The studies were carried out in the conditions of ZAO PPF “Kavkaz” of the Krasnodar Territory. The article presents results of studies on separate and combined usage of active coal feed additive (ACFA) as a sorbent and “Sporothermin” probiotic for development of muscles and internal organs of broiler chickens of “Cobb-500” cross. The studies were carried out in accordance with the “Methodology for conducting scientific and industrial research on agricultural poultry.” At the end of the experimental period, the development of the muscles and internal organs of the bird was studied. In the course of the experiment, the survivability of the bird, the increase of live weight, and the cost of feed were also determined. As a result of the studies, it was revealed that the use of a probiotic and a sorbent increases the live weight of an un-gutted carcass by 5.0-8.7%. With the combined application of a sorbent and a probiotic, the mass of the glandular stomach was significantly increased by 0.15 abs. % (P <0.001). Intestinal mass significantly grew up with application of ACFA sorbent by 0.42 abs. % (p <0.05). Intestinal length evidently decreased by 8.5% (p <0.001) when using “Sporothermine” probiotic. It should be noted that the mass of the thigh muscles significantly increased by 29.0% (p <0.05) in the second experimental group with usage of ACFA, in relation to the control. At the end of the experiment, the live weight of poultry increased by 4.2% (p <0.01) in the second group with ACFA application. In the third group, where “Sporothermin” was used, the live weight grew up by 9.0% (p <0.001). In the fourth experimental group, which was fed with both the sorbent and the probiotic, the best results were obtained and the live weight significantly increased by 9.7% (p <0.001). Over the entire experiment period, feed costs per unit of production have been reduced by 4.3- 8.6%. The survivability of the poultry population was 94.4% in the control. In the second and third groups, the survival rate was also high and exceeded the control by 3.0%, in the fourth - by 5.6%.

Abstract Pig farming is one of the most important and strategically valuable sub-branches of animal husbandry for ensuring food security of Russia and its regions as the special role of meat and meat products is determined with their significance as the main source of proteins of animal origin in human sensible nutrition. The novelty of the work is the use of an active coal feed additive as part of the diets of experimental piglets for growth and development and meat productivity during cultivation and fattening. Effective pig farming suggests use of high-quality feeds meeting requirements of presence of nutritional components and absence or minimum content of harmful and toxic substances. The conducted studies prove that the dose of activated charcoal feed supplement in the amount of 0.050 g/kg of live weight gives the highest results.

The analysis of different doses of complex feed additive to poultry ration have been made. The influence of new feed additive with bioresources of the Far East use on productive poultry indexes, on production quality and digestibility of nutritious matters of mixed feed has been studied. Patrinia scabiosifolia, Acanthopanax sesseliflorum, cones of cedare nut husk, brown seaweed, macro- and microelements, vitamins were the object of research. As a result of these researches author presents more effective norms of complex feed additive use in poultry farming of Khabarovsk Kray. The recipe of feed additive from local vegetable resources and complex of vitamins and minerals for use in laying hens nutrition was worked out. The aim of this work was to rise zootechnic and economic indexes of poultry production. The introduction of complex feed additive in ration influenced positively on the digestibility, raised the content of Omega-3 fat acid in egg of laying hens. The increase of Omega-3 fat acid quantity promotes decrease of cholesterol in yolk of egg. In the experimental groups there was a more intensive use of nutrients in diet, mainly due to raw protein, fats, mineral substances – calcium and phosphorus. The use of a new feed additive had a positive effect on the hatchability of eggs, the development of internal organs (heart, liver) and the live weight of chicks obtained from the eggs of chickens in experimental groups. Additionally, the content of mineral substances (calcium, potassium, phosphorus) in the egg of test group was higher than in the control on average by 2.3-5.1%.

The use of nanomaterials in poultry farming has become increasingly popular as feed additives capable of increasing the productivity of the herd. Nanocrystalline cerium dioxide belongs to nanomaterials with a broad spectrum of activity. Owing to their oxygen non-stoichiometry and low toxicity, cerium dioxide nanoparticles are a very promising object for agriculture. The paper presents the results of studying the meat productivity of quails of the Pharaoh breed when drinking nanocrystalline cerium dioxide in the composition of the feed additive “Nanocerium”. The study was carried out on quails during the rearing period from 14 to 49 days. For the experiment, two groups (control and experimental) of 24 heads each were formed from one day old poultry. The quails were kept in a vivarium, in cage batteries, subject to the accepted microclimate conditions. Poultry of both groups received compound feed, developed taking into account age and physiological characteristics. With drinking water, the of the experimental group additionally received nanocrystalline cerium dioxide as part of the feed additive “Nanocerium” at a dose of 8,6 mg per liter of water for 35 days. The quail population was counted and weighed weekly, starting from the day-old age. The following indicators were determined: safety, dynamics of live weight, average daily gain in live weight. According to the results of the control slaughter and anatomical cutting, the weight of the carcass and the weight of the edible part were determined. Slaughter qualities and morphological composition of quail carcasses were determined by anatomical cutting with the measurement of the following parameters: pre-slaughter weight, half-battered carcass weight, carcass patrana, slaughter yield, weight of edible parts. Drinking the feed additive “Nanocerium” by young quails increased their safety by 4.17%, live weight and absolute average daily gain by 20.3 g and 0.48 g (P <0.05), respectively. The addition of NDC quails to drinking water contributed to an increase in their pre-slaughter weight by 19.3 g, half-gutted carcass by 18.0 g, and gutted by 17.5 g in comparison with the control group. The quail carcasses of the experimental group had a higher yield of edible parts in comparison with the poultry that consumed pure water. Key words: quail, nanocrystalline cerium dioxide, safety, body mass, gain, slaughter rates, output of edible part.

Under the conditions of scientific and farm scale trial the efficiency of introduction of the feed additive "Abiotonic" into the diet of highly productive Holsteinized Simmental cows (during the transition period and for days in milk) was studied. "Abiotonic" is an improved analogue of the known imported preparation "Chiktonik" differing from the foreign analogue by its manifoldly increased peptone concentration and the presence of highly deficient microelements (selenium and organo-element compounds of iodine). Our researches have shown that feeding the preparation "Abiotonic" at a dose of 150 ml / head contributed to an increase in cow productivity by 5.84%, improved the physicochemical properties of milk and increased its nutritional value. The use of a feed additive also contributed to the prevention of gastrointestinal diseases in cows, an increase in their resistance as evidenced by haematological parameters and bacteriological feces analysis. The incidence of cows in the experimental group was not observed. The use of the preparation "Abiotonic" for cows in the final stage of the dry period and at the beginning of lactation reduced the time for separation of the placenta in cows after calving by 6.54% or 0.4 hours, increased the live weight of newborn young stock by 1.6% and reduced the service period of experienced cows by 8 days compared with the control ones. The use of the "Abiotonic" feed additive contributed to the receipt of additional income from the sale of milk in the amount of 1152 rubles / head. The obtained experimental data allow us to recommend the use of domestic import-substituting feed additive "Abiotonic" in the diets of cows in the transition period and for days in milk at a dose of 150 ml / head daily in the last phase of dry period and every other day for 40 days after calving.
