Abstract Efforts to improve the quality of local chickens, especially free-range chickens, are carried out by improving genetic traits, namely through a strict selection method to produce broilers with the name of Superior Local Broilers (ALPU) and laying purposes with Arab Kampung Chickens (Kamaras). This study was conducted to obtain information on the comparison of ALPU and Kamaras embryo development for genetic improvement as the basis for further research. This study used 105 ALPU hatching eggs and 105 Kamaras hatching eggs, the observations were carried out for 21 days. Eggs were collected for 7 days and then put into the incubator, then observed every day by breaking each 5 ALPU and Kamaras eggs to see 7 parameters of embryo development in the form of: body weight, body length, head circumference, neck length, beak length, wing length and leg length. The results showed that there was no significant developmental difference between ALPU and Kamaras embryos. However, the embryo weight and beak length of Kamaras tended to be larger than those of ALPU, while the head circumference and wing length of ALPU tended to be larger than that of Kamaras. In conclusion, the embryonic development between ALPU and Kamaras showed relatively similar embryo development during the hatching period.

Modern diagnostics in rowing enables more and more possibilities for recording, and comparing numerous stroke variables. At the same time, many coaches fall into the trap of strict respect for the prescribed norms, ratios, and temporarily results, which the athlete must achieve if he wants to stay in the world of competitive rowing. On the example of the comparison of rowing schools RC "Danubius" and RC "Partizan", descriptive indicators are on the side of RC "Danubius" at a time of 2000m, average force and average power. No significant differences were found in average force (sig = 0,167) between rowers of RC "Danubius" and RC "Partizan", while statistically significant differences were recorded in time at 2000m (sig = 0,036) and power (sig = 0,02) in favor of rowers of RC “Danubius”. On the other hand, a higher correlation of average force (-0,955) and power (-0,928) with time on 2000m was achieved by RC "Partizan" than RC "Danubius" (-0,931) and (-0,896). The correlation between the average force, and the average power within one team shows a higher correlation for RC “Partizan" (0,95) compared to RC "Danubius" (0,755). The obtained results are not enough for single rower or crew elimination from competition to recreational section in the process of too frequent and strict selection of rowers, considering different possible ways of building rowing techniques and numerous parasitic factors that may affect measured variables, specialy at the age under 14 and novice rowers in general.

At present, the speed and scale of the dissemination of false health information has increased significantly, due to the Internet and social networks, which has become a serious problem and challenge for the worlds public health systems. The issue of spreading implausible news has become most acute against the background of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since February 2020, the World Health Organization has introduced the term infodemiс, which characterizes the rapid growth of unreliable and false reports of a pandemic by analogy with the spread of the virus. The purpose of this article is to study the issues of the emergence and ways of spreading misinformation about health, to consider approaches for taking effective response measures in the conditions of infodemiс. The article was prepared using a systematic review of research publications based on strict selection criteria in the bibliographic databases PubMed, ScienceDirect, as well as online resources that addressed the issues of dissemination and countering false information in the field of healthcare. Countering disinformation needs to be done through correcting information, purposeful refutations based on evidence, implementing initiatives to improve the media literacy of the population, as well as by improving the supervision of social networks. Coordinated interaction between governmental and international organizations, the scientific community, the media, and global Internet social media platforms is crucial in this process.

Abstract One of the Ministry of Agriculture’s efforts to support agricultural development is by providing equipment and machinery assistance. There are many multi-dimensional problems, both technical, socio-cultural, economic, and environmental. This study aimed to analyze the sustainability status of the agricultural equipment and machinery assistance program. This research was conducted in 2020 with the object of the two-wheeled tractor and four-wheeled tractor assistance program in 2018-2019. Research location covers six districts, the selection of site determined by the provinces considered the most successful and the least successful in realizing activities. The sustainability status of the activity program was analyzed using Multidimensional Scale Analysis. The collected data and information through structured questionnaires from 47 institutional respondents and literature studies, both printed and electronic. The results showed that agricultural equipment and machinery assistance program (TR2 and TR4) was less sustainable. The comparison of the MDS value and Monte Carlo’s analysis was 49.93, with an R2 value of 89%. The S-Stress statistical test is still relatively high, namely 0.30 (above 0.25), which means improvements and refinement needs from the implementation aspect. Improvements from various elements are divides into two groups. First, leverage factors that encourage the sustainability and success of the implementation of activities, and the second is the improvement of the performance of TR2 and TR4 beneficiary groups. Policy recommendations for implementing future program activities are a strict selection of potential beneficiaries and improvements in the management aspects of beneficiaries at the farmer level by providing guidance.

