The paper describes the excellent method to get first-rate accuracy and performance in the discipline of Tamil character recognition in a handwritten mode. However, the subject is still at a nascent stage and grossly lacks adequate accuracy in the Tamil language, even though several studies have been conducted within the discipline of handwritten character recognition. This paper draws the attention to the offline handwritten recognition for the Tamil language using the Inception-v3 based transfer learning method. The proposed work is conducted on the readily available HP Tamil handwritten character offline dataset (Hewlett-Packard Lab: hpl-tamil-iso-char-offline-1.0.). It reveals that with the suitable arrangement of transfer learning approach with Inception-v3, the pre-trained model can achieve the recognition accuracy of 93.1%, overtaking the former deep learning designs. The achieved accuracy is due to the use of a pre-trained version with transfer learning that regularly hastens the method of the training process on a new task. Overall, this results in higher accuracy and a more capable version.

The rotary tube piercing (RTP) is the first process of making the seamless tube after producing the desired alloy ingot. There are several approaches to manufacture a seamless tube, but one of the most common types is RTP. This approach covers a wide range of processes that are categorized according to the number and shape of the rollers. On the other hand, each of these types has designed guides in the output and input of the piercing process. In this paper, a new design of the input guide for four types of rollers have been examined and simulated. Thus, four specimens including Diescher and Conical rollers were considered, with the different number of rollers. Results including torque, total force, mandrel wear, temperature distribution, and strain were extracted using FEM simulation. In order to the validation of simulation, the total force and oscillations of applied force within the process have been compared with the experimental results. The results obtained through this simulation, are more in line with the empirical results obtained from previous research. As well as, the FEM simulation confirmed the performance accuracy of the output and input guides of the RTP process. On the other hand, the results indicate that the three-roller Diescher type with 17° feed angle, has the most suitable arrangement for production of seamless tube.

Abstract Drawing on interviews with key informants and seasonal workers in Germany, Spain, Italy, Austria and the UK, and on non-participant ethnographies, this paper demonstrates that, despite various limitations associated with work in the agriculture sector, migrants strategically choose the times and destinations of their trips abroad, taking into account a variety of factors, including family commitments, economic goals at the origin, wages and working conditions, health issues and welfare opportunities. The findings illustrate that, depending on their commitments and economic objectives, Romanians who work in agriculture develop different mobility practices. While some work abroad only occasionally, when they need to supplement their home-country income, others engage in circular migration or extend the periods of time they spend abroad. In host countries, most workers try out various jobs and typically get involved in repeated migration once they have found a suitable arrangement. Some workers combine seasonal work in one or more countries of destination, over the course of the same year, with the aim of securing income for longer periods of time, while others opt for long-term migration or move into sectors that offer better opportunities.

High-Rise buildings with their particular features can affects on surrounding environment and makes new microclimates. In the windy conditions, the spaces that are between building blocks changes to passages and affects on the wind velocity, intensity and it’s other parameters. The importance of this effect is different in each level of building height. The Pedestrian-Level is the lowest and one of important areas. Markets, playgrounds and pedestrian access had located in this area and any unwanted microclimate changes like high velocity and turbulence in this level can makes discomfort and dangerous condition for residents. So this research tries to consider the pedestrian- level wind comfort in some High-Rise building complexes arrangement that had located in Tehran district 22 with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling and reaching to a suitable arrangement pattern. It had collected the required data through field study and librarian databases and then compared them with standard guidelines and analyzed them by comparative comparison method. As a result a linear arrangement that placed crossover to wind direction for providing wind comfort and preventing wind danger is been suggested in this region.

In this paper, the carrier arrangement for manufacturing fabrics with a symmetrical cross-section using multi-layer interlocking braiding technology based on square rotary braiding is studied. To obtain a suitable arrangement, the paper defines a matrix to describe the state of each slot of the horn gears. The possible types of transfer positions are analyzed, and the rules of arrangement are made. A mathematical model is established to determine the possible carrier positions. Using the model, the carrier arrangements for I-section and C-section preforms are obtained. This model is helpful in solving the carrier arrangement for all types of fabrics with symmetrical cross-sections in engineering applications.

Now a days electrical energy is essential to social development and for the economic growth of any country. Majorly the world facing the power generation problem.  The fossil fuel sourcesare limited and needed to use properly. This huge power generation increases the green house effect.  Hence to overcome  this effect, prefer combined operation of Solar Photovoltaic (SPV)  and Wind power generation systems. Due to high penetration of  SPV  and wind systems in presen tenergy schememighteffectand form many practical issuesparticularly to individual systems and weak grids, with lack of control and ample loading capability. Hence, incorporating both SPV and wind energy systems to form an optimal arrangement, the effect offlexible nature of wind as well as solar energy can partlydeterminedbesides the whole arrangementsuits more efficient and reliable to operation. This paper presents the exploration on control schemes  of combined SPV and wind driveincorporationarrangements. Energy, incidence oscillations and harmonics are significant power quality disputes for grid mode as well as standalone arrangements having hugeeffect in weak networks. Thus can be determined to a hugelevel by having suitable arrangement, innovative reaction techniques with energy storage arrangement and good optimization of both grid onnected and standalone ,hybrid SPV and wind energy systems.

The present work describes the state-of-the-art technology for a Sideway Faced Porous Radiant Burner (SFPRB) of 10–15 kW capacity, operated by liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) applicable for industrial furnace and incinerator. The newly developed SFPRB is a two layer burner, consisting of a reaction zone and a preheat zone. The combustion zone is of reticulated SiC ceramic matrix of porosity 90%, diameter 120 mm and thickness 20 mm and the preheat zone is of Al2O3 ceramic having 463 through holes (diameter 1.5 mm), with 15 mm thickness and 120 mm diameter. The work presents the effect of geometrical parameters (length of mixing pipe and diameter of orifice) on the radial temperature distribution of burner surface. Experimentation has been done in 15 kW input power to study the behavior of air-fuel mixture entering the burner. Ultimately, it is focused for uniform temperature distribution on the burner surface with a suitable arrangement. The work also presents a detailed account of the temperature distribution along the two main burner axes and the emission measurements (CO and NOx) for the suitable SFPRB. Investigation was done for an input power range of 10–15 kW with an equivalence ratio of 0.5.

The problems of antimissile defense constitutes one of the key issues of global arms control domain of today. No advancement toward the lowering of global military threat, reciprocal reduction of nuclear weapons’ arsenals and the solving of contemporary tasks in the vast realm of today’s strategic stability are feasible, if a suitable arrangement on it is not to be found. At the same time, this conundrum is the major irritant in the Russia-West interrelationship, first and foremost, in our dealings with the NATO military-political alliance led by the USA. Therefore, finding the mutually acceptable solutions to this end would have promoted the consolidation of mutual trust and created the prerequisites for moving toward a safer and more stable world. The paper suggests a set of specific urgent steps that would show the ways out of the current negotiating impasse related to the ABM problematic and created the basis for a potential agreement while not afflicting the national security of any state in the world.
