This paper evaluated the influence of E-marketing on patronage behaviour and its attendant challenges in some selected hotels. This study employed a descriptive survey research design. This research work employed the use of structured questionnaire that is closed ended. A total of 22 copies of questionnaire were administered in the research work to elicit information from the respondent. Purposive sampling was used to select 11 three star hotels in the study area. 2 Management staff was selected using purposive sampling technique from each of the 11 selected 3 star hotels in the study area. The data collected were analysed through the use of descriptive method of data analysis such as tables, percentage and charts. The study revealed that E-marketing saves time and increases patronage level, E-marketing enhances patronage increase, quality website improves customer patronage and online advertising improves patronage level. However, it was also revealed that some of the challenges facing E-marketing includes no centrally acceptable payment method, Unstructured Presentation of Information, E-Marketing advertisements are poor, E-Marketing internet domain are weak as well as poor sensitization frustrates E-marketing. The study concluded that E-marketing is an important strategy to capture patrons who are use to online booking system and enhancement of convenient booking for online patrons who are relatively far from the locations of the hotels. However, the study recommended that the use of E-Marketing among establishments especially in hotels should be encouraged in order to capture people from far locations who need reservations at their own convenient time.

The paper assessed the roles of maintenance culture in the sustainability of hotels in Ado-Ekiti the research employed the use of survey research method; it involved the use of a well structured questionnaire to elicit information from respondents. Purposive sampling technique will be used to select three (3) star hotel as the sample for the study. The reason for making use of the purposive sampling was because the researcher feels its right to use 3-star hotels for the research. Three (3) star hotels are the ones that have at least some average facilities that can be maintained. In all the 3 star hotels in Ado Ekiti, a total sample of 20 hotels were selected for the study using convenient sampling technique which form 20% of the total population of the hotels in the study area, The patrons who responded to the questionnaire were selected with the use of convenient sampling technique. A total of 4 patrons were selected from each of the 20 hotels. However, the researcher was able to retrieve 79 out of 80 copies of questionnaire administered. The data collected were analysed using descriptive method of data analysis. It was revealed that proper and effective maintenance culture helps to shape the image and quality of services rendered by hotels which in turns attracts both old and new customers; maintenance culture is valuable for the sustainability of hotels and their brands as it helps in retaining the corporate image, retaining competitive advantage and satisfies current and intending customers of the hotel; poor knowledge of the need of rebranding of hotels, looking at most of the hotel owners from observation, one can deduce that many of them does not have a good knowledge of maintenance culture, hence, many hotels have a snail growth. It was recommended in the paper that the hotel owners should create a strategy to imbibe the use of maintenance culture into their business, and by so doing they will be able to gain and retain new and existing customers. The association of hotel business owners should dim it fit without sentiments to train and re-train their members on the new maintenance culture methods.

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to obtain an overview of the waste management system applied in Kamulan Market and a description of the behavior of traders in managing waste. This study uses a descriptive survey method with a case study design. While the approach used is a qualitative approach. The targets of this research are market residents who are considered to know about the market situation including market coordinators, cleaners, and market traders. Targeting is done by purposive sampling technique. The results of the research show that the overall trash management activities carried out in Kamulan Market have not been in accordance with the provisions. The discrepancy lies in the activities of sorting and processing trash. In addition, regulations regarding trash management and market cleanliness are still not running optimally. The traders have carried out their obligations by paying dues to market managers as their responsibility to maintain cleanliness. Nevertheless, there are traders who do not maintain the cleanliness and leave it at a fish's rubbish its on-site selling. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh gambaran sistem pengelolaan sampah yang diterapkan di Pasar Kamulan dan gambaran perilaku pedagang dalam mengelola sampah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei deskriptif dengan rancangan studi kasus. Sedangkan pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah penghuni pasar yang dipandang tahu tentang situasi pasar diantaranya koordinator pasar, petugas kebersihan, dan pedagang pasar. Penentuan sasaran dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara keseluruhan kegiatan pengelolaan sampah yang dilakukan di Pasar Kamulan belum sesuai dengan ketentuan. Ketidaksesuaian terletak pada kegiatan pemilahan dan pengolahan sampah. Selain itu peraturan mengenai pengelolaan sampah dan kebersihan pasar masih belum berjalan secara maksimal. Sejauh ini pedagang sudah menjalankan kewajibannya dengan membayar iuran kepada pengelola pasar sebagai tanggung jawab mereka dalam menjaga kebersihan. Meskipun demikian terdapat pedagang yang tidak menjaga kebersihan dan meninggalkan sampahnya di lokasi berjualan.