Purpose: A former rodent study showed that cerebral traumatic microbleeds (TMBs) may temporarily become invisible shortly after injury when detected by susceptibility weighted imaging (SWI). The present study aims to validate this phenomenon in human SWI.Methods: In this retrospective study, 46 traumatic brain injury (TBI) patients in various forms of severity were included and willingly complied with our strict selection criteria. Clinical parameters potentially affecting TMB count, Rotterdam and Marshall CT score, Mayo Clinic Classification, contusion number, and total volume were registered. The precise time between trauma and MRI [5 h 19 min to 141 h 54 min, including SWI and fluid-attenuated inversion recovery (FLAIR)] was individually recorded; TMB and FLAIR lesion counts were assessed. Four groups were created based on elapsed time between the trauma and MRI: 0–24, 24–48, 48–72, and >72 h. Kruskal–Wallis, ANOVA, Chi-square, and Fisher’s exact tests were used to reveal differences among the groups within clinical and imaging parameters; statistical power was calculated retrospectively for each comparison.Results: The Kruskal–Wallis ANOVA with Conover post hoc analysis showed significant (p = 0.01; 1−β > 0.9) median TMB number differences in the subacute period: 0–24 h = 4.00 (n = 11); 24–48 h = 1 (n = 14); 48–72 h = 1 (n = 11); and 72 h ≤ 7.5 (n = 10). Neither clinical parameters nor FLAIR lesions depicted significant differences among the groups.Conclusion: Our results demonstrate that TMBs on SWI MRI may temporarily become less detectable at 24–72 h following TBI.

The COVID-19 pandemic has greatly affected the Indonesian economy, especially the welfare of Indonesian workers. During this pandemic, there are still violations of the law on immigrant or foreign workers. This study aims to discuss how the conditions that occur during the arrival of Chinese work migrants and how the rules or policies regulate this. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with data collection using literature studies. Based on research results from literature studies, the government claimed to have brought workers from China into Indonesia. This action is of course very contrary to what is happening and the government's efforts so far to suppress the number of COVID-19. Even though the unemployment rate is increasing due to layoffs such as the number of 1,722,958 people, the government still allows foreign workers from China to enter and seems to prevent local Indonesian workers from working. In fact, in Government Regulation Number 34 of 2021 as the central legal basis, permits for extension of workers and strict selection of workers must still be carried out consistently. In conclusion, the immigration and labor sector in Indonesia still shows clear shortcomings.

This article presents the results of the effect of cold induction of latent nuclear polyhedrosis virus on the reproductive performance of silkworm. It has been established that as a result of the induction of latent nuclear polyhedrosis virus and strict selection for all reproductive indicators, fertility increases. An analysis of the physiological defects in clutches showed that the breed Ipakchi 2 has a significant decrease in comparison with the years in 2018 (4,6 %), in 2019 (0,9 %) and in 2020 (1,9 %). All other experimental breeds and lines have a fairly low physiological defect rate – 1,7-2,0 %. According to the results of the analysis of the initial clutches (F3), the grains of the rocks and lines were selected for the tribe all the analyzed clutches. In subsequent generations, a more rigorous selection by reproductive indicators will be carried out.

Full-particle modeling of gamma-ray and proton induced extensive air showers (EASs) in the Earth's atmosphere as well as Monte Carlo modeling of photon transport in a small size Cherenkov telescope and signal registration with its camera based on the OnSemi MicroFJ SiPM detectors have been performed. Calculations have been carried out for primaries within the 0.3 - 30 TeV range and a telescope with a 10 m(2) mirror similar to the unit employed at the TAIGA observatory. It has been shown that even with strict selection criteria aimed at high quality EAS images, the threshold detection energy of the SiPM-based camera would not exceed 0.8 TeV - about twice as low as the current threshold of the TAIGA-IACT camera based on vacuum photomultipliers.

Routine outcome measurement (ROM) data offer unique opportunities to study treatment outcomes in clinical practice, and can help to assess the real-world impact of mental health services for children and adolescents (youth). This is illustrated by studies using naturalistic data from specialist child and adolescent mental healthcare services (CAMHS), showing the proportion of patients with reliable improvement, recovery or deterioration (Burgess et al., 2015; Wolpert et al., 2016), and revealing specific subgroups of patients with greater risk of poor outcome (Garralda et al., 2000; Lundh et al., 2013; Murphy et al., 2015; Edbrooke-Childs et al., 2017). Naturalistic data are therefore undeniably necessary in addition to data derived from randomised clinical trials, which often have limited generalisability due to strict selection criteria (Rothwell, 2005; Van Noorden et al., 2014).

Abstract Objective To determine whether there was any difference in neonatal and maternal outcomes between breech vaginal delivery and cephalic vaginal delivery. Methods A retrospective, case-control study was conducted between January 2015 and December 2017 in a Portuguese hospital. A total of 26 cases of breech vaginal delivery were considered eligible and 52 pregnant women formed the control group. Results Induced labor was more frequent in the breech vaginal delivery group (46% versus 21%, p = 0.022). Episiotomy was more common in the breech vaginal delivery group (80% versus 52%, p = 0.014), and one woman had a 3rd degree perineal laceration. Newborns in the study group had a lower birthweight (2,805 g versus 3,177 g, p < 0.001). There was no significant difference in the neonatal outcomes. Conclusion The present study showed that breech vaginal delivery at term compared with cephalic presentation was not associated with significant differences in neonatal and maternal morbidity. It also suggests that breech vaginal delivery remains a safe option under strict selection criteria and in the presence of an experienced obstetrician.
