This research is motivated to find out the survival of the Society survival in areas prone to landslides In The Village Of North TandikekPatamuan Sub-District, Padang Pariaman District. Research location in the village of North Tandikek. This research uses qualitative approaches with case study research types, data collection techniques by observation, interviews and documentation.The selection of informant is done by Purposive Sampling. The Analysis of this research uses functional structural theory by Talcott Parsoons AGIL. The results of the research are that (1). The reasons for society to stay in the research site are: a). Environmental Factors, b) Economic Factors, c) Social Cultural Factors, d) Education Factors. (2). Society strategies for survival in landslide prone areas that is: a). Looking for a safe haven b). SMAN 4 Pariaman is located in an area prone to disasters, especially the earthquake and tsunami. SMAN 4 Pariaman is located on the coast of the West Coast of Sumatra, which belongs to the tsunami red zone in Pariaman City. Based on this, all school residents must be prepared to face the disasters that will occur, especially the earthquake and tsunami. This type of research is a combination of research (Mixed Methods). This research is a step of research by combining two pre-existing forms of research namely qualitative research and quantitative research. The results of the study found 5 main priorities, namely 1) Optimization of meeting the basic needs of disaster management with a value of (5,000), 2) Application of evacuation routes and zones of vulnerability to our position or presence (4,556), 3) Socialization through facilities and infrastructure prepared by parties BPBD with grades (4,412), 4) Make maps to the evacuation sites of schools with grades (4,200), 5) Facilitate evacuation route signs such as posters with grades (3,587). The results of the FGD and data processing by data processing with Bayes method obtained 5 main priorities, namely 1) Schools must incorporate knowledge about disasters into the curriculum or subjects with values ​​(5,100), 2) Improvement of earthquake resistant facilities (4,467), 3) Schools must enter disaster mitigation activities into extracurricular values ​​(3,933), 4) Making maps of tsunami evacuation routes to TES with values ​​(3,923), 5) Conduct TRC education and training with a value of 3,857.

West Sumatra BPBD said that West Sumatra was very vulnerable to natural disasters, and for most of the year natural disasters struck. The efforts made by the government in disaster management efforts in West Sumatra, especially in the city of Padang, were to establish a Disaster Education Park on the Purus Coast of Padang City. The Disaster Education Park aims to provide an understanding of disasters to the community, so that the community can prepare themselves for disasters. The purpose of this research is to describe the role of Purus Padang River Care Community and Disaster Education Park for disaster mitigation in Padang City. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The results of this study concluded that there are several roles of the River Concern Community and Disaster Education Park in disaster mitigation efforts in the city of Padang, including: (1) Providing reading books as a source of knowledge about disaster, (2) Establish a River School, (3) Making KPS management a playground, (4) Providing Disaster Material / Training to the Community, (5) Monitor River Development, (6) Maintain the cleanliness of rivers, lakes and beaches.

Metal mercury (Hg), has the chemical name hydragyrum which means liquid. Mercury metal is represented by Hg. In the periodic chemical elements Hg rank (NA) 80 and have atomic weights (BA 200,59). Rat Purun (Eleocharis dulcis) and water hyacinth (Eichhorniacrassipes) are plants that are widely found in tidal swamp land. Both plants can be used as organic fertilizer, biofilter, and absorb toxic elements such as heavy metals Lead (Pb), Iron (Fe), Mercury (Hg), Sulphate (SO4). This study aims to determine the ability of rat purun plants (Eleochalisdulcis) and water hyacinth (Eichhorniacrassipes) in reducing mercury (Hg) levels in water and to determine the effectiveness of rat purun plants (Eleochalisdulcis) and water hyacinth (Eichhorniacrassipes) in absorbing mercury Hg. Sample analysis was carried out at the Bandar Lampung Standardization Research Center.The results obtained by rat purun plants (Eleochalisdulcis) can reduce mercury levels (Hg). The effectiveness of reducing heavy metal mercury (Hg) is 97.88%. Water hyacinth plants (Eichhorniacrassipes) have effectiveness in reducing heavy metals mercury (Hg) which is equal to 96.66%.