Muzara’ah is the contract between farm workers and farm owners in which, cost of cultivations, seeds, and fertilizers are provided by the farm owners, meanwhile the farm workers have responsibility in giving their best efforts on cultivating the farmland. Later then, the harvest will be shared according to the contract that has been agreed. The purpose of this research is to describe farmer’s welfare in the village of Sodo after implementing Muzara’ah Contract with the Maqashid Sharia approach. This research approach is qualitative descriptive and uses case study as its strategy. Informants in this research are administrator from Krido Tani Farmers Association, The farm workers, and the farm owners. These informants determined by using purposive sampling technique. The data collection techniques are carried out through interview and direct observation. According to the research, it was shown that agricultural cooperation with Muzara’ah Contract has a role in improving farm workers’ welfare, viewed from the indicators of Maqasid Sharia.Keywords : Muzara’ah, Welfare, Farmer, Agricultural Cooperation

This study aimed to find out what category of lecturer talks applied by lecturers in classroom interaction. This study was a descriptive survey. The participants were chosen by using purposive sampling technique where there were four English lecturers who taught at Second Semester Class of English Department of Baturaja University in the academic year of 2016/2017. The data were taken through observation, questionnaire and interview. Camera recorder and checklist were the instruments used in this study. The data were identified by using FLINT (Foreign Language Interaction) system as developed by Moskowitz (1971). The result of the study showed that the total of frequencies the deals with feeling were 9 or 1.6%, praises or encourages were 57 or 9.9%, uses ideas of students were 42 or 7.3%, asks questions were 199 or 34.6%, gives information were 92 or 16%, gives directions were 151 or 26.3% and criticizes student behavior were 25 or 4.3%. In conclusion, the category of lecturer applied by lecturers was asks questions in classroom interaction that the best ways to develop their role as an initiator and strategies that promote interaction in classroom activity. This study aims at empirically analyzing the effect of tax moral, sanction, and tax relaxation o n taxpayer compliance. This study result is expected to provide an option to increase tax compl ia nce d u ri ng the Covid-19 pandemic. The type of this study is a quantitative study. It collects the data using a questionnaire in the form of Google form. The sampling technique of this study uses purposive sampling. The number of samples is 95 MSMEs members registered at the Department of Cooperative and Micro Enterprise, Magetan Regency, Indonesia. The data were analyzed by the multiple linear regression analy sis techniques. The analysis result shows that during the Covid-19 pandemic, tax moral function was negle c te d in increasing tax compliance.The focus of MSMEs owners is trying to maintain thei r b usi ness t o su rv iv e while their tax obligations are the next priority. The considerations as thei r b asi s t o c arry o ut t h ei r t ax obligation are sanction and tax relaxation. The sanction plays a strong role in increasin g t a x c o mpl ia nce which means the tax compliance of MSMEs owners is in compliance due t o c o e rci on. Ta x re l ax at ion i s another option as a solution to increase the taxpayer's compliance with MSMEs owners during the pandemic. It gives ease and relief for MSMEs owners to fulfill their tax obligations

This study aims to describe students' mathematics learning outcomes in matrix material through e-learning based learning. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Limboto with a descriptive method involving 21 students as the research sample selected by purposive sampling technique. Data collection was obtained from the results of mathematics learning tests involving several indicators, namely: (1) understanding, (2) application, (3) analysis, (4) synthesis, and (5) evaluation. The results showed that students' mathematics learning results through e-learning-based learning were in the poor category, which was indicated by the percentage of scores achieved by students of 69%.

