the elements of the climate and its effect on the water formula was extracted. The equation of change was extracted for the duration of the study. The statistical analysis was also used between the elements of the climate (actual brightness, normal temperature, micro and maximum degrees Celsius, wind speed m / s, relative humidity% The results of the statistical analysis confirm that the water ration for the study area is based mainly on the X7 evaporation / netting variable, which is affected by a set of independent variables X1 Solar Brightness X4 X5 Extreme Temperature Wind Speed ​​3X Minimal Temperature and Very High Level .

The author analyzes definitions of the concepts of determinants of crime given by various scientists and offers her definition. In this study, determinants of crime are understood as a set of its causes, the circumstances that contribute committing them, as well as the dynamics of crime. It is noted that the Russian legislator in Article 244 of the Criminal Code defines the object of this criminal assault as public morality. Despite the use of evaluative concepts both in the disposition of this norm and in determining the specific object of a given crime, the position of criminologists is unequivocal: crimes of this kind are immoral and are in irreconcilable conflict with generally accepted moral and legal norms. In the paper, some views are considered with regard to making value judgments which could hardly apply to legal norms. According to the author, the reasons for abuse of the bodies of the dead include economic problems of the subject of a crime, a low level of culture and legal awareness; this list is not exhaustive. The main circumstances that contribute committing abuse of the bodies of the dead and their burial places are the following: low income and unemployment, low level of criminological prevention, poor maintenance and protection of medical institutions and cemeteries due to underperformance of state and municipal bodies. The list of circumstances is also open-ended. Due to some factors, including a high level of latency, it is not possible to reflect the dynamics of such crimes objectively. At the same time, identification of the determinants of abuse of the bodies of the dead will reduce the number of such crimes.

The article analyzes the philosophical and cultural view of “doctor’s professional culture” as a result of centuries-old practice of human relations, which is characterized by constancy and passed from generation to generation. Medicine is a complex system in which an important role is played by: philosophical outlook of a doctor, philosophical culture, ecological culture, moral culture, aesthetic culture, artistic culture. We have found that within the system “doctor-patient” the degree of cultural proximity becomes a factor that influences the health or life of a patient. Thus, the following factors are important here: 1) communication that suppresses a sick person; 2) the balance of cultural and intellectual levels; 3) the cultural environment of a patient which has much more powerful impact on a patient than the medical one.At the present stage, the interdependence of professional and humanitarian training of future specialists is predominant, as a highly skilled specialist can not but become a subject of philosophizing. We outlined the sphere where the doctors present a genre variety of philosophizing (philosophical novels, apologies, dialogues, diaries, aphorisms, confessions, essays, etc.). This tradition represents the original variations in the formation of future doctor’s communicative competences, which are formed in the process of medical students’ professional training.A survey conducted among medical students made it possible to establish their professional values, which are indicators of the formation of philosophical and culturological competence. It was found out that 92% of respondents believed that a doctor should demonstrate a high level of health culture (avoid drinking and smoking habits, etc.)99% of respondents favoured a high level of personal qualities of a doctor which would allow methods and forms of medical practice to assert higher human ideals of truth, goodness and beauty that are the subject area of cultural studies and philosophy.

Background:Idiopathic juvenile arthritis (JIA) is a heterogeneous group of pathologies whose origin remains unknown at present (1). They are characterised by a systemic inflammatory and joint disease affecting children under 16 years of age. The current classification groups the different forms of JIA into 7 distinct entities (systemic forms, polyarticular forms with or without rheumatoid factors, oligoarticular forms, inflammatory arthritis associated with enthesopathies (ERA), arthritis associated with psoriasis and unclassifiable arthritis). Exact etiology of JIA is still unknown. To date, the various hypotheses put forward on the occurrence of JIAs integrate the genetic and environmental framework.The link between periodontal disease and rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is largely reported. Recently, Porphyromonas gingivalis (P. gingivalis) infection explained the occurrence of arthritis in rodent and in RA (2). Several studies mention the beneficial effect of P. gingivalis treatment on disease activity.Currently, there are very few studies on the prevalence of P. gingivalis in patients with JIA and the possible involvement of the germ in the development of inflammatory joint diseases in the pediatric population(3)(4).Objectives:The objective of our study is to determine presence of high IgG antibodies against P. gingivalis and Prevotella Intermedia in a cohort of patients with JIA compared to a control population and to determine variation of level according to sub-classes of JIA.Methods:Sera were obtained from 101 patients satisfying the ILAR classification criteria for JIA and in 25 patients with two other dysimmune disorders (type 1 diabetes and juvenile inflammatory bowel disease). Level of IgG antibodies against P. gingivalis and Prevotella Intermedia were obtained by homemade ELISA already used previously (5).Results:In the JIA group, major children were oligarthritis (47.5%), polyarthritis represents 31.7% of JIAs, ERA and systemic forms of JIA are respectively 9 and 11%. For the control group, 10 (40%) children had diabetes and 15 (60%) had IBD.Levels of anti-P. gingivalis anti-Prevotella Intermedia antibodies were higher in AJI group compared at control groups (P<0.01, P<0.05). Theses difference are mainly related to oligoarthritis and ERA subsets for both P. gingivalis and Prevotella Intermedia.Figure 1.Relative titer of antibodies to P. gingivalis and anti Prevotella intermedia. *: P<0.05; **: P<0.01; ***: P<0.001. For the first time, we observed that this high level was mainly in oligoarthritis and ERA. Further investigations are required to investigate involvement of oral dysbiosis in AJI pathogenesis. AbstractIn this paper I shall examine the use and misuse of some astronomical terminology as it is commonly found in the literature. The incorrect usage of common terms, and sometimes the terms themselves, can lead to confusion by the reader and may well indicate misconceptions by the authors. A basic definition of the Be phenomena is suggested and other stellar characteristics whose interpretation may change when used for non-spherical stars, is discussed. Special attention is paid to a number of terms whose semantic nature is misleading when applied to the phenomena they are intended to represent. The use of model-dependent terms is discussed and some comments are offered which are intended to improve the clarity of communication within the subject.

The search for knowledge regarding healthy/adequate food has increased in the last decades among the world population, researchers, nutritionists, and health professionals. Since ancient times, humans have known that environment and food can interfere with an individual’s health condition, and have used food and plants as medicines. With the advance of science, especially after the conclusion of the Human Genome Project (HGP), scientists started questioning if the interaction between genes and food bioactive compounds could positively or negatively influence an individual’s health. In order to assess this interaction between genes and nutrients, the term “Nutrigenomics” was created. Hence, Nutrigenomics corresponds to the use of biochemistry, physiology, nutrition, genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, transcriptomics, and epigenomics to seek and explain the existing reciprocal interactions between genes and nutrients at a molecular level. The discovery of these interactions (gene-nutrient) will aid the prescription of customized diets according to each individual’s genotype. Thus, it will be possible to mitigate the symptoms of existing diseases or to prevent future illnesses, especially in the area of Nontransmissible Chronic Diseases (NTCDs), which are currently considered an important world public health problem.