This study aims to analyze the geoecological potential of the coast in Central Lombok Regency. The research method uses a survey method by determining the sample by purposive sampling. The analysis unit used is a geoecological unit that is assessed for the potential and constraints of each to develop certain tourism activities. Assessment of potential uses a SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threat) to determine the development of coastal areas as opportunities for surrounding communities and sustainable maintenance of resources. The development of tourist areas is able to contribute to local revenues, open business opportunities and employment opportunities and at the same time function to maintain and preserve natural and biological wealth. classification of geoecological units in the Central Lombok coast1). Coastal alluvial geoeconomic units, 2) Valley geoecological units between hills, and 3) Geoecological units of the slopes of the denudational hills.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of work culture on visitor satisfaction at PDIKM Padang Panjang City. This study uses a quantitative approach. The study population was tourists visiting PDIKM Padang Panjang City. The sample in this study consisted of 376 respondents who were determined using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 5% and the sampling technique was done through accidental sampling. Data analysis techniques using simple regression analysis. The findings show that there is a significant influence between work culture on visitor satisfaction by 13.8%. The results of the study concluded that work culture influences visitor satisfaction at PDIKM Padang Panjang City.

The purpose of this study is to study community participation in the preservation of mangrove forests located in Nagari GasanGadang and Nagari Malai V, BatangGasang Sub-District, Padang Pariaman Regency, West Sumatra Province. The indicators consist of (1) Description of Community Aspects, Measured parameters of community participation that are linked to 3 socioeconomic status, namely Level of Education, Employment and Income; (2) Description of Biological Aspects, Parameters measured by the level of density of mangroves by making Measuring Plots measuring 20 x 20 m totaling 10 Measuring Plots that are spread evenly. Primary data obtained directly in the field and interviews with 65 respondents while secondary data is supporting data obtained from relevant agencies. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of community participation and the analysis of mangrove species density using the Mann-Whitney Test statistical analysis for testing the difference in species density and the Kruskal-Wallis Test statistical analysis for testing the level of community participation with the SPSS 15 Program. The results showed that the results of the hypothesis test of differences in density revealed that the Z value for density was -2,243 (p <0.05), meaning that the density of mangrove forests showed an average difference, that there were significant differences in the level of density of mangrove forests. While the Difference Test Results of Community Participation with Chi-Square based on education amounted to 0.513 (p> 0.05), meaning that community participation on the preservation of mangrove forests at the educational level did not show any difference, while based on the Chi-Square value of 16,203 (p <0 , 05), means that there are significant differences in community participation between work. for Chi-Square income of 0.248 (p> 0.05), there was no significant difference in community participation between income levels. Based on the socio-economic aspect, that community participation whose income <1 million is very low, people's income 1 - 1.5 million participation is low while the community's income> 1.5 million participation is high in maintaining the preservation of mangrove forests in BatangGasang District.

This research aims to reveal, explain and analyze about: the symbolic meaning of the motion of Dagong dance, and the reason why the people still maintain the dance of Dagong tradition to date. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection is done by observation, documentation and library study. Based on the research findings shows that (1) the symbolic meaning in the Dagong dance can be seen from each of the movements that have meaning and intent in it in the village of Bantan Tengah Sub-district of Bengkalis. Can be reviewed from the historical aspects of Dagong dance There is no change of movement from the past to the present, this dance is already empty because of the absence of dancers anymore. This dance is commonly performed by the indigenous peoples who were married and the event of seventeen Augustusan in the village to enliven. Then from the customary aspect of the existence of Dagong dance makes one that must be done if there is a ceremony of indigenous peoples Liong wedding party because this dance in the Sacred tribe think B Agi Indigenous Liong and there is a ritual process. (2) The process of implementation in the Ritual first by Bomo or the chief of the tribe, then when finished the event of new Ritunya dancers and musicians began to perform the dance. (3) The reason that society still maintains because this dance is a hereditary dance that is considered sacred by the indigenous people, although it is now almost extinct because of the absence of dancers anymore. And this dance is also a distinctive characteristic or self-identity, the original public ID of the tribe liong in village Bantan Central District BantanBengkalis District Riau Province