Background: Child abuse is a kind of domestic violence that involves all forms of physical, emotional and sexual maltreatment and negligence of children under the age of 18 years which potentially or actually damages all aspects of their health. Child abuse is a global problem with serious lifelong consequences. In India the child abuse has not received enough attention. There have been few and irregular efforts to understand and address the problem. Aim was to assess the level of knowledge regarding prevention of child abuse among parents.Methods: Descriptive Survey design was used. The study population comprised of parents of children less than 18 years of age. A sample of 60 parents were selected by non-probability purposive sampling technique. A self-structured questionnaire was used to assess the knowledge regarding child abuse among parents. Informed consent was taken from each participant prior to data collection and descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyse the data.Results: Majority of parents 60% had poor or fair level of knowledge, 39% had good knowledge whereas only 1.6% had excellent knowledge. There was a significant association between knowledge and age of mother at 0.02 level of significance.Conclusions: The finding of the study concluded that the knowledge regarding child abuse among parents was inadequate.  Considering this aspects further awareness drives can be conducted to make the people alert about child abuse and its prevention.

This study aims to determine the adaptation form of the Bajo tribe in case study farming activities in the Bajo community in Jawi-Jawi Village, Bungku Selatan District, Morowali Regency. The research was conducted in March 2019 in Jawi-Jawi Village, Bungku Selatan District, Morowali Regency. The informants in the study were people who knew the problems to be studied, namely 8 people consisting of fishermen from the Bajo tribe who did farming, village heads, village secretaries, and community leaders. The technique of determining research informants using the purposive sampling technique. The analysis used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The results showed that the form of adaptation of the Bajo tribe to farming activities was conducting land processing, selecting seeds, planting, fertilizing, controlling weeds, and harvesting in cultivating cassava, corn, and vegetables as one of the basic needs of the family in the southern season.

The research titled "strategy of subak community in reducing land alternation of ricefields due to tourism (Case Study Subak Umadesa Lodtunduh Village, Ubud)", aims to understand subak strategy in reducing land alternation of ricefields due to tourism in Subak Umadesa, Lodtuduh Village, Ubud, Gianyar-Bali. This research uses SWOT analysis techniques, with data collection techniques of observation, in-depht interviews, literature study, and documentation. Moreover the technique of determining informants using purposive sampling technique, which determines the sample with a certain consideration which is deemed enable to provide the data to the maximum results in accordance with the criteria of the research objectives. The result of this research after conducting interviews and observations based on SWOT analysis matrix is creating agro-ecotourism activities. Forms and types of activities of agro-ecotourism that can be implemend in the territory of Subak Umadesa include: trekking, directly agricultural activities such as plowing, planting, harvesting, interaction with local people directly, etc. Hence the agricultural sector is not being marginalized by the development of activities in tourism sector.

Food aid program policy is made to overcome poverty problem in Indonesia. This policy always changes year by year to improve the effectiveness of the program. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of Rice for the Prosperous Population Program <em>(Bansos Rastra) </em>and Non-Cash Food Assistance <em>(BPNT) </em>in Sikayu Village, Buayan Sub-district, Kebumen District, Central Java Province with 6T indicators or 6 indicators of accuracy, including accurate on target, accurate on price, accurate on amount, accurate on time, accurate on quality and accurate on administration. The basic method of this research is descriptive method. The location of this research is determined intentionally. Sampling is done by purposive sampling technique. The analysis was carried out using the results criteria approach. The effectiveness of <em>Bansos Rastra</em> program is based on <em>Bansos Rastra </em>General Guidelines 2018, while the effectiveness measurement of <em>BPNT </em>program is based on <em>BPNT</em> General Guidelines 2018. The effectiveness of <em>Bansos Rastra</em> program, which is based on the achievement of the objectives according to <em>Bansos Rastra</em> General Guidelines 2018, is said to be ineffective as there is one out of the four points of purpose which is not achieved, namely the point of aid distribution conducted every month. The effectiveness of <em>BPNT </em>program in Sikayu Village based on the 6T indicator reaches 100% since all indicators have been fulfilled. The effectiveness of <em>BPNT</em> program based on the goals achivement is in accordance with <em>BPNT</em> General Guidelines 2018 which is said to be effective as all objectives have been achieved.
